the fiery spell fencer
292 Words |
Hono smirks and held her sheath high up in the sky. "Ah ha!" She was happy with the results of the battle. "Those bastards are so weak!" She chuckled turning to her partner. Hono used her left hand to clean some sweat from her forehead before putting the sheath back onto her hip. Surprising, the heartless left nothing behind, no blood at all. Her blade was perfectly clean. She let out a heavy yawn. "Damn, they bored me to death..." she chuckled trying to make humor out of the yawn.
"Heartless..." Even though she was explained what they were prior it still didn't really make sense. "How can they have no hearts!?" She asks quickly, though it wouldn't be the weirdest thing she's seen. The fact that there were billions of different worlds was the strangest thing. "nevermind... I'll just go with it." She sighed. What came next was her taking her hood off. It was weird, Hono's left foot stepped back nervously before shaking her head. Obviously, Vaneera wasn't a bad guy, Though her appearance said otherwise. None the less, Hono wouldn't press for information it.
Hono peeked her head down a nearby alleyway. She saw people still continuing on the main sidewalk. "Damn, they didn't notice us huh? Guess it shows how busy the city is..." Hono looked down at the sword sheath, then back up. "Tell me about your sword." She said a bit curious. "Those... bug things seemed to be attracted to it, and it's obviously magical, I want one~," She said a bit envious of the keyblade. "Though, my rapier is pretty reliable!" she patted the sword on her hip quickly. She crossed her arms, fixing a few stray strands of hair, waiting on Vaneera to respond.

Vaneera couldn't help but laugh a little at the confidence that Hono was showing. Fortunately these Heartless weren't very strong. But some of them could be quite dangerous. "Yeah, we handled that pretty well. But be careful, okay? Some Heartless are a lot stronger than this... And the greater the Darkness is, even seemingly weak Heartless will become something else entirely. Don't fight them alone, if you can help it.", she would advise her newfound ally. Still, in the end it was Hono's choice on what to do from here on out. Vaneera couldn't decide anything for her. But hopefully this battle offered useful insight into the type of threat that the Heartless posed. They were unnatural enemies, after all.
Of course, there was a bit of a misunderstanding that had formed over the terminology. Hono wondered how these creatures could have no Hearts, but that wasn't quite right. "Ah, actually. It's not that they don't have Hearts... I think the easiest way to explain it is, they don't have bodies. They are Hearts that have succumbed to Darkness. Did you see what happened to the ones I defeated with my Keyblade? They turned into Hearts that floated away. That means they were purified of Darkness. I'm hoping that means they get to return to their original form!", she would elaborate, ending with a smile.
After that, Hono expressed her surprise at Vaneera's appearance, though she tried to play it off casually. The Keyblade Wielder noticed it, and decided not to comment on it unless Hono asked. But she at least tried to show that she wasn't offended. The next thing that the Fencer noticed was that the people out in the streets didn't seem to notice the fight that took place. "It's for the best, though. Most people can't handle these things, and if they notice them, usually the Heartless notice them in return... Better for them to think nothing out of the ordinary is going on, I guess?"
That aside, the Fencer would finally ask about Vaneera's weapon. The Keyblade! And how she wanted one. Well, Vaneera wasn't sure how to help with the matter of getting one just yet, but... "It's a Keyblade!", she would say the name, then summoning it once more to show off to Hono. "It's my personal weapon. No one else can use it... Though that's not to say that other people can't get their own Keyblades.", the Keyblade Wielder then explains calmly. "It's a weapon to help defend the Light... But it also marks you as an enemy of the Heartless. They're attracted to the power it holds. But you know, it can do a lot of useful things too! Not only is it really effective in combat, but it can unlock anything!"
Vaneera further elaborates with a grin, obviously proud of her weapon. It was pretty plain to tell that she regarded it as something legendary, and didn't mind the downsides of owning one. "I'd help you get your own Keyblade, but... To be honest, I'm not really that much of an expert yet. Maybe one day I can help, though!"
Always best to think positive, right?------- Hono

