Ysera

Bow: Ysera's regular bow, simple in design.

Frost Bow: After protecting a workshop, Ysera was gifted with an 'Odd Snowball'. The mildly enchanted snow was used to craft an enchanted bow that deals ice elemental damage, adding the ice element to all of Ysera's attacks when using the bow. Also has a low chance on freezing the opponent as a passive ability, above 90 on a d100 roll.

Ring of Pacts
A ring that Ysera wears around her left hand's middle finger. Using pieces of Auracite, she can form pacts with new Espers. With the ring she can summon these summons onto battle and have them battle alongside her. The ring is a small golden artifact with many small nodes where the pieces of Auracite are inserted into.

• Water Summons

  
  Shivan: Rank I Ranged Water Esper. Has 3 HP and a cooldown of two posts. She’s actually of the Ice-type, the daughter of Shiva. She’s weak to Fire-type attacks while resistant to Water-/Ice-type attacks. She is summoned alone. Her standard attack is sending a pellet of ice at her opponent.

  • Blizzard: Shivan fires a shard of ice at the opponent. The shard is fired in a straight line and deals weak ice-type damage. One post cooldown.
  • Blizzara: Shivan fires a shard of ice at the opponent. The shard itself bursts in multiple shards while traveling in a straight line and deals medium ice-type damage. Two posts cooldown.

  • Absolute Zero: Shivan causes one target to freeze completely in place for one post, the target is completely frozen that turn and cannot perform any actions. Five post cooldown.

  • Ice Spikes: Shivan enchants all allies nearby with ice for three posts. Any attacks done upon the enchanted allies will be hurt by low ice-elemental damage. Four post cooldown.

• Non-Elemental Summons

  
  Sylph: Rank I Ranged Non-Elemental Esper. Has 3 HP and a cooldown of two posts. A sylvan spirit that uses Air-type attacks. They’re usually found in groups, but this one is summoned alone. Her standard attack sends out a visible wind strike.

  • Aero: Sylph can send out a blade of wind that cuts the opponent (it’s visible). The wind blade deals weak wind-type damage. One post cooldown.
  • Aera: Sylph can send out two wind blades in cross-shape that follows and can cut into the opponent. The wind blades deals medium wind-type damage. Two post cooldown.

  • Whispering Wind (Type O): Sylph causes a greenish wind to blur over the field that heals allies for moderate damage and lowers their cooldowns by one post. Once per thread.

• Thunder Summons

  
  Raiden: Rank II Flying Thunder Esper. Ramuh's pupil, having 6 HP and a cooldown of four posts, he's weak to Earth-type attacks while resistant to Thunder-type attacks. He's about on his own, usually floating around the battlefield and trying to stay away from opponents and can strike enemies with his staff.

  • Silent Storm: Raiden attacks with lightning that fires from the sky above the enemy, striking downward. The attack deals weak lightning damage as well as silencing the opponent for a single post round. After that this attack goes on a two post cooldown.
  • Thunder: Raiden sends out a lightning strike from his staff at his opponent. The attack deals weak lightning-type damage. One post cooldown.

  • Quick: Raiden allows a temporary distortion in time for one target. Allowing this target to perform two actions together as one action (a type of dualcast). The target cannot use this for a dualcast or a limit break. Three post cooldown.

• Fire Summons

  
  Lamia: Rank II Ranged Fire Esper. Lulling victims with song, Lamia has 6 HP and a cooldown of four posts, she's weak to Water-type attacks while resistant to Fire-type attacks. She's summoned alone. Her standard attack is firing small fire balls.

  • Fire: This is a small fireball a little bigger than her standard attack that does a little damage. One post cooldown.
  • Entice: Lulling an opponent, Lamia brings this person into Confusion, making it possible for that opponent to also attack his/her allies for one post round. Three post cooldown.

  • Poison Frog: Lamia exhales a purple fog that turns anyone in it into a frog and poisons them. Poison lasts for three posts and Frog lasts for two posts. Anyone turned into a Frog can still perform simple melee attacks, but not use any abilities. Weapons and clothing are gone for the duration. Poison deals damage over multiple turns. Five post cooldown.

Trapping
Hunter skills that requires Ysera to wield a bow, these physical skills are used to stalk and hunt down the Hunter's foes. All of these are physical abilities that require no magick.

