Her days had been strange ever since she was pulled from her home and this whole concept of other worlds began to sink into her. While she did not quite understand how she was getting tossed around from one world to another, she did find herself swallowing the idea of multiple worlds easier than she first assumed she would. That part she found fascinating, but also worrisome at the same time.
With multiple worlds out there that meant there was an even a slimmer of chance of her just running into her old friends and allies. Sure she had gotten lucky in the desert and found Edgar, but now she was torn away from him and alone in a new place once more. On top of that there was the matter of Kefka. He was still alive….and if he could travel at will through the worlds, then they were indeed in trouble.
That beast….Why hadn’t he stayed in his grave? Had they just imagine him gone? Or did the dead left unfilled never leave? The questions would whirl in her head as she walked with her head slightly bowed through the large walkway of the building she was in.
This building, just like the desert, was unfamiliar to her and yet something about the strange statues here, the background hums and the smell of incense helped take off the edge of being in an unfamiliar place. At least here it was quiet and devoid of tons of people. Here felt safe. And safe was what she needed right now.
She continued to walk until her pathway widened into a large open space where a large circle of light shown through. Entering that light, the young woman would stand in the middle of it as her feet came to a halt and her eyes drifted up to the beautiful stained glass window that allowed such a shape to be created by the light.
In this warm spot, the woman would close her eyes and begin to pray. Pray for the safety of her children and her friends. Pray for the safety of the worlds and universe. And finally prayed to gain the strength need to take to the field and protect all that was precious to her from the evil that lurked out there once more.
