Zidane was the sort of guy that services he could get away with for free. Sometimes his habits made enemies of those around him, other times it endeared him to the worst sort of crowd. As of late his relationship to a certain princess had matured his lascivious flirting with danger and thievery. While it had not subdued the rogue's nature completely the bohemian has taken to singing sea shanties with pirates in bars rather than joining them on the high skies or seas for a round of treasure hunting. He had never been one for pillaging so he was known to sabotage the odd routine, but was otherwise a welcome face in the taverns for being able to turn a tune or drink a fellow crook under the table with the best of them!
But there was a price for his romantic ventures as highwayman-in-waiting as it painted him an enemy to those of the dappled islands of Neverland. He was an adult and one of the worst kinds. When he was young being a pirate had been a fanciful dream of freedom and merriment, but as he grew up under the wing of a honorable bandit the raucous and self-serving antics of the drunken rabble was ugly, binding, and hardly the whimsical dream plays had made their lives out to be.
Even as he stood there atop the tables, sticky with drink and weighed by the unconscious body of an exhausted sailor, the bandit would sing as he played his violin.
"♪Do what you want, cause a pirate is free! You are a pirate!♪" He would rile up the crowd, having them sing and dance along, eventually having the whole tavern in an uproar! "♪We got us a map, to lead us to a hidden box, all covered in locks ~!♪"
As he sang he took notice of the group in the corner eyeing the tailed menace. See aside from his shanties and drinking ability Zidane was also known for his pickpocketing which led many to keep their hands buried in their pockets around the body, but this time it seemed Zidane's unquenchable love of mischief and adventure had led him to plucking a missive from the hold of a local group. Quite well known for their short-tempered captain who was afraid of clocks.
Zidane danced his way towards the exit before he was up, up and away! A table was flipped, and three men, as the rouge booked it for the door and down the docks.
"GET HIM! THEE CAP'N'LL 'AVE OUT 'EADS!" One of them roared as they chased Zidane down with Cutlass' in hand, one even firing his flintlock, just as the thief turned the corner and down an alley before he shimmied up a pile of debris to the roof to lose his entourage.
Soon Zidane was well on his way towards the forest to make his escape. His chasers seemed to make it to the edge of the wood, coming to a stop, rather concerned by the beasts and Lost Boys... With the folded missive in hand Zidane seemed pleased as punch as he unfolded it to reveal a map of Neverland, something very few had and even less could recognize. It had been stolen from the local pirates, the largest ship once holding this treasure in their very hands. With it he could find the various locales and the treasure that was rumored to be protected by the Lost Boys.
