“Hold still, Kupo. We are almost finished.”“... why are you doing this anyway?” “Well, our shop was right in front of where the battle was at and it’s good for business when we take care of the one saving our visitors, Kupo!” “... I.. see..”Moogles swarmed Ravus right now, bandaging him and fixing what they could on the knight. Ravus couldn’t help but shake his head at the little persistent creatures he only knew from history-books. He had thought all of them already vanished from the world, but it seemed he was wrong about that. While he had been taken care of these little fur-balls, someone was so nice to enlighten him on what was happening here. He was no longer in Eos, but in a completely different world, which had shocked him quiet a lot. The second shock was the information about the creature he had destroyed. A heartless... a creature created out of the heart that is consumed by darkness. It seemed these things swarm many worlds... The way they looked and acted were really similar to that of demons, so of course he would mistake one of them for a demon at first. Stealing hearts.. so that is what that thing had done.. it had tried to eat an other heart to get it’s own back. He wouldn't forget the face of this young man so soon, that was for sure. Having been finally taken care off, he would free himself from the grip of those little things, standing up to full height, rolling his shoulder for a moment before he would bow down a little. “Thanks for your aid... I will take my leave now.” With a few more words exchanged, he would finally step out of the shop again, sighing in frustration. What now? How could he get back home from here? They had said there was a way to travel worlds, but they were unsure how it worked. Great.. Zidane Tribal

What in the heck was that about?! Zidane made his way from the outdoor restaurant holding his gloved hand to a red, stinging cheek. Standing at about 173cm the rouge was below average when compared to his comrades. Leon and Bartz with their stupid long legs! And this stupid, burning cheek! He supposed the waitress didn't much like his flirting. The coarse thief was often regarded a ladies man. He was a smooth criminal, a real charmer. But with his heart still on another he found his usually poetic advances turning into -- fights for his life! Maybe he shouldn't have made that off-handed comment about how well her blouse fit her, all considering! Well you live, you learn. But in his mind it was a loss, one his brothers would have a stitch over. Him, losing his touch?! He was infamous for being able to bed any lady from Dali to Treno! Was his speechcraft failing due to lack of use?! “ Well I just have to practice!” He can't lose his touch! How else would he impress Dagger?! “ Keep it together!” He clenched his fist and psyched himself up before a thought came to mind. That was all well and good but he wasn't home so his brothers couldn't much find out or find out through some arbitrary rumor. Moreover, despite his most expert piloting skills, granted to him.by his sentient ship: he was in Traverse Town! He came for a reason, but he had yet to find out why... He's not been able to get back to his world for a while now, but it wasn't the problem. It was far from one because he did have the means to, but Invincible had a reason to be out here. What was that blasted ship looking for? He figured it had sentience. He felt it when Terra collapsed. He shouldn't be surprised given what Invincible actually was. But Traverse Town didn’t have much going on, as far as he knew. Heartless were pretty sparse save for a few Districts that their alleyways were a bit dangerous during the night. Keybladers and others did pretty well in keeping the town safe. He shrugged at the thought. No point in worrying too much about it. The ship wouldn’t lead him into some dangerous situation he couldn’t handle! He was a hero! Even if -- he was still just a regular guy. Folding his arms behind his head the rouge dawdled about, having no real direction. It wasn’t until the thief approached the the Mog Shop that he remembered he needed his blades sharpened. “ Hey guys!” Zidane looked to Ravus, motioning his hand in greeting as he grinned, behind him.his tail calmly swinging side to side.” Oy, you floating beanbag! I know you hear me!” How queer. Though he looked quite human that tail