Yeul enjoyed the home Noel and her shared. The setting was beautiful here in the tropics. She loved it... Currently the former seeress found herself as she often did wondering around a bit away from that home to look upon the various flowers and other plants around them. She didn't go to far of course, more so when Noel was currently out and pre occupied with other things. Even if the animals near their home were gentle beings the same coudn't be said for sure of the ones deeper in. No she knew better than that. And yet... She had a feeling lately, it had been a while now, since she lost the ability to see the timeline, to tell the future. Yet... She coudn't shake the feeling like their was something more. She loved her life here of course, she was so happy that she and Noel could live in peace. But she just got the feeling something was missing. It bothered her. Who or what was missing? All of Lightining's friends were here... Noel was here. Caius and her other selves wearn't... But as sad as it was she already knew that. This was an unknown. It was so strange, it felt important so... How was it that it could slip her mind? She felt like it was on the tip of her younger, just out of reach. It was like if she could reach just a little further she could grasp it.... But she couldn't. What was she forgetting? The former seeress walked back and forth among the various plants as she tried to straighten her thoughts. It felt wrong to forget. But she couldn't remember why. A friend? A thing? What? Who? Was her mind really so fickle? Even spending so much time with her other selves... Was that what it was...? Was it from then? Was that why this feeling, this memory was so foggy? Back then they were one. Thoughts... Emotions and feelings all merged together, all felt at once. Back then it was at times difficult to descern herself from her other selves. If that was the case... It would make sense for their to be some memory issue. Yet.. that didn't stop what the memory was from bothering her. What was it? Was it someone? She wanted to remember... Why couldn't it just come to her? She leaned back agaisnt a tree and sighed in annoyance. It was starting to get to her, it was obvious to any onlooker. "What am I forgetting?"Lumina

"Don't go..." and yet, she did. "Don't leave me alone!" but it was only her back that she could see."She tried...to kill me..." why was it so easy, to be cast aside?
"But she said... I need you..." these conflicting thoughts swirled around a young girl's mind. Her back was pressed up against the trunk of a tree. Her gaze was cast upwards for just a moment, embracing the light that shone down upon her form, as well as warmth. She wanted to lose herself within that light, to fade away without a trace but she couldn't! So, when familiar words were repeated, "What am I forgetting?" that one was easy, even if it was hard to admit aloud.
"Everything." the young girl began, before looking down. She was high atop the ground, sitting along a firm branch of the same tree a guest leaned against. Her legs dangled for but a moment as she looked down. What an answer to throw at someone, everything, though it wasn't...untrue, now was it? After all, was she herself forgotten for example? Light encapsulated the young girl's form before she reappeared at the base of the tree, right in front of Yeul.
"Tell me, just how much of Paddra Nsu-Yeul are you, anyway? How much of your other selves do you remember, now that you're free?" was it the same for her other self too? Then...why was she here and not...where she really belonged... How long had such existential thoughts plagued her? The better part of a morning? Right through dawn? Time had almost come to a still and before the young girl knew it, she had company.
Of course, if she had to be grateful for anything, it was familiar company at least. Yeul was a friend, at least... the ones left behind in the chaos were friends. Were all Yuel's the same? Certainly...not all Lightnings were the same.

