W hen the bag went over her head, she did not know what to do. She had already exhausted her abilities. They were much stronger than her. What else could she do? She was a visitor to this town and had no allies here yet. A lone woman was more than susceptible to attacks. But this one was not random. She had been targeted by people from her hometown. The only reason a group this large would have taken the time to hunt her down wherever she was had to be due to her fiance, Drake. The snake of a man she was promised to had to be behind this. He and her father probably put up a hefty reward to have these folks risk their lives navigating across the terrain. "Seems We've got you. You cannot break an agreement by running away. You're mine." Cass knew that voice anywhere. So her soon to be husband had accompanied the clan that he'd hired to find her. The young woman struggled as she had her hands tied behind her back after being held by someone. There was nothing that she could really do. She was caught. By her own clan. But, maybe we should start at the beginning of the seemingly normal day. Today had started like any other. She had woken up, gotten something to eat with the rest of the clan she'd recently joined. Mind you, the woman never stayed with a clan very long. Being on the run made it difficult to develop and grow roots. To stay hidden you have to keep moving. The rule of thumb was that she moved every two weeks. Sometimes she would leave sooner, sometimes she'd stay a bit longer. It would all depended on the rumors and if she heard her family was making any moves. She'd been here about ten days, so she had already decided where she was going to go next. The only downside being that she'd grown to like a few of the members. Honestly she could see herself here long term. So when a notice came out about a mission, she was more than happy to volunteer for it. The gil was really important if she planned to get to her next destination safely. It certainly didn't seem like a trap. It was a rather simply mission. Maybe the reward amount should have clued her in that it wasn't a legitimate mission. Instead, it was a trap made just for her. The mission was to collect a run away pet chocobo. It was a pretty noble cause compared to some of the ones they had take up in the past. Cass went with three others to go find and rescue the chocobo. But when they arrived, it was just a field, no chocobo. When she went to question it, that's when she was grabbed by one of her clan members. It seemed that they'd found out her true identity and how much she was worth to be returned alive. So, when the bad slid over her head after her clan-mate grabbed her, she knew it was over. She'd been caught and she was going to be forced into a marriage she did not want to be in. She knew she shouldn't have put her trust in anyone. She'd trusted her clan and had gotten rather comfortable. She'd made friend. But the honest truth was that no one was her friend. They'd turn her in for the smallest pay day. Everyone had their ulterior motives. No one did anything out of the kindness of their hearts. It's how she was in this position. A bag over her head, hands tied in front of her as her fiance made the exchange of gil for her to the three clan members. There was only so much she could struggle.

And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain
Earlier that morning, Dieter stood at the bar with his fist clenched around its’ edges in unvoiced rage as he’d eavesdropped on a nearby groups’ plot; the betrayal of one of their own for a hefty sum of Gil. Their employer specified that if they wanted their add-on bonus, they were to deliver his property to him unscathed. Before he’d pushed himself up from the bar to confront the man, their employer had already risen and made his way out of the Pub. His accomplices waited a few seconds before they scattered about the tavern to inspect different Mark Hunt Boards. They’d hastily posted up a singular request, ensuring that they’d placed it so it overlapped other Marks. He’d eyed them cautiously out of the corner of his eyes, absent mindedly drumming his fingertips against the bar as he’d waited for them to move away. He made his way to the nearest board, his shoulder clipped against one of rogues as he began to inspect the board. He scanned it from top to bottom as he ran his fingertips along each of the marks. Their request was fairly simple, it was to recapture a runaway pet Chocobo. The request itself raised a couple of red flags, it’d included a remote section of a nearby plain as the last seen location and it advertised an egregious reward. Who was their intended target though? For the time being, Dieter had no way of knowing. He’d daftly snatched two Marks from the board, one was a simple cactoid subjugation, the other was their posted mark. He’d tucked both Marked missions into the folds of his robes. His eyes darted back to forth as he’d scanned the room to ensure that they were none the wiser to his ploy. He’d returned to his seat at the bar, gesturing for another drink. It wasn’t alcoholic, no it was simply cactoid juice mixed with a dollop or two of honey and a splash of herbal tea. He finally caught a glimpse of their intended target, she was a petite woman with flowing hoary tresses and captivating burgundy eyes; she was a truly beautiful. He’d winced to himself as she’d snatched up the Marked Request and go off to show her teammates; she’d seemed excited about the prospect of a potentially easy payday. His fist clenched in rage as he’d watched them put on a show, their acting was quite good; this wasn’t the first time they’d done something like that. His hand inched over his shoulder, his hand coming to rest on the hilt of his blade. He continued to actively suppress the urge to lunge across the room and rend one of their head clean off their shoulders; it wouldn’t be the first time he’d done such a thing. He’d forced himself to release his weapon as the quartet of adventurers left the Pub. He’d waiting for Syel and Ysera to arrive, quickly briefing them about what he’d overheard. Before they could voice their objections, he’d already made his way out the door. Now, he stood on the edge of the plain, he’d remained crouched behind some shrubbery as he’d watched them slip a bag over their exhausted comrades’ head. He’d heard one of the men utter about how she couldn’t break an agreement just by running away, how she’d belonged to him.” Destruction of nature, gather in flame! Fire!” He’d whispered to himself as he’d conjured a singular ball of amaranthine fire. It danced playfully in his hand as he’d pivoted around the bush he’d hidden behind. He’d smiled as he’d tossed it in their direction, it’d crashed against the ground before exploding outwards. Hopefully, it would pause them long enough. “I’d hate to disappoint, but the lady has no obligation to come with you.”

