◄ HAVEN'T YOU HEARD WHAT BECOMES OF CURIOUS MINDS? Seeing through the field with all the winds made it a bit harder to see the other side, but Crowe did keep tabs on the other two fighters as she focused on taking down Alma. It seemed that Ramza was fully capable of keeping up Lea, so that was a good thing. Her own spell hit Alma in full, which seemed like improvement as the field had gone down as well.
Moving now further in before noting that she had taken this instant to place the field this time elsewhere. The girl herself had gotten up and came towards Crowe. With a smile, the Glaive moved in and held out her dagger to block the incoming and tried to move the staff to the side while she moved herself out of the way to evade the attack while she was still boosted by the Tailwind. "Up and running are you," she said as she quickly stepped forward and with the other foot she launched a swift kick towards Alma's torso. Her free arm was moved back as she focused magic into it, spheres of storm and cold circled her arm as she used Dual Black Magic. Launching both Aeroga and Blizzaga as a single attack, the two orbs were launched at Alma in the hopes to send her hurling into the distance. They would explode in slicing winds and chilling cold upon impact. Still, Crowe would move after the girl and continue her assault. Right now she had the girl close and that meant she could finish her mission of taking her down right in this tournament.
Actions 1. Intercepted the staff strike with her dagger. 2. Took the chance to deliver a kick towards Alma's torso. 3. Used Dual Black Magic to fire both Aeroga and Blizzaga as a single action at Alma.

All the while that Lea was weaving in and out, creating and moving the fray to where he decided it would go, this Ramza guy was yelling to his partner about not letting her interfere. Wait. They were trying to get him away from Alma...and they'd succeeded. Oops. It was fine. He'd get back to her real quick, right after his attack. Tch. So the blonde knight could dance could he? He roared back his own namesake after Lea's taunts by firelight and that he was Alma's brother apparently? Lea found himself glancing at his partner in confusion but he let it go. If they were siblings that was their problem to figure out. Fine. Whatever. The blonde dude dodged his fire columns. There was waaaaay more fire where that came from. "Yeah. So honored to meet you. Don't worry if that seemed a little cold yet. I'M just getting warmed up!" embers crackled in a flashy warning over his hair and skin. Lea tended to radiate when he was getting irritated.
That irritation went from 'pfft' to 'AHH!' like the hairpulling sort in a matter of moments when the biggest ball of sparky lightning he'd ever seen slammed into his squishy robed fighting partner and it surged vicously through her, violently shaking her limbs. She slumped and Lea started forward a bit wide eyed. "Alma!?" It wasn't that he wasn't confident that he could handle this himself if he absolutely had to...but his partner was a mage! Wasn't she? She should've been able to survive a hit like that...and if she couldn't...what the heck was she doing center stage in a fighting tournament!?
A white light was cast over Alma and slowly but surely she got to her feet. For a moment there things looked really bad, but not now they just sort of looked not so good. Out of desire for retaliation or sheer insanity, Alma with what looked like a glowing spearhead went tearing after the other fighter, Crow whom Lea was still not a hundred percent sure was male or female. "ALMA!? Are you CRAZY?" he hollered out at his partner in frustration and confusion just as the fighter expertly and pretty freakin predictably dodged the small blonde mage coming right for her. A rock thunking him square on the head, tore Lea's attention back to the knight and something in Lea's eyes just sparked. It was like someone was knocking stones together and he was just a few more sparks away from a Hellfire.
Lea certainly was prompted to move then! "You won't forget this." he warned Ramza before he steped left then he feinted right, a flash of embers showering over him in a distracting display, a Dancing Flame that left a brief imagery decoy while Lea was free to suddenly strike toward Crow from the side though he'd just been close to Ramza seconds ago! Now close enough to help defend Alma, Lea brought his Chakrams up in an Attack against this 'Crow' who up close he could more easily tell was in fact a girl. Just because Lea was in combat with her didn't mean he'd lost sight of Ramza either. He was fast enough! He'd keep them both away and in moments they wouldn't know what hit em. His face snapped to the side, his eyes fierce with a firey glow. "Back up now!" it was about the best warning he could give Alma. He only hoped she'd get a move on.