EverythingA voice familiar to her rang in her ears. Familiar how though? The voice.... Felt like she should know in more ways than one. The seeress looked up and saw a face, a face that shot several memories through her head. "Serah...? No..."Serah didn't wear clothes like that, or talk like that. She was also pretty sure Serah couldn't warp around like this woman did. In a flash if like she was in front of her. Her question simple, but with an answer Yeul wasnt sure of. She questioned how much 'Yeul' she was... How much she remembered. She... Wasn't sure. She remembered Caius. She remembered Noel Lighting Serah and their friends... But... "I... Your not Serah your..."She was... Who? It bothered her, but she straghtened heraelf in preparation to answer the black garbed woman's question. How much of Yeul was she? How much did she remeber from her time as part of the mass of Yeul's? In truth a lot was hazy. How could it not be? All their minds, all their beings were brought together by the Chaos, one mass... One collective of thoughts. It was hard for any of them to have their own unique thought patterns. It was rare, and at times diffuclt to know if it was yours or the other you. Now that she was seperate again, herself complelty again? Who was she? "I am Yeul... The last of 'us' the last Paddra Nsu-Yeul... The last Seeress, The one let free while my predecessors became the new Goddess... They stayed with Caius... And Noel was allowed to bring me here"She looked to the ground, this line of conversation would confuse most normal people. But... The way she talked the woman clealry knew about her. That was what bothered her. She specifically mentioned her freedom. Did she know her when she and the other Yeul's were brought together with the Chaos? That would explain it.... It would explain her haziness and why she coudn't quite put it together. "Your..."The words stuck on her tongue, for a moment. Her mind struggled as she looked upon the woman with such a familiar appearance to the Farron sisters. It seemed soemthing wantsd her to know, even if her mind found it difficult. It was weird, her mind barely had time to process it before the words slipped off her lips. the tone kind, like she was speaking to an old friend. "Lumina"That was her name. She knew her from before. Everything wasn't coming back yet but... That was the place she knew her from. That was her name. She was... A friend. Another memory, more foggy, more confusing. Everyone was given new life but... "But Lumina... How...?"How was she here? Lumina

"Serah..." just hearing that name filled her with so much emotions, most of all...despair. Lumina's mind was elsewhere, reflected by the distant look in her eyes. The final inquiry was precisely what she'd been thinking upon from the moment Serah was mentioned. She was an impossible existence, it took both Farron sisters to bring her to life. A heart, fragmented as it was, still needed a soul. She'd merged with a lingering soul whilst her other self slept. Whatever else she lacked and it was clear she was lacking much, was filled by the Chaos.
So...what of her existence now...? Her eyes betrayed her innermost turmoil, portraying how frightened she was. "This world has been connected." she spoke finally, before turning on the ball of her left foot playfully. "The children can sense it, they've received new friends." She held her right hand up to the side, palm facing upwards.
"What do you suppose your other selves did upon receiving this new, foreign company, Yuel?" she began, feeling her confidence return. She'd been shaken before, things were...hazy...her memories, at least the ones pertaining to her present status...had been lost to darkness. Her fate, was now unknown; left in a state of crisis.
Soon her shoulders slumped, her head tilted down as she could only stare at the earth beneath her feet. "As long as people remember me, as I was...as I could have been. I will not quietly sleep. That's just so...boring!" now this was genuine truth and not her usual evasion. Memories were powerful, for they created bonds and bonds could never be broken, just forgotten... left to slumber. The Claire that she became, wanted to live her life peacefully. No more fighting, so... Nova could keep its saviour. Choosing another, closer person for this venture beyond this world though...
She looked over her shoulder to Yuel, sporting her innocent smile. "So, here I am. Have you made the most out of your new life?" for if her friend was content to stay in this peaceful world, living her days with the one who cherished her most... well, that was fine. Hazy as her purpose was, it was not for the faint of heart.

Her words bothered Lumina. Her memory was foggy but she knew Lumina was her friend. So when her expression became distant.. as if lost, sad. Yeul stepped forward without much thought, guided by her memories even as foggy as they were she stepped forward to offer some support to her friend. She knew how it felt... On several levels. Not to feel like your own person. To feel... Alone... Her steps brought her in front of Lumina.
"Lumina I know.."
But she spoke up, in words that confused the Seeress. Connected? Their world was connected? To what? She said the children could sense it. That they had new... Friends? What was she talking about? Lumina certainly liked to play but... Their tended to be things behind what she said to. They were somewhat similar in that sense. But... Everything was normal here, on this new world. Their wasn't anything strange besides... No if their was going to be something for children to see, a different type. Something that felt similar but different than the Chaos.
"The black creatures... With yellow eyes right? That's what they see..."
Her friends mentioned running into them, passerby to. The creatures were different from Chaos. That much she knew. If she was understanding Lumina right... They wearn't any type of good news ether. That was the implication she got. Then Lumina mentioned her otherselves. The ones 'on the otherside' and her eyes widened. Were the creatures there to? Worse were they coming... From there somehow? Everything was supposed to be in balance now yet... Those things were not supposed to be here. It... Didn't feel right. They were dangerous in a different way. But the other Yeul's... Her other selves, the new Goddess. She worried for them. Goddess or no their wasn't a Yeul who was an expert on combat. It's why they always had a guardian. For the others Caius... For her Noel. Caius...
"Caius will have protected them... They watch over the dead... Together"
But what they did after that Yeul couldn't say. She wasn't a Seeress anymore, even if she wanted to see she coudn't.