of his and those narrow pupils sunk in haunting blue eyes, which were almost cat-like slits, stood out against his youthful features. Young, perhaps in his late teens, the rogue was sharply dressed with his a silk jabot over a sleeveless blouse and teal vest. Over the jabot a gold pendant, resembling a theater’s half mask was strung with colorful beads which matched his glistening eyes. His jodhpur and loose, heeled boots made the boy look like something out of an ancient play of Lords and Kings, yet something surprisingly modern with how he spoke. What was the kid doing shouting at the roof of the shop? Well no sooner did he shout a moogle’s head would pop out of the shop’s upper window. “ What do you want you hooligan?! Kupo! Always slinging insults, po!” The head craftsmoogle didn't appreciate the cocky rouge's mouth. “ Kupo-po!” They shook their hammer threateningly. Zidane held out his hands to calm the rattling pipsqueak. “ Whoa, I was just teasing. Come on, sharpen my blades would ya? I'll give you something g nice this time.” “ And not just a bunch of stale kupo nuts, po. You swindler!” The craftsmoogle declared. Zidane put his hands on his hips and cocked his head. Tucking his left toe behind his right heel as he rest his weight on his right side: that lothe, Sandy tail leisurely swayed from side to side. “ You act as if I knew that. You're lucky I even had any.” They were pretty rare back home. Only came around once a year! The craftsmoogle pondered the pressed their puffy paw to their cat curled muzzle. “ Hmm. No!” The pink-white pastry hollered out. “ Go see if Cid’ll do it you-you, kup!” The fumed, causing Zidane to wince at the implied curse. “ You make my pom-pom frazzle kupo!” They slammed the shutters shut leaving the thief to wince. Zidane rolled his eyes, shrugging his shoulders in defeat. “ You have one bad kupo nut and you'd think their society's fallen” the brigand rubbed his nose, looking to Ravus as he thrust his thumb to the shop. “ You'd think we were married with how that went.” Of course that brought to question of the craftsmoogle was a girl... Zidane eyed the young man, head tilting as he peered up the mountainous figure. “ Name's Zidane.” He held put his gloved hand in a curt wave, but he smiled in glee. The moogle's sour mood hardly put a dent in the sunny blonde. But that tail though… of all his features, it stood out the most. Quite expressive as it's tip flicked from side to side. [attr="class","parm"] [attr="class","parmimg"] [attr="class","parmcontent"] [attr="class","parmtitle"]The protector [attr="class","parmesan"] Ravus was in thought for a moment and that was enough how it seemed for his surroundings to go completely crazy. A boy suddenly stood in front of him, waving him before having a scream-off with the moogles in the building, Ravus almost stoned by what was happening at once. First, this boy didn't look human, that tail prove enough that he was something completely different he had never seen or heard off before. Second, the moogles said he was trading with things that were not reliable... so he was most likely a thief of some kind? A gambler? Whatever the case, these moogles didn't want to do anything to help him with his blades. Ravus blinked, his attention returning to reality when the boy shifted his focus on him, smiling an introducing himself with the name Zidane after joking with his relationship to these creatures. So.. that happened... okey... The royal nodded, still irritated, but able to pull himself together enough to say something to the situation that just unfolded before him. “... Ravus. Ravus nox Fleuret.”A moment of silence before Ravus would step to the side, his eyes still glued on the creature.. or more it's tail like it was some kind of snake that could attack him any moment. He just couldn't stop staring at it. It was to exotic for him. “I think I understand why they wouldn't fix your weaponry. If you wanted to or not left aside, you did sell them something that was not worth it. I guess you have to regain their trust or look for an other blacksmith.”
Raising his eyebrow once more, one could easily see he was not trusting the kid one bit. He should take his leave... as soon as possible, before he gets involved in matters of this world once again, maybe losing his arm this time than getting just a few scratches on it.