Doing more research on the black fiends, 'Heartless'? Syel pondered more on the dealings with these creatures. They were a bad menace at it is. Also other requests caught her attention at times, but it was even more interesting when a trail from one request went to another as she found more rumors and troubles on the Heartless. Today was another day for research she felt. Well, she felt until she came to Ysera and they found Dieter coming their way.
Syel was surprised to find him being so quickly in briefing them in on something and even more confused on how he left so quickly. Though, from her understanding, there seemed to be big trouble where a woman was getting kidnapped by her own teammates. That seemed like the most ridiculous thing ever. From the sounds of it, someone was requesting the woman to be taken against her will to them. What. She hoped this wasn't really that bad, but she hurried after Dieter before he got out of her sight and they'd have trouble even finding where everyone had gone. It wasn't like she had seen the request.
Having followed Dieter, Syel was a small distance away behind a rock and hoped Dieter had kept track of her when she had followed him. From the distance, she couldn't really get what all was going on before thinking to move closer, maybe get to Dieter before he was playing with a ball of fire and showing himself. Shaking her head, Syel wasn't entirely sure what was going on. Considering she was more support than a fighter, she figured she'd stay hidden for now and aid Dieter once needed. Maybe with just Dieter there, the group would let their guard down. ulla

| Tired. The worlds were somehow a rather... peculiar place to get into. While Ysera had managed to find some gateways or portals or any other name the people appear to use per world. What even, they did fade away. From her understanding, it wasn't even quite normal to have them open for as long as she had found a few of them. There were some suggestions on Gummi Ships that apparently can fly from world to world, so that was a better option. She planned to see if people felt like pooling in for a ship or two. Maybe work on that. How much Gil did these cost anyway?
Considering some worlds even used other currencies, this was going to be much a hassle. Ysera figured she'd best find some of the moogles and learn more on this thing. There had been a few afloat in many worlds. Even if they looked a tiny little different, moogles stayed very... moogly... Enough of that, Ysera hadn't really been sleeping too well since she managed to get back to Ivalice. It was a bit of a bother to get back, but at least she managed to return in time. She felt best to alert Dieter and Syel on her travels.
Getting to the bar, she noticed Dieter already being there. Seemed rather usual, but Syel came in soon after her. Raising a 'hello', Ysera wanted to ask her if she wanted to come, so they could speak with Dieter and she didn't have to tell her tale twice. However, Dieter already hurried his way over to them. Now, this was curious, he seemed rather hurried and from his words, that showed quite well. This was... a problem. Apparently a group of another clan had posted a Mark only to kidnap the woman in question. This wasn't good at all, why some cans did these kinds of things was beyond the Gria.
However, Ysera couldn't really voice her opinion or a plan of action as Dieter rushed off. This... unsettled the Hunter a little, especially with Syel running right after. Wait, wait, wait, her mind in chaos, Ysera was confused by the quick action. True, it was probably best to go right away to make sure they'd not get away, but running in without a plan was possibly a problem just as well.
Gritting her teeth, Ysera moved out of the door and spread her wings. Flying up, she didn't really care for the moment that the citizens would probably not enjoy people on their roofs, but she needed to get after her fellow clansmen and find more out about this plot. Considering her way by going over the buildings and head straight for the Estersands was quicker than going by the pathways through the city, Ysera leapt over the rooftops and flew great parts as she headed straight for the Estersands before landing there and heading to where she understood it should've been.
In the plains, Ysera moved low to the ground as she soon noticed a group taking hold of a woman, placing herself by any cover she could find from the ground and shrubberies, her eyes scanned for Dieter and Syel. It didn't take long before Dieter made himself known. Standing up herself as she didn't like staying on the ground for too long, she had her bow in her hands while she listened to Dieter's words.
Counting the targets, this didn't seem like the best of ideas, but Ysera's position was further away from Dieter's, so they could split the group up in they wanted to go after both Ysera and Dieter. Without the use of a real arrow, one non-solid arrow was shaped in her fingers as she pulled her bow and launched a Vitals Shot right at one of the enemies that looked more like a magic-user. It was aimed at the torso, but if hit elsewhere or a different enemy in a different area, it would still inflict a status effect that might just help.
| Abilities User Vitals Shot: Ysera creates a special enhanced arrow that isn't solid and, thus, does no damage when hitting someone with it. Instead it causes a status effect upon those she hits with it for one post. When hitting someone in the legs, this effect will be immobilize, meaning the person cannot move for the duration. He can still fight from the spot he's on, but he's unable to leave that specific spot. When hitting someone in the arms, this effect will be disable, meaning the person cannot attack with his arms nor with any weapon or magic. In short, he's unable to make any offensive actions, but can still move around. When hitting someone in the torso, this effect will be silence, meaning the person cannot attack with any magic spells nor cast spells the remainder of the duration. When hitting someone in the head, this effect will be blind, meaning the person cannot hit anything with physical attacks, so any melee attacks with or without weapons will miss, but magic attacks still work normally. Two post cooldown.
| Cooldowns Vitals Shot: Two posts.