"Do you... Know what they did Lumina? Back then all of us were..."
She trailed off with her implication. Everyone was affected by the Chaos but 'Yeul' and Lumina... Well Lumina even more so. The point being they knew it very well. Lumina's words continued, her body slumped and Yeul frowned as she stepped forward once more and offered a gentle smile, one so at place on her face.
"Your Lumina... I remember... Were friends, I haven't forgotten"
It wasn't a lie. Their were still things that were murky but she defently remembered Lumina. Remembered their talk with Lighting... Talks with Lumina. Yes... She remembered.
"That's how it works right? As long as someone remembers... We're not really gone"
And then the big question. Had she made the most out of her life? Well this world was so nice. After all this time she could be with Noel once more. They could live in peace together, do as they wanted. Shr could talk to Lighting and all her friends. It was so calm... So peaceful and happy.
But that wasn't the question was it
"Noel and I... Here everything is so peaceful but..."
Besides, even if her memory wasn't complete...
"Theirs so much I want to see... This new worlds so vast... Noel would understand that, we did at the end of it l"
She coudn't just abandon Lumina, they'd been through quite a bit together. This time it was Yeul who moved past her, hands held together behind her back as she stopped just behind her.
"Besides... I know what it's like.. to feel so alone, your back now... And it doesn't feel right to leave you alone Lumina, so as an answer... I've only just started... Making this new life I was given, and I choose to use it to prevent you from feeling it once more.."
She didn't have to see the timeline to know that feeling. Loneliness. She and Noel knew it all to well. The former Seeress pulled her Visor back down over her face and smiled.
"I feel like... Your here for a reason... Right Lumina?"
Yeul didn't mind Lumina's playfullness but unfortunately... Or perhaps fortunately for Lumina Yeul was capable of looking past the surface. Like with Lighting before their was something needing to be done, she coudn't shake that feeling. No between those strange creatures and Lumina...
She couldn't deny that anymore.

Lumina knew she could count on Yuel, "Sharp as ever I see, then for a change of pace, I'll make this quick." There was no need for words, Yuel would understand just be sight alone. Lumina's form which seemed to be once opaque and stable, began to shimmer as the wisps of chaos swirled about her form. Her eyes which were downcast, slowly looked up. They were the familiar sea blue irises she always had but only for a moment. It only took a single blink, before Lumina's eyes became a deep yellow, just like those creatures.
"I can't linger around in this world for long because I'm chaos and not human, like you are now. Those creatures, they're called heartless. They seem to be able to get to this world in small quantities but... if they eat at the unseen realm, they'll pour out chaos into this world and things will be just like the old world." her words were alarming and given how direct she was being, Lumina was clearly serious.
She felt so empty at the moment, before she had Serah's soul and that helped to fill in what was missing, make her...nearly human. Now, Lumina was no better than Caius was, barring the small fragments she called her heart. The pieces that had been returned to Lightning and restored, allowing her to live life the way she wanted to. To be roused from that deep sleep within Lightning, it was thanks to Yuel, well her other selves, that she could be here.
"There's only one thing that can stop them and I need to go beyond our world, beyond the unseen realm... to worlds beyond. There, the goddess is confident that I'll find the power I need, as well as the power to exist...without the chaos." she paused now, offering a faint smile as she tilted her head somewhat. "I couldn't just ask you outright, it'd be...unfair to separate you from Noel. Not unless you choose to, just for awhile and...you have, so...thank you."
If only Lumina could say this was all according to plan, it wasn't. This was a gamble, a final gambit and she'd respect it or try to if it turned out differently. Whether she really could have done so...well, no need to worry about that now! Besides, there was bigger problems to worry about. "Ah, don't worry about the other me. I'm...there but I'm not there, confusing I know. I can't remember what the Goddess explained to me but it was very reassuring and she always tells the truth, right?"
Lumina knew that Yuel wouldn't doubt herself, she also knew time was of the essence here. That meant if they wanted to continue this conversation, it was best done elsewhere. Holding up her left hand, she'd point it palm outwards to her side. Suddenly a dark vortex began to manifest, swirling about in a way similar to chaos but unlike it as well. "The new friends travel like this. We'll talk more in the Unseen Realm and you'll see for yourself what trouble's brewing." and with a simple gesture, she encouraged Yuel to go on through first. Lumina would take up the rear and close it behind them.

"Lumina..."
