Cassialyn is extremely hot-headed, reckless, sarcastic, melodramatic, and is easily fascinated by practically anything she might deem interesting in that moment. These things could range from a new outfit to someone's dinner. She prefers traditional and familiar experiences to new ones. However, with the lifestyle she has chosen, she is forced to get over this. She is rather reliable, well organized, and self-disciplined. These traits were learned from a young age in her family. Cassialyn is also extremely outgoing, social, energetic, and talkative. Sometimes she gets herself into trouble by expressing her views a bit heavily and not backing down. The younger girl also finds it easy to criticize others, sometimes being very critical, rude, and harsh.

Cassialyn deals with things according to how she feels about them in that given moment and being center of attention. She enjoys relishing in the excitement and drama in people's lives. Another skill she has is that she can read people well. Cassy is a spontaneous and optimistic individual. However, negative thoughts in her life do not sit well with her. Cassy also places more importance on her immediate feelings and gratification than on her duties and obligations. She even avoids looking at long-term consequences of her actions, such as running away from her fiancé.

Cassy has a well-developed appreciation for beauty such as the finer things in life. She has a tremendous love for life and knows how to have fun. She can be extremely flexible, spontaneous, and adaptable as well. This is what has kept her alive for so long. However, be sure not to cross her. Due to her fiery temper, she is likely to make a very strong and stubborn judgment against the person who crossed her. Cassy is capable of deep dislike in such a situation.

Cassialyn was born into a rather typical upper-class family in Archades. From a very early age, she was taught proper eticit as well as many of the arts. Her schooling began as a private tutoring for the first few years of her life. However, one afternoon the younger girl decided she wanted to go into an actual school. It took a while for her to manage to convince her father to enroll her into a public school, but with a continuing tutor and more music classes, she was allowed.

Cassy was well loved and adored in her public school and she continued in the school for a few years until she was around eleven. After being caught helping a fellow schoolmate after a brutal fight, she was shunned. This classmate was not a human and the children in the school frowned upon speaking to the creature. This set her into an almost extreme depression forcing her to start to rely more on her tutoring. After a few years, she completely left the school and continued her schooling from home.

The younger sister constantly worked to do better and understand things. Yet, she always had a harder time learning. Cassialyn had always learned best by doing it herself first. In her dance classes, she learned best by dancing alongside the instructor as he taught. Therefore, because of this she always did better in her dance classes than her sister had. Her grades and intellect were at a higher level than her sister and brother as well. However, this would end up being a bad thing to her father.

At her eightieth birthday, her father took her aside and explained that she would need to marry someone he chose in order for her to be of any use to the family. Being the charming girl that she was, she agreed with a smile and told him that when she finished her schooling, she would marry him. To this, her father agreed. However, it was not long before he noticed that she had made plans to continue her schooling for the next few years and on her twenty-first birthday, he demanded that she marry her fiancé, Drake Vi Hulbert.

The two had never really gotten along. He was like a snake trying to coil around you and lock you in place. She, however, had no plans to settle into his death grip and marry the man as her mother had done. Instead, that night she packed up what she thought she would need and left, going under the guise of a dancer. For the next few years, she stumbled in and out of different clans to earn money to stay alive. The moving also helped keep herself hidden from her father's all-seeing eyes.

On one of her final mission with the Redwing's clan in a simple grassland, she encountered a black monster with brilliant yellow eyes. However, she was quickly overpowered. When she awoke, she found herself sitting smack of a mountain in the Land of Dragons.

"What did you say!? Do you want a piece of me!?"

"You won't be acting so smug when my friend arrives!”

"Would you really want to hurt someone as cute and innocent as me?"

"Slow down and dance with me."

“What do you mean we’ve been going the wrong way! Ugh! I am going to kill you!”

“Aw! It’s so cute!! Look at it! Isn’t it something you could just stare at all day?”

Awaking in a strange area was not something you wanted to do, ever. The region she was in was covered in snow and rather high up. At first, she was not sure where she was. It was nice and warm before those shadows knocked her unconscious. So, how was it possible that it was suddenly freezing outside? The younger girl did not know how it was feasible.

With a shiver, she crossed her arms over her chest and attempted to warm up a bit. In her clothing, it was rather easy to catch a chill. Especially when surrounded by a mountain full of snow. With bright blue lips, her eyes scanned for a nearby village to hide and warm up. Yet, there was nothing in sight. Well, what was she supposed to do now!

Therefore, Cassialynn sighed and started her decent down the mountain. The trek was long and cold until something halted her path. With a surprised squeak, she jumped at the sight of those same black shadows with their bright and beady eyes. They had literally appeared out of nowhere and the poor girl did not understand how it was even possible. On this mountaintop, Cassy should have easily been able to see their arrival. Well, this day seemed to get better and better. “OH! You’ll get your payback for you leaving me in the middle of the snow! Jerks!” With the hot headed remark, a bit of color returned to her face before she took off running. There was no way she could take them on in her condition. She would need to warm up before that would happen. She decided to live to fight another day.