• Advice: Ysera grants an ally a status effect that allows for his/her next attack to be stronger than normal. Two post active (but ends immediately when the afflicted ally attacks) and two post cooldown.
  
  
• Vitals Shot: Ysera creates a special enhanced arrow that isn't solid and, thus, does no damage when hitting someone with it. Instead it causes a status effect upon those she hits with it for one post. When hitting someone in the legs, this effect will be immobilize, meaning the person cannot move for the duration. He can still fight from the spot he's on, but he's unable to leave that specific spot. When hitting someone in the arms, this effect will be disable, meaning the person cannot attack with his arms nor with any weapon or magic. In short, he's unable to make any offensive actions, but can still move around. When hitting someone in the torso, this effect will be silence, meaning the person cannot attack with any magic spells nor cast spells the remainder of the duration. When hitting someone in the head, this effect will be blind, meaning the person cannot hit anything with physical attacks, so any melee attacks with or without weapons will miss, but magic attacks still work normally. Two post cooldown.
  
  
• Sidewinder: Ysera fires a glowing arrow in a random direction. This arrow tracks its target down and is hard to dodge. Its even twice as strong against lesser creatures like minor Heartless. For creatures with human thought process, the damage is normal (so for all player characters it's much like a normal arrow that has somewhat follows them instead of going in a straight line). One post cooldown.
  
  
• Hunting: Ysera uses a weaker attack in this skill. The arrow she fires is not exactly aimed to do much harm, it does half the damage of normal attacks, but the arrow will steal loot when it hits. After hitting someone with the arrow, Ysera will obtain an item she can use during this fight. Which item she gets is based on her username and the username of the one she hit with her arrow. Ysera's username is 'ysera', which is five letters. Depending how many letters are both in Ysera's username and the opponent's username, she receives an item. If her opponent is a boss NPC, then it will depend on the first word of the name (declining "The" words). So for example with the Volcanic Lord, the "username" is 'volcanic'. This ability will not be used on lesser NPC's. Summons are considered part of the summoner and, thus, Ysera will use the summoner's username rather than the summon's name. Hope that explains it all.
  • Elixer: If all five letters of 'ysera' is in the opponent's username, Ysera receives an Elixer. The elixer can be used to cure wounds of herself or an ally, but also lowers the cooldown of any cooldowns active by one.
    
  • Ether: If four letters of 'ysera' is in the opponent's username, Ysera receives an Ether. The ether can be used to lower the cooldown of any cooldowns active by one. Ysera can use it on herself or an ally.
    
  • Remedy: If three letters of 'ysera' is in the opponent's username, Ysera receives a remedy. The remedy can be used to remove any debuffs she, or the ally the remedy is given to, has.
    
  • Potion: If two letters of 'ysera' is in the opponent's username, Ysera receives a potion. The potion can be used to cure some health.
    
  • Knot of Rust: If one letter of 'ysera' is in the opponent's username, Ysera receives a knot of rust. This is a fused ball of metalworking detritus. It can be used as a thrown weapon, but has no further uses. Maybe as a doorstop...
    
  • Dark Matter: If no letter of 'ysera' is in the opponent's username, Ysera receives a vial of Dark Matter. A mysterious substance that can be thrown at enemies. Even when avoided, the Dark Matter will create a large purple blast of Darkness that causes a great amount of damage to anyone within range of the blast.
  Any items obtained through this cannot be taken with Ysera to another thread. If any items are unused, they will be gone with another thread. The items can be given to others and be used by them, but they cannot take the items with them to another thread either. Three post cooldown.
  
  
• Counter Force: Ysera fires a special arrow that inflicts 'Addle'. In short, it will make the target unable to use any skill or spell they have for one post. During this time they will be stuck to simple attacks with whatever weapon they wield, if they wield any. Two post cooldown.

• Regenerate: Ysera bestows the status Regen on herself. She can only cast it on herself, which will slowly heal her wounds and allow her to keep fighting. Stays active for four posts. After the status effect ends, this ability will be on a four post cooldown.

• Sonic Boom: Unlike other attacks, Ysera holds her hands up with golden energy and the target of this attack gets blasted with golden energy from the sky. One post cooldown.

• Oust: Ysera fires a special arrow that hits with a greater impact than her other arrows. This attack will cause a heavy knock-back when hit, also useable to create a distance between herself and her opponent if the opponent is getting too close. The arrow will set out a force upon hitting and cause some kind of shockwave hitting only the one the arrow hit, so anyone standing next to the person would be unharmed (but if you're standing behind, you could be dragged along). The shockwave should cause the one hit to be blasted away, unless they can prevent it somehow. Two post cooldown.

