Warning:This thread contains KH 3 spoilersThis world was intresting to her, How could it not be? Just in the town she landed by, Cornelia their was a castle in the distance! Sora had told her about some of the worlds he visted, about the large castles in some of them... Now she was seeing one herself! It was amzing for a girl like her who had spent most of her life on the islands. The only other one she had been in was the Nobody's base but since she was a prisioner there... She didn't really count it. All around her were homes and stores. They sold weapons, items even lessons in magic! But the most prominent sight to her the fountain at the town's center. It was a beautiful little spot to her. The fountain itself was rater big and the design of it was simple but with it's own appeal. Three small bridges led to it, one of which she had already crossed to bring herself in front of it. Off to her side was another person dancing about the fountain. When people approached her she offered them advice she could only desceibe as fortunes. They were a bit cryptic but the people who asked her questions seemed to be happy with the answers they got. "Should I... Ask about Sora?"No.. how could she possibly know about Sora? They were from a complelty different world. Even if the dancer's fortunes were true they Coudn't work outside her own world right? The novice keybearer crossed her arms in thought, unsure of what to do. Anything that could lead her to Sora was a good thing, of course. But if the dancer's powers wearn't real she could be sent on a wild goose chase! And if that happened... It was even longer she coudn't find him... Her hero. It was longer that he was lost in whatever dark place he was sent to after he saved her. But... If she knew one thing she knew it wss that he wasn't gone... She could feel it in her heart. He was out there somewhere. She would fine him and bring him back to everyone. She had to... Their destiny's were etertwined... She was tired of being split apart at the end of every tale. This time... She wanted a happy ending for everyone, including the one who deserved it most. She leaned back in the opposite end of the fountain away from the dancer, if she was going to ask her advice it would be later. She would find him... But where? Where do you go when your body vanishes into the air? Vaneera

While the Dancer's fortunes might have been cryptic and perhaps not even true or helpful... There were other means of collecting information, such as by listening in on the conversations of those around you. There was some luck in that Kairi was able to hear some people on the street discussing something rather interesting... "Hey, have you heard the latest story about the attacks? We had someone just come in talking about strange monsters, and a warrior wielding a giant key to fend them off.", one man would comment, prompting a bewildered reaction out of the other man, who laughed in response.
"A giant key? I think he just got scared and imagined things while running away... Still, good that they didn't get hurt.", well... Good thing that stories spread around so fast. That sounded fairly recent, like the battle was still going on -- Of course, there was the matter of whether or not that was true. That was much harder to say, and might warrant some investigation.
______
A small time before...
Well. Vaneera had gotten herself into an interesting predicament. This was the first time that the Keyblade Wielder got to experience what it was like to travel through a Corridor of Darkness. As for why that had happened... She had been battling a particularly fearsome Heartless, before it opened up the portal in a last ditch effort to escape. Unfortunately, Vaneera had been close enough at the time to get dragged into the Corridor of Darkness, and now that she was here, it was better for her to keep moving, since going back wasn't exactly an option now... She'd just have to find a way back later. For now, she decided to tail her target, making sure not to lose track of it! It was her best chance at the moment, especially if she wanted to get out of here. If that thing ran from her once, then it would probably try the same thing all over again!
"Let's hope you're still a coward...", she'd mutter, keeping pace with the Heartless with her Keyblade in hand.
Soon enough, it opened another Corridor in order to hopefully escape from it's pursuer, but Vaneera had leapt through it and found herself landing on the ground in a new world. A quick glance of her surroundings confirms that this was definitely not San Fransokyo... That aside, she did see some signs of civilization, namely because of the dirt road, and on that road was a caravan. Unfortunately, that caravan was now being attacked by the Heartless that the Keyblade Wielder was chasing. Along with some other, unusual monsters. Vaneera would cast aside hesitation and get right into the fight! She notes that the people aren't injured yet, and after cutting down one of the strange green monsters, she yells to get the attention of everyone in the vicinity.
"Hey! Get to safety, I'll handle the fighting!", with that out of the way, she'd use some of her magic to get the attention of the beasts in the area, as well as the Heartless itself. Now they'd focus on her, instead of anyone that was injured or dazed in the attack, and that would give them the opportunity to escape. Still... There were a lot here, wasn't there? Well, there was only one thing to do about that. Vaneera levels her Keyblade, readying for battle.