Location: Disney Town Mood: Determined Status: Mild Injuries Ramza sighed with relief when the winds harassing him finally died down, the magic dispelling as it run its course. However, Ramza realized just in time that Alma had attacked him again - damn insistent girl! This time, he didn't need Rush - with Shout still active, Ramza had more than enough reflexes to halt his advances before stepping into the trap again. However, the cursed technique had prevented him from closing in on Lea - even though Ramza managed to stop him from interfering with Alma with a rock. This, however, came with a prince; even though Ramza had his back turned to her, he could feel the air shift with the power of the spell that hit her. That had been an excellent attack, and a huge boon for their strategy. The Knight was analyzing how to better go towards Lea when the redheaded man did a feint, moving to Ramza's right. This meant he was probably trying to reunite with Alma - but Alma was behind him, wasn't she? He was also readying his chackram for some sort of melee attack - probably aimed against Crowe. Lea, in his rush to protect Alma, made a critical positioning mistake, ignoring the fact that Ramza was the one who was closer to Alma to begin with - and thus, in position to stop him. In that sense, Alma's Aeropool trap helped Ramza more than harm him, as it allowed him to move froma resting state, instead of being forced to change his trajectory mid-advance. Naturally, Lea's diminished Speed, thanks to the previously-used Triple Break, and Ramza's own increased Speed from Shout, helped immensely to allow the Beoulve to react in time. In fact, the redheaded had an outstanding mobility, and Ramza was not sure he would have been able to keep up otherwise. Regardles, he would not allow Lea to interfere in Crowe's takedown of Alma. Readying his blade, Ramza Rushed again, intercepting Lea in the middle of his advancement towards Alma and Crowe. The Knight had no time to actually realize what was going on between the two - the fact that the white mage foolishly tried to fight hand-to-hand against a trained soldier -, focusing all of his attention on Lea. As soon as he intercepte the redheaded fighter, Ramza lifted his blade horizontally, drawing power from it. "Chirijiraden!" He exclaimed, harnessing the power from his blade, the kind of technique used by the Samurais of Ivalice. A powerful blast of energy exploded, having Ramza's body as its point of origin. Chirijiraden was defense and offense wrapped up in a single skill, since few things are more capable of stopping an incoming enemy than a surprise explosion. And, with Lea moving forwards when Ramza intercepted, the laws of physics (which the Knight, naturally, had no formal knowledge of) should carry Lea into the attack, unless the man found a way to revert his momentum - which, in all honesty, he just might. He had proven himself to be a very agile bastard. Even then, Ramza would still stand between him and Alma - he would have to go through the knight if he wished to reunite with his mage friend. To his own dismay, Ramza felt his speed and strenght diminishing - Shout had ended. This meant Tailwind's effect on Crowe, too, was over. He would need to renew their effects soon, but right now, his focus was on keeping Lea at bay.
Lea's STRENGHT down (from Triple Break): 1 more turns Lea's DEFENSE down (From Triple Break): 1 more turns Lea's SPEED down (From Triple Break): 1 more turns
Triple Break's Cooldown: 3 More Turns
Summary: Ramza stopped his run towards Lea, thus not stepping into Aeropool (Action 1). He then Rushed to intercept Lea (Action 2), and used Chirijiraden to both protect himself against Lea's attack (originally destined to Crowe) and to damage him if he collided with the explosion (Action 3)
SKILLS USED
*Rush: Exactly what it says - Ramza rushes towards the enemy (Or towards any direction) with a dash. Its main asset is mobility, allowing Ramza do defy gravity for an instant. [Three uses per post, CD:0].
*Chirijiraden: Harnessing skills learned as a Samurai, Ramza draws power from his sword, creating an explosion of energy around him, which affects everything in an area of 1 meter of diameter around him. Great skill both defensively and offensively. Heavy damage [CD: 3]
[OFF-CHARACTER]: For the sake of clarity, I decided to make a map of the positioning as I understand it, from both the previous turn and this one (both positions right at the end of my turn). One thousand hours on paint later, this is what I got. Considering my move is reliant on positioning, I decided to make this as clear as possible for future rounds. IF I understood something wrong, please correct me.