T he plain may have been the perfect location for a kidnapping, but it was the worst place to try and escape when you are ambushed. Everything was running perfectly until Dieter stepped in to make a mess of the whole entire plan. Drake was less than pleased by this fact. He had his fiance back and he had not plans to let anyone take this opportunity away from him. She had been promised to him for the last six years, it was no one's business to be stepping in. Drake's eye shot over to the Monk in charge of the clan that had arrange everything. "I thought you said this was going to be flawless. You and your friends need to handle this..."The clan did not seem please either. The small team was made up of a thief, red mage, knight, and of course their leader a Monk. The Monk made his apologies to the man and proceeded to obtain the attention of his team mates to split up. They needed to handle this 'mage' that had appeared. The knight decided to handle the man himself, letting his allies be his cover. The voice gave away his gender, even with his appearance of a woman. The knight was extremely amused as he made his advance towards Dieter. It was easy to think he could beat a mage face to face. He had no idea he was about to be very surprised. A Fireball he could handle. A Dark Knight, not so much. As this happened, the thief moved to guard the fiance, help him find a way out. That was immediately halted when an arrow hit their mage nearby. It was a perfect hit, striking him directly in the torso. The arrow rendering him with silence making him completely useless. It seemed they were almost surrounded by the ambush. The Monk leader instantly warning his Knight to be safe when facing Dieter. Something wasn't right. The mage wouldn't be stupid enough to step out without some sort of plan. The thief leaving Drake and the silenced Mage to handle Cass as he moved to located and advance on Ysera. Cass could sense that there were less people near her, so she made her move. She stomped her foot down quite hard on her betrothed's toes. Drake hissed a bit in pain before she brought her head back to hit his nose as he'd leaned forward in pain from her first assault. The actions forced him backwards on his behind. The distraction was perfect. Honestly, she was surprised anyone would come to her rescue. Not a sole had taken any notice of her before. With a few shakes of her head, she has the bag off to increase her viability. That is, before the mage moved to stop her by grabbing her arm. "Should have bound my feet, jerks." She commented before moving a bit to cast Polka on the knight that was moving to attack Dieter. This would weaken the enemy and make his attack less powerful. She did not want her rescue being thwarted. She would do the best she could to help from her position. Abilities UsedPolka- A dance with quick movements to weaken enemy and lessen their attack power. It is a long distance attack. [ Lasts: One Post | Cooldown: Two Posts]