Zidane arched a brow at Ravus. Those bushy brows drew over his features expressively. Blue eyes focused on the young man with a sense of awe. It wasn't as if Zidane had the sense to admire such objectivity. In all honesty Ravus sounded like Blank. Zidane and the older Brigand never did see eye to eye, though it didn't mean they didn't get along or that Blank wasn't always right. It caused him to snort, his lip curling up in a light sneer before it turned up into one of his trademark smiles. It was bright and honest making it hard to tell if he was scheming or was relaxed. He shrugged and folded his arms behind his head, gloved fingers knitting together to hold the back of his head. The lithe boy tucked his left leg behind his right, tail held out towards his left side to aide in his balance. His blue eyes turned away as he sucked his teeth in a dismissive response. “ Oh they'll get over it. It wasn't my fault the kupo nut was stale.” It wasn't as if he was an expert in their freshness. He only had it by chance from the last Hunter's Festival. Though the thought alone swirled up a world of guilt in his chest. So it was a stale kupo nut. It wasn't what made him feel bad. He visibly sulked. His shoulders slumped forward as his left hand slid up to the center of his chest, draw upward toward his face before he tossed back a few loose strands into the whole mane of gold. A thousand thoughts pushed through him in that moment. He really hated the fact Ravus was -- right. It was what the nut had meant to them…. Snapping his right fingers he waved his hand before the in heel before squatting and stretching out his legs. Jumping to a standing position once more the rouge bounced on his heels, arms at his side as if he was ready to run. He turned to face Ravus, feeling the situation had turned on him despite his attempt to keep it lighthearted. “ Fine, fine. But that's a specialty item. That's kinda why I ended up trading them a stale one. Back where I'm from you can only come by them once a year.” He explained it had been mere circumstance of chance than malicious intent. The rogue looked back towards Traverse Town's gates. He took a ponderous pose, letting his left hand come to his chin, his right rest upon his hip. The end of his blonde tail, though long, did well to remain curled up and off the ground. Positioned so that even as it slumped low: the length was curled to a side and raised. It was that hooked end that twitched and flicked. He really hadn't a choice. Invincible was not likely to do what he asked if it was real important. Go figure when you had a ship with a mind, or several, of its own. Right. He grinned. “ Well, Ravus, I doubt there's any shops around here with kupo nuts, but I bet they've stuff a Moogle’ll trade for.” He pointed off towards the Third District. “ I've got time before my ship comes back. Wanna come along?” He had plenty of time. Wait, a ship? This irresponsible cur? MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

[attr="class","parm"] [attr="class","parmimg"] [attr="class","parmcontent"] [attr="class","parmtitle"]The protector [attr="class","parmesan"] The young boy seemed to understand what Ravus meant, though he didn't seem very pleased by the situation he has gotten himself in. That is what these kind of trades end up most of the time.. trouble. Ravus crossed his arms, watching the kid seemingly uncomfortable and sulking about the mistake he made. At least he was regretting it... That was the first step of doing better with your life if you learn from your mistakes. To his surprise, the young man didn't just go and continued on his business now, but asked Ravus to come along with him. Why? Ravus knew nothing of moogles or this world so why did this kid want him to come with the other? Was he planning on doing something stupid? Maybe try to gain his trust to steal from him? Well, should the boy even attempt to touch his pockets, Ravus would cut of his fingers with his blade.
However that aside.. the young man was waiting for a ship? Maybe something that helped him travel... through the worlds? From what he understood, this world only had this town in it and getting out of this door was not possible unless you had a ride ready to get somewhere else. The royal blinked. Maybe this young man was his ticket out of here to reach his home?
Taking a deep breath in defeat to the situation he was thrown in, the royal would nod. “I have nothing else to do at the moment.. So I guess I will accompany you on your search for now.”
With that said, the ex-commander followed Zidane, still irritated by the tail, but seemingly slowly getting over his thoughts on how that was even possible to exist. “Pardon me for asking, but... what are you? I have never seen a creature like you. You look like something from a fairy tail from my home.”
Yes, it reminded him of one of these stories for children about magical creatures and knights fighting dragons with talking animals roaming the world.