...With eyes locked on the leather-clad mage, and not a word yet spoken, she sprinted forward, running at full speed with a mind set on bludgeoning. She was convinced earlier of her first conclusion, but it had been proven so terribly wrong that now it was her duty to make sure she didn't become an easy 'step one' for this other team. Thus, in those few seconds when she registered what was really going on around her, she had thought through what she'd observed so far. First note: Alma. She was the target. These people knew what white magic was, and understood her strength was supporting a teammate. Their goal was to remove her, since she lacked utility on her own. Second note: The mage. Crowe had been tasked with eliminating her, and to put all focus into that objective, even if it meant ignoring the rest of the fight to do so. Third note: The swordsman. He was an up-front soldier, who had taken it upon himself to keep everyone divided. Wherever Alma's team went, he'd be there to trip them up. Fourth note: The red one. He was a reactive person, and had repeatedly made in-the-moment decisions to defend her or distract an opponent, even if it was just what the opponent wanted. Her ally's defensiveness, the swordsman's persistence, Crowe's self-inflicted tunnel vision- She'd use them against each other. And so, she charged forward. Oh so predictably, she charged forward, giving a heavy swing from the right. It was easily blocked by Crowe's dagger, and the blade dug into the hardened wood, jamming them together for an instant, but Alma didn't stop. She had already veered to the right, tearing the crook back away as she outpaced an incoming kick. It wasn't a perfect evasion, as a toe still grazed her gut, but again she continued around, using the follow-through of the swing to spin herself and proceed past, reaching the mage's side in a short moment. She'd already utilized the first and second notes, and the shortest glance to the right as she passed confirmed that the fourth and third were also coming into play. Her teammate had come closer to try intervening, but that swordsman, Ramza, had moved in front of him- Between him and Alma. Between him and Crowe. The rest was a matter of logic. Crowe's major strength didn't seem to be melee, but magic, and she'd only shown one kind of magic thus far. It wasn't a close-range type, either. It was a projectile, and the plan depended on that being her choice once more. Just then, Alma felt it was more appropriate than ever to answer a question she'd heard shouted from her ally. "Extremely!" she called out to him. Alma held still at the mage's side just long enough to provoke the action after the kick had passed, then dove as she saw the swinging arm signalling Crowe's toss. Now moving behind the assassin, she could feel the mass of magics soaring past, not hitting her, but flying through the air toward where someone else had just moved into place. With Crowe too focused on eliminating Alma, Alma's teammate being too focused on protecting her and Ramza too focused on stopping it, none of them had thought hard enough about where a certain spell might be aiming. The only thing the young conjurer regretted about the plan was that it might hit her friend too. Alma's Party

◄ HAVEN'T YOU HEARD WHAT BECOMES OF CURIOUS MINDS? OOC NoteIm just putting this in that i am getting bit lost on this all, so going by the paint skillz.. im guessing Lea did not reach with Ramza intercepting, Alma circling around, dodging the dualcast [post follows now:]
As the girl started to move while she attempted to kick her, Crowe found her to be quite more nimble than the girl appeared. The woman had her speed increased from the Tailwind and was a fully trained soldier, so she had assumed she'd be able to catch the girl. Still, this girl kept moving as she moved to throw her magic at the white mage. By the Crystal, is she trying to make me spin in circles?Considering the other two had gotten closer, Crowe didn't like the present situation too much. The two spells she launched would be a hassle to deal with, so she focused her magic around her fully and an immense dome appeared all around her, the other fights and covered practically the entire arena. The two spells she had launched would be considerably lessened in power and as she had seen the red-haired man use fire, his abilities would be lessened too within the Wall she had cast. Having her limit break active, now all elemental powers within the dome would be lowered by three tiers in power, all non-elemental