ONE SKY, ONE DESTINY
"Where am I now?" The boy wondered while wandering without willingly whisking his whereabouts through a whirling circle. He passed the same squad of stuffy stumps and stools three times. It seemed there was no trusting the twisting routes and tunnels of branches. Each was merely another road to Rome without having an option to roam free.
Bushes bumbled and bob in a row one at a time, something short disturbing the bog. It caught the key bearer's attention with a lurch of its form. Revealing its true size, a plant spider appeared and aported its appendages from its apex. Inelegant ugliness was the insect flora. Fumbling its face yet focused, lurching yet precisely sticking its dagger legs into the footholds between wavy roots of sunken trees and vines, the plant spider hybrid was upon the boy with its chimeral mandibles.
"Fire!" The boy said, alarmed and hurling his blade before him. Bearing the flame of magic, a ring ripped the limited space around Sora. Heat glanced the monster's fangs, forcing it to flee for a feeble moment. No later did the rims of fire fizzle than the creature did reproach. The blade bore by the boy bounced between his body to be a braced barrier.
"Guard!" He announced with a hoop of light confirming his timing. Riled once again, the plant monster was parried but poised to continue praying upon the perfect morsel of flesh. However selfish it had been before was broken by its overbearing screech. A piercing sound swept over Sora. He knew there would be more so he turned and ran. It didn't matter if he looped around the forest, as long as he kept his pace he could escape from the monsters following him.
He really wished that he had his friends by his side.

"Get out of my way! Do you dare fight a Black Waltz?"
Black Waltz 3 hovered above the Evil Forest, his arms crossed as he watched the little hero battle it out against the monstrous creatures that inhabited the Evil Forest. Heh... What a fool Sora was... Yes, he could take out one Rose-Spider but what of the legions that inhabited the woods? What of the brain that controlled them all? This foolish little human knew not the deathly trouble he had gotten himself into by engaging this creature... The Rose-Spiders in particular with both the eyes and arms of the Brain itself and Sora had just woken them all up...
With an amused chuckle the Waltz watched as the human realized this too turning tail and running blindly through the Evil forest just in time for him to miss a portion of the spider-forces barreling out of the brush after him! The Machine could see it from up here through the tree-tops, a swarm of creatures funneled through the winding trunks, unable to gain quite enough ground due to the various fallen logs and thick bog they were forced to crawl through. It appeared the hostile territory they called home worked as well against them as it did for them, some even stopping to consume the odd Fang-beast or goblin that wasn't fast enough to outrun the hoard!
Each one chittered and screeched as they climbed over one another to get at Sora, their collective voices coming together in a shrill, high-pitched wail that could pierce the hearts of the most mindless black mage or the most stalwart of knights! The little Keyblade warrior made a crucial mistake, however... he did not destroy the brain of these beings BEFORE engaging in it's soldiers! That meant they could plan... In their territory, no army could invade... let alone one man. Slowly, the creatures began to split off into 3 separate hoards, one still chasing Sora, the other two branching off in opposite directions to run ahead and box him in!
Black Waltz No.3 would make his move in time... For now, he was just enjoying the show.

ONE SKY, ONE DESTINY Serpentine strides stole distance from dangerous demons that denied the boy safety. Clad in thorn and needle brush poked the child's extremities. He ignored prickling for the piercing screeches of peril pressed down on his neck, a whisper of death breathing on his sweaty skin. Forced to continue.
Nearing a narrow parting, Sora slid between trees for a unfamiliar gap. He thought he was escaping but that was a very wrong assumption. No, instead he found himself cornered by what seemed like countless combatants. They were coming from everywhere, closing in without a second's notice.
Sora breathed in, the air sour but his lungs forced to adjust. He was pumped with adrenaline, feeling his heart pulsate like a drum. Practice anchored his mind to the present and experience quelled fear. He wished he wasn't alone... but he couldn't count on having an ally at all times. He'd learned that the hard way.
Instead the boy had to rely on his own strength. Though he felt weak, a darkness inside of him a weighted ball, he knew there was strength if he continued to push himself. This was another opportunity, a challenge. If he proved himself here then... then he would be ready to face his friends again with confidence.
"I won't give up. I made a promise." He conjured his keyblade to his hand, then grasping it with the other hand. He swung it overhead, breathing in putrid air but maintaining a pure concentration.
"LIGHT!"
Dark mist vaporized into droplets of rainy bile all over. A sphere of light popped above the boys head while sigyls carved the earth beneath his feet. Plants trembled, waking from deep slumber. The rose red creatures backed off but in hesitation bore witness to true radiance unlike any sunlight that had ever shown itself in these woods.
Blinding even himself, Sora found himself without even a single blood red petal to be seen. But then he realized he wasn't alone... there was a presence in the forest. And it was approaching.