Zidane always felt it was good to have a buddy when you were in a place all on your own. Trouble did to naturally find people's of the best intentions. And since he was the sort of guy with reasonable intentions at best, the rouge always did to find heaps of trouble. Wandering Traverse Town on your own was one way to find it. While Heartless were a rare find what with the Districts patrolled and Cid’s defense system up and running you could account that any attacks perpetrated by Heartless come due to a recklessness driven by the fatal condition of curiosity. For Zidane it was all about luck. As one would have it heroes had the worst of it. While baddies were inevitably tossed off their high Chocobos on account of arrogance, heroes had the rotten fate of running into trouble by chance! He could be our buying Gyshal Pickles and he'd find himself up a creek without a paddle! And he didn't like Gyshal Pickles, nor was Lindblum anywhere near a stream, unless you counted the root marshes. And he didn't. He couldn't stomach the stuff, let alone be near it. And yet it never failed: he always ran into Granny’s stall! Zidane led Ravus along towards the Second District. Here a large number of shops inhabited the walkways. Shoe shops, suit shops, a hotel and a Gizmo shop! Though who knew what went on in there… Entering through the large gates it was pretty overwhelming. While the buildings were tall and generally common for city dwellers like Ravus and Zidane, but the air in the city was something akin to… home. Traverse Town was a collection of worlds who could no longer find place in the universe. Broken and scattered by the Heartless they came together to tell a story. What story he wasn't quite sure. The rouge grinned as he made way along the streets with the familiar comfort of someone who’s been here before. “ So you been here long? First time?” Ravus just had this air about him, like he was a greenhorn. “ Sticking up for those moogles… if you knew the prices they charged for an upgrade.” And the outrageous tasks of collecting what they, as self respecting blacksmith, should have. The came before what could be considered the most bizarre clothing shop. Clothing with frills, frocks, crimps and curls and some with boots attached to the legs as well as hats with whole birds attached. It looked a gaudy place with curious customers. But the lad about with a tail was among the strangest. He scratched his head at Ravus’ strange question. He looked a bit hurt as his eyes pinched up. “Ouch. Guess I know how Cinna feels. Creature? I'm a person you know.” He put on an annoyed expression. “ Oy, you're sounding a lot like Bartz. I ain't that short ta be called a fairy or something.” He put his hand on his hip and wagged his gloved fingers at the taller male. “ Besides who are you to talk?” He pointed to the top of Ravus’ head. With Zidane at 173cm one supposed he wasn't average in height and with such baggy pants it created more of an illusion on the matter. Ravus was a little over 189cm, so he was pretty tall with those long legs like Squall and Bartz. Did the rogue not even think twice on it? Well why would you think twice of something born attached to you? Said tail curled around a small top hat and tossed it up, the rogue catching it atop his head with a laugh. “ Believe it or not I'm an actor! Cinna would love this place, Ruby too. They made some great costumes.” You'd not think Cinna someone who has any measure of skill, but with a face like his he'd need a few skills to attract ladies. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

[attr="class","parm"] [attr="class","parmimg"] [attr="class","parmcontent"] [attr="class","parmtitle"]The protector [attr="class","parmesan"] Ravus soon realized that this might have been a mistake. The kid- excuse me, the young man just didn't stop talking the moment they entered the other district. Ravus just stayed quiet and let him continue to flap his mouth. He would just stick to answering his questions for now.
“Nay. I woke up here a few days ago. And the business with these moggles was their way of showing their appreciation of me taking care of a problem they had. I know they did it for business, but I still appreciate the time and afford they put into recovering my health.”
It seemed Ravus remark about the others appearance had hit a nerve with Zidane, the boy seeming hurt by those words and immediately telling him so. He didn't quiet understand what the kid meant when he said he was also looking strange. In what way? He didn't have a monkey-tail or anything. Only that magitec-arm. His eyes traveled down to look at it, flexing his metalic fingers for a moment. “Pardon me for hurting your feelings, than.”, he would say with that neutral voice of his.