And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain
Dieter’s lips curved upwards, shaping themselves into a malicious, ravenous grin as he’d witnessed and savored Drake’s discomfort with the sudden change of events; oh, how delightful it was to watch the scum squirm. His elation only intensified as it became apparently, Drake wasn’t evidently nearly as intelligent as he’d believed himself. He’d already made one careless mistake, his interactions with the Monk had inadvertently singled out the Clan’s leader; Drake had identified his primary target. He had no doubt, if he’d managed to remove the Monk from play, their morale and confidence would plummet; it was a fairly straight forward tactic used employed the War of the Lions . The Dark Knight’s azure eyes briefly locked onto each of his adversaries, forcing direct eye contact as he’d made note of their gear; making use of it to discern a vague idea of their respective combat profession. He had to admit, they had a fairly well-rounded team, it was composed of what appeared to be a rogue, a spell sword of some sort, an armored knight, and lastly a monk. For the time being, Dieter made no effort to advance any closer, no, he’d decided to patiently wait for them to approach him. Why, one might of asked? He might have been hasty in approaching them, but he wasn’t foolish enough to let himself get close enough to be grouped up on; the mightiest of warriors could fall to a pack of goblins if they were careless. He dismissed such thoughts with a curt shake of his head, his eyes locking onto the Knight that smiled smugly to himself as he’d approached. Oh. If only this man knew the truth of what he was up against, he’d likely would have turned tail and ran. Before, he’d ever brandished his blade, he could hear the audible whistle of an arrow as it’d streaked across the battlefield towards its’ intended target. He saw it impact against the Mage’s chest with enough force to temporarily wind him, if he couldn’t speak than he couldn’t channel the magick energies required to formulate a spell; he was essentially useless. Dieter reached behind his back, his alabaster fingers curled around the worn leather that covered the hilt of his two-handed sword. With shocking ease, he hefted the blade from his back, its’ size dwarfed a knight’s standard longsword. He took a moment to admire the amaranthine blade, marveling how its’ jadeite veins glistened in the sunlight. His eyes shifted away from the Knight, momentarily lingering on the Thief as he took off in Ysera’s direction. He somehow doubted the man would get very far, Ysera could turn him into a pincushion with relative ease if he wasn’t careful. He barely registered Drake’s pained hiss as Cass smashed his foot and likely broke his nose; least she was a feisty little minx. He couldn’t help but chuckle, did she really need their help after all? ” You must think highly of yourself, if you’ve decided to challenge me alone.” Dieter spoke softly, his tone devoid of any emotion as he swung his sword down without force that it gouged into the earth. The moment that it connected with the ground, a flash of orange light was visible to all. This light extended from the center of his blade to form an elongated pentagram around him. He’d elected to invoke Masamune to grant himself not only a minor regens but also a haste boon for a short period of time. If Cass was lucky enough, hopefully it she was close enough to feel it’s’ effect. It was at this very time; the fabric of space began to warp and contort behind Dieter. Although, he’d never realize a singular being crept from this distortion and latched on to him. It promptly filled his head with malicious thoughts, amplifying the anger he felt towards these scums. Unfortunately for them because of its’ interference, they would receive no mercy from him. Dieter’s grip tightened on his sword as he leant forward before he pushed off the ground, propelling himself forward with surprising force. Oddly enough, even though they could see his feet connect with the ground, never once did he make a sound. His blade began to emanate a corrosive black aura that trickled up and down its length as he invoked Crushing Blow . It was an art known only to those who’d walked the path of a Dark Knight. Not only did his blade rend his enemies, but they’d feel the darkness as it clawed at their flesh and attempted to get into their mind; for those poor unfortunate souls, they’d be forced to meet with their darkest fears. Of course, that was only if they’d lived long enough for them to manifest. Dieter’s blade had been angled in such a way so cleave off one of the man’s arms. “Tell me, are you afraid yet?” He inquired with a playful grin, one that almost suggested he was casually asking someone if they were enjoying their drink 7U3iSuZS1-10word 300+ ● Syel the Green Ysera ● Haste / Regen 3 rounds, Masamune: 5 R CD, Fire 2 R CD, Crushing Blow 4 R CD 1-10

Syel noted the presence of Ysera when she launched an attack of her own. Dieter's attack alone had already disturbed the order of the small group that was holding the lady hostage. Ysera's attack then even silenced the only one that looked like a mage of the group, a red mage from what Syel would guess. Looking over the other members, the armored one, possibly a knight or warrior was advancing on Dieter. Meanwhile a lighter weight, which she would assume a thief or rogue was moving towards Ysera.
Getting up, Syel's eyes went from the Knight that was confronting Dieter, whom now had taken hold of his sword, to the Thief that was moving in on Ysera, then to the Red Mage and the man that had his foot heard, from the sounds it was the employee of the clan. Then to the Monk as she chanted words before casting Blind on the Thief that was advancing on Ysera, figuring she'd best aid the clan leader so she could more easily take care of the Thief.
As Dieter attacked his opponent, Syel felt only right to help him as well as she continued to cast another spell, this time Protect on Dieter in case the Monk also came his way. Considering he was the only melee they had and she didn't doubt he'd probably move in, especially with the Monk that appeared to be the leader of the group. She pondered for a moment to cast Oil on the Monk already, but figured she'd better keep it for later.