• Ultima Shot: Ysera fires a heavenly arrow... Whether this makes sense is up to you. =P Well, Ysera fires a special arrow, one imbued with the power of Ultima. In a bright show of light, the arrow functions quite like the spell Ultima, causing a large blast upon the one hit with the arrow and causing a show of blue lights. The attack causes a great deal of damage. Four post cooldown.

Sky Piracy
Ysera seen some other archers during her time as a Sky Pirate and thought to make these abilities her own. Training more in these technicks, she slowly adapted these abilities into her own. None of these require magick and are all physical technicks.

• Shadowbind: Firing an arrow at her opponent, Ysera binds them to their location. The arrow doesn't do any damage, but causes the effect Immobilize. For two posts they cannot move at all, but are still able to attack and use all their abilities as long as it doesn't require them to move. Four post cooldown.

• Sharpshot: Perfecting her aim, Ysera becomes capable of more precise aimed shots. For the duration all ranged attacks made by her has increased damage, making them one tier higher than before. Three post duration, four post cooldown.

• Remedy: Using knowledge of the physical being, Ysera can remedy any oddities present in one's body. Thus removing all negative status effects from a target. Three post cooldown.

• Camouflage: Ysera camouflages herself and anyone near her, this will gain the Invisible status effect. While hidden, those under this status effect cannot be targeted by physical attacks. The status effect ends when struck by a magical attack. Invisible lasts for two posts. After it ends on Ysera (either forcibly or naturally) this will go on a three post cooldown.

• Rejuvenate: Ysera channels her chi around her as she and her allies nearby her have their speed increased. The next post round for each individual, they can perform one more action than usual in that post if they wish to do so. Two post cooldown.

• Barrage: Ysera fires successive shots at her enemy in a rapid fire motion. Four shots are fired, capable of dealing massive damage. Four post cooldown.

Quickenings
The Limit Breaks of Ivalice, Ysera can perform these using Mist, the main source of magic from Ivalice. When using one, she needs to charge new Mist to be able to perform another Quickening. All of these are ultimate abilities of Ysera.

• Aura of Earthbound: Ysera fires a single black arrow that flashes once white in the trail it flies. At that flash, it splits up into four black and white arrows in a square pattern around the field. All enemies within this square is then affected by Gravity for one single round. They will be unable to jump or fly, all that already are flying or in the air will be pulled to the ground. In case of greater heights, they will gain falling damage. The square will lid up as a grey pillar for a single moment to show what area is affected by the spell. Quickenings are Limit Breaks from Ivalice. Using a Quickening will cause the need to charge Mist again. So will give a debuff named Mist Charge that lasts for five posts. While this debuff is active, Ysera cannot use any Quickenings.
  
  
• Wings of Everlast: Ysera takes up her bow while spreading her wings. Her wings give off a pale light that suddenly gather in the palm of her hand that she opens behind the bow. From her palm, an arrow is created of the pale light on her bow. The arrow is released and starts to extend into more of a cone of pale light as it travels up into the sky. As the cone goes back down, it grows/breaks down into many arrows of pale light that bombards the location she aimed at. The scale of the attack is 10 meters or 30 feet and can hit multiple targets. Quickenings are Limit Breaks from Ivalice. Using a Quickening will cause the need to charge Mist again. So will give a debuff named Mist Charge that lasts for five posts. While this debuff is active, Ysera cannot use any Quickenings.
  
  
• Glance of Skyfall: Ysera flies up and spreads her wings as swirls of energy floats around her in an orb-like fashion. Raising her bow up, she shoots upward into the sky. The arrow splits into many lights that fall down as the orb around Ysera explodes to create a field in a large area around Ysera. All the lights fall into this field that hangs in the air, causing the lights to turn more greenish and shoot down even faster than before. Anyone hit by the rain of lights are damaged and affected by Weakened for two post rounds. This status effect causes the affected to take more damage from further attacks and decreases their attack power (both around 1.4 times the normal power). Quickenings are Limit Breaks from Ivalice. Using a Quickening will cause the need to charge Mist again. So will give a debuff named Mist Charge that lasts for five posts. While this debuff is active, Ysera cannot use any Quickenings.