With that, the clashing ensues -- And the people in the area have the time to escape thanks to her timely arrival. Still, this battle wasn't going to end anytime soon either. But the Keyblade Wielder wasn't worried about that, and she wasn't about to run either.
"Right... Now I can focus on taking you down!"

Overhearing the passerbys words had the immidate effect of perking her up. A warrior wielding a key huh? Their were only a few people she knew who fit that description. But their was one specifcully she wanted it to be. What made her smile was while all of those keybearers she knew would protect the worlds this one specificully would do so like this, fighting off random Heartless that might be targeting people in the fields. It... It gave her hope despite the odds! Yes if their was a chance it was Sora... She had to take it! Her feet took pace as she ran past the people telling the rumor, she ran straght for the town's gate. "Please.... Let him be..!"But when she came to the fields outside the town... It wasn't her. It wasn't even one of her friends. This was a stranger, a new keybearer she hadn't seen before. She coudn't help but be disapointed. She knew the odds were low but she had still hoped that maybe... Just maybe he'd be here. Instead what she found was this hooded girl fighting a Heartless, advising people town to find safety. At least that made it unlikely it was any left overs from Xehanort's group! They tended not to be to helpful towards things not benficial to their goals. She was disapointed but... This girl was still showing bravery. A lot of it to! To stand up to a big Heartless like that... She remebered when she would have been far more fearful. But not anymore, as brave as she was this woman was going to need help!"Hey! I've got your back! Let's clear them out"A nearby Goblin would recive a hard kick from her knee, stumbling back as she struck into it with her keyblade. Following this would be a shot of Fira and Watera to the bigger threat here... The big Heartless, that large wolf like being of darkness. They would need to be careful, pace themselves. While the Heartless was indeed the biggest threat they would need to watch the smaller beasts around them to. If they were allowed to much freedom they could quickly become a big threat as well. The novice keybearer had a look determination despite her words though. She was still knew to travling the worlds but... She wss finally gaining the experence she needed to know ehay she was doing. She was determined to put all that training with Merlin and Lea to good use! "We should stay together, it'll be harder for them to overwhelm us that way!"It made her feel good, happy to be the one to help someone else. She was glad her training had allowed her to do so. Even if this wasn't Sora she could tell she was a good person. The fact she went out of her way to help the surrounding people proved that. It warmed her heart to see more people like that... But now that brave soul needed a little help to get through this! Just before the battle kicked off into something really ugly... Someone showed up to help out! It wasn't someone that Vaneera recognized, but what she could piece together in pretty short order is that it was another Keyblader, and one that wasn't afraid to fight at that! Kairi had kicked one of the Goblins and then cut it down in short order, following up with use of magic to target the Wolf Heartless that Vaneera was chasing earlier. Now that she had some backup... This fight looked like it would be a lot more manageable! The red-haired girl would quickly maneuver herself to cover Kairi's blindspots, and in turn the newfound ally could do the same for her.
The main target was obviously that Heartless, but the Goblins running around were making things pretty complicated... "The little guys don't seem to be Heartless... So it's kind of strange that they're working together with one.", Vaneera would comment aloud, trying to make sense of the situation. She had seen some people control Heartless before, but were these things really capable of controlling a Heartless that was so powerful? It just didn't add up in her head.
"Still, I think you've got the right idea... Sticking together would be the best thing to do in this fight. Just one problem with that. I don't think he's very happy after that magic you used!", she'd point out the Wolf Heartless, which was now barreling towards them at full speed -- Caring not for anything caught in the crossfire either, it trampled over the Goblins and knocked them aside as it beared down on the Keyblade Wielders. "Guess that means they aren't working together!", she quickly commented, before leaping into the fray to cover Kairi! The first thing she would do is... Vanish from the spot, and appear right in front of the Wolf Heartless's Head. She would strike it once fiercely, and vanish once more as the Wolf loses balance and tumbles to the ground.
