It was funny. Rina had been nearly oblivious to the music as her and Alex swayed aimlessly, but as soon as the music stopped she could hear the buzzing of silence in her ears. For some reason a deep sadness settled in her heart. If the music stopped that meant it was time for them to go. Rina didn’t want to go. She never wanted this to end. She prepared herself for Alex to stop swaying them, but he never did. When the music stopped Alex started to hum instead. The woman noticed that it was the song that had started them dancing hours ago.
Rina drifted her eyes closed as they moved slowly around. A blossom of bittersweet happiness had sprouted in her heart. This was the first time in a long time that she felt truly happy. She had no doubt in her mind that this was where she was supposed to be. The Universe had been guiding her to Costa Del Sol to run into this funny little former Turk. She really couldn’t figure out why either. Was it just for this short trip to Junon and then they would part ways soon after? Or was this for a longer haul? Rina wasn’t sure yet.
The girl was brought from her reverie by a feeling like electricity that had ran down her spine. While lost in her thoughts Alex had started to run his fingers across her back and found an old scar to play with. The feeling it sent through her body wasn’t a bad one, but it was sort of one that took her breath away. Her muscles tensed up slightly each time he passed his hand over it. Maybe he sensed her movement, because he soon stopped and just rested his heavy hand there instead. She didn’t mind that either.
The moon was high in the sky and the remainder of the deck lights went out, leaving the pair bathed in bright moonlight and the path inside lit up by small fairy lights. Rina lifted her head off of Alex’s shoulder as the lights went out and glanced around. Her eyes widened as she realized that there wasn’t a soul out there with them anymore. Everyone had gone back inside. Rina was about to tell Alex this when he spoke before she did. But instead of telling her the obvious he exclaimed that this night had been amazing. She smiled sweetly and was about to agree with him when he caught her chin in his hand and tilted it up, so they could look at each other. Even in the slight darkness Alex’s eyes were bright with emotion and as he leaned down to her she could feel what was about to happen before it ever did.
Alex’s lips met hers and it was like they were two adjacent pieces of a puzzle that had finally been put together. Something inside of her just clicked into place. Without even realizing it tears had started to well up in her eyes and fall down her cheeks. Maybe the tears were relived tears because she was starting a new chapter in her life, and she wouldn’t have to live like she had been ever again. Or maybe they were happy tears because she was entirely at peace and full of joy in this moment. But they were nowhere close to being sad tears. Not at all.
When their kiss broke, Rina quickly swiped away the tears that were falling and couldn’t look at Alex as they continued to come down. She was only able to look at him after he sweetly told her that she was amazing. This made her laugh through her tears. Rina reached up and held one of his cheeks in her hand. “I knew you were going to be trouble, Alex Smith. Or whatever your name is.”
With that Rina grinned and reached up to pull him down into another sweet kiss.

Alessandro didn't want the moment to end. Tonight had been perfect in so many ways, most of all that he had been able to spend it with the lovely Rina. After he spoke, he immediately noticed his date wiping tears from her eyes. That wasn't what he wanted to see! He could just barely see it in their dark setting, lit only by the silver moonlight. With Alex's past, tears were usually a bad thing accompanied with grim news or pleas of mercy. He couldn't bring his mind to think that they might be tears of joy.
"Hey. Don't cry..."
Alessandro's voice left in a soft tone, attempting to plead with her. She then chuckled, telling him she knew he was gonna be trouble and her lips met his once again. The same as before, he felt the voltage run through his spine and goosebumps raise on his arms and legs. This girl was his kryptonite, at least that's how he was beginning to see it.
He had nearly forgotten that she didn't even know his real name yet. He almost told her, but realized that, for now, this was much safer. The less she knew about him the safer she was. He didn't want the Turks coming for her while looking for him. That would be awful. Alessandro simply grinned and decided to make a lighthearted joke of it.
"How'd you find out my middle name?"
Alex gave her a wink and grasped Rina's left hand with his right. He broke their embrace and began to lead her over to the ship's edge. He didn't want the night to end, even if everyone else's had. He thought it could be a good idea just to stand out here and watch the ocean mirror the beautiful sight of the moon above.
Instinctively, to support his relaxing mood, Alessandro reached for a cigarette, but forgot that he did not have his jacket on him. He had always associated smoking with relaxation whether it be to calm his nerves before a mission or just to wind down after a long day. Realizing he didn't have them, he just smiled, placing his right arm around Rina's waist and his left onto the balcony of the boat's edge.
"And to think, you still have to put up with me for a couple more days."
Alex gave her a playful nudge with his shoulder as he spoke. It was true that they only had a couple days together, unless she decided to stay around after that. That would make him happy. He would love to spend more time with the beautiful Rina. There was still the lingering thought that she would leave once they reached Junon, but he tried to keep that thought down and enjoy the blissful state he was currently in.