| Watching the arrow strike true, Ysera took notice of how the opponents were starting their own 'tactics'. More or less they were scattering themselves between the three forces. The Knight was headed for Dieter, who seemed to have no trouble thus far in taking on the man. The Monk, Red Mage, and some idiot that didn't appear to be a fighter as much as Ysera could see, were staying with the girl, though the girl herself wasn't really allowing them to keep her that easily either.
Noting Syel aiding by casting a spell at the Thief that was headed her way. Ysera did note that Syel was closeby Dieter and the Knight. However, Ysera's focus was currently not with the Thief that was closing in as a glowing arrow was on her bow once more. The arrow was pointed at the Knight, but as she fired the arrow, it curved and flew in a half circle. She used Sidewinder on once more the Red Mage, hoping to keep the mage busy especially now he had less chances to defend.
Having unleashed her attack, she held up her hand where the Ring of Pacts was on. Mist was weaved as she summoned two small bodies between her and the thief, Raiden and Sylph appeared where the small sylvan spirit immediately launched her attack at the Thief with Aero. Sharp winds were sent out at the Thief, they were small and very weak, but Ysera hoped the unfamiliarity of the small summons to the general people that haven't been to the Purvama would aid in causing some confusion to the Thief.
| Abilities Used Sidewinder: Ysera fires a glowing arrow in a random direction. This arrow tracks its target down and is hard to dodge. Its even twice as strong against lesser creatures like minor Heartless. For creatures with human thought process, the damage is normal (so for all player characters it's much like a normal arrow that has somewhat follows them instead of going in a straight line). One post cooldown. Ring of Pacts: Raiden: Rank II Flying Thunder Esper. Ramuh's pupil, having 6 HP and a cooldown of four posts, he's weak to Earth-type attacks while resistant to Thunder-type attacks. He's about on his own, usually floating around the battlefield and trying to stay away from opponents until he can perform his only attack. Ring of Pacts: Sylph: Rank I Ranged Non-Elemental Esper. Has 3 HP and a cooldown of two posts. A sylvan spirit that uses Air-type attacks. They’re usually found in groups, but this one is summoned alone.
Summon Abilities Used Aero: Sylph can send out a wind that cuts the opponent (it’s visible). A very weak attack and Sylph’s only way of attacking its enemies. No cooldown.
| Active Silence on the Red Mage: Ends his post. Raiden: 6 HP Sylph: 3 HP
Cooldowns Vitals Shot: One post. Sidewinder: One post.

C assialyn was so glad that she was being rescued. Her arm still caught by the mage before her fiance managed to regain his footing and get up. He was furious and the bloody nose made it even better. There was no way she was going off with him. Never. She was not going to allow her father's promises shape her life. That life had been left behind and forgotten. At times she did miss her family, but she needed her freedom. She never wanted to lose that. Drake was trying to make sure that she never had her freedom and that she came home and never left their town again. That was no life for her. She had no love in her heart for that man. It was that simple. As Drake took her arm, she struggled. But, she felt the effects of Dieter's Masamune spell. It would be useful when she came up with her plan to get away from him. Right now, she needed to sit still and wait it out. The knight continued his approach, sword in hand as he ignored the warnings from his clan leader. The Monk was not fighting right now, he could keep his nose out of this. Dieter spoke up before drawing his own sword. What mage had a sword? It was too late when the realization hit him. This man was not a mage. The ability used only confirmed to everyone that the man was a Dark Knight. The air almost thickened and the effeminate man's expression changed almost completely. It was odd, but there was nothing the Knight could do. He attempted a Parry but it was no use. The Dark Knight's attack had practically melted through his arm as he went down hard. There was quite a lot of blood. The thief advanced towards Ysera with the intentions of taking the woman out. This way, they could handle the dark knight. The thief ignored everything else going on around them and decided to handle things himself. That is, until he felt this strange feeling before his eyesight went dark. The thief slowed and rubbed his eye, completely out of the fight now. His eyes were the way he could do anything. The only thing he could do was use his Vigilance to try and defend himself. But, he had no idea what was coming his way. So, when the summons appeared and he felt the wind hit him, it was very surprising. It took his breath away as he tried to shield his face a bit. But, he was able to stand his ground. He was on the defensive now. The red mage let Drake take Cass before moving to see if he could position himself for when his mage returned. The sidewinder attack hitting him as he made his move. The man flinched at the hit, but was not down. He could feel the power dwindling off as he held his side where he was hit. There was no use dodging. The depressing part being that he couldnt warn the thief about the two summons. Being a magic wielder, he was vaguely familiar of summons. They did not frighten him as much as it might the thief. The monk watched as the knight went down and instantly moved into action. He wasn't going to let any of his clan mates die. That was not part of the plan. He moved as quick as he could, pausing only to cast his Shockwave attack, shaking the earth in front of him. It would hopefully do something to the seemingly invincible dark knight. However, he hadn't noticed that the mage on their team had casted protect. He had been too preoccupied watching his second in command. It would be more apparent if the ability struck Dieter and the protect reacted to take most of the blow. Cassialyn only had her fiance to stop her now. She struggled, trying to get away from the man. It was ridiculous how he had such a grip. That, or she really was the weak. The woman did her best to try and fight him as he made his attempt to pull her away so they could make their escape. She decided to try and use one of her dances. She felt the power flow as she closed her eyes and took a deep breath before moving her feet and swaying faintly, casting her Mincing Minuet.

