Lauriam
Nickname:
Marluxia, Ex-Lord of the Castle, Flowerboy
Age:
25
Gender:
Male
Job:
Assassin/Ex-Organization Member/Dandelion
Race:
Human
Side:
Light
Home World:
Unknown
Family:
Strelitzia - Sister
Personality:
Somebody and Nobody. Similar bodies but completely different characters, sometimes even cut memories. Both are kinda true for Lauriam. Marluxia was a cruel being, ready to kill if something or someone was in his way of achieving his goals. He was narcissistic, controlled and manipulative, thanks to his knowledge about the heart and psychology. He didn't have any memories of his past, but a connection to keyblades he still felt as a nobody, leading to his obsession with Roxas and Sora's powers.
Unlike Marluxia however, Lauriam is a kind and gentle soul, ready to aid those in need. Lauriam doesn't like seeing people sad or worried, trying to cheer them up with his humor and analyzing them thoughtfully, before speaking in carefully chosen words, should the other person be on edge. Even with him still showing some signs of narcissism, Marluxia's personality has been turned upside down mostly with his heart having returned to what it used to be.
Due to Lauriam's kind nature, the actions of his past still haunt him to a degree, the young man trying his best to aid those of this timeline as much as he can. Since he was a leader of the Dandelions, he carries knowledge of the old keybladers and the datarealm, the man able to use Computers well and create strategies fitting to the current situation he is being thrown into.
He holds no resentment against Sora or his friends, but has a great dislike to anything having to do with Xehanort. He also has a special spot for Strelitizia in his heart, the mention of her turning him rather thoughtful and sad easily.
History:
Many things about him are a mystery. The name Lauriam has been carried by a young man once that had become a leader of the Dandelions after the great keyblade war, though something had happened that seemed to have erased most of his memory about the past he might have had a long, long time ago, just like the ability to carry a keyblade. No one knows how he was able to live that long. Maybe he had been sent into the future by some spell?
His past being mostly a blank page, he doesn't talk about it much, but the way he ended up the most recent events must have been rather terrible ones to turn him from such a polite young man into the cold-hearted creature he is now. He mostly ignored any question about his home or family, if someone actually dared to ask him about it. His world was eaten by darkness, taking him down with it to be reborn as a nobody that was found shortly after by Xigbar and dragged into the Organization. Marluxia followed the orders of the organization but had a dislike of their leader the moment he entered, like he could sense that something about what they did was not quite right. Of course, he would keep it to himself, playing along in the organization and working his way up.
It was until he met Roxas, that he started to actually get an idea of how to gain what he wanted. Marluxia was never one that liked to work for others, but make THEM to follow his bidding. He accepted to train Roxas for combat, but the moment he saw the weapon his Master wanted in action, he would soon ask himself what HE could do with such a powerful weapon in his hands. His obsession with the weapon only grew the more time passed, until he was ordered to take care of Castle Oblivion with a few other people, him being the Lord of this place and over Namine, the witch of memories. Of course the Assassin accepted, already having his own plans in mind when he heard about the target.
A keyblader under his power? With this power he could easily overthrow the organization together with his partner in crime, Larxene. Everything seemed to run smoothly in the beginning, Sora being manipulated from Namine like Marluxia wanted her to, every piece in this puzzle fitting perfectly, until Axel betrayed him and Larxene. He had been so close to get Sora under his control, but Axel stepped in his way, telling him he would destroy the traitor like he was ordered. Marluxia however would not accept defeat, trying to manipulate Sora till the end, until the blade he so much wanted would pierce through his chest to send him back to Oblivion.
His death was only short, Xehanort using his ability to travel through time to get Marluxia and make him part of the seekers, turning him half Xehanort in the process. Lauriam was mainly taking care of Corona and Rapunzel, causing confusion in the ranks of Sora and his friends when they visited the world. He helped Gothel in her search for Rapunzel, infecting her with darkness to give her the power to get what she wanted. After Gothel's failure however, he turned her into a Heartless to fight Sora, seeing that her form was not enough to take him down, he retrated however, returning to the side of the other seekers.
As he spoke to some other members, Larxene and Demyx on the cliff, they were also visited by Xemnas and Luxord, the old superior telling them they had an important role to play, since they are all able to use a keyblade.
Later on, in the fight of light and darkness, Marluxia teamed up with Larxene and Luxord to fight the keybladers. Sadly, all three of them lost, Marluxia breaking down after his defeat, remembering things about his long lost past. After sharing his thoughts and thanking Sora, he vanished, ready to return to his human form.

"Know your place! You would chain your heart with false memories? Cast your heart's freedom aside? You turn from the truth because your heart is weak. You cannot defeat me!"
"Drown in the heart-torn world of nothingness! I shall scatter your heart to the empty winds!"
"Your Heart shall be scattered!"
"Do you want to scream?"
"So this is the heart of a hero!"

"My Heart remembers how to feel."

“This is not what I wanted.”, the man murmured to himself, looking out at the wasteland in front of him, covered by the structures Xehanort had created and all the shattered keyblades on the ground from the great battle. Having been forced against the destructive mass of the heartless, many of them have broken under the pressure, their remains all over the place. He kneeled down, carefully taking one of the pieces, blue eyes focused on the key-chain that still hung at the end, the chain clattering with the movements he made as he picked it up.
“If I just would have known earlier - maybe I could have done something. It's still hazy but I remember.. I remember who I am.”
The long lost Dandelion shook his head slightly, carefully getting back up and admiring the piece in his hands. It was a key-chain from one of Ira's followers, most of it having lost it's color from the years in the sand. He was back in his old attire, his long hair moving in the wind that always existed in this world. A storm was going to come soon and Lauriam knew he couldn't stay here for too long.
“Sister. What should I do?”, he asked mostly himself, his eyes focusing on the sky above him, watching a few clouds move by, his attention shifting to the dark clouds that formed in the distance, foreshadowing the sandstorm that was arriving soon at the place he was standing at right now. His hand clutched the chain firmly, before he knelled down again and carefully set it on the ground, both hands taking some of the sand and putting it over the charm like he was burying it.
“I will find the one responsible for all of this. There must be a way to fix all of this. The Masters couldn't have wanted it to end like this.”
Putting his hands in his pockets, he turned on his heel, opening a portal to leave this forsaken world, but he stopped once more, turning to the buried charm on the ground one last time with a sad expression on his face. “... I'm sorry my friends. Forgive me.”