The kid than started blabbering about him being an actor and of course Ravus didn't understand half of it. He didn't know who this Quina or this Ruby was,so of course he couldn't work with any of what the man told him. The ex-commander just sighed and walked past the boy, his hand placed on the handle of his sword. It was not a gesture of aggression. Ravus knew that this city was not always save, so having your hand ready to draw your weapon could actually save someones live here.
“You are in possession of a ship to travel through the stars, correct? Have you ever been on a world called Eos?”

Zidane tried a few hats on, walking to the mirror between each fitting. Top hats, ball caps and even some silly hats would fine place perched atop his nest of gold. Nothibg seemed to satisfy gin and with good reason! He never found himself given to hats, helmets, hoods or otherwise. These disguises really intruded on what little ego he did have. He stood up and rest his right hand on his hip while the left held out the last hat, which seemed a foreign imitation of a straw hat. He made a face at the prince.
“Pffft.” Tossing his hand in the air. “My feelings aren't hurt.” Per say. “Guy's gotta have pride though. My brothers use those kinda comments as fightin’ words so gotta parson a fellow who takes offense to them.” He smirked. “No worries!” He was quick to forgive. His upbeat nature and shining energy often did to rattle the pace of even the most sour soldier. Ravus should be more conscious of himself. Despite his fifth appendage it didn't seem the rogue had any sort of mechanical enhancements. At his side were two, ordinary blades. At least at first glance… They had no magical aura, no magitek designs to them, not even a projectile attachment like a gunblade would. It was, for lack of a better term: primitive. By now Zidane was trying on a too. He removed his vest and pulled his shirt from its tucked position in his jodhpur. It was neatly tucked in, his jabot tugging loose easily as he snuggles it into his back pocket. He pulled a tight sweater overhead, his ribbon coming loose from his ponytail. When the golden tresses fell he would primp himself in the mirror by tossing out his hair so it laid out over his shoulders. Slender and fair-skinned, if not for the fact Ravus had already had clear determination that Zidane was make, it would have been something to second guess. “Not bad.” He removed the sweater with a gasp and folded it back carefully. When Ravus asked about Invincible and if he's ever been to Eos the rogue would shake his head, grasping the collection of straw colored silk to tie it back. “Can't say I have. I been to a lot of placed, but I usually go where Invincible takes me.” Was that the ship's name? By the way he spoke he sounded like a true-blooded and experienced adventurer. His ragged outfit and youthful features hid his worldly experiences, but more over it was his radiating positivity that seemed to overcome, even humble, most to meet him. While he blustered and postures the thief was friendly and open to helping out strangers come any difficulties. He went to the front to purchase the sweater, motioning for Ravus to follow. “Sorry if that's the place you're looking for. I'm guessing it's tough not being able to reach your destination. The heavens: they are a lot bigger when you're out there.” He laid out a handful of gil, pausing a moment as his tail swayed from side to side. He looked back and grinned. “You'd never think down on the ground, but I suppose this isn't my first rodeo.” Grabbing his paid goods he offered the Eos native a thumbs up. “We can always try! Everyone eventually makes it to their destination.” Though it wasn't always the one you desired. But there was something odd about the rogue. He was too willing to help Ravus. Certainly he expected something?

[attr="class","parm"] [attr="class","parmimg"] [attr="class","parmcontent"] [attr="class","parmtitle"]The protector [attr="class","parmesan"] The boy started looking around in a store with clothes and all Ravus could do was shake his head a little, but he played along, leaning against the wall of the shop, watching the boy putting on some hats. One was obvious.. this boy's head was not made for hats. Well, it seemed that the insult had not reached the others heart and he took the apology thankfully. Ravus didn't want to get on the wrong foot with the kid, still hoping that he could be his gate out of this world and back to his own. After taking a vest and putting it on, the kid would finally continue, mentioning the name of his airship and how he traveled with it. So.. he was blindly jumping through space with it... His plan exploded into his face and all Ravus could do was close his eyes for a moment. He needed a ship that wouldn't randomly take him through the stars. He needed one that had precision to get him to Eos as fast as possible. He couldn't spend weeks or months searching for it.
