Just great! And things were looking up too! Rina and Waltz just wouldn't go down and the problem was Vivi and Waltz wee down and out. He spat out and readied himself. There was a lot going on. By the casting she began there was no way she was giving up.
Zidane charged straight forward. It seemed she wanted to keep it up, he just had to catch her by surprise! He pushed through her blades, letting them strike at his form. He took plenty of damage already but if she wanted to really see the limits of his strength than so be it. Vivi was burned out, but he was running just as low. A bit of blood trickled down the minor wounds, the other cuts and burns reminders that sometimes fights had a big cost.
"I guess you don't know when to give up, too bad I don't either!" Zidane called out as he struck his blades toward Rina in a three-fold attack using Booster 8.
The blades, each strike holding the chance to call silence over her voice, would hit forward with enough force to launch her into the air and were he successful, what with her berserker rage likely making her as disinclined as he to dodge, he would continue by leaping into the air after her with Vortex, chaining the attack with three more times, letting the final strike knock her far back from where they stood, of floated were it the case.
Whether or not Vortex managed to land the thief would hit the ground running as magic seemed to expel from his form, where magic would have been the last thing expected from the melee happy rogue. He put his hand to his chest and pulled from his form a concentrated collection of energy which he would hurtle toward Rina, Scoop Art providing him with an extra strike just before his final move...
Mage Masher: Mage Mashers live up to their namesake and have the chance to inflict the Silence status on casters, disabling their ability to cast magic for a one post duration. This is a passive ability and has a 10% (above 90 on a d100 roll) chance of inflicting silence when the blades strike an enemy.
Jump Boost: Raises Zidane's normal, vertical jump from 4m (15ft) to 6m (20ft) when not in trance. [Passive]
Booster 8 - 3 Cooldown After charging forward the thief attacks multiple times (3) before launching the enemy into the air to draw the attack into other combos. This is a single attack, that can be used to open into a combo attack or a stand alone strike. This attack can be used with either blade archetype (Mage Mashers or The Ogre) and can only be started from the ground.
Vortex - 3 Cooldown This attack can only be used midair. An upward spiraling attack that slashes at opponent(s) for light damage, than strikes multiple (3) times to knock them back. This attack can be chained to Booster 8 as a combo finisher. It can be used with either blade archetype (Mage Mashers or The Ogre). This attack strikes all surrounding foes, doing area effecting damage
Scoop Art - 2 Post Cooldown Zidane expels a portion of the energy built up in his body out towards an enemy. This ability can be used from the ground or air and does not need a weapon to be cast. This ability is considered a magical attack so is not affected by Protect-like abilities. This ability has a short range, reaching up to 4ft (1.2m).
