tags. Figment. notes. Colorful enough? xD
Locke didn't know what to think of his current situation. He overlooked the clouds he was standing on, some rocks stuck out of them in place, they reminded him of mountain tips, then there's rainbows in places like pathways to higher clouds. This all looked very unreal, it was suspicious and the treasure hunter had no way of figuring out how to deal with such a surreal environment. His boots hit the clouds under his feet a few times and he crouched down.
Going with a hand over the cloud, it felt solid. Locke then removed his glove temporarily to get a good feel of the cloud. It was white, it was soft and yet solid. Scooping up a small puff of cloud like dirt, the cloud just flowed by his fingers and returned to the cloud itself. "Is this a dream?" he questioned no one in particular, honestly he wasn't even expecting an answer to be given. He never had a dream like this, so he doubted it. The previous 'worlds' as they were referred to by some were at least somewhat normal. The cave and ship had been truly real, the town where the tournament happened looked weird, but acceptable. This place was just downright ridiculous.
Thinking back on the weird town and then looking over the clouds again, "alright, fair enough," he finally said while he pulled up his arms and shoulders in shrugging motion. "This is acceptable," he figured, maybe even the town was in this place and he just somehow flew up into the clouds or something. By some weird magic, was this even magic at this point? "Heyyyyy~!" he called out, bringing a hand out to his mouth as if it helped make shouting louder, "is anyone magicking this place together?!" he called, hoping something would pop up and answer. That'd be nice. made by kiwii at btn! rebuild by metus at khmm!

| one little spark of imagination~ a dream can be a dream come true Hearts, stars, horseshoes! Clovers and blue moons, unicorns, rainbows, and even red balloons!...Well maybe not some of those, but this place sure had some pretty clouds and sparkly rainbows! For one little purple dragon floating around the landscape on his back, it really reminded him of home! It really felt like something out of a dream. And boy golly whoever might have dreamt up this place had one heck of an imagination, Figment thought. He'd sure like to shake his hand! As much as Figment felt the need to hurry up and find Dreamfinder, it didn't hurt to take a little break now and again to relax and enjoy the scenery! Blarion was capable fellow, maybe he even made some new friends out there that were helping him out at this very moment!
Speaking of new friends, a voice was calling out from somewhere in the distance. They sounded lost, or maybe confused. Or maybe both! Probably both. Figment was often both nowadays, what with popping between different worlds and all that. Spinning like a corkscrew, the dragon dove into the clouds and swam off towards the voice. Eventually he managed and popped up out of the ground with a little burst of clouds and sparkles near the stranger. "Hello there! Are you lost too?" the dragon smiled and flew around the young man and looked him over. He kinda looked like the adventurey type, but that bandana screamed 'Pirate!' to Figment. Can you be both? An Adventure Pirate? "I'm Figment! Are you a pirate? You kind of look like a pirate!"

Waiting a bit, Locke wondered what the point was. Perhaps he should walk onward. Then well enough, some kind of dragon popped up. One that looked a bit... odd. Definitely not as evil-looking at most dragons he had seen. Honestly, what was wrong with this place. The dragon spoke to him, an Esper? "Yes, hello! I am!" he replied while trying to turning his head around and trying to keep track of the dragon as it was flying around him.
The dragon introduced himself as Figment and started asking if he was a pirate cause he looked like one. "Oh, no no no, I am a treasure hunter," he replied proud of himself, thinking about it, he didn't like boats at all. Locke had gotten seasick at least twice now and he didn't like to make it a recurring theme. "My name is Locke Cole! Are you an esper, Figment?" he continued, still trying to keep check of the dragon. He looked like an esper or a monster. But considering this place and this Figment was talking back, Locke would guess 'esper'.
"Did you create this place? Like is there an exit? I'm no good with these different planes," Locke continued, hoping to find an exit. However, he then recalled the 'are you lost too', did that mean the esper was lost? This was quite the pickle he gotten himself into. Did espers have a way of finding their way? What kind of spell would that be? The treasure hunter was trying to figure out what to do with his present situation. made by kiwii at btn! rebuild by metus at khmm!