| The Dark Knight’s neutral expression betrayed his intent, it’d suggest that he felt neither remorse for what he’d done to his enemy, nor did he seem to take pleasure in such needless brutality. Dieter’s eyes narrowed as he’d felt his blade riposte off the opposing Knight’s blade, redirecting the angle of his attack but not changing the end result – the arrogant knight had lost his arm from just above the elbow. He didn’t bother to spare a second glance as he’d stepped over the Knight that crumpled to the ground, his unoccupied hand nimbly darting around to pick up the discarded blade. He’d inspected it for a moment or two before he’d tossed it aside – well out of his fallen foes reach. By the time he’d looked in the Monk’s direction, the ground had already warped and rippled.
Before he could respond, he saw jagged chunks of earth exploding upwards, most of them smashed against an invisible wall – Syel’s Protect spell had done its job. However, some of the fragments managed to break her erected defense, dulled and blunted they’d exploded against his body. If it hurt, Dieter showed no indication that it had bothered him, nor did he make any attempt to staunch the flow of blood that trickled down his arm. His leg muscles tensed as for a split second before he’d pushed himself of the ground, effectively using his Haste boon to close the distance between him and the monk – Regen diligently working to repair the damage that had already been done. Dieter’s eye drifted shut as willed the Darkness to do his bidding, two distinctly different auras dancing along the length of his blade.
It lasted only a fraction of a second before his blade was entirely coated in a blackened miasma – a result of him using both Sanguine Sword and Infernal Strike in conjecture. He’d rolled his wrist and let his blade arc outwards the Monk. He’d make use of the Monk’s rumored vitality to replenish his own and repair the damage already done. Truthfully, he hadn’t bothered to look in his comrade’s directions – he trusted that they were more than capable of handling themselves. Not to mention, he’d seen a flash of light come from Cass’ direction, reassuring him that she was still actively resisting her captors.
“Ye wish to save him, no? Why bother, you both know you are human scum…. You betrayed one of your clan…. She trusted you to protect her… How many times have you done it before?”
Dieter questioned, his voice a low whisper as he’d tried to psyche out his opponent.

Syel smiled pleased at the sight of her Blind spell hitting true, this meant the Thief was incapable of causing too much trouble right now. It appeared, however, that Ysera was still focused on the group by the girl. The two familiar summons that appeared soon after was curious, Raiden and Sylph. She didn't really know of a way in helping the two, as of yet at least. The Sylph was already assaulting the thief.
Focusing on Dieter and the Knight instead, it appeared the knight was already dealt with to Syel. The Monk now had started to move as he caused a shockwave towards Dieter. She felt it was somewhat pointless to keep dealing with things that Dieter likely could handle by himself, plus he had some extra protection. Instead she started a new spell, this time aimed at the Red Mage who had been knocked about by Ysera in the hopes to deal with him a bit quicker. She cast Oil as black liquid fell from above the red mage down in an attempt to make him vulnerable to fire. She was certain that if either Dieter or Ysera could start a spark, they could easily burn down the red mage in the most literal way possible.
Thinking on that, Syel hurried forward now too as she cast a new spell towards the man that was holding on the captive. Just to see if she could cause the man to panic as she cast Silence on him. Runes shaped in the air around him, meant to take away his voice. She had no idea if the man knew magic or not, but it was mainly meant to create a spark of fear within the man.