Yeul's expression became one of concern as she watched Lumina's body flickered with Chaos, became less stable along with her eyes changing to a yellow color. She frowned, Lumina of course was a good but Chaos before to of course but... She had her connections to Lighting and Serah to anchor her before. But now... Looking at Yeul one could see thw worry on her face. If meant... Lumina was all, or at the very least mostly Chaos, she even said so herself. That concerned Yeul, because Lumina was right. The Chaos of the unseen realm was now separate from this world. The world didn't think she 'belonged' of course Yeul disagreed but she didn't get a say in this, it was just how things were.
"But your here anyway... Despite the risk, So the danger they pose must must be significant, I trust you"
Some couldn't say that with Lumina. It was simply the nature of who she was. Their were those she messed with and those she kept close. It was different things but they were all For the same reason. Yeul understood that, she coudnt blame her for it in the end. Lumina simply didn't want to be alone. She would do as needed to make sure she wasn't. For everyone else Lighting's quest would bring hope... But not so for Lumina. For Lumina it meant...
She was wrung from her thoughts, her face once more looking up at Lumina as she explained the danger the Heartless posed. They could eat away at that barrier... The Unseen Realm itself. Lumina said it herself. If that were to happen everything would be undone once more, the world would be floored by Chaos as the realms once more clashed. If that happened... This beautiful new world... Would be ruined.
"It wasn't fair... Did you... Get to choose...? This world... I only got to see it thanks to Noel... My other selves chose to stay behind but... Lumina... You were the only one... Who couldn't come without..."
She let the words hang in the air once more. It was a rather sad subject, as well as a sensitive one for Lumina she was sure. But... Their were other matters. As unfair as Lumina's situation was their were things that needed to be handled, Yeul understood that. Lumina wanted her to come with her. Yeul wasn't a fighter, but she didn't need to be.
That wasn't what Lumina wanted her for anyway, she was sure
The goddess however, her other selves seemed to offer Lumina hope. Beyond the world's they knew huh? They could find a way to sustain the chaos bound girl. To allow her to see what Yeul was able to see every day. To give her what she needed. Lumina needed a power to fix the problem facing their world... But for Yeul the second part of that was just as important. A way to live without the Chaos...
She deserved it just as much as everyone else
"Noel will understand my choice, well... He might think your a bad influence though~"
She would giggle a bit, poking at the last encounter her friend had with her Guardian. It wasn't the best but... Noel would understand what she wanted to do, if nothing else. After all Noel went to the ends of time... The end of everything for her. He would understand the want to help someone you cared about. Lumina was her friend. If she needed her... Yeul would be there. This time she would do something, no matter how small it was in the long run.
"You don't have to thank me... After all, hero needs someone to stand by her side right? Keep her company"
She would offer a smile to match Lumina's own, yes she would follow her friend. She wanted to assist where she could on this journey... She wanted to see Lumina obtain what she couldn't have before. Everyone else did after all, yes... Lumina deserved that chance to. Even if she was right about 'other' her, Lumina was here in front of her. This Lumina, that she could see, that she knew... Didn't have that, it needed to be fixed. They would find out how, She was sure of it.
"They wouldn't lie to you.. no... I don't think theirs a Yeul that would unless absolutitly needed"
Then Lumina opened a portal of dark energy. It was similar to Chaos, yet different. Lumina explained that this was also how the Heartless got around. This one would lead them to the Unseen Realm? Most people would likely hold worry at the idea of going there... But not Yeul. Lumina couldn't stay here for much longer. The Seeress had every intention of following her to lend what assitence she could. Besides, this place... They all felt it's effects. Lumina motioned fpr her to go first and Yeul eyed the portal a moment before nodding, she accepted the invitation and walked through the portal to the Unseen Realm, awaiting the arrival of her traveling partner on the other side.

Yuel trusted her, it made her heart feel so much lighter. It was the strength of a bond, one that was hers, instead of merely being inherited. Her eyes, even with their yellow glint, expressed gratitude. Yuel understood her, in such a way that her words got to the heart of the matter. Such so that, despite her inquiry, it may as well have been rhetorical. Even as Lumina shook her head, indicating she had no choice. The only way for her to come to Nova Chrysalia... was as a whole person. The memories that made her Lumina dwelt in the sea of chaos beyond. That was her home now, away from the others, though not in complete isolation.