Hono nods at Vaneera. "Alright, thanks for the warning," Hono said in response to her advice. Hono may have acted high and mighty, she was scared of the heartless. The fact that these things lived everywhere gave the creeps. What if they were in Twilight Town! "I just hope there are none in Twilight Town!" Hono said quickly. Her little brother wouldn't last a second around these things. "Might be a good sign I've never seen em huh?" She said laughing keep the mood positive.
Hono listened to Vaneera explain Heartless. It... didn't make a lot of sense but Hono had to go with it. She put her hands on head and looked down before sighing. "Ugh! That's confusing as hell! Shouldn't they be called Bodyless then!?" She said in a sharp tone, Of course, none of it was targeted at Vaneera, it was more at whoever named those silly bug creatures. "At least there is hope for them..." she was glad their hearts were sent back to the place they belonged. But what about the heartless Hono defeated? Would they be permanently dead? She shook her head. She didn't wanna think about that right now.
Hono nodded in agreement. "If the public knew about these things... It would be bad... I'll stay quiet about it." She told the wielder with a genuine smile. "If I see any of em I'll kick their asses~" The fencer cooed happily in a joking way.
"Keyblade..." She repeated the world a few times to herself to remember it. "I see... Seems pretty useful." She complimented the girl once again. "defend the light, sounds like a fairy tale or something" She said crossing her arms listening to her speak. " One day you'll help me? That sounds good~" she said with another smile. Hono wasn't good at making small talk. "so... Um what do we do now-" She asks awkwardly rubbing her neck

Vaneera would give a calm nod at Hono's thanks for the warning. She mostly didn't want the Fencer to go underestimating them just because this fight went well; Heartless were ruthless creatures, and some of them could end up quite powerful indeed... For that reason, she didn't want to be responsible for instilling a false sense of security in anyone. But it seems like Hono understood more than the Keyblade Wielder first anticipated. Even going so far as to hope that none of them were in a place called Twilight Town... Hmm. She had never heard of that place before.
Vaneera crossed her arms, trying to think on that. Maybe she just needed to look it up later? Oh well... She wasn't going to continue being silent. "Tell you what! If any do pop up, just let me know and I can help you clear them out!", the red-haired girl would then offer with a grin. With that out of the way though, the Fencer would express her confusion over the naming sense of these creatures. Since they didn't have bodies, it would make sense to call them something else other than Heartless... And to an extent, she could get that reasoning. It was pretty odd.
"To be honest, it's never made much sense to me either. But the name has stuck, so that's simply what we call them now. I guess 'Heartless' fits since they don't have an ounce of compassion or empathy, though. I've heard of some people being able to control them if they succumb to Darkness... But it's a double-edged sword, because the Heartless will just as likely turn on you when you're at your weakest.", Vaneera then explains. Blacknore's research on this subject had been quite extensive, and that knowledge was in turn passed down to her.
Vaneera couldn't help but chuckle a little when Hono then said that 'defending the light' sounded like something out of a fairytale. That's pretty much what they were for Vaneera... They were legendary stories about heroes wielding magical weapons, and they were like bedtime stories for her. "Well, that's how I've always heard it explained! To be honest, it's pretty unreal even to me... But now that I have it, I'm owning up to the responsibility it brings with it."
Vaneera would seem a little more serious now... For a moment, anyway. The awkwardness set in as it seemed that neither of them had an idea of what to do now. "Umm... Well, I guess I could give you a tour of San Fransokyo? You seem new here and all. Plus if you want something to eat, I can buy you a meal! Seems fair after you helped me out with that fight."
Vaneera tried to extend a friendly offer, now she just had to wait for Hono's response.------- Hono