As Alex led her to the edge of the deck, Rina finally took a moment to take a good look at the night sky. It always amazed her that the beautiful sunset could give birth to something even more beautiful like the moon every single night. It was a cloudless night, so the pale full moon was adorned with twinkling stars. Other worlds too. She supposed one of those was Radiant Garden, her old homeworld. Rina wished to return there one day. Maybe Alex would be coming with her when she did go. The handsome man joked with her saying that his middle name was trouble. He wanted to know how she knew. Rina just laughed. “Oh, you have trouble written all over you. I knew it the moment I saw you.” As they joked Rina noticed that he seemed to be patting down his pockets looking for something. I bet he wants a smoke. She remembered that she had his jacket on and felt the pockets until she felt the small box and lighter. Rina dug them out and handed them over to Alex as he wrapped his arm tightly around her waist. Invisible in the night a blush rose up on her cheeks, but she didn’t pull away from him. If anything, she wanted to be closer to him. It amazed her how comfortable she was with Alex. "And to think, you still have to put up with me for a couple more days."
This made Rina frown. “Such a short time…we’ll be there before you know it.“ Rina wondered…what would happen when they reached Junon? She truly had no money on her to get back to Costa Del Sol at this moment. She had a small amount saved up at a bank in Edge, but she didn’t know if she could get to that from Junon. She would find herself at a disadvantage if this trip turned sour. Rina worried her lip with her teeth.
“Alex…? I know we’ve just met. And this whole thing is absolutely crazy, but I’ve had so much fun. If we can survive each other until Junon…” She turned so she could face him as she spoke. “I’d…I’d like to see where this goes.”

Alessandro merely chuckled ass Rina stated that she knew he was trouble the moment she met him. Not only was she gorgeous, but she had charm and humor on top of it. If she had anything negative about her personality she had yet to show it.
"Thank you."
Alex thanked her as she handed over the pack of cigarettes. He popped one out and lit it, taking a long, slow drag with his left arm, while his right still held her waist. He held the small pack out for his date as an offer as she spoke further. Looking at her, she seemed distraught after he had reminded her that they only had a couple days left. That was good, that meant she didn't want it to end, right. She confirmed this.
"Yeah, but we'll make the most of it, ok? I'll make sure this is a trip to remember."
After that, she stated that she wanted to see where this went. Yeah, ok, they only just met this afternoon, but this one day was already one of the best he'd experienced in a long, long time. If there was a future between them, Alessandro wanted to see where it went. The former Turk was all in.
"Absolutely. I can already tell you're too sweet to let go."
Alex leaned down and kissed her once again, this time on the forehead. The night out here seemed to be coming to a close, but it didn't necessarily mean they were done for the night. He'd paid extra for a good time, and he'd be damned to see it end just because some of the older folks on the ship thought it was past their bedtime. It still felt kinda early, he assumed like 10 or 11 at night, not even midnight yet.
"So, this party seems like its ending or something. You never had a chance to see it, but there's a treat for us back in our room."
As soon as he said it, he realized that could be taken in a very wrong way. He kinda made it sound extremely forward, so he decided to add on. He took a drag off his cigarette and tried again.
"Ok, that sounds bad. What I meant to say was, I want to show you something special in the bathroom."
Alex, you idiot, that's worse!
"Shit, even worse! Hot tub! There's a hot tub! Not that...uh..not that I wouldn't..just...dammit...there's a hot tub."
He was so nervous now that he sounded like a bumbling idiot. He screwed it up big time. Maybe he could laugh it off, so he attempted to laugh it off. His face was a deep crimson as he did, waiting for Rina's answer, hoping it wasn't a negative one now that he sounded like a stupid high school kid stumbling over his words.