| Ysera took in the battlefield as it was currently from her position. As the Thief was halted by both Syel’s spell and her summons, she was capable of making note of the remainder of the battlefield. Looking over her allies. Syel had moved out while aiding the three that were fighting the clan, which included the captured woman. She didn’t exactly have anyone opposing her presently, but she had given cast spells to aid Dieter against the Knight and now Monk, to aid her against the Thief, and on the Red Mage that was still not really in conflict with anyone outside being hit by attacks.
Dieter had taken down the Knight, but the Monk leader of the opposing clan had started to make his move upon him. Dieter seemed to be handling himself well enough, not like Ysera expected any less from her comrade. Considering the battle prowess of the three that were present, Syel was the only one missing any offensive abilities. And luckily she was the only one not yet confronted by anyone. Her spells were all supportive in nature.
Ignoring the dying Knight, there were still four foes where one was debatable. Considering he was the one holding on the captive, Ysera pondered whether she should start focusing attacks on him. Considering the positioning of the group, Ysera straightened her wings and suddenly flew up over the thief that was standing his ground.
Placing herself in the air between the Thief and the Red Mage, she hoped to take also the Monk into account. This was in case the Monk would back away from Dieter, the area she was concentrating on was a large circular area as her wings started to glow a bright light before the light started to flow around her into an orb-like fashion. She held her bow up before unleashing an arrow up into the sky. The arrow split into many lights that started to shower down from above. Upon hitting the orb around Ysera, the orb exploded as it covered a large field around her where the lights turned greenish as they rained down towards the Thief, Red Mage, and hopefully the Monk.
Ysera had used her Quickening, Glance of Skyfall to try and hit the three targets at the same time. The attack would deal a good amount of damage as well as affect them with the status of Weakened. During this time, they would take more damage than usual as well as decreasing their attack power. It seemed like a good idea to her to weaken several of the group at once and get through this fight a bit quicker.
After the rain was over, Ysera would slowly float down back to the ground. The summons she had called upon were floating outside the field while the Sylph used another Aero at the Thief, hoping to knock him further back. Raiden, instead, was floating a distamce away and aimed for the Red Mage in order to try and keep him silenced. He sent out a lightning strike towards the mage using Silent Storm. If hit, it would cause both damage as well as the status Silence. | Abilities Used Glance of Skyfall: Ysera flies up and spreads her wings as swirls of energy floats around her in an orb-like fashion. Raising her bow up, she shoots upward into the sky. The arrow splits into many lights that fall down as the orb around Ysera explodes to create a field in a large area around Ysera. All the lights fall into this field that hangs in the air, causing the lights to turn more greenish and shoot down even faster than before. Anyone hit by the rain of lights are damaged and affected by Weakened for two post rounds. This status effect causes the affected to take more damage from further attacks and decreases their attack power (both around 1.4 times the normal power). Quickenings are Limit Breaks from Ivalice. Using a Quickening will cause the need to charge Mist again. So will give a debuff named Mist Charge that lasts for five posts. While this debuff is active, Ysera cannot use any Quickenings.
Summon Abilities Used Aero: Sylph can send out a wind that cuts the opponent (it’s visible). A very weak attack and Sylph’s only way of attacking its enemies. No cooldown. Silent Storm: Raiden's only form of attacking, thus causing his to prefer staying away from enemies while it charges back to be used again. Raiden doesn't like cooldowns all that much... Ahum... but the attack: Raiden attacks with lightning that deals damage as well as silencing the opponent. For a measly one post round. After that this attack goes on a two post cooldown and he floats about once more. Ysera doesn't like Raiden too much for this. | Active Raiden: 6 HP Sylph: 3 HP Weakened on the Thief, Red Mage, and maybe Monk: If hit; Two posts. Silence on the Red Mage: If hit; One post. Mist Charge: Five posts.
Cooldowns Vitals Shot: Ended. Sidewinder: Ended. Silent Storm of Raiden: Two posts.

And this seemed the most logical, the Red Mage can still dodge, of course. Or someone can remove all the debuffs he’s getting. xD | |