powers would be knocked down one tier, and any spell cast of the first level would be nullified completely. This also meant that the simple spells wouldn't function while within the dome and her dualcast would be lessened to weak spells that wouldn't cause much damage. At least she made it so the magic of their opponents would be immensely lessened and she had noted that Ramza used mainly physical arts. “Ramza, all magic and even physical powers are right now weakened,” she called out to the soldier as she focused her magic further and used Physical Code to enhance both Ramza and herself in both attack and defense powers. Right now their physical attack and defense would be enhanced, “your strength and defenses are now enhanced! Can you try and take one of them out?”Crowe was forced to stay in position to keep this ability active, but she held up her dagger in defense in case Alma came swinging at her again. Her strength greatly enhanced, she figured she would try and catch the first next physical attack made against her and try to hold them in place. If anything, she'd rather grapple them down to the ground than to be forced to end the Wall right now. Actions1. Used the Wall to cover the arena in a dome that weakens all elemental attacks by three tiers and all non-elemental attacks (including basic attacks) by one tier. All first level attacks do not work within the dome and would be cancelled upon entering. 2. Used Physical Code to enhance Ramza's and Crowe's physical attack & defense. 3. Left unused. ((ooc: I'm sorry for the confusion. I guess I need to word what Dancing Flame does a little better. It's supposed to be another one of those slippery moves of his. What I'll do is have it that he didn't successfully make it to Crow, but he just won't take that damage for the interception because what Ramza attacked was like a fire shadow, an instance of where it looked like he was, but he'd faked and slipped around. It's a 'dodge' for damage coming at him by basically decoying while he's attacking his actual target.))
Boy had he misjudged the distance around Ramza to get to Crow. Maybe he shoulda fainted left. It didn't matter. He wound up closer to Alma than Crow and his swipe at the lady missed. Oops. It was whatever, at least whatever painful thing it looked like Ramza had done to what was now air over there hadn't hit him. "Too slow, man!" Lea called to Ramza from where he'd traveled. In the midst of Lea's weaving, Alma had shouted her reply and his head whipped around to shoot her a look. Lea was starting to look like he was brimming with a firey energy now and it seemed to have concentrated itself in his forearms. That Crow woman however was up to something...it didn't look good at all. She stood perfectly still not pursuing him OR Alma. He could see it, this glowing fortification of some kind just climbing into a dome shape over them all. "Wha?...That can't be good." he remarked with a raised brow as he was looking up. Good thing he wasn't interested in the ceiling. "Sorry Alma." He made it appoint to add before that brimming energy was brought to the fore front and flame spun menacingly on his chakrams.
In a weaving display of his arms he brought them both down to slam to the floor. "BURN BABY!" he unleashed his excitement and a blast of fire damage (usually moderate, now light because of the wall) spread across the arena toward all who were unfortunate enough to be in that vicinity and the entire floor looked as though it were coated in a thin sheet of magma. Lea wasn't particularly phased by the heat of the floor. Regularly those without the ability to walk comfortably against fire damage would be pretty upset at how ramped up the heat was...but, not one of them seemed distressed at all. What the heck? He looked to Alma...even she didn't seemed to be bothered by the state of her feet at all. WHAT?! Bad. BAD BAD BAD. His eyes wide, Lea leapt backward once more to anticipate and Dodge the most immediate attack sent toward him.
No panicking. Not yet. He was barely even touched... he could do this all day, but Alma? He wasn't so sure. Crow. Why was that woman still planted so firmly in the same spot? His eyes narrowed in. Was she casting something that was making the floor is lava not so lava-y? "Goodbye...I hope." he barked as he threw his right chakram directly at the woman. Upon whatever it might have made contact with, a detonated explosion of flame burst (usually heavy, now moderate because of the wall) before the chakram spun and returned toward Lea's waiting grasp.