Each time that it tries to get up, Vaneera would reappear and strike it in the head once more, causing it to stumble back onto the ground! Of course, as effective as this attack was, she couldn't keep it up forever, and so Vaneera would teleport a small distance away, back towards Kairi, and pace herself. Just in time, too. Some of those Goblins decided to make a nuisance of themselves. She would strike one down, turn, and strike another! Unfortunately in that timespan, the Wolf Heartless was getting back onto it's feet. It shook it's head, and regathered it's bearings. It growled at the pair of Keybladers. Obviously in a rather poor mood after the collective damage it had just taken from Kairi's magic, and the attack from Vaneera herself.
Still, it seems like they had this situation under control, if they fought carefully...------ Kairi Actions: 1 - Strike Blitz @ Wolf Heartless 2 - Basic Attack @ Goblin 3 - Basic Attack @ Goblin Cooldowns: Strike Blitz (0/3) Notes: Feel free to control any enemies as you please!

"I think... They may be native creatures. From what I've been told local creatures and the Heartlees don't usually get along... Maybe were just the bigger threat to them?"
It would make sense to her anyway. While wild beasts and such were of course a danger to them, Heartless were invaders to the world as a whole, so she coudn't imagine even the native wild animals or monsters liking them very much or working together unless say .. two keyblade wielders were bearing down on them though on the other hand that was assuming Vaneera just radomly attacked this group when they were fighting or near each other but... That didn't deem to be the case ether. It... Woudn't be a very smart move if she had. Maybe she was looking at this from the wrong angle? Ether way the important thing right now was clearing up the threat itself. The hooded girl seemed to agree that they should stay together though and that was good. She was happy she wasn't like Sora just running off into danger or something.
...though she supposed she wasn't much better at times in that regard.
She would catch Vaneera's warning, eyes going wide as she dodge rolled out of the way of stampeding wolf heartless. The Goblins squished along the way seemed to confirm her earlier theory. They defently wearn't any kind of allies.. though at least now they only had the Heartless to deal with. As Kairi landed her own blow to send it back the keybearer fired a Thunder spell from her own keyblade to keep the preassure on it and hopefully weaken its movement. While Vaneera kept attacking the heartless a devious little idea came to her head. If these goblins were akin to more feral humans as their actions seemed to make it look... She could use that. She would run up to a small group of the remaining Goblins. Though at first they primed themselves to attack Kairi seemed to stun them in place with an innocnet wink and smile.
"You know girls love it when brave little guys like you fight for them, we could use a little help ya know?"
Her plan worked a little TO effectivly as while Kairi had only intended the Goblins to be a distraction they were now collectivly attacking the Heartless as a whole, keeping it pinned. As she returned to Vaneera's side she would frown rubbing the back of her head. One by one the Goblin's were getting tossed aside rather violently.... But they were defenetly distracting it.
"I feel a bit bad honestly... I didn't think the effect would be that strong"
Though the Goblin's holding the beast down would give them another opening, hopefully one they could try to out down or at least heavlily damage the Heartless! For her part Kairi focused light energy to the tip of her keybladr and fired a strong ball of light at her foe! Hopefully it would give Vaneers her own chance to do some real damage!

Kairi had mentioned that usually Heartless and native life to a planet didn't typically cooperate with each other. That was true enough, Vaneera had never observed a case of that happening very often; though it did sometimes... She had seen a few people that wrested control over Darkness, and in turn they could command the Heartless as well. But it didn't seem like these little Goblins were like that, either. But there was not much time to focus on that at the moment, they needed to resolve this fight and quickly! This was a particularly dangerous breed of Heartless after all. As the Keyblade Wielder thought over her next moves, she would be surprised to find the remaining Goblins rushing onto the scene.
... And ignoring her entirely as they swarmed the Wolf Heartless instead. Vaneera blinked, a little confused as to what just happened. Eventually Kairi would walk over, mentioning that she felt a little bad for them. Did... Kairi somehow convince the Goblins to fight with them against the Heartless? "... Huh?! How did you do that?!", she couldn't help but express her sheer surprise. Vaneera was of a tactical mindset, and she wasn't exactly unskilled in diplomacy, but... Communicating with these things seemed impossible.
