Child Heartless

You'll Always Be In My Heart

Heartless Haven emerged from the ground and stared at the people before him. They were two men, one thin with brown hair which covered one eye and the other eye looked very sleepy. He didn't seem much of a fighter. The other man was muscular with many scars covering his body and head. The two men wore a light grey pants. The thin man wore a same light grey jacket. There were broken chains on their arms. Two prisoners. Or escaped ones as the area was a desert around them. The two men looked surprised and shocked at him and his fellow Heartless. They were with six Shadows, four Bandits and one Fat Bandit. After all their travels, Henk knew they were in Agrabah. The desert. The two prisoners were sweating and probably had been walking for a long time.

"What are these?" The muscular one yelled at his comrad. "How... how should I k-know?" The thin one was shivering. He seemed to be very scared. Henk could sense the darkness in their hearts. "Why d-did you e-e-ever g-go through t-that black t-thing?" The thin one asked. "Because we're now out of prison, aren't we?" The muscular one held up a rusty axe. It seemed they used it to break their chains. Henk thought they found it in the desert somehow. "Don't worry, we'll beat these guys up quickly and leave." The thin one started to scream and jumped away when one of the Bandits attacked with his blade. "We're in a stinking desert! How can we ever leave?" The thin one was crying.

The muscular guy jumped at the Fat Bandit. "I'll take out the biggest first!" But the rusty axe boucned off the Fat Bandit. The Fat Bandit spit out fire and the muscular man got roasted. "Arrgh!!" He started to scream as he was on fire, dropping the axe and rolling on the floor. A Bandit slayed him with his sword. The thin one got killed by three of the Shadows. Henk had only moved through the ground and hadn't killed anyone. It made him a little sad. Then the group disappeared, leaving the desert in a black smokey portal they used to travel around. Again two new hearts had been collected and two new Heartless had emerged.

Snow White stepped out of a portal. “Oh...” Why did I walk through that horrible place? She slowly took a look around her and saw everything was wasteland. She blinked and suddenly felt that her body had changed as well. She pulled up a hand, but saw a wing instead. “W-what?” She looked at her body and it appeared to be the body of a bird.

Snow White tried to look around her body, seeing what kind of bird she was, but she couldn’t figure out. “Oh... Well, this is quite... interesting?” She was very confused about this, but then smiled a little. She started to try and flap her wings to fly, but the flying didn’t go well. “Oh... I should look for someone. How did this happen? Did my stepmother do this to me? Or did it just appear with the darkness?”

Snow White started to walk on her legs over the wasteland in search for other people, but suddenly a lion appeared, Snow White jumped and flapped in a strange manner around. The lion suddenly laughed. “Well, I can see you’re not from here. Another one from a different world? I’m Simba.” Snow White blinked. “Oh... So that happened, I’m sorry, do you know the way out.” Simba blinked and looked around him. “Maybe...”

Alice walked through the Lotus Forest. ”Oh, I got lost again.” She looked around if the cat was around, but soon figured out that was pointless. ”Cat? Are you there?” She walked slowly around further and suddenly noticed the open place in the grass and the Queen’s Court.

Alice came out of the grass and looked around at the Queen’s Court, but suddenly got snapped by the Card Soldiers. The Card Soldiers carried her to face the queen and the court session started. Alice blinked as she looked around her. The queen rose and screamed: ”Off with her head!” Alice blinked. ”Oh, nonsense, we already had this.” She turned and jumped out, the Card Soldiers then ran after her and Alice jumped back into the Lotus Forest.

Alice came back in the Lotus Forest, the Card Soldiers didn’t follow her, but waited at the other side. Alice kept walking, still looking around if the Cheshire Cat was anywhere, she soon came at the Tea Party Garden, but didn’t saw Mad Hatter nor anyone else. She walked slowly through and entered the door.

Alice came then on the ceiling of the Bizarre Room. ”Oh, how do I get back there?” She asked looking up. She walked over the ceiling and noticed a hole. She walked fast towards it and climbed through.

Alice came back at the Queen’s Court, but was this time much higher and wasn’t seen by the queen or the cards, which seemed to be searching for her. Alice slowly climbed down without making a sound and went into the White Rabbit’s house.

