gave everything that i had to give | if i had one more day to wish... if I had one more day | 244 words commentary Unfortunately, I lack a good picture of an FFXV Ahriman. Picture a brown locust the size of a German Shepherd and you're on the right track. There's four of them in the First District. People are smart enough to hide, but they're going to start attacking doors soon, unless stopped. | Ardyn looked down at the man he had clutched in one hand, both man and hand in question veritably coated in a thick, greasy black substance. Liquid Darkness, some might call it, or Miasma, but Ardyn knew Starscourge better than any other man alive. The civilian that he had by the throat was becoming rather swiftly acquainted with it, however; his flesh warping and bones cracking as he became a Daemon. Magitech Troopers might've been more useful, but he didn't have any armor handy.
Ardyn released his victim as the brown carapace of an Ahriman began to encase him like some macabre, chitinous tomb. He'd been rather helpful, actually, until Ardyn had stepped into a light and realized that Noct failing at his one job had managed to remove his Seeming. The man's rather useful exposition on the name and nature of this Traverse Town were quite useful. His screams of "Heartless!" and panicked flailing, significantly less so. "Go on then," he said, shoving the newly formed Ahriman out into the square and absentmindedly calling three more of the lesser Daemons with a wave of his hand. The former Chancellor reestablished his seeming and put on his best cowering bystander act, pretending to hide behind a trash can as the insectoid Daemons roved the First District in search of victims.
What better way to determine what kind of place he was in than to attract its defenders? Surely his guide-turned-victim's cries had drawn somebody. |

Observing this town, it gave Invi a bit of a feeling like Daybreak Town. Perhaps it was somewhat similar in nature? She hadn't been able to find her way back to Daybreak Town thus far, so she wasn't entirely certain what was going on there. Perhaps at some point she came to understand all that was going on right now. Her memories remained hazy and even the recent meetings were... somewhat hard to keep track of.
"Hm?" Her attention went back to the town as she watched from the rooftop down at the district. Screams of Heartless and there were... things appearing? The citizens that were still outside were now running amok and the beings that have appeared. They seemed different. Not Heartless, still she could very well see the Darkness that the creatures were cloaked in. This didn't seem like the best situation to be observing right now.
Looking around it didn't seem like anyone else was present right now. Perhaps more would appear, but the Foreteller wasn't going to let some odd monsters run amok in town to attack. Just waiting for the chance of other defenders to appear would simply be wrong. Her Keyblade appeared within her hands as her feet started to leave the ground. Slowly Invi started to float above the rooftops before she dived down towards the center of the four creatures.
As Invi moved down upon the creatures, she quickly performed a Quadcast. Her body moving from side to side as she quickly send out a balls of flame, a tornado of wind, shattering crystals of ice, and multiple lightning strikes down upon the four creatures from the use of Firaga, Aeroga, Blizzaga, and Thundaga all together in the single cast. Then she would land onto the ground as the strikes would have showered down upon the four. This all was done in hopes to take out the four instantly before they could do any harm to any of the buildings or people.

~Is Your Heart Still Mine?~ I | Miss | You
Even the heartless needed rest…
But who could have such a thing with all the noise that was around? The sound of fire exploding like the lowest pits of hell? The sound of winds cracking against the wood of the buildings like a powerful whip? And the lightning! Oh, by the gods, the lightning! All of it taking place outside of the realm of dreams that the figure was pulled from. His amber eyes flying open and fading to a soft blue as he tried to fathom the discomfort to his ears even though he rested his head on silken sheets and comforts like clouds. Then there was the ugly, unholy moans of vile creat-/
...well, let’s be honest, a little ‘moaning’ never bothered anyone.
Still, the skinny figure had been disturbed, and in his usual groggy body movements, he tried his hardest to ignore it all. He would roll upon a shoulder, the sight of a darkened spot that looked to be the charred remnants of a carpet was a reminder of his meal earlier that day. The tender heart of a beautiful woman in love had been fresh upon his pink lips. He licked them, like a child relishing the bits of syrup left over from a piece of candy, and closed his eyes attempting to doze off once more as he chose to ignore the sounds.
Ignore the noise! Ignore people’s squabbles! Ignore the...scent?
Yes? Ignore that sweet little scent! His face twisting in frustration as the words passed through his mind, yet instinct would not allow it. The “rage” of that unholy weapon called out to him like a temptress from the light. The darkness within the world had shaken like a quake. It was a quake that only the species and everyone alike his own would feel! The heartless, in hordes, had become attracted to the light that was emitting from the center of the world’s district. Rising like a zombie for his grave, the figure would sweep his legs off the bed, stretch his arms upward, and let out a ghastly yawn as he would stare to the wall with his crystal blue eyes.
“Mmm!~” Tight pink lips musing as if the nose smelled the scent of blueberry muffins in the morning, “Something’s cooking!~”
Should he change was the question!
A bit far from the cozy home of the club and on vacation, he wondered just how relaxed he should be. The lacey unmentionables were few in-between, so he at least had to look presentable. A finger would snap, conjuring the form of a piece of furniture that would appear. It’s body a massive polished mahogany, top of its form seeming to have what were believed to be “eyes”, and itself was branded with a black heart silhouette that was crossed between its center. The massive emblem conveyed to anyone that the piece of furniture was a creature above all else.
“Come!” The figure stroked his index finger, “I will decide what to wear for them as I go.”
The benign creature that took the form of a youth had chosen to stay in a suite as always. Double doors tossed back as he would step into the halls. The district was safe from him as long as they had not caused him an inconvenience or even a breath of complaint towards his presence. The trembling concierge had assured to this as he reeled his head up, seeing the figure come downstairs accompany by the Wicked Wardrobe that obediently followed its master to the front desk.
“Jeeve-kun,” A nickname the man hated but was in no position to argue. He simply swallowed, watching closely as the youth would clasp his silken robe closed at the chest with a thumb and an index finger, “It is noisy outside. Is there a...visitor?” His head tilting. A sweet smile upon his face even though the man seemed perfectly terrified. Lest he not repeat the history of having a skinny, whining heartless come to his house and work again because he was his “favorite” man-in-wait, he answered…
“W-well…” his voice cracking, and not because he could see through the piece of garment, “...t-there’s some creatures outside. N-not like the usual ones, but this person, she-”
“She?”
The boy interfered. Delicate little fingers flying up as quick as the smile that paved across his face. Female visitors were the best ones! There was such a romanticism to them!
The grin was a perverse one and was almost to wide for his face to contain. Eyes of blue became amber as they faced the windows, making out the faint silhouette. He felt naughty just from looking from afar, and so he would leave the man to his irrational fears as the boy continued to fan for his wardrobe.
“Come! Come!” he beckoned, “You heard the man! There is a maiden outside! And if she is causing this terrible racket, a passionate one!” With a press of the hand against the doors, the boy would walk outside amidst the chaos and terror. Body cascading with lavender silk that was bound at the hip and feet covered by the softest purple bunny slippers money could buy...or could be stolen with brute force. The wardrobe standing at his back as he peeked over the lifted walkway that oversee the district center like an arena.
His chest would ache, a sign that there were presences within the area that he could not see. One was before his very eyes and another unseen. Nonetheless, cowardice was not acknowledged for the boy. Only the sight of a beautiful and elegant form that was in the center of the area...oh, and whomever was wielding the key itself. Either way, it was the beautiful essence that radiated from their form that beckoned for his attention. He lacked the facial features to look like a vile voyeur with vulgar thoughts, so he looked more like a schoolgirl in love the way he looked towards the distant keyblade wielder.
“She looks very strong.” A thought of caution passing between his lips towards the wardrobe at his back. “I don’t think she would allow me to have a kiss so easily.”
The “hard-to-get” types and unavailable types. He loved them so!~

As the bursts of magic hit the ground and seemed to tear two of them apart, the other two were smacked to the ground. Yet they didn't fade, even the two that seemed to be broken were still shaking and crawling. They definitely weren't Heartless as she quickly moved towards one and struck her Keyblade into what appeared to be the head. Crushing its face before moving back as the creature seemed to sink into some kind of darkness puddle and vanish.
Her attention went to the other two daemons that had stood back up when she heard a door. Quickly leaping back and moving in a position to oversee both the daemons and the door, Invi worried it might either be civilians or the actual person that created these things. Instead there was some kind of long-haired child with at his back... Heartless? the emblem was present. Seeing that it followed him as the child appeared to not exactly be afraid. Seeing the face, she would even think this person was the complete opposite.
The fact a Heartless followed it made it a bit more difficult for her as she was already dealing with these monsters. Instead, one of the two that was closer to the child was now moving towards them instead. I'll figure this one out later, Invi thought to herself as her Keyblade started to shine somewhat brighter, activating a Boost as she leapt forward and struck back the other daemon. The insectoid was sent flying and broke apart on the ground.
Turning to face the last three, Invi did peek down towards the daemon that was heavily damaged on the ground still, slowly crawling with some of its broken limbs towards her. Weird bugs, she thought to herself, still not very used to the creatures in general, but better used to Heartless. Still, she didn't know the other was a Heartless as well.
