Of The Month Nominations [Mar 2018]

Read this carefully. The Member of the Month Nominations allow any member of the site to nominate any other member of the site to be MotM. To nominate someone you need to send a message to Admin with an account name and a reason why they should be nominated. You may not nominate yourself. You may post the nomination in this thread if you don't want to keep it a secret.

You should also go and read some threads to pick one you would like to nominate as the "Thread of the Month". It has the same rules at MotM. So, I hope you can find a few interesting threads to show us!

Member of the Month

Leon - Alright, so first and foremost, Leon is not only a phenomenal rper, but they are also an amazing person OOC ( Can’t count how many times I’d vented to them about my person issues and they’d genuinely listened). Aside from that, I’ve managed to have several ongoing threads, most of which touch on some very deep topics. Plus, I believe that they truly embrace their character that they’d set out and claimed. Finally, I genuinely am in love with my thread with Kuja just because of the raw emotion ( it permitted me to show Dieter’s softer sides)

Salxemn - Okay so BW3 is a canon character that I never expected to see in the RPG World, however, Salxem’s take on them gave them an emotional depth that I didn’t imagine. I like how they capture its’ arrogance and its’ belief that is truly superior to everyone – the rude awakening its’ gotten so far are quite amusing as well

Flakskander - Alright so Oswald and Munnie are two very interesting characters, we have Mickey Mouse’s predecessor and a time-warped Moogle Keyblader. How can’t one just fall in love with either of the two, especially when you realize that Munnie isn’t entirely evil – she is just very very disturbed ( what else can you expect from someone who has known nothingness for perceivable eons)

Rikkity - So Rikkity, despite not having actually threaded with her. Her cat-like antics with Namine are enough to make smile after I’ve had a really crappy day. I also think that she genuinely strives to make everyone feel welcomed on the site – something I aspire to do despite my disgruntled nature.

Lana/Larxy - Lana is an exceptionally hard worker and very good person despite bullying people into being Turks who really should be recognized for keeping this site running so that all of us plebs can RP and have fun despite not knowing that beavers definitely are not moogles.

Tapir - His broad, rich vocabulary and his ability to articulate Roxas's complexity are unquestionable strengths that have me falling for his every post. I look forward to reading his enchanting work in everyone of his post.

Dungeon - I'm a slight bit biased because of how wonderfully kind and welcoming he's been to my good buddy Tapir, but it's more than that! Dungeon has been incredibly easy going and agreeable and very interested in plotting which is essential when you're daring enough to pick up the most pivotal canon in the entire Kingdom Hearts series. Oh and a major plus for a Sora, he's very active in posting as well!

Thread of the Month

Save today - An extremely interesting thread, especially if one only knows Black Waltz 3 from his home game. It's a fresh take on a character that really didn't get much development in FFIX and I feel it's extremely well done. Both Rina and BW3 are at their best here. And I'm definitely not saying all these cliche critic things to ignore the Feels.

Getting the Gang Back Together - I enjoy the interactions between these classic villains, their interplay of self-aggrandizing pettiness is fun to read. It's also fun to get a peek at the evil plotting behind the curtain. The ominous air makes the reader want to see what comes next

Shattered Gnosia - This thread is beautifully written capturing all that lovely crypticness that the stained glass scenes in Kingdom Hearts games often do. These two have turned a few very lightly and poorly explained canon occurrences into something exquisite to read.