Hono raised an eyebrow. "I'm not sure how I'll go about calling you..." she chuckled. "Is cross-world communication a thing?" she chuckled a bit. "I'd love to have that." her chuckles turned into laughter. Hono still couldn't reliably travel between worlds. She sighed a little. "I still can't really travel reliably." The pink-haired girl flicked a bit of hair out of her face. A couple of white strands were visible.
"I'll call them heartless," She told the key bearer. Hono shivered a bit at the word darkness. She felt something inside of her act up. Maybe her negative emotion eating at her. The fact she had to kill Snow White just... hurt, she had to though. She shook her head and went back to talking to Vannerra. "Maybe I could control the darkness and tell 'em to go away." She said crossing her arms, throwing out some random ideas.
"I'm new to all these multiple worlds and heartless things," she told her new friend. "I'm just... not sure what I wanna do anymore." She let out a sigh. "I think I just wanna... see what other worlds are out there" she explained.
"Food sounds damn good right now!" she chuckled. "I'm so damn I'm hungry," Hono told the girl before laughing. "gimmie something good!" She looked back at Vannera as she walked down the alley walking towards the main street. "How about this? If you visit Twilight Town... I'll buy you lunch~" She turned and walked backward before sticking her tongue out.

Well, that more or less confirmed it. Hono was from another world! Probably named Twilight Town, if she had to guess. Or at least that was a name of a place IN that world. Hmm. Well, she'd shrug that thought off. "Hey, if you're really in need, you can find a way! Otherwise, just avoid people with overwhelming Darkness... They can be really dangerous, and they're often in control of the Heartless. Anyone else is fine, including working with them in battle! I got faith in you.", the Keyblade Wielder explained. Still, the fact that there wasn't a reliable method of transportation for Hono was a concerning prospect... Considering she was stranded in a new world entirely.
"Well, maybe while you're here, we can try to figure out a way for you to travel to and from worlds easily?", Vaneera offers. Hono wouldn't be in that much danger here, thankfully. But she couldn't exactly force the fencer to stay if she had more pressing things to attend to. At least for now though, they could enjoy a meal after a hard fought battle. Normally Vaneera wouldn't make a stop like this if she was patrolling alone, but... Hono ended up coming along for the ride. She wasn't going to force the girl to match a ridiculous pace that she had gotten used to.
Still... One thing to go over real quick... "I'd be careful with using the Darkness, too. It's true enough that you can make the Heartless listen to your commands, but it's like I said... They can turn against you too. Too much of it is a bad thing, and you can end up losing yourself in it. I can't really tell you what to do, but I can at least make you aware of the dangers, and advise that you don't try it."
Vaneera explained, seeming a little more serious now. But... That aside! "Heh, I'll take you up on that offer for lunch if I'm ever in Twilight Town, though!"
Eventually, they would stop at a cafe due to Vaneera leading the way. It seemed like a nice little place with at least decent quality food. The red-haired girl would motion to the menu listed over the counter. "Anything sound good to you? I'll pay for it. My treat."
She offers, and then waits for a response, giving Hono some time to think it over.______ Hono

the fiery spell fencer 280 Words | San Fransokyo was so vastly different from Twilight Town. The people, the buildings, almost everything. Though Hono did wonder if all worlds were this civilized. There had to be some that were mostly uninhabitable. The millions of possibilities for different worlds was so fascinating, that was her drive. She listened to Vaneera's kind words, she had faith in her? How kind of her. After that Vannera could notice a quick yet warm smile. It always nice to have friends and Hono could see Vaneera being a nice friend to have.
Hono had made some assumptions about the key bearer. She seemed very kind yet had a strong sense of duty. Hono wanted to know more but had to ease into her history. She didn't wanna force Vaneera into an uncomfortable situation, assuming she had a rough backstory. Hono laughed a little. "If you know of a way I can travel, go right ahead," She said, challenging the other girl a little bit.
What came next was a warning. The darkness seemed very powerful but dangerous. Hono trusted Vaneera, simply nodding. "Alright, I won't do that" She rolled her eyes. "I'll just kick their asses so hard they disappear for good!" She balled her right fist and slammed it into her left hand, chuckling afterward. "So how long have you been fighting those nasty things?" she raised an eyebrow curiously.
Hono looked at the menu she was handed. Her eyes scanned the menu rather quickly. Her eyes spotted a food item that stuck out. It was a simple burger. Hono pointed, "Just get me the burger and a soda," She said letting out a quick yawn. "You come here a lot?"