"Get out of my way! Do you dare fight a Black Waltz?" As the creatures cornered him, the Black Waltz's wings folded over himself, his hatred radiating off him in the form of a deep, misty black... The sublimation of his emotions swirled and encased the creature as the keyblader himself let off a massive flash of light, the two opposing forces seeming to both brighten and darken the world at once as they fought for control of this one tiny space... Once the dark had faded away... Black Waltz No. 3 Trance was what hovered there instead... And below where an army once stood was only a child and his oversized Key...
"Oh..?" he whispered, his voice warped and twisted by the darkness within. "You have gotten stronger child... Good. I shall relish breaking you... Again."
...No. Sora wasn't alone... Fore within the bowels of the dark forest rested a presence far more dangerous than any creature... Slowly, the Waltz lowered himself behind Sora, his presence concealed within the already present darkness that inhabited the environment. His eyes glowed darkly within the black beneath the wide rim of his hat, his body crackling softly with the raw voltage his new form produced...
The instant Sora realized the monster standing behind him and turned to face it, a clawed hand would shoot out like a bolt of Thundaga, talons closing around the child's skull and neck, the palm of his hand muffling his mouth. Without any apparent effort, he lifted the boy into the sky should he achieve his grip, a twisted, sharp-toothed grin apparent through the black that was the Waltz's face.
"You shall serve a purpose..." He thundered. "...But first... I shall destroy everything you are."
A bolt thicker than the trunks of the trees and hotter than any fire BLASTED down from the sky above, ripping through the damp wood of the Evil Forest and down upon the child, searing him alive with millions of volts of magically produced electricity.
"Burn to ash, little ant... And may you become useful in the darkness..." Thundaga: Cooldown 3 posts Massive Damage via Trance. Also lasts for 2 posts via Trance
Trance: Lasts for 4 posts. All Spell damage is increased by 1 level and lasts for 1 additional turn. @tag

ONE SKY, ONE DESTINY "Huh? You again!?" Sora said, hearing the voice of that flying foe he'd faced only so long ago. It seemed that Sora hadn't gotten away from him after that forest fire and even followed him all the way here.
The bearer didn't get much of a view of Black Waltz 3 because of a brilliant light flashing into the sky from his hand. He briefly viewed the silhouette of a demonic form. It radiated with a power that surprised the keyblader. Stunned by it also already exhausted from running, Sora didn't even try to avoid his opponent's attempt to grab him.
Even if he had tried... he didn't know if he could have escaped the empowered enemy.
The human responded to the quick clutch with a muffled shout as his face was covered by the lithe hand of the mystic. Then he was trust upward. He gasped as his body exposed to the strongest electrical surge he'd even been hit with. His muscles locked, his heart stopped, and his lungs and chest were pressed flat while he was pinned with pain like a thousand needles puncturing his body. Sora couldn't even scream from how much it hurt. Instead his brain reacted by blacking out after a few seconds.
Once it was over the boy was limp but twitching occasionally from lingering pain.

"Get out of my way! Do you dare fight a Black Waltz?" "Pathetic..." He whispered as Sora crumpled under the force of his electric blast, the supposed 'savior' falling to pieces by one, simple attack. What a joke... This was the warrior Garland required for his plans? What utter nonsense... The only thing he would ever be good for is to be destroyed!...
But then... His job was not to know what the tainted knight was planning. The job of this machine was to drag Sora back to him... alive... And he was alive... if only barely. The Waltz could still feel the faint blood flow through his skin, the warmth of his flesh despite it being fried by his electricity. Sora's chest expanded and contracted faintly... unevenly... but he did so nonetheless.
"You shall serve something greater than your minuscule friends or your precious light... You shall fuel the fires of war... and it will be by honor to burn you on the pyre..."
With that, he would shift his hands down from the boy's face to his back and under his legs, carrying the limp body into the air with a flap of his mighty, raven-like wings... This was nothing more than a delivery job, not unlike those he had done with Rina-
"Shut up..." He hissed, shoving the memories of happier times DEEP within his psyche. "There is only war... only Darkness!"