The kid was enthusiastic however, even though he had no real control over the course of his ship, offering his help anyway and offering some sympathy for the ex-commander. He followed the kid outside with a sigh, his arms crossed once they are outside and could continue their talk there. “Trying might be an option, but I am not one that just would move though the stars without any control over where one ends up.”, he would speak out his concern, seeming to get lost in thoughts for a moment, before he would turn his attention back to the tailed boy. “I can imagine, as a.. man of business, you wouldn't just take me with you without wanting any payment from me. That grin plastered on your face is prove enough of the other thoughts in your head.”
He raised an eyebrow at Zidane. “Have you ever considered trying to find out what caused the ship to have control over YOU, except of you controlling it? Is it's technology maybe to complicated? You have not build it yourself, that is obvious enough and by the way you talk about it, you don't seem to have it for long also. Maybe we can both benefit from working together?”

Zidane could understand Ravus’ trepidation. It was rough playing the role of hitchhiker. As one who traveled their world with the troupe he was used to ending up in places new and amazing that he had never been before. Even visiting the same city was never the same. There was always something to look forward to be it seeing new faces or meeting new adventures! To find both in one place was rare and something not to be forewent. Ravus was right to think Zidane an enthusiastic sort. There was little he did without a spring in his step. Hard to do when new things in your life were abound! With his loot in check the rogue made his way outside. Ravus seemed to be in need of getting back home. He understood that desperation, but he seemed way focused for it.
Zidane felt for him, he really did.
Zidane wasn’t too sure what Ravus though his grin meant. Was he perhaps reading too much into it? “Well -- I’m not saying we can’t find a way, but the idea is fun.” Zidane was positive they could do anything they set their minds to, but that was the rogue for you. “Man of business?” He laughed. “Pops didn’t raise some fool.” he rubbed the back of his head, lips pulled back in a wide smile. “You don’t need a reason to help people and since you need help, I’m helping you. If everyone started charging for help, I’d be out of a job.” What did that mean…? Zidane understood Ravus’ worry, but the Invincible would never do anything to hurt him or any of his friends. He remembered when he was in trouble it had come straight away to help them. He knew it was because Invincible believed in the, believed in what he wanted for the Genomes… no what everyone wanted. It seemed odd a ship would decide where to go, but Zidane did not think they were being all that demanding. Something was here… and he felt that it was maybe for this. Zidane shook his head at Ravus.Zidane shook his head at the question. “No, I didn’t have it long. It belonged to my brother.” Before that it was more than naught Garland’s creation. The despair He isn’t like other ships. "I think it wanted me here because someone needed help. I think that someone is probably you.” It sounded strange, but Zidane spoke this with earnest. He motioned his hand in a beckoning motion before running to the end of the street. He jumped onto the raised wall, tail swaying side to side to check his balance. The extra appendage slung down, the end curling up just enough to keep from brushing the ground. The expressive limb began to dance at the idea of a new adventure. Turning on his heel the rogue throughout his arms, the blonde limb tossing up behind him as well.“What are ya waiting for?!” Zidane cheered Ravus in, pumping his fist into the air. “I may know why I’m here, but I can give it my best shot. We can make the journey and I may not even be able to take you home, but we have to try, right?” The rogue would wave his hand and rush off towards the First District. He was quick, but made sure to stop to allow Ravus to follow if it was something he chose to do. To disembark they needed to leave the main gates of Traverse Town. The action itself was a daunting one. Not only was it the only way out of town but, ever more, it would seem that the barricaded doors warned of the dangers beyond their gates, a horror many that lived in this world faced. Those here have lost their homes to the Darkness, lost their way.But which one was Zidane? Boarding the ship the Rogue made his way through the lower level. The ship was far from anything that Eos could produce. It was smooth, sleek and rumbled near silently as it awaited its new guest. Entering the ship