Vaneera grinned lightly at Hono's little challenge when it came to finding a way to travel. "Well, since you're new around here, I suppose I should tell you... San Fransokyo is the city of innovation! You can find all sorts of amazing technology here. I even know some of the best spots to start your search.", the Keyblade Wielder explains. Although she wasn't aware of anyone inventing a way to travel between worlds... San Fransokyo was -- at least in Vaneera's opinion -- one of the best places to start for that.
After that though, Hono seemed to take the warning seriously, which Vaneera was thankful for... Last thing anyone needed was another person losing themselves to Darkness. That element, or force... It was unforgiving. The power was amazing, but it could swallow you up if you were careless for even a second. She didn't want to see that happen to Hono. Still, there was no sense in letting Hono see just how freaked out Vaneera was about such a prospect, so when the fencer says that she'd just focus on 'kicking their asses' instead... "That's the spirit! Long as you have some fight in you, you won't lose your way for long."
It didn't take her new friend too long to ask the question of just how long Vaneera had been fighting these things... Hmm, now that was a tough question. Vaneera crosses her arms. "Would you believe not for very long at all? I've been training all my life for it, but I've only just started all of the patrolling and fighting recently. Thanks to getting that Keyblade also just as recently. I haven't even been at it for a whole month yet."
Vaneera explains truthfully. Still, just how prepared she was... It was easy to suspect that she had been a veteran at this for a lot longer. But then there was her young age too. Whatever type of training that Vaneera was put through -- it must have been something else... She was practically a fully trained warrior already. Maybe not a master of combat or magic, but certainly not a novice either.
Still, the somewhat tense atmosphere was broken as Hono put in a simple order for a burger and a soda, which Vaneera immediately bought, and took the time to secure a table for them to sit at and relax while the food was being prepared. Hono asks if Vaneera made a habit out of coming here.
"Ah, every now and then, yeah. Most of the time I just stop in at the nearest restaurant I can find. Food is important for keeping your energy up after all, and a long patrol and combat can really take it out of you. I probably know this city like the back of my hand by now.", she explains with a smile.
"Which also means I know some places that you can stay. At least until you get things sorted out when it comes to traveling back home -- or decide to move on, whichever comes first.", Vaneera then adds. Though she seemed a bit sad at the thought of Hono leaving and not coming back.
"No pressure, of course.", Vaneera admits.------ Hono

the fiery spell fencer
396 Words | Hono nodded. The city of innovation huh? Hono did wonder just what kind of inventions were created in this world. Words seemed to have vastly different technology. This world was a massive metropolis while the dwarf woodlands were more medieval, it was really fascinating. "I'll look around, if not I can drink of this potions." She reached into her small backpack, she pulled out a leather flask, it seemed extremely old and a bit unsettling. "One sip of these and It'll take me where ever I ask, I asked to go to someplace new... and here I am," He said, quickly putting the flask back into the bag. She couldn't let anything happen to it. "It's a little unreliable, so I'm looking for a better way you know, plus this could run out if I'm not conservative" Hono sighed, if she ran out it would be trouble, she could be trapped in a foreign world! Quickly she shook her head
Hono chuckled, "Yep! I won't let any of those heartless things attack my world!" She said balling up her fist before waving it in front of herself. After a couple of seconds, her hands returned to her hips. "Really? I guess we're similar then," she flashed a quick smile at Vaneera. "I trained my self in fencing when I was little, funny enough, magic just kinda came naturally" she explained. "Damn, not even a month? I'm pretty impressed~ You might even be able to beat me~" she used her right elbow to nudge Vaneera playable, clearly joking.
The keyblade was interesting, a key that could fend off the heartless, it seemed impractical, but Vaneera made it work. Hono knew she should be returning home soon, though, she was unsure of how time worked between the worlds.
Hono spoke up. "You really know the city that well? I'd get lost..." she rubbed her neck, her cheeks flushing a soft pink due to embarrassment. "It's massive, You never stop amazing me" she chuckled a bit.
"Oh?" she tapped her chin thinking about the proposal. "Why the heck not? I don't have anything better to do, sooooo. Sure, though I'm not sure how long I'll stay, maybe a day or two."
"I appreciate it!" she flashed a genuine smile. Hono was glad to have met someone so friendly and helpful. A much different encounter than that Evil Queen.

