The Director didnt know what to do with this woman anymore. She could certainly get out of hand faster than anyone else he had ever known. That included Reno. It was quite hard to outdo Reno in causing a fuss. Tseng shook his head and sighed as he watched the blonde lean up against the far wall of the cave to listen. He let a small sigh pass his lips as he shook his had a bit faintly at her actions. Of course she was going to continue to listen outside.
It did not make any logical sense for her to have heard anyone. They were in the middle of a cold and snowy mountain in Wutai. Who in Gaia's name would be climbing a mountain this time of the day making that sort of noise for the fiend for find them.
That's when the self loathing side of Elena began to roll into her tone. She was tired and cold. He was fully aware where this was all coming from. It happened when Elena felt down and hopeless. This just was not the time for the little breakdown she was having. This was nothing compared to some of the hell they had been through. He could not handle her right this minute.
"You're not wrong, but I do not have the time to be training someone new. So please stop with whatever this is supposed to be and get some rest. I probably have some emergency food in my inner coat pocket if that helps." He could not be juggling her emotions on top of everything else in his head. He had to get them home safety and then try to figure out how they would complete the mission they had been charged with. That is, until he heard something this time. He seemed a bit confused as he shifted to his feet and pulled his jacket on properly as he broke a small hole in the snow wall. It was a bit late, but maybe Elena was not mistaken. "....That's a person..." He seemed more than confused. Was this a trap of some kind? His dark eyes moved to Elena almost asking the question. |

Elena was a very childish Turk in some ways, she could be an emotional train wreck when he needed to be. She hated that she was this way, but she couldn’t help it. The blonde was getting stroppy because she knew she wasnt hearing things. Tseng doubting her upset her and even though he sent her to rest she knew she wasn’t going crazy, she wrapped her jacket around herself more, so much for a night in a hotel. The blonde women was looking forward to a warm bed, comfy pjs, tv on quiet, snacks in the bed. Hotel beds were more comfortable then her own bed at home, even if she didn’t want to admit that.
But instead she was trapped here, ice cold conditions being judged by the man she loathed. She hated herself at times for liking him so much, she was a fool for thinking he liked her too at one point. The offering of food was a push in the wrong direction; she wasn’t hungry but it was said was if he assumed she was. The blonde closed her eyes, more to stop herself talking. When she got cold she wanted to argue, because she knew that she was right.
Again she heard the voice, this time she heard Tseng shift and break a hole in the snow wall. The Wutainese almost questioned himself. “Didn’t you say before ‘I’m sure it’s the wind..’” she asked him keeping her eyes shut; she didn’t want to be the person that said ‘I told you so’ but she was biting her tongue not to say it.

Andoria had came out of her ship and walked in that snow to the other ship that was there just hopefully the people were alright. She had knocked at the door and wondered if anyone would answered to her knocking. She had just left her own gummi ship to see if anyone was in this ship that was her thought. She had kept her dress hiked a bit up so it wouldn't dragged in the snow. Andoria had stood there in the snow waiting for this door to open and her ship had still worked in order as far as she known.
She just wondered if the people in this helicopter had needed the help. For her this was normal day for her to help out others. She just kept knocking wondering she could be heard or if she needed to go in to save them. There was so many thoughts going through her mind that she needed to figure out, but right now its saving these people if they were still alive that is. Saving them is all that matters in this case its really cold out here and I don't want anyone in there to freeze to death. Andoria thought.
"Is anyone still alive in there I'm at the back door to this ship. I want confirmation if someone in there is still alive, so that way I know a way to save you from freezing from death. I will come in after I get that confirmation. I just need your permission to come in to save you from this cold." Andoria said. She was still being her kind self that she didn't wanted to scare anyone from this ship since they might be scared of strangers and that's the last thing on her mind at this moment.

Tseng was extremely caught off guard. He did not expect to actually hear someone calling out. Especially not in the middle of the night in the middle of the mountains. Why would he think he COULD hear something. It was crazy to think the were actually hearing a feminine voice. He frowned a bit at her comment as she kept her eyes closed and stayed comfortable against the wall. He couldn't make heads or tails with her at times. They needed to figure out the situation and see if it was worth getting back to a town with whomever this woman was.
She spoke again, sounding a little distant still as he moved to open up the wall of snow a bit before moving to hoist Elena up to her feet. "The sarcasm is not appreciated." He expressed as he worked to put out the fire. Not that it really made much of a difference. "She seems to have an airship. So, it is either Avalanche, ShinRa, or the WRO. I do not know of anyone else with the access." He explained. All of which would get them back to safety.
"Let's get you out first..." He explained as he laced his fingers together to be able to help her up and out of the cave they'd found. He knew Elena would be able to get her attention before helping him out a bit as well. It would just be easier. |

“I’m sure if she had an air ship we would of heard it..” Elena half commented, as she was renched up from where she was laying by Tseng. The man must of had more common sense then her surely. You could hear an aircraft from a mile away, but a voice? Elena had hit that wall where she just wanted to constantly frown; a face that Reno always tormented her for. But Elena said nothing, just watching the man for a few moments as he explained who it might be. “Hold on, you and I both know that all airships are loud, very loud. Cid’s ship is loud. Helicopters belong to Shinra are loud. And the WRO ones are part made by Shinra. You would of heard an aircraft before you heard a voice Tseng.. How do you know this isn’t some enemy? Someone who shot us down and now looking for us?” Elena said, as Tseng started to help her out. “You’re making first contact... I have no plans to be shot.” Elena said with a frown as she was helped out the cave, the cold air was uninviting. Straight away she felt her body shudder from the cold air. Her fingers going like ice.. her foot now sockless was freezing, she didn’t realise he would make her leave the cave whilst the conditions outside were like this.
Composing herself the blonde took a deep breath and turned back towards the cave to offer Tseng her hand to help him out. She was to cold for this, nothing ever went right for her. “Remind me to book vacation if we don’t die out here..” She needed time away from Tseng she hated to admit that to herself, but she did. She hated that no matter what she did she was in the wrong, as she helped him she found herself locked on his eyes, his perfect eyes. Why was she paired with a man who just saw her nothing more then an annoyances? She turned her head away from him and looked back at the ground covered snow. If she did die out here she wouldn’t have to worry about annoying the life out of the man anymore; she was sure whomever this voice was had to be an enemy.
Helping Tseng out Elena finally faced away from the cave properly and having a good look at the surrounding area, a blizzard of white snow fulling around them made things difficult to see. She wrapped her jacket tighter around herself and made sure to pull her hands into the sleeves to try and keep some heat in. “I don’t even know which direction the voice was coming from... I’m sure we’d see an aircraft at some point up ahead.” Elena was just guessing where it was. But she decided to call out. “IF YOU CAN HEAR US SAY SOMETHING?..” she shouted before muttering; “Otherwise we’re just going to freeze to death before you kill us..” The women was convinced this person was sent to kill them; why else would that been knocked out the helicopter and suddenly found again in this waste land of snow? It didn’t make sense to her, but what in Gaia did anymore.

Without much reply from the other person, the two decided that it was best to stay in the remainder of the evening. The did not know if they were a threat or not. It simply seemed much safer. Tseng had re-started the fire and got the two of them situated after blocking off the entrance again. Once the evening passed, the two were up and off to their next destination. Along the way, they stumbled across a few shadows. But before they could do all that much, they ended up falling through another portal. It was honestly rather lucky honestly. They probably didn't stand a chance.