Now things could be different, even as Yuel made a playful jab about Noel. Which resulted in Lumina playfully rolling her eyes. Bad influence or not, they were in this together now. In this way, she was briefly reminded of her time with Vanille. Though it was being called a 'hero', which set the infamous personification of chaos into deep thought. As she recalled, the hero was reserved for her other half. The stronger, selfless side, that wanted to grow up fast... to protect their younger sister. It caused Lumina to flinch, recalling how she truly came to be. Piece by piece, denial after denial, soon Claire Farron wasn't even Claire, she was Lightning. Her charm and tact were gone, were words brief...
She had to shake her head for a moment. The Goddess wouldn't lie to her, it was just as Yuel said. Didn't it take a Yuel to know a Yuel? Soon, she'd make her way through the Dark Corridor and so Lumina remained quiet for a moment. When they emerged in the Unseen Realm, the Sea of Chaos surrounded them. The door that took them here, closed in their wake. There was a scarce light within the darkness of the chaos. If Yuel looked closely, in the deepest recesses, there were beady yellow eyes.
"They can sense my doubt. Sense my fear, we talk now...just like the children of Chaos." Lumina began, her hands moved before her chest.
These were the heartless, pureborn in nature, primarily shadows... though some Neo Shadows crept about as well. They did nothing to attack, their interest was in the hearts that lay within the sea. The sorrow, the sadness, and now... their hope. They could be reborn now and as people could bring life anew; one by one, the souls would leave this place. Though many were antsy still, the world had not quite balanced between living and dead. Should the heartless consume them now, they'd be lost...
"I'm no heroine, Yuel... I don't want to be strong, I know what that means, the sacrifice... I don't want to become... like her. Not again..." that's what Lumina feared the most. Would she have to discard part of herself to become strong? To find the strength to protect the souls of the dead, as well as the living? Continuing the cycle of breaking one heart into more pieces...
"Hah!" Lumina suddenly raised her right index finger into the air, calling forth her Chaotic Thundaga, launching red bolts of lightning all around them. Each bolt struck the Heartless that gathered, silencing the whispers, halting the doubt for but a moment's respite. "That won't keep them away forever...they don't fear us or the power we have. Just the light and just one weapon. Some of the souls here, may have given in and become Heartless too. Their hearts not strong enough to wait to be born anew. It's not fair..." and thus it sounded as if she was speaking for the heartless, for the souls that swam in this realm, and maybe others who could not exist.
"We're just...nobodies, while we're here at least."

Even before asking the question Yeul knew the answer. None the less having it confirmed caused a tear to swell up in her eyes, before she she super it away against her arm. Lighting saved a great many people with the choice she made. One might make the argument that she saved everyone of importance in fact, even the small people but that simply wasn't true in the end. Lighting saved many, she saved their new world. But...
Caius, after endless wandering and conflict. after blackining his heart doing anything to try and free her and her other selves from the cycle of the Seeress... Only got this darkned realm as his reward.
The other Yeul's... Forced to make a choice, they became the new Goddess. She knew, the difficulty of that choice. The permanence. Their was no taking it back. Forever she and Caius would ferry the dead... Their was nothing else for them.
And.... Lumina. The choice was quickly unfair. Ether Lighting accepted that part of her and Lumina became 'Clare' or Lumina simply ceased to be entirely. Nether was the happy ending she and her friends were lucky enough to get. Lumina was gone... Up until a few minutes ago it was a sad fact. Now she was back but the result... She still wasn't allowed to live under their bright sun, to live the peaceful life everyone else could. Yeul wanted to help correct this injustice, she couldn't help Caius or her other selves, they were part of 'death' now, their was no changing that. But she could help Lumina... She could still stand by and help her friend.
Yeul looked upon the Unseen Realm and could only feel sadness. Because of more than the memories she bore, it was a reminder that not everyone got a second chance. Not these heartless... Not the children... Not even Lumina fully.
"Until recently... I didn't know the warm light of the world. Born in the last age... And then brought back into the chaos of the end.... My only lights were Noel and Caius... It's horrible to not have a choice, yet.... If we don't stop them like you said..."
Why couldn't their be an option for everyone? An option that let's everyone smile? If they didn't stop the heartless than the world would be ruined once more, even worse the souls waiting to be reborn could well lose their second chance to. Yet the ones that gave in and became Heartless.... They had to be stopped as well, which meant if she understood this correctly getting rid of their second chance as well. Lumina spoke to them, that gave Yeul all the information she needed to hesitate.