But Kairi went and did it, and now they were fighting like there was no tomorrow for their little lives! Well, Vaneera wasn't going to let their efforts go to waste if they really COULD be reasoned with, and it seemed like Kairi had the same thought. The red haired girl would dismiss her Keyblade for a moment, running into the fray as she charged two separate magical spells. One of fire, and one of ice. She leaps into the air, and as she's soaring over the Wolf Heartless, she releases both spells at once, raining them down on the occupied beast! With that done, Vaneera would summon her Keyblade once more, and charge yet another spell. This time one of lightning.
She would drop down far faster than normal, and slam the tip of her Keyblade into the Wolf as lightning surged forth! By now, the strength of the enemy was massively depleted, and it probably wasn't going to last for much longer... But then again, you know what they say about cornered animals. They could fight harder than ever before, and it was difficult to tell if that was going to be the case here or not.------ Kairi Actions: Fire @ Wolf Heartless Ice @ Wolf Heartless Thunder @ Wolf Heartless Cooldowns: Fire (0/1) Ice (0/1) Thunder (0/1) Strike Blitz (1/3)

Kairi smiled at Vaneera's question. She supposed it was a fair question to ask, after all the Goblin's had been fighting against them up until a moment ago. At first the young keybearer rubbed the back of her head shyly, before turning on her heel and forming a V shape her fingers across her face with a large, proud grin.
"Sometimes you just have to put on the charm you know? Havn't you ever done that?"
Of course it wasn't something you used to take advantage of people, but this situation called for it. Even so she felt bad for the Goblin's despite their wild nature. It was her hope they could take this Heartless down well they held it in place. Hopefully they would just dispurce after that.
"We should take advantage of the opening though don't you think? They'll probaly only be able to hold it for so long!"
She wasn't an expert like Sora and Riku but she could use her head to come up with different plans to handle things. The more she traveled the more she learned what she should do. With two keybearer's on this to... They should be more than enough to make this area safe again right?
Vaneera charged in with some magic, Kairi's own still needed to recover a bit so instead she would take advantage of both the Goblins attack and and Vaneera's magic assault to charge the Heartless from the front, empowering her keybalde with light she struck out at it's face, watching as the beast weakned from their assault. Goblins were swung off as they made their move, a sigh of guilt escaped her lips. They were monsters but she coudn't help but feel responsible as they fled. She hoped they got back to their homes ok. But for now...
"Hey! Let's finish this thing, before it can get itself back together!"
She struck out agaisnt the beasts face with a strong kick to staggger it before giving a nod to Vaneera to close in with her. Light charged in her blade she charged forth and attempted to strike through the Heartless!
"Let's finish this!"
Hopefully this would be enough. She was still new to actual combat, as a result her stamina wasn't as good at her friends. But she was still determined to improve herself. Determined to protect people who coudn't protect themselves... And help people who needed it.
She... Would see this through!

There was another brief lull in the battle, as the Wolf Heartless was weakened enough for Vaneera and Kairi to talk. The girl ends up saying that she just used her charm -- and asked whether or not Vaneera had done it before. That prompted her to raise her free hand and scratch the back of her own head. "I'm not really attractive enough for that sort of thing... I think most people are more intimidated by how I look than anything.", she admits.
Still, the combined attacks from the Goblins, Kairi, and Vaneera herself seems to have done the trick in at least wearing down their mighty foe. It would only take a few more good attacks to wrap it up now! That was a thought that Kairi shared as well, as she charged light into her Keyblade. With that in mind, Vaneera would do the same! Although not quite to the same expertise as Kairi could do it... Though you could look at the two and say they were using light to empower their blades, there were key differences.
Vaneera's light was still wild, almost feral. Like she was using it as little more than a weapon to crush the opposition. It reflected in her attack, a final large swing which cracked the ground on impact as it dealt impressive damage to the Heartless! Finally, it's form would break apart and dissipate... The particles of Darkness would suddenly begin to change color to white, and begin to crystallize.
They formed tiny shards, which then flew towards Vaneera. She flinches lightly as they pierce into her body, and are summarily absorbed. They leave no visible wound once all is said and done, however. The red-haired girl would simply let out a small sigh of relief... Both at the fight having been won, and that the bit of pain was over now. She would calmly dismiss her Keyblade, as a downright peaceful silence washes over the field they found themselves standing in.