D rake was not all that impressive. He had no real skill to be completely blunt. He had a sword mostly for protection for his business, but he usually relied on others for safety. It was a good thing in this case, it gave Cass the advantage she needed. The man flinched at the pain from her attack, but it only seemed to make Drake's grip tighter as well as piss the man off. But she would get away from him one way or another. Even if she had to hold out long enough for one of this small clan to step in and assist her with him. The monk was about to prove why he was the leader of this clan. He was strong and intelligent. He was not going to let three rouge people disrupt his clan anymore than they already had. Though, he was questioning their abilities now. He felt a small sigh escape his lips as he watched his ability practically bounce off the protect that was keeping the Dark Knight safe. So, that had been a waste of energy. However, it gave him a moment to try and save his closest comrade who'd fainted from the pain. The monk closed his eyes in prayer and casted Revive on his Knight. But, that was all he could get off before the enemy used his regen and coated his blade. But, did not attack. The monk was going to take this change to also help his mage, casting Purification to remove any and all status effects on his mage. That way, it'd be able to remove the fire vulnerability. That's when he saw the attack coming his way. He wasn't close enough to get the first strike nor could he get close enough to counter it. He'd have to get up close and personal. He braced himself, digging his heel into the ground and crossed his arms defensively. He felt the hit and the energy drain from him. But, he instantly reacted with his Chakra ability, healing his HP and MP. The monk took a breath as he listened to the enemy. "She's not part of the clan...and to be completely honest, its truly not any of your business. Not that you seem to believe anything anyone says." he expressed. The knight had regained consciousness, arm healing, but not fixing the fact he was still missing the body part. He moved off and away from the Dark Knight, retreating back out of the way to handle the issues with his missing limb. But the Monk stood his ground, fists up and defensive as he watched the Dark Knight. He was ready for this battle. Luckily, he was out of the range of the quickening. The thief was completely useless as he managed to deter some damage from the first attack with his ability. But, he was still blind. He was unprepared when hit with the arrows from the quickening. It made him fall to his knee. But, he was not out yet. He decided to make an attempt at hitting the closest summon to him, unaware they were summons. But, was hit by an aero instead, knocking him back as intended. The thief did not manage to do anything but get damaged more. The red mage felt the silence end just after being hit by Ysera's quickening... and it was a relief. He felt useless without his magic, essentially because he was. He decided to fit as much magic in as he could as he was drenched in Oil. It was not looking very good. That meant he did not want to use any fire magic just to be safe. He raised his arms and cast Barrier on the Monk, knowing he was about to face a rather tough opponent. Then followed it up with a Doublecast of Cure on the Knight that had retreated to their flank after being revived. He honestly didn't look very good. That's when he was hit with Silence again. It was quite frustrating. That is, until he felt the Monk's esuna type magic, curing him of all status effects. Though, he didn't know if the Weakening would also be cured or not. But at least he wasn't susceptible to fire anymore or silence. Drake, on the other hand, was also silenced by Syel. That was quite interesting. He hadn't even done anything. But, it meant he could say anything either. It was a perk for Cass at least. She didn't have to hear him. What Cass needed was for someone to get one good hit on Drake so she could get away and retreat back to support the clan that was helping her. She fought to try and turn Drake to give someone an opening to hit him with anything. But, she knew they were busy fighting the others.

| Dieter’s teeth ground against one another in unvoiced frustration, troubled by the fact he hadn’t been swift enough to cut off the Monk’s attempts to aid his comrades – just a handful of seconds too slow. The Archdaemon’s taunt jaw muscles visibly slackened as he’d felt his blade bit deep, rending the anterior portion of the Monk’s forearm. A practiced roll of is wrist dislodged his blade while producing a satisfying sucking noise. Before he could inspect his handiwork, he’d noted the faint light emanating from the Monk – any wound he’d dealt repaired itself in a matter of seconds. His grip tightened around the hilt of his blade, the color blanching from his knuckles as he’d felt his blood boil within his veins.
“Be that as it may, I refuse to stand idle.”
He’d retorted as he’d plunged his blade into the ground, his hands overlapping over one another as he’d directed his attention solely to his opponent. His lips gradually curved upwards, the playful smirk transforming into something that was scarcely human – not this was the smile of a monster. His lips moved rapidly in silent chant, the very air around them stirred by his antics. Dieter’s stormy eyes opened, their depths brimming with an amaranthine light that soon began to slid along the length of his body. It transformed from a simple membrane into a roaring inferno that danced along his body, threatening to consume anything and everything about him. Dieter let it burn away his vitality until it’d left him just on the brink of critical condition.
In that same instance, those flame exploded outwards, burning away the earth surrounding him. This was the very reason people feared Dark Knights , their rumored ability Unholy Sacrifice . Sure, the Barrier cast by the Red Mage would mitigate a fraction of the damage, yet it couldn’t protect him forever. Dieter smiled, his right hand raising from the hilt of his blade as he’d activated his second attack, Fire . Its’ presence was concealed by the very flames that danced around his silhouette until it fired off at Drake’s exposed back. Dieter didn’t hesitate to wrench his blade free, stumbling back a step or two, knowing that his Regen would mitigate a very small fraction of the damage he’d dealt to himself – he’d need to rely on his comrades

It dawned to Syel that she was largely ignored during this entire mess. Not only that, but the Oil was even removed quickly after she applied for it. Considering the fact nobody seemed to pay attention to her all that much, the vipers started to circle the battlefield. Her hammer was ready in her hand as she moved towards Drake as a target. All of her spells were supportive, she had nothing for offense outside a single one thing: a large hammer in her hand to smack whomever crossed her onto their heads.
Taking notice of the battlefield, the knight and the monk were still facing Dieter, but Dieter was buffed considerably. While moving, she noted that Dieter was attacking both the Monk and surprisingly enough Drake with a fire spell. She took a moment to halt and cast a Cure at Dieter. While he had Regen active, this would speed up some of the healing. Then she continued her way to Drake unless someone did come at her.
From her viewpoint, she noted that Ysera had placed herself between the thief and red mage. The thief was being fairly useless as he had been reduced to a plaything for the summon of Ysera while Ysera was handling herself quite well thus far from Syel's perspective. So no need for her thus far to help there, neither with Ysera or her summons.