"Lumina... I'm not going anywhere, I... Will see this journey through to its end with you, You deserve to live in that world just as much as everyone else..."
The Seeress would briefly tap her chin. Perhaps it was a strange reply to Lumina's explanation of the Heartless, but she wanted to make her intentions clear if they wearn't already. The Seeress had a determined look on her face. Yeul had would not abandon her friend, nor would she let her face back into the Chaos if she had anything to say about it.
"At the end of that journey maybe you can stay with me and Noel in our home, it's nothing big and fancy but.. you won't be alone, you know?"
Even if it was just to support her, Yeul would do so. With this life... She was free to make a g choice she wanted. So she would grow. She would travel with Lumina. This time it was up to them it seemed. Yeul was fine with that. Everyone else? Their journey had already reached its ending. So they could rest. Lighting... Serah.. and Noel. This was something to be left to she and Lumina.
"Lumina... You don't want to become 'Lighting' right? What she had to do... growing up so fast. Forcing herself to grow cold.... All for Serah. But..."
But this was different. They didn't have to become cold as Lighting once was. They didn't have to become something they wearn't. No...
"In the end... Lighting was able to strike down a god not because of that however, but because she found her inner strength, accepted herself... And finally let her friends in"
She shook her head, continuing to stare out at the waves of Heartless, the realm itself. She wished to save them. Each one.. but for now she had to focus on Lumina. She was here to help her.
"You won't lose yourself Lumina... If nothing else, I can say that with no doubts. Your just not that type of girl right? If power had a physical form I'd sooner see you making it say uncle, or sending it's mind for a loop"
She would giggle before turning to gave her friend, a more light hearted smile on her face.
"Besides... I believe in you, clearly the other me's do to. Though if you dislike it that much... Why don't you pick your title?"
It was an attempt to cheer her friend up, but she wasn't lying. Lumina was capable-something her blackened thunder magic showed for all to see. When next she spoke it was as if Lumina spoke for more than just her. Yeul understood. Lumina spoke for herself then, but she also spoke for the lost. Yeul simply offered her hand, taking Lumina's in. A firm grip as she looked forward.
"That's what we need then... To complete you... And obtain that weapon. Then to save.... Them. I don't want to abandon them ether... So we'll just have to make sure the journies a success, for all of you"
Her tone and her feelings were sincere. That was her place. To support her friend, aid her on her journey, help her find her way when she felt loss.
These were only the first steps of that journey-a journey to remember.
"Everyone deserves to be somebody... Their own person...together Lumina, right? We can do it.... Hope"
This time.... they would be the ones to make the difference.

Light. Lights, the word resonated deep within Lumina's being, to the deepest recesses of what could be considered her 'heart'. Even if she was just a fragmented memory, that such was able to take form in conjunction with darkness and chaos alike, surely it was because of a good foundation? After all, she was Claire once; arguably more Claire than the present day. Though she'd be the first to admit that her 'sis' had come a long way. Accepting herself and letting her friends in, now it was time for Lumina to learn something from ol' Lightning. To prove that she wasn't going to be a rethread,
"Hope. Yes...yes~! That's what I want for all those here. Of course, we already have a Hope~" Lumina replied, feeling an abundance of something she desperately needed. She'd squeeze Yuel's hand, grateful to have a friend by her side. None of this would be easy, maybe it was impossible and Nova simply needed her temporarily. That was fine, her mind was made up after all.
"For my title, I want to be their Light." no matter what darkness came, no matter her moods. Nova's unpredictable, unlikely Light, would bring the weapon needed. If that didn't make a good story to tell, then nothing would! She was at a disadvantage though but that's what friends were for. To make up the difference, so that she wouldn't become cold, so that she'd grow into being a heroine at her own pace.
"Together, we'll protect Nova's future and give the lost their rebirth from sleep." with such embolden words, poetic and graceful, she waved her free hand before chaos and darkness swirled before them. Slowly, it would take on the shape of a door. It loomed before them, tall and imposing, linked to the unknown itself. Lumina's eyes widened, her lips parting before taking on a wide grin.
"This is how the Heartless arrived in our world, they call it the Corridor of Darkness. Be sure to safeguard your heart before we step through. I have no idea where this will take us but I'm sure we'll end up some place that'll help us find what we need." Lumina stated, matter of factly. Doubt didn't seem to resonate in her voice now, instead she was excited, eager and filled with her usual curiosity.
