Masked Boy
I've Outgrown My Need For You
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ More Worlds were accessible than before. Many of these he knew nothing of, perhaps they had been gone before his time, or perhaps they never were accessible in the past. Vanitas didn't really know nor cared much about it. The worlds seemed bigger than he was used to, which meant it would be harder to create some chaos all over the place. The Unversed were slowly increasing in number since his awakening. Another place, but less Heartless or otherwise, yet a lot of monsters, the masked boy noticed as he looked over 'the Planet'.
Noting the city of Junon that seemed to have been working on rebuilding and repairing the place, it seemed something had ravaged the place in the past. Opening a Corridor, Vanitas walked into town only to be soon followed by the Unversed from the Corridors. Also in other places in the city the creatures attacked as they started to spawn all over the place. He chose to start with a single area of this world and go from there towards the rest of the city. With some luck he would get some opposition.
Perhaps odd, but Vanitas was looking for a fight. He wanted to find out how strong the defenders of this world were. To see if he could strengthen himself on these defenders. This world likely knew nothing of him, if he had some bad luck, Terra, Aqua, or Ventus would appear. Or perhaps it would be good luck, he'd at least know where they'd be then. However, the problem would lie that they had failed and he wanted to see what happened after he had disappeared. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ OOC SECTION @genesis All sorts of Unversed are all over the city of Junon.

When last he was here, a degrading Genesis had watched on as his then foe SOLDIER First Class Zack battled against his clones, desperate to keep Professor Hollander from falling back into his hands. Little did the puppy know it was not to save him, but quite the contrary. Genesis tortured Hollander for his crimes and leading him astray, implanting himself on the old man to ensure he would have no choice but to share the goal of ending the degradation instead of merely continuing their assault on Shinra. That had been nearly ten years ago by now, the world’s savior little more than an inept teenage infantryman at the time. Back when the world falsely proclaimed Sephiroth and Shinra their hero, with little knowledge of what was truly happening behind the scenes. In the time interim, much had changed. Most obviously was the reconstruction ongoing after the removal of its canon and damage caused by the attack of Sapphire WEAPON. Long gone was the damage of his assault, much like the damage from the rest of his escapades. Erased long ago by Shinra, overshadowed by the much worse crimes committed by the original AVALANCHE and Sephiroth. Alas despite his great strength and the position of power he once held as being within the top three SOLDIER First Class he was nothing more than a footnote in history now, destined to be forgotten unless his dream of becoming a hero could be fulfilled. Thankfully, on this day opportunity called out to him. Below the flying ex-SOLDIER was a sight to behold, unlike anything he’d ever seen. Weird creatures were crawling along the streets of Junon, their jagged movements unnatural even for monster standards. Behind them stood a boy, likely no older than a teenager, clad in black armor that tightly hugged his frame. Most notably was the mask, obscuring any attempt of discerning his identify while simultaneously serving as a defensive helmet. With how he stood at the center of this madness it was certain he was the one behind their invasion, his attire literally out of this world acting as a beacon of his alien status. Surely the Turks wouldn’t question his interference here should they be watching, not when the threat was so obvious. With a wave of his hand a flurry of feathers rained down upon the charging creatures, destroying or distracting them Genesis did not know but regardless their master would quickly learn he wasn’t alone. “Rather poor etiquette wouldn’t you say, trampling about a world where you’re naught but a guest,” Genesis called out to the invader, descending gracefully several meters behind him with his wing outstretched and Rapier in hand. Standing tall and proud, his narrowed Mako eyes fell upon his foe as his lips curled down while he grew serious and a few black feathers floated harmlessly around said foe as they descended. Just what kind of mischief was this mysterious lad after, with these alien monsters infesting the city around them. At least now their attention was likely taken off their prey and onto the bigger prize at hand following his attack on their kin. I've Outgrown My Need For You
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ The sudden strikes down upon the Unversed was a surprise, but Vanitas expected someone to appear. Looking at what struck them, he noted feathers. A curious method of attacking. While he could perhaps have wondered if he himself would be attacked from a hidden enemy, a man floated down using a single wing. The fact that there was only a single wing was an oddity in itself, but the masked boy listened to his words.
"Perhaps," he answered as he stretched out his hand and his Keyblade appeared from thin air in it as he held it out, "but I'm looking to trample on more than just the world." His body moved into a battle stance, "next I'll trample upon your face!" As he ended his sentence, the boy would dash forward all of a sudden as he headed straight for the man floating down. Using Strike (First Form), he would strike at the man in great speed before somersaulting and delivering a second strike in an attempt to send the man down towards the ground.
There in the air, Vanitas would spin and suddenly send out a large ball of flame with Dark Fira aimed at the man before landing again. "Let us see you are worth my time!" he taunted towards the man amused, itching for an actual fight as he mentally sent away the Unversed nearby as he wanted to face the man personally. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ OOC SECTION @genesis CD: Strike [1st] (1), Dark Fira (2)

Quite a curious thing it was, that sword the boy summoned. Genesis could admire the craftsmanship of the thing, though it weirdly appeared to be in the abstract form of a key. Was this a symbolic choice, or was the weapon literally a giant key for something? He was left little time to ponder the notion as he was attacked by his quarry, though a quick roll of the wrist brought Rapier vertically before him. With his left hand against the back of the blade he stood strong against the initial assault, failing to hide the faintest smirk at he looked up at his leaping opponent. Though it’d be optimal to get information on and from his opponent before hand, he did prefer doing so through combat. Genesis had been a member of SOLDIER after all, not of the Turks. “Is that a fact?” Genesis asked snidely, bringing the blade back down to his side as the spell raced across the sky to engulf him in flames when it burst. Another energy was among it as well, a sort of... Darkness? This was not an alien concept to him, after all there was infused Dark Fire Materia that SOLDIER had access to. That means this foe was no ordinary opponent, even if he wasn’t part of some organization providing him the ability to perform such a spell the skill it took to wield was rather impressive. This got the angel rather excited, finally a chance to test his revitalized self! Not only that, but the protection of The Planet was at play here. Perhaps this would be the bump that Cloud needed in order to trust him... Not that the Turks would offer such a luxury. Waving his hand at the dissipating smoke, Genesis ignored the charred marks on his coat as he finally spoke. “It seems you do have some pride, despite that foul little mouth of yours. Here I was suspecting the need to cut down your minions one by one before finally finishing you off, but instead I find myself pleasantly surprised. Now, since you asked...” Spreading his feet beneath himself Genesis crouched, releasing his sword to let it levitate at his side while he rose from the ground. Hands glowing a brilliant crimson, a diamond shaped glyph formed before him with small balls of fiery energy at each of its corners. Glyphs surrounded the four of them, before all the symbols vanished and the four balls merged into one within the angel's hands. “Let me show you the true power, of SOLDIER!!”ENTERING COMBAT MODE Intensified from their merger, the four balls of fire shot forward in a horizontal line towards the masked boy. Whether or not the powerful spell connected with the target was of little consequence to Genesis, who mainly used it as a distraction so he could race forward with a single beat of his wing to stab at his foe. A slash to the left then right followed, the angel gracefully landing back on his feet as he watched for his opponent's reaction to the opening onslaught. The battle was merely just beginning, and the ex-SOLDIER eagerly awaited retaliation in kind that would warrant his actually having to try. For now he'd feel out his opponent at least, and just the best way to finish this. There was no rush, he was the hero here after all, besides the battle needed to look amazing no?