was like stepping into a new world. Achieving such a creation had to cost something, someone, somewhere… Zidane made his way to the main deck which had a full view of the world beyond as if the shop looked upon the stars with eyes and they saw what it did. Soft whispering seemed to fade in and out, like the tired breath of a Traveler if one tried to listen the whispers became silent. The Genome stepped upon the main platform. There were no controls to speak of and only seemed to roar to life once Zidane stepped upon it. He crossed his arms over his chest and gave his gave an amused tail flick. “Alright. I think we can do this now!” What happened? His ship seemed to push off the ground and start to float. “You ready?!” As if answering his call the ship whirred to life and closed up. Zidane turned around to face the main window, which one could only assume was a view screen. This ship was advanced. It was more advanced than anything Eos could have made, to date. After all this thing supposedly flew across worlds. It was possible only thanks to them, Zidane knew. They wanted to travel and help others just like they had helped their own escape. It was perhaps too morbid to ever really explain why Invincible didn't need Mist to fly. It was far from the engine Regent Cid had invented. The ship would start off through the stars. Zidane hadn't much moved from his place. A few foreign words appeared floating around him that he would touch and move, but he did little else.l than stand back against the bar that gave the pilot something to hold onto.“So what's home like?” It had to be something else that this guy wanted to go back, despite the universe being there in front of him. Or… “Is someone waiting for you?” MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

[attr="class","parm"] [attr="class","parmimg"] [attr="class","parmcontent"] [attr="class","parmtitle"]The protector [attr="class","parmesan"] Ravus watched Zidane closely when the other talked to him, the eyebrow from the commander moving up ever so slightly when the other mentioned that the ship had brought him here because of him today? Ship's don't think. They are mindless object's, or at least all machines he knew were. Zidane said that he wanted to help without wanting anything back from the other and he mentioned that the ship once belonged to his brother. That either meant his brother was dead or far away from where the Genome was. The royal watched how the boy jumped on a higher position and waved him to follow him. That shouldn't be a problem, but the royal hesitated for a moment. He wanted tp believe that this child would not betray him, but the part of him that had been under the rule of Niflheim so long.. the part of him that had been all by itself told him to not trust the kid. He shook his head for a moment and decided it was the best to go after the young man. Ravus was very agile and fast, mostly from the arm he had been given and the power it held. It was far easier to catch up with the kid thanks to the boost and the ship that awaited him was actually... something he had not expected to find in a world like this. It was made from something he had never seen, a material unknown to him in any form.
Uncertainty flashed over his face, but backing down was something Ravus never considered an option. His boots stepped onto the ship and inside off it, eyes trailing over his surroundings with curiosity and wariness. Once he reached the bridge, he found the boy already in the middle, no pults or other mechanics anywhere to be seen. Yet, the ship started just with the young man standing in the middle, like his body was the key to turn the machines to full blast.
Ravus had never seen anything so advanced in his life and it did show by the surprise in his eyes. As Zidane settled himself in a more comfortable position, Ravus would walk over to the edge, his human hand touching the surface carefully, trailing along the substance for a moment, his magitec arm neatly placed behind his back. It was a gesture of respect he had learned in his youth. Why he used it in front of these surroundings, he didn't know actually.
He turned his head only when Zidane started talking to him again, asking him about his home. His hand would let go of the wall again, both arms returning to his sides. His eyes met the blue ones of the younger boy, both of them exchanging gazes before he would open his mouth to speak.
“No.”
Ravus could imagine that this answer wouldn't satisfy the youth. Shaking his head for a moment with a sigh, he would try to find a way to explain it to him as simple as possible. “I don't have anything to return to in my home. The only thing that drives me to it is the wish to see it in peace. That is all I desire.”