Looking to Yuel for a moment, she gave a smile before taking the first step. The Unknown awaited and their journey was about to unfold. Who knows when they'd see Nova again? Once the doorway closed, their path would be only forward, until the light brought them to their first destination.

That was the Lumina she remebered, she was glad she was back to her normal self. It brought a smile to the Seeress' face. She saueezed her friends hand in turn and looked to her. Lumina... She was such a unique person. Even as much as she would mess sround about, as much as she would mess with people that was always true. Lumina was simply... Lumina. She had ao many pieces to her... But she was glad they were together. She was happy to stand by her side. Why? Because for as wild as she was, for as much as she enjoyed messing with others... She was still a good person. From the bottom of her heart she belived that, she knew it to be true.
"Light huh? So Nova's Light... Their Light... It's got a nice ring to it, it fits you well"
She offered her friend a serene smile. Almost on cue she had confirmed the thoughts she already had in her mind. Yeul would stand her side. She wouod help her if ahr began to go astray, if she went to far... she woudn't let her became cold as she feared, she woudn't let her became as Lightining once was. No they were friends. They knew both sides of this world well. Together... They would save it once more. To be more precise... She would help Lumina obtain what they needed to do so, what they needed to make her whole... Free to live in the New World, in Nova like everyone else-to makr it safe again to. With a nod she would confirm Lumina's words.
"Together... we'll make things right... This world... And for you to"
Her friend then manipulated the Chaos, formed it into a door before them. It loomed mysterisly even among everything already about. Yeul looked at it intently, then with curiosity. That was their door. The door they would use to see the see the world outside of Nova. The door... To other places... Other worlds. The door that would bring them one step closer to Lumina's goal, their goal. So this was how the Heartless got around... Well now they would use it for somethung good. Lumina said to safeguard her heart but... She wasn't entirely sure how. But... She had felt Chaos itself throughout her and the others.... She was sure if she stayed strong it would be ok. Lumina's confidence eroded any worry she might have otherwise had. She gave a firm nod and stepped towards the door after her, before turning back and offering a hand to Lumina to follow-she knew how it worked better than her after all. She coudn't help but wonder where they would end up. For once... She didn't know what was to come, this was a whole new experience. A gentle smile lay upon her face, wherever it was they would face it together.
"Let's go Lumina... To a new world!"

Light really did suit her well, it was the purpose of her chosen 'name', a contrast to her other self. Besides, everyone loved light and she desired to be loved most of all. In turn, she opened her heart or what little of it resided in her physical embodiment; to those waiting for their birth by sleep. Which was why she was chosen by the Goddess, for she was the purest part of the saviour. Befitting the requirements for the Keyblade, provided she could strengthen and grow her heart. It all began with their walk through the darkest recesses, corridors that connected all worlds. The darkness did not seem to affect Lumina as they travelled. There were many theories as to why that was, even as her gaze remained focus.
"In here, unless we know where we're going, there isn't a right path." Lumina explained, breaking the silence. "Who knows what world we'll end up in but... if I had a wish, I want to feel at ease wherever we end up." what Lumina meant by that was unclear even to herself. At ease? Perhaps, she didn't want to feel like her presence would disturb the balance of the world? A place where the chaos that comprised her did not impact others. Not like it did back in Nova...
Soon the pathway forked like a crossroad, ceasing their relentless wandering for but a moment. While there may have been no right path, Lumina felt her right hand cradle her cheek, with her left supporting her elbow. North, West, or East. Her gaze befell each path carefully before instinctively choosing a direction."West seems like our starting point, a middle path." one could be mistaken for thinking her decision was entirely random. On the surface it just felt like the 'fun' choice, that's what she'd admit to if pressed. In truth, she felt something, intuition maybe, that reassured her to go this route.
"Tell me something, Yuel? What was the first thing you did upon being brought to the new world? Would you do the exact same thing upon our arrival?" curiosity got the better of her in this instance. Given she lacked the experience directly. Even so, she was excited for this first, one of many that would define her. She briefly considered how she had handled the unknown in the past. Thoughts of her Father, thoughts of her Mother and most of all, thoughts of Serah. "I'm not alone in this, I should share my feelings, make it count."
It was easy to fall into the mindset of worry, given she was dragging Yuel on this journey. That's... what she did with Serah, what did that get her exactly? Before she knew it, she'd lost sight of her goals, lost sight of the person who was most important to her. "I won't make the same mistakes. I told you that you couldn't change... you did and that means... I can change too."

Nether of them knew how to control this force. Because if that they didn't know where they would end up when they reached the other end. That was her understanding from Lumina. But still... She trusted her. She knew in her heart Lumina's intentions were pure. She really did want to help those lost in the Chaos... She really did want to keep Nova safe. For as unusual, as... Different as Lumina could be she was a good person at heart. She knew she could place her trust in her jsut as she could Serah, just as she could Lightining. Only Noel and Caius could have trust higher... But the reasons for that were obvious.
"It would ne nice... I do wonder... Will other worlds be like Nova? Will they be in chaos... Or at peace? A place to put you at ease... It would be truly wonderful if that was the place we end up"
She gave a bright smile to her chaotic friend. Together... Yes together they would make everything right. A place of peace. It seemed if they went to another world Lumina woudn't have to worry as much but... She knew Lumina likely wanted to be able to be here to. They would make it happen, make her whole. She belived im that goal. She could no longer see the timeline but... She didn't to for this. She could look to the future and know everything would end up alright. Lumina... Lumina wad the ladt one that needed to be happy. It simply wasn't right for her to be lost to the darkness. No, Lumina woudn't be left all alone, she would make sure of it. Yeul didn't offer resitence to Lumina's choice of path, she had already decided thst she trusted her after all. She offered instead a trusting smile and a nod as she followed her faithfully.
"You'll think it's silly but... I looked to a bright skey fot the first time... By Noel's side"
For normal people it probaly seemed like such a small thing, but for Yeul, who lived in a world with sun, with so little life... It was everything. It represented a bright future-it mean't she could finally live with the one she cared about with the burden of the Seeress upon her.
"I think.... I will... this time by the side of someone else I care about"
The implication was clear, she was talking about Lumina. It was fitting that the start of their journey would recreate that moment-poetic in a way. Yeul saw the look on Lumina's face and took her hand in hers once more, offering one more comforting smile. Gently she would now help Lumina, probaly an odd sight to any onlooker.
"I'm by your side, my friend. Together... Were going to fix things but... This is for you to... For you, I don't have Etro's eyes anymore but.."
She would keep her pace, the joyful smile never left her face.
"I don't need them to say, this your story"
A new tale, and it was only just begining.

Lumina was conflicted when it came to world's being like Nova. Did that mean her presence would disrupt other worlds too? She hoped not but it was a reminder that she might need to use some of her magic in order to fit in where necessary. That would also include her partner in crime too~ The bright smile was reassuring, resonating deep within her heart in fact. As Yuel continued to speak, each word continued that resonance, concluding with "this is your story". Lumina being bashful was a bit surprising, her hand moving to cover part of her face.
"People seldom get do overs..." Lumina admitted, revealing her innermost thoughts to Yuel slowly. "That's why I fought so hard to...protect Serah... from myself." she had been tough on Lightning back then. Even if she didn't portray her actions as being 'tough'. "The world... doesn't need another Lightning." a harsh reality, a strong confession to make. The words would be left to linger as the darkness began to reveal a faint light. Just ahead, they could make out, albeit saturated, the new world that they'd arrive in. First a planetary view, then a glimpse of what they would step into.
"Although~!" her voice immediately perked up, sounding devious as this new world presented a glimpse of itself. "Maybe, just maybe... other worlds need a different Claire Farron." this had been the truth she struggled to accept upon awakening. Given she had made her peace with returning to Lightning once she was honest with herself. Now, she was presented with an opportunity to exist and be independent. She was afraid, for something likely happened for a fragmented heart to feel like a separate entity. What that was, she knew that this journey would confront.
Holding her hand out, the portal would open, creating a door to this new world. It was fortunate that people weren't around. They seemed to be in a quiet spot in the Marketplace, with benches and some primitive technology. That didn't matter so much, what light shone down upon this area, Lumina would look up after leaving the corridor of darkness. The Sunset light in this world, it was refreshing. Lumina closed her eyes, inhaling slowly and deeply. Turns out, Lumina didn't think Yuel's first action was silly at all. For there she was, embracing this new sky and when she looked to the door that began to close, she left some final words.
"Take care of Nova, Lightning. Not that you need me to tell you that, you probably saw the heartless and didn't even hesitate. So, I won't hesitate either."