In the darkness, a seemingly young woman moved around, looking scared around her. There was nothing to see, she wondered if there was any way to make light, but without anything to make it with was impossible.

The woman, who was actually a puppet named Suly, moved slowly and with much hesitation. She was lost.

“H-help?”

There was still no answer. Only her voice made a sound, her feet moved soundless over the darkness, she didn’t even knew if there was a hole right in front of her. She placed her feet slowly and carefully down. As she called out, she secretly hoped for no replies, or only Nis replying.

“Where i-is this?”

Suly still didn’t want to stay there. There was nothing there, but the darkness. She was afraid of this huge black area, where nothing could be seen. She might live within the night, but she still preferred light.

"Pathetic," a voice said from underneath the mask. Walking through the Darkness, Vanitas wondered whether he was talking about Ventus or himself right now. He had accomplished it all. The χ-blade was in his grasp, everything Master Xehanort had said came to fruitation. And then he lost it all. Did he strengthen Ventus too much? Cannot be, the thought was followed by a low growl from the person himself.

Vanitas continued to walk forward as he continued his train of thought. Pain felt through his body, but he tried to ignore it. His rage seemed to seep out of him as an Unversed appeared beside him. More would naturally appear, but right now he didn't understand where it all went wrong. Perhaps he hadn't focused well enough to strengthen himself? No, no, no, he was perfect, he was unbeatable, no matter what happened. The Unversed would flood back into him every time, his emotions would strengthen him constantly, there was no way. "Even then, the χ-blade was forged from our heart united," Vanitas said as he came to a halt, "if it's gone, we should be gone. If I am here, he should be there."

Hope? It appeared to be the case. There was still hope for this plan to come to fruitation. Unless the master had other plans? Or was another plan already in motion? I need to know, that thought overruled all others as Vanitas came back into motion. However, this time he no longer aimed to find Ventus. Instead he needed to find Master Xehanort, find out what was going on... and what the current direction was. He needed to understand the present before he could face the past.

Alhanalem looked around himself. A castle stood before him quietly, many thorns covering it. Pondering where this was or how he got there was of no use. “I should find the ruler regal,” he told himself, hoping this castle had some kind of royalty. Looking behind himself, the bridge back to the forest was covered in thorns and it didn't look very pleasant either. “Is this place even governmental? Or is my situation simply critical?” Shaking his head, he didn't like it.

Turning back to the castle, it seemed somewhat in fallen state, “no, this is not good in any way conditional,” he sighed and walked towards the entrance. Pushing open the door, the scholar looked inside and watched the large chamber. Nobody at all, he started to assume this was simply a ghost castle. At least he had to find any monsters as of yet. Then he pushed the door further open and simply walked in without a second word as he looked through the dark chamber.

Walking further towards the center of the room, he took in his surroundings. Should he loud his presence? “Like any capricious forces would be reliable,” Alhanalem didn't like to find it out the hard way. “best to explore further, my entrance may be ilegal and immoral, but it is logical when this place bears such a visual.” Seeing how run-down the castle was. He continued inside and figured he could apologize later if someone truly did live there.

"Are you by chance headed to nearby the bars?" The lady asked, seemingly sizing her up. As Ysera had cloaked herself and still had her bow on her back, she wondered if the lady had seen her for either a mercenary or something. "I need someone to deliver this to a certain Marcus, look for the most run-down place and ask the people outside. They'll direct you to him," she said and Ysera took the package that the lady pulled out.

Not long after, she was walking alone on the road and wondering why she was accepting a delivery job. Ah well, she looked around as she continued her way to some rundown place. Probably more a bandit shack rather than a bar, she thought to herself, looking rather bored over the building before giving the first man she found at the door a shove. "Looking for Marcus," she said while holding up the package, as said she was told to go in some random directions as she moved through the building.

There seemed to be something happening as she wandered through the people and found her way to this 'Marcus'. After delivering, she was on her way out when a loud laughter made her raise her eyebrow. Sand dragon? She pushed her way through the crowd as she worked her way to the laughter and some boy sitting there. Sizing him up, she figured she could make something out of this.

"Want to take a bet?" She asked calm of the bandit leader as she came to the table, "if this boy and myself can take down this Sand Dragon, you could maybe double the gold. Or we pay you the amount of gold." A light smile flashed on her face as she proposed this.