Without his sister and now kingdom to return to, what else was there for him left in Eos? He had fulfilled his calling and followed it to the bitter end. Why he had been reborn, he didn't know. “Peace... my sister always dreamed of a world free of chaos and destruction. I hope her dream has come true. It would bring my heart quietude.“

Zidane was an enigma. Despite his roguish delinquency and perchance to steal from he rich and defend the poor he was no hero, nor a vigilante. He wasn’t a brigand, despite being a crook. He didn't cheat, but liked to win. He was a contradiction that broke every systematic belief a person had when it came to the stereotype of thief. He didn't want to save the kingdom, the responsibility was thrust upon him. He didn't have a princess fall in love with him, he fell in love with her… At first sight? No. She was another cute face in the crowd to show off to. It wasn't until she had climbed above that crowd of he down power did he notice her. He didn't want all the riches in the world or to save the peasant from his poverty. He lived for the adventure and excitement of seeing a new world. He went to the moon and back and yet still he found greater things with each, passing day. Despite everything he… never changed. He came to see the world for what it was and all it had to offer. It tried to call him up and spit him out, leaving the youth for dead and broken. All around did it come to pass that the shifting tempests of past, present, and future sought to take from him that which he had been. But nothing could change him, because he was always what he was. He just could, now, better express the song in his heart. When Ravus presented his calling, his reason to find home Zidane knew… The rogue pushed off the bar and looked to Ravus before holding out his gloved hand to shake. “ I'll get you there comrade.” A brother in arms. Zidane had lost family, but he had also gained many more. A world at war, that suffered no peace, left any man willing to escape it. But Ravus wanted to return and save it. “ ...it isn't what they say. Whether they call you a hero or a villain.” Zidane began. “ These are all things people say after the fact. What's important is the story and how if the end is satisfactory. In a play, most of the times, there isn't ever a side. No good guys. No bad guys. It's the decisions. No matter what those decisions do, we gotta be sure we stay true to ourselves.” He stood tall and patted his gloved hand over his chest. That was the feeling coming from Zidane. It was a disheartening sensation for those who have lost or, before, quit in the face of difficult tasks. Young, brash yet confident and positive. Zidane was a good person. He wasn't perfect, heck it didn't even look like he was human in the way Ravus knew. He had an honest way about him, despite his roguish nature. He was honest and spoke from his heart. It was almost unsettling, after facing so much crsis to face someone without ulterior motives. “ I wanna get home too, but some of my friends are in danger as well.” he turned his back to Ravus, the boy’s curled tail swaying behind him as he kicked his right boot behind his left heel. “ I get the feeling Invincible is trying to show me something.” He folded his arms behind his head and stared at the lettering in front of him. Though it was in an illegible, almost alien script… wait. Did that make Zidane? Well Ravus was too in a sense. None of them were from these worlds. They had all found themselves visitors in a strange land. Being alien didn't seem all that wild. “ I gotta find my brother. Make sure he's okay. I got this feeling…” The lettering read a distressing message in Terran. . . . Soon enough they were on their way. If not for the screen before then showing the shift from land to space one could have never known. Invincible's movement was smooth. It has no true engine to speak of. Whatever was used as a power output has no need to increase or shift when it took to the heavens. Zidane stood there, not even seeming to pilot it as his arms crossed over his chest. But there did seem to be a map presented of a partially discovered space. Traverse Town was very clearly displayed. “ Since we don't have a destination, we'll have to do out best.” He motioned for Ravus to come closer. “ Just pick a spot that feels right. Invincible should be able to get us there in a jiffy. What's there is a whole other game, so we gotta be prepared. I've seen some ships out there that act like pirates.” Little did Zidane realize was that a number of those ships out there were manned by Heartless armies or had been actual ship type Heartless! Wherever Ravus decided to go, Invincible would fly! MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS
