Chronicles of the Knight of Ivalice

Freash of his victory against Atma, Ramza found himself Lost and Confused in an entirely new and unknown world, Traverse Town. Chased by the foul beings known as the Heartless, Ramza almost met his demise before being saved by two powerful ladies - Tifa Lockheart and General Beatrix, who, much like Ramza, had just arrived to this universe from her own world. Fighting together, the three were pushing back the heartless and about to conquer their freedom when the blue mage Blaise appeared. In an act of pure malice, Blaise casted a spell on the creatures, empowering them and putting the heroes in a terrible spot. The trio managed to survive, however; Blaise escaped, but Ramza would not forget his face anytime soon. 

After the initial peril, Ramza started traveling the cosmos, hitching rides in other people's Gummi Ships or estranged portals, looking for Alma, who might have also survived Atma's demise. He also searched for a way back to his homeworld.

During his many travels, Ramza ended up in Gaia, a world that much reminded him of his own; there, he was forced to take some bounty hunting jobs to feed himself while searching for a way to his next stop. One such contract - to hunt down "The Bandit King" Amarant Corral - caught his attention. However, Ramza had been used fooled too much on his life, and didn't want to take down someone who turned out to be innocent. As such, he decided to meet the strange man and judge his character. The meeting grew tense quickly, with Amarant challenging Ramza to a duel - which the Knight absolutely refused. [To Be Continued]

Finally, his travels led him to Disney Town, where he learned of the Birthday Cup - a gathering of the mightiest warriors in the Universe. It was a team battle, but the Knight had no allies to team up with; he signed up and left it at the hands of fate. Fate blessed him, pairing him with a fierce lady called Crowe; fighting together, the makeshift team made it all the way to the semi-finals. The most intense moment, for Ramza, was the first match - his opponent was called Alma, and Ramza thought it would be his sister. It wasn't, but the similarities between the adversary and his missing sister were uncanny; Ramza was barely able to focus on the match. 

After the Fight, he was visited by this new Alma, who recognized his weird behavior. The Knight ended up learning a bit more about her - learning about her origins, the fact she left her home and served under a mysterious master who teaches her the ways of White Magicks. Intrigued by her story, Ramza decided to join forces with the girl, to act as her bodyguard during the dangerous missions she would encounter.

Eventually, he did get back to Ivalice by himself... but it wasn't his Ivalice. He somehow found himself back in the past, during the Age of Mythology. Stranded in the world for a while, Ramza started working as a mercenary and hunter to get himself by while waiting for a chance to wander back into the other worlds. In this meantime, he was hired as a mercenary by a man named Drake, who claimed his wife had been abducted by a Demon posing as a human. Ramza accepted the job, not knowing he was chasing a poor human trying to Outrun her Past Reflections. Ramza would learn the hard way that the true demons were fighting by his side; as Dieter, the Archdaemon, showed his true form, Ramza realized he could trust the safety of that woman to neither side of that conflict. Taking matters on his own hands, Ramza fled the battlefield with Lady Cassialyn Frewin, determined to protect her at all costs.

The two managed to escape successfully, but didn't have a minute to waste, as the pursuers could come at any minute. Cassialyn was forced to confront her Shattered Illusions; while Ramza vows to protect her.