| one little spark of imagination~ a dream can be a dream come true "Ooooooh!" So he wasn't a pirate, he just was a land pirate! Sailing the land sea on foot in search of booty. Well that still sounded like fun. Sometimes Figment liked to pretend he was a pirate. Or a doctor. Or a pirate doctor! Yarr, ye be having scurvy matey. The dragon giggled to himself and settled his flying to float in front of Locke with a smile. "An esper?" That was a funny sounding word. Esper, esper...Es...purr! "Is that some sort of magical kitty? I'm a dragon though, through and through! From horn to wing to tail and paw!" Figment wiggled each part in kind and showed off his dragony dragonself.
"Well it sure is nice to meet you Mr. Locke, but I didn't make this place. I was just sort of hop skipping and jumping around and took a portal and POOF here I was!" floating up a bit higher, Figment gazed around at the landscape. "It sure does remind me of home though. I wonder if it's a...oh what would Dreamfinder call it...a metaphysical next door neighbor!" It could very well be that this dreamlike world was just a hop skip and jump away from Imagination, as Figment would put it. But he had no real idea of how to prove it. "But I'm sure if there's a way in, there's a way out too! How did you get here? The best way to figure out how to leave is to know how you came!"

Listening to the dragon ramble, Locke wasn't sure what to make of him. Perhaps a child. This a child? he didn't really know how to place such things. But from the sounds of it, this Esper was probably a young one. The dragon was talking about 'magical kitty' on esper and Locke shook his head. Pointing at him at his reply on being a dragon, Locke added in: "Espers are beings capable of magic, of course monsters are as well, but you'd usually either be an esper or a monster. Since you're not trying to tear me to pieces, I would think you're the former," he added, figuring that explanation would be the easiest for a child to understand. Perhaps it was still difficult, maybe he should just drop it.
It seemed this dragon, Figment, wasn't the one creating this space. His explanation on how he got there was... weird. Wait, he took a portal! What's with the hop skipping and jumping before that? Locke rubbed the back of his head and shrugged, "... so... you were playing and then fell into some kind of portal." The dragon referred to someone named 'Dreamfinder' and came with a difficult word, was this Dreamfinder his mentor? Perhaps his guardian or something? In any case, the name sounded much like some Espers, so he was figuring this kid just was still in the learning process. Though, hopefully this Dreamfinder wasn't throwing around a lot of difficult words.
Locke nodded on the way in, way out aspect. "Likely another portal," he replied, thinking that would be the most logical way to leave. The question on how he got there had him shrugging, "no idea, I just woke up here." He figured that was a terrible way to explain things, but it was just the truth. "Since I don't know how I got here, I cannot make use of it to leave," he continued and then waved around his arms, "I'm not a magical being, so it's not like I could magic myself here." Figuring that would answer in case the dragon thought he 'dreamed' himself here or something. made by kiwii at btn! rebuild by metus at khmm!

| one little spark of imagination~ a dream can be a dream come true "Oooh, so espers can be magical kitties!" Figment clapped and did a little spin. He was right! Well, partialy right. Technically right. And sometimes that was the best kind of right to be! And by Mr. Locke's explanation, technically Figment himself could be classified as an esper. "I suppose that does make sense! About as much sense as magical kitties with psychic powers anyway." he nodded in agreement. "Why yes, I was playing. But I didn't really fall in so much as I jumped in. I did a really nice cannonball dive into it to, it was a hoot!" the dragon once again started floating around, occasionally he'd hover up into the air to survey the land again as he continued chatting with his new friend.
"Falling into it would mean I opened it accidentally. I opened it on purpose. I just didn't know where it was going to go to." zipping back down and in front of Locke once more, he leaned back in the air to ponder. "So you woke up here! Or maybe you only think you woke up and you're still dreaming! This land seems a lot like my home after all, and what better place for a dreamer to go than a land of dreams?" Figment waved around his arms in kind as a response to Locke's own waving. "Everyone has magic in them! After all, Imagination is the greatest magic there is next to friendship! Maybe you didn't magic yourself here on purpose. But there's an ooooold saying. A dream is a wish your heart makes! So maybe your heart wished yourself here upon a dream?" Figment's explanation made total sense! To him at least. He wasn't certain just how well versed anyone else was on this sort of dream theory or whatever you'd want to call it. "Oh if Dreamfinder was here he could figure it out in a jiffy I bet!"
Well there was no use sitting around and moping about it. "Well how you got here is a mystery, but now that you are here, how about we explore! Who knows what sort of treasure we could find here!" Once more Figment did a quick spin around, this time accompanied by a puff of sparkles and smoke. When the smoke cleared the little dragon was dressed up in a replica of Locke's own outfit, bandana and all. "Off to adventure!"