Location: Disney Town Mood: Determined Status: Light Injuries Ramza cheered internally when the man collided with Chirijiraden - and promptly noticed something was off when the man vanished on impact. It was a decoy! Curses! Ramza tried to spin in the air to track the man again, and was taken by surprise with two spells coming his way. Where them frm Alma or Crowe? He didn't had time to check; the spells collided with Chirijiraden, exploding on impact. Ramza's own attack served to cushion the impact a bit, but he was still grazed by the explosion and sent to the ground. However, he got up fast, pleased to realize the spell didn't hurt him even a fraction of what he expected, thanks to Crowe's The Wall. He nodded at the explanation, communicating that he both understood and was going to follow her command. "Will do. You too, take out the girl!" He also noticed, as he arrived to the floor, that it was a bit warmer than usual. The ground had turned into lava, and yet it bothered him little. He suspected this was something from the redheaded man, also suppressed by The Wall. Whatever, not the time to think. He felt Crowe bless him again with her boosting magic; Ramza's power was increased. And the redheaded man was gearing up to attack Crowe. This mean Crowe would probably be the target of two enemies for that moment - but this was also good, because it allowed Ramza to close in. Ramza hoped she could deal with that just for one instant; he would boost her powers in the next sequence, but right now closing in was the priority. If he could do that, and keep Lea at bay, Ramza was confident that Crowe would be at an advantage against Alma, especially now that magic power had been suppressed. The Knight hurried towards the dancing flame-weilder; Lea delivered his attack, and Ramza Threw a Stone in response and Rushed right after; the rock arrived too late to stop Lea's attack, but drew his attention back to Ramza and forced him to dodge; when he finished his evasive maneauver, Ramza would be on his face thanks to Rush. This was what Ramza wanted from the beginning. "Thou art a coward, attacking a lady like that! Fight me like a man!" Ramza blasted, delivering a quick combo of three slasing strikes against the redheaded warrior. The insult was intentional - Ramza actually understood that this was a fighting arena, and Crowe was far from a defenseless maiden. However, he needed to do what he could to make the man focus on him and leave Alma for Crowe. Lea did seem like someone impulsive and easy to piss off, and Ramza hoped to be able to capitalize on that.
Triple Break's Cooldown: 2 More Turns
Chirijiraden Cooldown: 2 More Turns
Summary: Ramza was hit by the explosions of the Dual magic on his Chirijiraden, but left with minimal damage thanks to The Wall. He used Rock Throw to harass Lea and trigger his evasive action (Action 1). He then Rushed to close in (Action 2), and delivered a quick combo of slashing strikes (Action 3), while provoking Lea
SKILLS USED
*Rush: Exactly what it says - Ramza rushes towards the enemy (Or towards any direction) with a dash. Its main asset is mobility, allowing Ramza do defy gravity for an instant. [Three uses per post, CD:0].
*Stone Throw: Ramza's only ranged option (besides Ultima) is quite lackluster - he throws rocks that he carries with him. The strenght and speed of the projectile is boosted with some minor magic and they do damage, but not much - main use is for harassing and distraction. Minimal damage. [Three uses per post, CD:0]
PASSIVE *Swordsmanship: Ramza is proficient with fighting with one and two-handed swords.
OFF-Character: I feel no Paint is necessary now. ✿ EDEL ✿

Much to Alma's satisfaction, her ally wasn't actually in as much danger as she had feared. Rather, the person she had feared for was a falsification, a convenient doppelganger that had succeeded in confusing not just her, but their mutual enemy at the same time, who was left to deal with the fallout of the baited spell on his own. Alma didn't pay attention long enough to see whether how long it kept the soldier occupied, and instead chose to trust it was 'enough' while she and her ally, who was already on his way over, dealt with the assassin. Her teammate struck first, throwing those weapons of his straight into a block, but it was already more than what the young conjurer could ask for from him. With that to shrug off and another few spells to put up or ignore, Crowe was left facing away for a few seconds- Seconds which Alma looked to capitalize on.
The first thing to do was finally use that blade of hers. She lunged forward like before, but didn't give a swing this time. Instead, she stabbed forward with her crook as a spear, thrusting its glowing shank into the mage's back. She yanked it out as the spent magic dissipated, but didn't withdraw just yet. Instead, she took it up in two hands and gave a high, hefty swing, cracking the wood knot against the back of her target's turned head. It was the only clear shot she could probably hope to get, and she refused to let it go to waste. In hindsight, such a blow might have been a bit mean, but she didn't care at the time. She wasn't driven by mercy as much as she was a combination of clinical thought and adrenaline, though she was still cautious enough to move back away... before immediately shooting off another burst of magicked wind to splash at Crowe's feet and start up a third swirling vortex of angry, whipping gusts which set upon the woman once they'd built enough speed to slash at her.