Rina shook her head, refusing his cigarettes. Instead she leaned her head on his shoulder listening to him tell her that he was going to make sure that this was a trip to remember. It already was in Rina’s mind. She would never be able to forget this day or the man that she spent it with. Rina’s heart fluttered in her chest when Alex leaned down to place a kiss on her forehead, saying she was too sweet to let go. A happy smile appeared on her lips and she pressed herself closer into Alex’s side.
Rina would have to admit that this day filled with excitement had wore her out. She was trying to stifle a yawn with her hand when Alex told her that there was a treat for them waiting in their room. Rina couldn’t help but raise an amuse eyebrow. She wasn’t sure if Alex was trying to be coy about certain late-night activities or if he was talking about something else entirely. Alex tried to correct his statement, but only stuck his foot further into his mouth. “Something special?”, Rina asked between giggles. She was getting more tickled with him by the minute.
He finally got his words out telling her that they had a hot tub in their room. Still wracked with giggles she managed to say, “Ohh. We do? Well that’ll be a nice way to relax.” Even in the darkness Rina could see the dark red that Alex’s cheeks had become. She ran her hand across his blazing cheek. “Ya know. I’m not sure if I brought my bathing suit or not.” The look she shot at Alex then was far from innocent, but somehow still looked pure on Rina’s face.

Alessandro tried to keep his crimson face hidden as he stowed away the cigarettes in his back pocket. Yeah, he blundered through his speech just now, but it bothered him slightly because he was usually so smooth, especially around the ladies. There was something about this Rina that had him all flustered.
"Yeah, I thought it'd be super relaxing after the dinner and dancing tonight."
He then felt her hand run across his warm, flush cheek. He felt her skin, so cool to the touch because of the cool, sea air. He was still glad he'd covered her with his jacket. It was a little chilly, sure, but Alex could handle it. The last thing he wanted was his date to be ill the next couple days because of a night outside in the beginning of the trip.
She then completely stopped his track of mind by stating she didn't have a bathing suit. He stopped for a moment with the visual that entered his mind, and even more blood rushed to his head, causing the blush upon his face to become even more pronoun.
He thought about trying to keep it innocent, but his mind wanted to go extremely filthy. He didn't want to ruin the moment by presuming things he shouldn't, but he also wanted to have some fun and keep the moment light hearted. The look upon her face didn't help at all with remaining innocent anyway. He wanted desperately to grab her by the arm and run straight for their room, but, instead, he merely clasped her hand in his and turned toward the stairway leading to the guest rooms.
"I think we better get going before you corrupt me any further. You put any more thoughts in my head and something bad my happen. I have a pair of shorts and a t-shirt you can wear, I think."
The grin he gave her was far from innocent, in response to her own devilish grin. As he walked towards their room, Alex stopped after passing the double swing doors that looked like they led to a kitchen. A quick peek told him no one was inside, so he put up a finger as a sign to hold on for a second, and Two Guns quickly popped inside and returned with a bottle of champagne and two glasses.
"I'm borrowing this."
He grinned again, this time a light hearted, carefree, toothy grin. Alessandro finished the trek to the room, and made his way into the bathroom. He once again opened the door for Rina to enter the room first.
"Ladies first."

Rina stood back and watched with delighted amusement as Alex’s face turned even redder and went through several different facial expressions. She may have been playing dirty in this game they were playing. She was pretty sure her bathing suit was at the bottom of her bag, but she just wanted to play with Alex’s head for a minute. She couldn’t help but laugh aloud as he said that she was corrupting him with thoughts. Thoughts of what, she didn’t know, but she was fairly sure she could make some accurate guesses.
She smiled and waved off his offer of a t-shirt and shorts as he led her back to their room. “Oh I’m sure I can find something more comfortable than that to relax in.” Their trek was stopped when Alex stopped them in front of some double door. Rina stood and put her hands on her hips as Alex slipped away into the ship’s galley. “Alex?! What are you doing in there?” He came right back out with a bottle of bubbly and some glasses. The woman giggled and wrapped her arm around his as they made it back to their room.
“Um…there’s no borrowing to it if we drink it all, Alex.” They both entered the room and Rina went right to her bag of clothes, rifling through it until her bathing suit was found. She showed the black suit with the lace up front to Alex. “Found it!” With a grin to Alex she went into the bathroom to change.
The bathroom was just as luxurious and grand as the rest of their room. It was a large room with a toilet, sink, and a large shower dotted about the room. And tucked into the corner adjacent to the door was a built in hot tub. It was the perfect size for two people and was lined with beautiful blue tile.
Rina went over to turn the hot tub on letting it start to fill with hot water. As it filled she quickly undressed, changing into her suit tightening the laces that went up the front.