Hono mentioned that she'd take a look around, and if she didn't have any luck, she'd just use some potions... Vaneera arches a brow at that. Potions? But sure enough, they looked like the real deal. Hono didn't seem the type to lie, plus come on, Vaneera was one of the few people in her world that could use Magic AND wield a Keyblade! The impossible became very possible in circumstances like that. "Wow... That sounds convenient and surprisingly inconvenient at the same time."
It was certainly a marvel at those potions worked the way they did. But obviously the concern was running out, and of course not really having a good way to travel from Point A to Point B. You were basically just picking a random direction and going however many miles along that direction. At least once you KNEW where to go, it was a nice instantaneous method of transportation...
That aside, Hono mentions that they were pretty similar, pointing out that she was self-taught when it came to fencing and magic came naturally to her. "Wow... It sure sounds like we are similar! The only real difference is that I had someone teaching me how to use magic, and how to fight with a sword. Still, it's a bit..."
Vaneera brings a hand to her chin, trying to think of how to describe it. "The Keyblade is pretty different from a sword... You'd probably not think that just from looking at it. But there's almost no weight to it. But it packs a serious punch! And it's almost like it's guiding you in battle..."
She tried her best to describe the weirdness involved with the weapon.
"But all of the unusual properties it has aside, it's definitely the most reliable weapon I've ever had. The only real downside is that I'm basically starting from scratch when it comes to learning how to use it."
That probably seemed like a ludicrous claim, considering just how at ease Vaneera seemed while she was using it in battle earlier. But she was telling the genuine truth. In any case, Hono would accept the proposal of a place to stay.
"Got it! So the first few places I know of off the bat... Blacknore's Facility -- he's my Master. It's probably the most defensible location in this entire city. Failing that, there's Yachiyo's place. She lives in a pretty big house all by herself, and she doesn't mind taking in guests when I send them her way."
She thinks it over a bit more.
"I could also ask my parents if it'd be alright for you to stay there, too. Depends on which one sounds the most convenient to you, I guess!"
All that said, she'd let Hono think it over. There was quite a bit to absorb there.

the fiery spell fencer
263 Words | She rubbed her neck laughing a bit at the comment about her potions. "Yeah, it kinda sucks but it's whatever." she rubbed her neck nervously. It was a bit of a hassle but it was all she had.
Hono raised an eyebrow when she said they were similar. She listened. "Hey, maybe we could train together, I use to always go underground and train alone!" she explained. It was always nice to have some extra help whilst training. "I'm rather impressed with your fighting style," she complimented the girl.
The keyblade had a lot of strange things to it, it was essentially bound to you, and it came when you wanted it to. They were full of mystery. Not even Vaneera was sure how they were obtained.
"It's nice to have friends in unknown places," She gave a soft giggle. "You know this place, without you, I'd be so lost if I didn't find you" Hono really did luck out meeting someone who was actually helpful and kind. Sanfransokyo was massive so getting lost was inevitable.
"I really do appreciate all your help Vaneera," Hono had to decide where she would stay. She knew neither one of them, so it was pretty much a coin toss. "I say Yachiyo, Your master sounds interesting, but I think I'd get distracted and stay too long." She said crossing her arms. "But I'd love to meet him sometime!" Hono smiled. "Maybe you could give him a good word about me and let him train me~" She let out a teasing remark with a quick chuckle afterward.

Hono admitted to it being less than ideal. But it was about the best method of travel she had on hand at the moment... Hmm. Hopefully they could do something about that in the near future. If there was any place where you needed incredible technology built, it was harder to find a better place than San Fransokyo. At least in Vaneera's honest opinion.
That aside, the fencer suggested that they train together. Vaneera didn't have to think too long on that. "Train together? Sure, why not! I think it'll be pretty helpful to hear what another person thinks about my techniques, and maybe even suggest some things I can do differently. I'll try to offer the same assistance as well, of course!"
Vaneera responds. It really seemed like they were becoming pretty good friends. Something that Hono seemed to reciprocate, as she pointed out with her next words, even expressing thanks over all the help she was receiving from Vaneera.
"Ah, don't worry about it! This is the sort of thing I've been wanting to do for awhile, if that makes any sense. Been spending a lot of years training, so now I can actually start helping people. Not gonna lie, it's a pretty good feeling."
It was pretty obvious that Vaneera was still pretty green at all this... But it seemed like she was a good fit for the line of work as well. With that said and out of the way, Hono then replies that she'd like to head to Yachiyo's place. While Blacknore was a tempting option, she wanted to save that for later... Especially if Vaneera could put a good word in for training.
"Heh, well if you want training from Blacknore... Let me just give you a warning in advance. It's really tough training! But, I can give you the full tour of all that later, then you can judge if that's still something you want to do or not."
With that decided, it seemed about the perfect timing, as the food and drink arrived for Hono to enjoy.
"Once you've finished your meal, we'll head on our way over."------- Hono

the fiery spell fencer
381 Words | Hono's face lit up happily. The fencer didn't expect any of this, it was... kind of nice. She looked into the small bag she had brought, after just a moment Hono cracked a joke, "Hell maybe you'll let me swing that keyblade around~" she chuckled.
"If you're ever in Twilight Town I'll hook you up! I think you'll like it, It's not as big as this place but it's relaxing, it's always a sunset and it's so beautiful!" Hono explained. Twilight Town was hard to explain, just something about it felt... nice. "It's the least I can do to repay you for all you've done for me!" Hono said eating of the fries littered on her plate. "Damn! That's really good! Twilight Town doesn't have anything this good!" She took a big bite of the hamburger in front of her.
"Tough? Pfff, I don't slack on my own training! I'll knock it out of the park!" She said, punching her fist into her open palm confidently. "I for sure wanna see what this old man can do, considering he trained you he's probably not bad~" She teased. "I'll probably be heading home in the morning," she told the girl honestly. "My parents are probably going to get super worried if I'm gone..." She sighed, "I love my parents but I'd love to do more of this!, But I wanna see what other worlds are out there, it would just be hard to do alone." She told Vaneera.
Hono took the plate for the server. "Damn this looks good," she began eating. Her eyes widened as she took the first bite. "Holy shit! This is really good!" A second bite turned into a third than a fourth until the burger was gone. "I'm for sure coming back to this world for another burger!" she let out a hearty giggle. She grabbed a napkin and wiping away some crumbs for her lips. "Thank you..." she said once again, this time it was slow and sincere. "I've uh... never really had anyone be this nice to me before..."
Hono shook her head quickly standing up and placing her tray on a nearby rack. "So, let's get going shall we?" the fencer put her hands above her thread and stretched while yawning loudly.

Hono decided to crack a joke about Vaneera maybe letting her use that Keyblade. That prompted the red-haired girl to grow thoughtful for a moment. Was that possible? As far as she knew, a Keyblade was bound to it's wielder. Was there some kind of defense mechanism to ensure that it couldn't simply be stolen? Well, you could just dismiss it and call it back, so... Maybe if she didn't do that. But Hono probably wouldn't be able to reap the full benefits of the weapon either.
"No guarantees either way, but we can experiment with that if you really want to give it a whirl.", she responds genuinely. A part of her was curious on how it would play out anyway.
After that, the Fencer takes a moment to describe Twilight Town to the Keyblade Wielder. Vaneera listens intently. She was hearing about another world entirely... It was exciting, if not quite as exciting as actually going to see it for herself. But, one step at a time. That being said, it was strange that Hono described it as 'always being in a sunset'. That kind of concept was hard for Vaneera to wrap her head around.
But it must have seemed perfectly normal to everyone there, so... She just tried not to overthink it. No one said that other worlds couldn't operate under entirely different laws and physics, after all. In any case, Hono began to dig in to the meal in front of her, and soon commented that Twilight Town didn't have anything like this either.
Vaneera smiles proudly soon after hearing that. "Well, it is the city of innovation! That includes food scientists. Everyone is out to make the next big, tasty meal that's also healthy for you! It's actually a pretty competitive industry... While somehow not being all that hostile. Everyone is trying to make things better for other people. Or at least, most are."
All that said, Hono then boasts about not slacking off in her training, instead looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead. Vaneera's smile turns to a smirk. "Well, if you think I'm good. My Master is something else entirely... Even with every single part of my skills and everything I know, I just don't hold a candle to him. The only edge I have on him is having a Keyblade... And I don't think I could take him even then. So it's a good thing he's on our side!"
Vaneera's smirk fades back into a more natural smile. Hono mentioned having to head back home in the morning, which made some sense... If she's traveling to other worlds, then chances are pretty high that she hasn't been back home in awhile. Hopefully, they could rectify that little issue. The Fencer also mentioned that it was a little hard to do alone...
"Well, if it's any consolation... Having a Keyblade means that I'll eventually be traveling to other worlds! Can't just look after one and call it good enough, right? So maybe we can find a safe method of travel AND work together!"
Vaneera then extends yet another offer. The conversation draws to a temporary pause so that Hono can enjoy her meal. It didn't seem like the Keyblade Wielder minded at all to just sit and wait patiently. Once that was out of the way, Hono thanks Vaneera genuinely, and mentions that she had never really had someone be that nice to her before.
The young Keyblade Bearer can't help but arch a brow at that. "Really? As far as I can tell, you're a great person. You didn't hesitate to put yourself in danger to deal with those Heartless and help a stranger. Anyone can do that sort of thing can't be a bad person."
Still, Hono was about ready to get going, and it was pretty better to head over to Yachiyo's place sooner rather than later. Vaneera took a moment to pay for the food that was ordered, and then with that done, they could be on their way. Once more, the Keyblade Wielder takes point and leads the way through the admittedly vast and overwhelming city. The way she walked with purpose made it seem like she knew exactly where she was going.
And if she was patrolling the entire City to keep it clean of Heartless... Chances were pretty high that she did know it just like the back of her own hand. Still, it'd be a bit of a walk, which gives them an opportunity to talk a little more before arriving at their destination.------- Hono

Hono listened to the girl's explanation, city of innovation huh? It seemed interesting for sure, but Hono didn't think much about it as she enjoyed her meal. Though, was a big burger like this really healthy? She didn't question it. "Damn, you really kicked those heartless' asses, so that dude must be crazy!" She let out a light-hearted chuckle.
Vaneera brought up the idea, of them working together. "Oh~ You wanna team up with me huh? So I can carry your back in fights?" She teased, "I'll take you up on your offer!" She smiled brightly, Hono's smiles were large and genuine. "Once you're all ready to start your grand journey or whatever, come and get me!" She chuckled, "I've always wanted to see what's out there! Think about all the stories I can tell my little brother!" Hono was eager to get going on an adventure. "Hell, maybe I can get one of those spiffy keys!"
Hono's cheeks turned a soft hue of pink. At Vannera's statement, turning her head around she quickly spoke. "You've seen my... crude side, that's all most people can handle before they ignore me, around Twilight Town all the little kids are scared of me..." She sighed, she wouldn't get into the specifics of why she acted the way she did. "It's... a long story, maybe I'll tell you another time..." She quickly said, before pulling at a strand of her pink hair, getting a quick look before. Watching Vaneera pay for her food. As the couple exited from the restaurant Hono gave out a long, loud yawn. "Damn... I'm beat..." rolling her shoulder out slightly, "So you wanna take me to this lady I'm gonna be staying with?" she tilted her head to the side and raising an eyebrow.