Alma hadn't quite seen whether her actions had really had an effect- Any of them -but none of it mattered all that much. She'd seen some combat already, but none of it had made her feel quite the same way all this did. Being in the middle of this kind of struggle with all these parties bending and twisting so freely around each other was intimidating at first, but once she'd gotten into the flow she found it to be not only engaging, but satisfying in a weird, violent way. If her head wasn't addled with adrenaline, she may have been put off by such feelings, but her wide eyes spoke of an immersion too strong for such concerns to be deemed important. With the diminishing magics about, she didn't even bat an eye at the condition of the floor, merely attributing the mild heat in her boots to the same cause as the burning in the rest of her body, that urged her to think through her next move and act on it once she had something to move for.

◄ HAVEN'T YOU HEARD WHAT BECOMES OF CURIOUS MINDS? It appeared this was working out, somewhat as Crowe watched her attacks do little upon Ramza. However, his opponent seemed to not be alright with this at all, especially with the floor turning hotter, but her powers seemed to largely ignore most of the heat. Lea was moving quickly and came towards her before releasing his chakram. While Crowe tried to keep her eyes focused on both foes right now, seeing she was stuck in position or bound to lose the Wall. So with the chakram coming her way, she still kept check of Alma's position while preparing to defend and possibly catch the chakram. Bringing both arms up with one containing the dagger, she used both arms to clash and catch the chakram in. Instead the chakram burst in flames, surprising her and searing her with fire. The damage was minimal, but had her surprised and opened her as another attack hit her from behind. It seemed Alma was also attacking now, she gritted her teeth, but kept standing and held onto the chakram in hopes she could keep the weapon away from the red-haired man. Leaving him with only one chakram seemed like a plan right now, it made Lea have less options. Even as it tried to spin in her arms, she had stuck the arm with the dagger through and kept it there as she tried to turn to Alma. A hit came upon her head and caused the world to spin for a moment, "ow!" Trying to regain her focus, now the strange air field was on her own location as she felt the winds slice into her. This isn't good, since Ramza was still within range, she supposed he would by chance also have some use for this as he now used Mental Code to increase both magical attack and defense, their magic and spirit would increase. This meant that both magical attacks made by them would be a tier higher and magical attacks done to them one tier lower. With the Wall also in place, it made both the lava floor and the winds beating her feel like practically nothing. Pondering whether to use it, Crowe then first checked where Ramza was and focused her magic towards him as she used Emergency Relief to heal him up to normally the second tier, but weakened by the Wall now less. A veil of light covering his body temporarily. Also any status ailments that might be present would be removed, she wanted to get him in his best condition right now. She could heal herself soon after as she right now was dealing with the Aeropool and wanting to keep the Wall active. Actions 1. Caught the chakram with both arms and holding it down. 2. Used Mental Code to increase magical attack & defense for both Ramza and Crowe. 3. Used Emergency Relief to heal Ramza equal to a Cura and removes any status ailments. Active Magic Code on Crowe: Ends this post. The Wall: Two posts. Physical Code: Two posts. Mental Code: Three posts. Cooldowns Attack Code: Ended. Spirit Code: Ended. Magic Code: One post. ”Ow! HEY!” Lea barked as a rock thunked him square on the head. His attention flared back to the blonde knight and bringing one heck of a frown to the red head’s face. Predictably, the blonde was on his way over to keep right on trying to hack him down so yeah Lea didn’t have a choice then but to hop out of the way. That didn’t stop him from that desperate chakram throw though. He managed to get the thing to detonate in Crow’s arms but it didn’t seem to hurt her near as much as it should have. Well just what in the world was this crap?! His hand still outstretched, Lea realized his chakram wasn’t coming back. ”HEY!!!” he snarled in Crow’s direction.