"Eh, that's all just minor details. It'll be ok."
Alex grinned once more as Rina entered the room. He followed behind her, quietly closing the door behind them. Alex waltzed over to the dresser and sat the bottle of champagne down as Rina went rustling through her bag. What was she doing? Alessandro could have sworn that she said she didn't bring a bathing suit. Well, she could have been messing with him he guessed.
"See, you are the bad influence...putting thoughts in my head for amusement. I better watch myself."
Two Guns walked towards his own bag, to fish out his own bathing suit. He couldn't help but watch the young lady as she walked towards the bathroom. Grinning once more, Alex turned back to his bag, rustling through it. Let's see...t-shirt...shorts...socks...cigarettes...more socks...pants...dress shirt...tie I'll never wear...more socks...Why did I pack my ammo in this pocket?...another dress shirt...even more socks...Hey! There's my lucky lighter!...Uh...Um....Did I not...
"F%@#..."
Guess who didn't bring swimming trunks; Alex didn't bring swimming trunks. With the ribbing he'd just given Rina, Alessandro had definitely been the one to not come prepared. He decided to eat the embarrassment now, before he had to confront her.
"So...uh...guess what I didn't pack!"
Alex called in a a volume that would just barely be audible through the bathroom door. He had already figured out a solution, but knew torment would come from this. As he waited for his reply, he stripped down and began changing into a pair of gym shorts. It would work well enough anyway. It was either that or undergarments, and this felt a little less risque anyway.
Before knocking on the door to enter, Alex walked over to the champagne and popped the cork. He winced as he did, because he usually gave himself a black eye when he did this. Alessandro hadn't accounted for the bubbly to ooze out from the top due to the released pressure. He didn't have a sink, because there was a woman in the bathroom currently waiting for him. Alessandro quickly took his shirt off and tossed it to the end of the bed, next to the rest of his clothes, before walking over to the bathroom door and knocking lightly with his foot. He had to use his foot because he was currently holding two glasses in one hand and a bottle of alcohol in the other.

With the sound of the water flowing in the background, Rina turned to the large vanity style mirror above the sink. She had had the front part of her hair pulled back for their dinner, but now she wanted to pull it up. Taking the pins from her hair, she watched as it all fell back down to its natural resting place. As she did this she could hear Alex calling to her that he hadn’t packed his swimming trunks!
“Are you serious!?” she called back to him. She went to the door and poked her head around the side fully intending to give him hell about teasing her before but was greeted to the sight of his bare backside as he changed into some shorts. Covering her mouth with her hand, Rina darted her head back inside the bathroom, hoping he hadn’t seen her! She could feel embarrassment rising up all the way from her toes! She glanced into the mirror and saw redness all across her chest and rising up into her cheeks. Rina shook her head and busied herself with finishing up her hair, twisting her long hair up and into a bun using a long silver pin to keep it in place. She stepped away from the sink and went to the tub, running her hand through the water. It was nice and warm now and she couldn’t wait to get in.
Just then she heard a tapping on the door and she went to let Alex in. He had the glasses in one hand and the bottle in his other. She took the bottle from him and set it on the edge of the tub, before putting her hands on her hips. She could still feel the blush burning on her cheeks, but she just pretended it wasn’t there. “I thought you were never coming.”

As Alessandro waited for the bathroom door to open, he stifled a grin with all his might. Alex was a man of many talents, and a lot of those talents required him to have an excellent sense of perception. So, while he was changing, when Apollo heard the slight clicking noise behind him, he knew what must have happened. Rina decided to sneak a peak while he was changing. It may have been accidental, but he was gonna have fun with this anyway.
As the door opened, Alessandro walked in as Rina snatched the bottle of champagne from his hand. Now, it was time to have fun. He could instantly tell he was correct in his assumption, as she glowed with blush, deciding to mess with him first because he'd taken time looking for his trunks.
"Yeah, sorry about that. I wanted to make sure I gave you enough time to get dressed. I didn't want to walk in on you."
He tried his best to keep an innocent appearance, as he sat the glasses down next to the bottle and leaned in to give the lovely Rina another kiss upon the forhead. The fun he was going to have teasing her was doing a good job distracting Alessandro over the things Rina would learn just from seeing him without a shirt on. The bee hive tattoo on his chest was all too symbolic of Don Corneo's trashy joint, and he had several scars throughout his midsection from his fair share of gunshot wounds. However, since he was having fun teasing Rina, he'd completely forgotten about it.
"You look a little warm. Is it too hot in here for you?"
This, of course, referenced the heavy blush on her face and chest. He decided he would try to play it off as heat to keep with the innocence play. As he stepped into the tub, he continued with his next play.
"So, the view tonight was pretty amazing wasn't it....I mean did you get a good view of the moon?"
Ok, that one may have given it away, but it was still pretty good in Alessandro's eyes. He poured two glasses of champagne as he waited for Rina to get in, but he couldn't help it anymore. He gave Rina the most devilish smile as he turned to hand her a glass.

