Raid [002] - Review

This section would probably have a lot more going for it if the raid proceeded beyond introductions. As it stands, gotta judge it for what's there. As far as attacks go, Dark were a lot more aggressive, both Xemnas and Terranort hitting home with their attacks. However, because of some timely buffs made by team Helios's Ambition, the damage they could do was reduced. This is not to mention Maleficent's Meteors, which dealt quite a bit of damage to Dieter at least. On the flip side, you have Team Ambition, who seemed to only get off a couple of damaging attacks and only one was seen to hit, even if it hit at full force due to Xemnas not having magical protection. I'm going to have to give this to Dark for their more aggressive approach.

So, I particularly liked the strategy employed here. Namely, the strategy employed by Neutral. The instant they were attacked, they immediately opened with buffs to help out Ysera and each other. While not particularly damaging, it would have stymied Dark's ability to deal damage to them. The only one who seemingly didn't do anything was Suly and even she managed to catch Rina off-guard with her presence, albeit unintentionally. I particularly liked how Helios's Ambition seemed to work like a well-oiled machine, whereas only Terranort and Xemnas seemed to be doing anything to defend the world and actually did pretty good, managing to surprise and even trap their opponents. However, Rina was busy getting Suly (admittedly on Maleficent's orders) and Maleficent was essentially carpet-bombing the entire area and letting Kingdom Hearts sort 'em out. While in-character, I feel it would've hurt Dark more than helped them, not to mention how mad both Norts now are at the Mistress of Evil. All in all, Neutral had more style and skill in responding to Dark's attacks, while Dark seemed to just move in and Attack Attack Attack, with some exception to Terranort and Xemnas. I'm giving this to Neutral for their solid strategy going in and their cohesion as a team.

Both teams, in terms of descriptive writing, did very well in my opinion. Very solid writing and there was very little confusion as to what was going on. On descriptive writing alone, it's very difficult to determine the winner. So, let's go to Sportsmanship. Well, as mentioned before, Neutral had a very strong cohesion among the members of Helios's Ambition with only Suly being the odd doll out. Dark was... not, to say the least. In fact, it was split between the Norts and Maleficent and Rina. The Norts did their best to defend the world from interlopers while Rina was away trying to grab Suly, which was up in the air and Maleficent, who sent rocks down on everyone including people who supposedly were on her side. Not very sportsman-like, even for a villain. I'm going to have to give this to Neutral.

I feel like... If given more time this would have turn out to be an interest battle instead of merely a battle of defenses, but yeah that's just my personal view point.
Aside from that the battle went okay, But in terms of the actual battle... well things could have easily gotten sour for Helios Ambition with both Terra and our resident former leader of organization 13 bringing in quite the fire power on the first half. That's not even adding those blasted meteors.. Yeah if Helios didnt manage to cast those protective spells things could have gone a hell lot worse than it did. A hell lot, I mean one of them would be very much dead... Sorry Dieter but ehh... the few chances of retribution you guys got still didnt outweigh the amount of damage the other team did...

Well aside from being clearly and very nearly outmatched in fire power. Im glad to see the type of strategy Ysera's team incorporated in order to avoid deaths or...
heavy injury. Shame it didnt stop them from getting injured but at the very least it wasnt life threatening or heavy. So that's a plus! I love how you guys used protect and shell at the start of the battle. That really helped in softening the blows you got from team darkness. ^^; As a healer myself I can safely verify protect's efficiency.
Sooo my vote goes to neutrals for this. They poked the inner healer in me, what can I say? Though.... *glares at dieter* He also poked my inner screaming at eating those meteors.

This one is going to hurt me, very much so...since you all know I'm a sucker for good writing style, which...both groups have in spades. SPADES. So thats a good thing. Especially with the little drama with Terra attacking both Syel and Cass. Dieter's reactions actually made my day there. That...is clearly one very pissed dark knight~