Fine! It was FINE! Ramza was after him again, and Lea turned his glaring gazes toward the knight. Just as a blade was slashing toward him, the Chakram Lea previously held in his hand had disappeared and in a flash of brilliant light and burning ember a keyblade took its place, held up in position to attempt to block the oncoming strikes, but he wasn’t nearly as secure in his use of the keyblade or really any sword techniques in general. They didn’t flow as easily for a dancing fighter that relied on spinning and momentum the way he did. Maybe he just hadn’t gotten the hang of it yet. What was the knight going on about? He’d managed to block the first two strikes but that last one slipped through. Oddly enough it didn’t seem to hurt nearly as much as Lea thought it was supposed to. He blinked in confusion but then got a look in his eyes like something occurred to him. ”Oh…OH I get it! You’re afraid to fight girls!?”
Lea couldn’t even help the wicked grin that spread over his face. Oh the games he could play. ”Worse, you’re trying to get another girl to do it for ya?” See, Lea was easily angered, but annoyance was definitely not the way to do it and he certainly wasn’t losing yet. Well here was hoping that the Keyblade wouldn’t let him down. Alma had already torn right off into the fray again, wielding her crook toward Crow. ”Somethin wrong?” he taunted the knight using Sizzle to once again end up fluidly like a blur right behind Ramza. From there with all the might Lea had in that lanky body of his, he bullrushed right at Ramza hoping to catch the guy off guard enough to push him…generally in the direction of where the girls were. Lea might have been lanky, but that speed wasn’t out of thin air. He was pretty wiry and pretty strong.

Location: Disney Town Mood: Determined Status: Well The redheaded man conjured a new weapon, a strange, vaguely key-shaped sword. However, it became clear that his swordmanship was not on Ramza's level; it was as if the man was still learning to use that blade. Ramza managed to land a good hit in the clash of swords. He also felt his spiritual power increasing, granting him further protection against magicks of all sorts. He also felt his injuries heal up, resulting of another spell from Crowe. Ramza was thankful for her effort, but worried that she might end up distracting herself from the struggle against Alma because of that. Regardless, he decided to return the favor, casting Tailwind on her, increasing her speed and agility. Then, he heard Lea's provocations. Ramza was no fool; he could see what the man was trying to do. "Thine accusations are ridiculous! 'Tis not adequate for a gentleman to hit a lady!" Ramza declared. He tried to attack again, but once more the man vanished out of his way. But this time, Ramza was ready. He had learned already how slippery that foe could be, and used the mommentum of the strike to spin 180º in place, turning to Lea as the man bullrushed him. 'Twas time for some good ol' wrestling. Being the smaller of three brothers, Ramza had been into many tussles throughout his early days. As he was dragged backwards by Lea, he wrapped his arms around the redhead's torso. "As I said, face me like a man!" Then, he lifted and spinned, trying to bring both men down to the floor. He would keep that lock tight, trying to restrict Lea's movements for the next round. Ramza knew that move exposed him to the man's magicks, but between Spirit Code and The Wall, Ramza would be in good shape even if he took a full-powered attack.

Triple Break's Cooldown: 1 More Turns

Alma was glad to see her attempts to strike had succeeded, and that Crowe was even looking dizzy from the blow to the head, something that would hopefully hold her back in the seconds to come. And yet, unlike what she had hoped, Crowe didn't look truly phased or wounded by it. Still she stood tall, something the young conjurer couldn't quite explain until she remembered her own abilities. If she could teach herself to make the body more resilient, what was to say someone with proper training couldn't do better? Clearly, this person had done a lot of it, thus why it was so tough to get anything done. How would anyone get anywhere if nobody could do anything? The thought of a stalemate became very real in her mind, and Alma didn't want it to end in such a way, but what could be done to shift the battle?
Then, she remembered what had gotten her in so much danger before. The other party had been trying to focus on her as a single target, and she'd abused their linear strategy once before. What was to say she couldn't do the same once again? This time, though, it wouldn't just be the same bait as before. This time, it was her turn to focus on someone, and she silently apologized to the other team's knight as she kicked off into a sprint, dashing past Crowe as she prepared another glowing blade, turning her crook into a spear for a second time. Several meters away, Ramza and the red one were in a strict grapple, rolling on the ground as each tried to get a hand over on the other. With the head turned downward, Alma took up her staff in two hands, leapt forward and came down with it as Ramza came out on top for a moment after countering the tackle. She drove it downward into his back just as she had done with Crowe before. Remembering the dizzying blow to the mage's head from before, she was tempted to try for one here, but decided against it. It would be too easy for the knight to roll aside and cause her to strike her ally, so instead she opted for caution.
She took a step back, preparing a defensive spell of her own. It would take a moment to charge, yes, but it would likely come into effect before any retaliation reached her or her ally. At least, that was what she was hoping for.

◄ HAVEN'T YOU HEARD WHAT BECOMES OF CURIOUS MINDS? The chakram seemed to disappear, checking on where Lea and Ramza were fighting it appeared that the opponent had brought out a new weapon. One that looked very odd to her, but now was not the time to consider such things. Instead her focus went back to the girl that was trying to bludgeon and stab her with that weapon of hers and some spell while she listened a bit on the conversation between the men. It seemed the ally, Ramza, was not very willing to hit a lady as it was not in the nature of a knight. If we face two women, I hope he can overcome that, Crowe thought for if they continued to the next match and faced more women. Honestly, now she had hoped she had paid more attention to the brackets.
Looking for Alma, the girl dashed past her. The winds were still beating into her, but Crowe saw this for an opportunity. Suddenly a ball of flame appeared in her hand from Firaga and she threw it right at the girl's back right as she started to sprint forward. The Wall was released due to her moving from her position. Right after the fire came a ball of storms as she threw Thundaga right after it. Both spheres would explode with fire and lightning, this time the red-haired man was much further away and the girl was focused on attacking Ramza instead. The winds kept beating into her as she dashed forward while her speed was increased, so she got out of the area of cutting winds than usually to go after Alma.
With her magical powers increased through the Mental Code and no weakening from the Wall, the two third tier spells would be of the fourth tie upon exploding. So she hoped to take the girl quickly down, but regarding her previous actions, Crowe dashed right after her spells with her increased movement from Tailwind and launched herself at the girl as well with her dagger to try and stab her from behind while her strength was even further increased with the Physical Code. She tried to make use of all the present enchantments to make the most of her attack. Of her full out assault on the girl. Though, her body did feel some pain from the attacks so far, albeit they had all been weakened from the Wall before. Actions 1. Used Firaga at Alma. 2. Used Thundaga at Alma. 3. Dashed straight after and tried to strike at Alma with her dagger into her back. Active The Wall: Forcefuly ended by moving. Physical Code: One post. Mental Code: Two posts. Cooldowns Magic Code: Ended. Aeroga: Ended. Blizzaga: Ended. The Wall: Three posts. Physical Code: Two posts. Mental Code: Three posts. Emergency Relief: Three posts. Firaga: Three posts. Thundaga: Three posts.

Lea managed to bullrush that Ramza guy alright, bullrush right into his waiting friggen arms! Before Lea could even begin to protest, the blonde and very clearly trained for this sort of fight knight had the red head on the ground clamboring just to keep from getting pinned and becoming useless to Alma beneath him. They fought and they rolled and that keyblade he was wielding was quick to disappear, probably saddened by the sheer pathetic-ness of Lea being in a wrestling match with some dude who was clear way more buff and very likely far more honorable than he’d ever be. Okay, the real truth? The keyblade disappeared because Lea was falling into some really old nasty habits. He. Was. Furious and to Ramza probably pretty hot to the tough. Nothing that would burn the guy, but definitely noticeable. Small embers even seemed to dance off of Lea’s face and his hair as he struggled to keep Ramza at bay.
At one point Lea did manage to get just enough momentum to Roll. An effort to dodge a pin, and for that brief victorious moment, Lea delivered a Punch toward the guy’s squared-off honorable better-than-you face. Just out of the corner of his eyes, Lea noticed Alma coming toward them and that was about all he saw before Ramza had his backside pressed to the friggen floor again! This was ridiculous! How was this even happening!? This guy wasn’t serious! Was he?! Lea’s eyes absolutely blazed in his fury.
There was a series of flashing light, fire and thunder boomed in the ring. Lea tried to see around Ramza but he couldn’t! What he could see was that stupid wall coming down...long after the floor was already just the floor again. ”GET THE HECK OFF ME!” Lea roared as his outrage boiled over into a massive Explosion of flame!