He knew! Somehow he just knew that Rina had seen him! She could tell! He had this quiet smugness about him and it just seemed to rub Rina the wrong way. Any doubt that Rina had in her mind was washed away when he made a comment about taking his time because he didn't want to walk in on her. But she knew. She could hear it in his voice.
Rina tried to keep her face as causal as she could manage as Alex leaned down to kiss her forehead. It sent happy, little butterflies all throughout her. Forehead kisses were one of her favorite things. Rina leaned forward into the kiss and her hands reflexively wrapped around the dips of Alex's waist. Smooth skin and hard muscle could be felt underneath Rina's fingers. With being so close, Rina glanced over Alex's chest spying a bee hive shaped tattoo. She ran her hand over it in thought. Surely this isn't...he wouldn't have worked at a place like that would he?
The woman was broken away from her thoughts when Alex stepped away from her. He continued to tease her about the flush on her cheeks asking if the room was too hot for her. Rina just scoffed and shook her head, watching him climb into the tub. "Not hot enough, Alex." He could take that however he wanted.
Rina climbed in after he did. She sighed and relaxed instantly in the warm jets of the tub. She closed her eyes and leaned her head back. She grew quiet as she soaked, but jerked her head up in surprise when Alex asked her if she had got a good view of the moon. Judging by the lilt in his voice and the shit eating grin on his face she knew he wasn't talking about the moon outside. Rina just sighed and took a big long gulp from the glass that he had handed her. She stared out at Alex over the rim of her glass. Fine. She would concede this battle. Rina knew how to play.
"Actually, I did. Best moon I've seen in awhile. What about you, Alex? See any nice moons lately?"

Alessandro was briefly worried when Rina ran her fingers over the tattoo on his chest. Working for Corneo wasn't his proudest achievement, but it had led to his employment with Shin-Ra. She didn't say anything, so she must have not put two and two together. That's good, because he'd rather it stay that way, at least for now. He could be truthful in the future, when they knew each other better.
Rina was a good sport. If she thought he hadn't known, she didn't show it. He expected the blush to grow even darker from his comments, but she played right into it. She made the comment about it not being hot enough, and, then, Alessandro knew she was playing into it. As she got into the tub, Alex knew she was going all in, replying that she had seen the beautiful 'moon' this evening.
Now, Alessandro felt the butterflies heavy again. Things were going so well, and he knew what he wanted to do. He leaned forward, planting a deep kiss upon her. This one wasn't the innocent one he'd planted on the deck above. This one was purposeful.
"Not yet I haven't."
----------
Alessandro didn't sleep much that night. He was an incredibly light sleeper, so he found himself waking with every movement from his companion. Judging by the time on the nearby clock, dawn was still an hour or two away. Alex very carefully moved from the bed, so as not to wake Rina. He decided he would take the time to shower and smoke a cigarette in said shower. He made every movement with the utmost caution.
Alex leaned down and snatched the pack of cigarettes and a lighter from his pants pockets, as well as clothes for the day. Towels were already hanging in the shower, so he didn't have to worry there. The hot water felt amazing on his back as the former Turk inhaled the tobacco. To him, this was an amazing way to wake up in the morning. He would have liked to lay in bed longer, next to his gorgeous date, but he was afraid he'd wake her.
Alessandro finished his shower and dressed for the day. He quietly sat in a nearby chair and stared out at the sea for what felt like hours, waiting for his day to start. When he started to see her stir, Alessandro pulled the corded room satellite phone into the bathroom and quietly ordered breakfast for the two.

Rina woke up to the sound of a muffled voice and the feeling of an empty bed. The woman sleepily ran her hand over the side of the bed where Alex had been. The part of her that was still asleep was disappointed and a little hurt that he wasn’t holding her anymore. It was one of the last things she remembered before she had fallen asleep. Her head crooked into his neck and his strong arms wrapped all around her. As she woke up more fully, she could tell that Alex was in the bathroom speaking to someone. Maybe he was on the phone? That made the most sense.
Rina sat up in the bed, the crimson blankets falling down around her hips and her black hair spilling down her shoulders. She sat there in silence, reflecting on the past 18 hours or so. Her fingers came to brush against her lips, feeling them curl into a small smile as she remembered nearly each burning kiss that Alex had placed upon them the evening before. If yesterday was an example of what the rest of this trip may hold, then coming with Alex was the best decision Rina had ever made.
With her stupid smile still plastered on her face, Rina climbed out of the bed. Standing beside the edge of the bed, with her back turned towards the bathroom Rina yawned and stretched. She could feel some of the deeper scars etched into skin strain against her stretching. The skin just never seemed to heal properly… With a sigh she just rolled her shoulders instead, trying to release the tension built up. With most of the kinks gone she would go about trying to put her wild mess of hair up into a semblance of neatness. A messy bun was still a messy bun though.

Alessandro had just finished ordering breakfast. He wasn't sure what she liked so he ordered one platter of eggs with bacon and hash browns and another platter of waffles with fresh fruit. He liked both options, so he'd be perfectly fine with whichever she didn't choose.
Alex quietly opened the door to see Rina, stretching. He didn't say anything to her, and sat the phone down without a sound before wrapping his arms around her midsection. He gave a very light kiss to one of the scars her shoulders. It was his way of saying he liked every thing about her, even her beautiful imperfections. What happened in the past wasn't as important to him as the present. If anyone had a past to be ashamed of it was Alessandro.
"Good morning. You slept well."
His own face seemed to be fitted into a permanent smile this morning. Everything about the last day was like the perfect dream. The hardest thing he'd had to do was raise himself from bed, when his arms felt so warm wrapped around her. Everything about the trip felt right. Alex couldn't help but think that this was right.
He wanted to know more about her, everything really. He was bound and determined to make today about getting to know her. This was incredibly risky though, because she may also want to know Alessandro's past. That might scare her away, and he really didn't want that. He already decided that, until he talked to Tseng, he couldn't risk her knowing anything else about him.
"I already ordered breakfast. I wasn't sure what you liked, so I ordered a couple different things. They're bringing coffee too."
Another peck on her shoulders and Alex turned towards his bag. He still had to find a shirt for the day, as he was wearing a pair of gym shorts and his socks. As he pulled out his shirt, he started to laugh. A pair of swimming trunks fell out as they untangled from the t-shirt. As he pulled the shirt over his head, he opened up with his first question.
"So, where are you from anyway? I don't think you ever told me."

Rina had just finished putting her hair up, when those strong arms she was sure she dreamed about wrapped themselves around her. She couldn’t help but grin and place her arms on top of Alex’s. Rina all but melted when he started kissing her shoulder, his lips caressing the spiderweb shaped scar that she knew all too well. Gunshot wound and a shattered shoulder blade. That had been a fun time…but…this. This was truly fun. This truly made Rina happy. She didn’t have to hide from him. And he hadn’t hid from her. His body told a tragic story just like hers did. She had spent a good amount of time the night before learning his scars with her fingers, trying to solve the mystery of each one.
“Morning, cowboy. I slept great.” Rina tilted her head so she could place a kiss against the edge of his cheek. “I feel like I kept you up though…you were up so early.” Rina closed her eyes, just savoring the feeling of Alex holding her until her stomach growled loudly in response to the mentioning of food. “Oh gods, yes. Breakfast please!”
As Alex extracted himself from Rina to go through his duffel bag, Rina went to do the same. A black t-shirt that was a bit too big and some blue jean shorts were what she was going to wear that day. She walked into the bathroom laying her clothes on the sink, so she could get ready to take a shower before breakfast came. While she gathered what she needed she heard Alex ask her where she was from. Her face formed into a cringe. Uh oh. “Umm I used to live in Edge.” It wasn’t a lie. She may have been from a different world, but she had lived in Edge for several years. All up until a year ago. “Now I’m kinda sleeping in my Gumm- airship.” Good job, Rina. Great. Almost mess it up. She tried to change the subject by poking her head around the door. “ W-what about you? Where are you from? Is Junon home?”