"That wasn't so bad!", Vaneera then comments with a grin.
It seems like they might actually be able to have a proper introduction and conversation...
... At least until the remaining Goblins would rush back onto the scene. Vaneera was a little concerned at first, but they weren't wielding weapons. Instead, they simply flocked around Kairi, cheering.
Although it was a little hard to tell what they were saying... You could pick out a couple of words they were using...
"They uh... They think you're their Queen now."_______ Kairi Cooldowns: Fire (1/1) Ice (1/1) Thunder (1/1) Strike Blitz (2/3)

The Heartless came down with a thud. Slowly it began to disperse and with that Kairi gave a cheer, pumping her fist into the air in celeberation. They had done it! Her first real battle with one of the big ones and they took it down! She was glad, even excited. This fime she was able to really make a difference. She helped her fellow keybearer and even stopped this thing from attacking any innocent people!
"We did it it's down and out!"
The Heartless disperence though gave her the chance to pay closer attention to what Vaneera said before. Intimidating? That seemed odd to her. Sure she was a bit pale but she seemed nice enough to her, and she certainly didn't act that way. She certantly didn't look scary. Maybe it was in her head? She could only imagine that to be so as if she were to take off the hood or readjust it she could see het putting off the same charm she did. Maybe she didn't want to?
"Hey don't knock yourself! You don't seem scary to me, how about... I help you dress up and really bring out your charm, who knows, maybe it will get you that special someone!"
The last part was more a shot in the dark made with a teasing grin on her face. She liked to mess around herself after all! Which she could now do with things safe, hopefully her new friend didn't mind to much-she just coudn't resist!
Though her teasing quickly stopped as she saw what came next. The rements of the Heartless seemed to crystlize and then fly into Vaneera, who then visably seemed to feel pain as they ddi so-causing Vaneera to quickly run foward putting a hand on her shoulder in concern. Vaneera seemed to try and put it off, but the frown and look of concern was clear on Kairi's face-even casting Cura on instinct to try and ease any lingering pain she might have had, not knowing it was already over.
"Are you ok? That fight was rough, how did you..."
But she was interupted by the goblins flooding back in, celebrating around her. It wss hard to understand them, until Vaneets made it clear, causing Kairi to become nervous. Oh this really had backfired hadn't it? Rubbing the back of her head she turned to Vaneera, her expreddion clearly asking for help.
"Ummm... What should I do? Any ideas?"
She tried to consol the goblins, talk them down but...
She wasn't getting anywhere!

Well, it seems like Kairi was just as relieved that the Heartless was defeated. Though what she said after only caused Vaneera to grow flustered. A dress? Finding a special someone? A light blue blush was filling Vaneera's face now... "Jeez, no one's going to be interested in seeing a girl that's as pale as a ghost with glowing blue eyes.", she challenged the notion, though from her general demeanor and tone, it didn't seem like she was entirely angry about the idea... More just accepting the lot she had been given, almost.
Though... It seemed like Kairi was pretty worried about the Darkness that was purified earlier and absorbed into Vaneera, even casting a healing spell to ease the pain... "Ah, it's okay... It's just related to my power.", she briefly answers. It seemed like the girl was going to want to know more about that, and Vaneera was going to answer to the best of her abilities, although... Fortunately -- or perhaps unfortunately -- the Goblins showed up on the scene soon after, praising their newfound ruler and making merry at their latest victory.
Some of the little green fellows started to collect the spoils from the freshly abandoned wagon, and offer them to their new Queen. "Haha... Well, it looks like they really look up to you, and want to earn your respect. I guess it's your call on how you want to handle these guys. It looks like they'll listen to any orders you give them -- and they sort of understand our speech?"
One of the goblins looked over at Vaneera, and nodded. Apparently thinking that she was some sort of enforcer for the Queen...
"I guess they're not all bad. But they do have some dangerous habits, and they were trying to steal earlier, so... I guess this is your chance to reform them?", she'd then offer some advice. It didn't seem like Kairi was the type to go executing living beings like these guys, and they weren't totally lost causes either...
It seemed more like she would be comfortable trying to reform them, although that did mean... "You'd probably have to direct them to do good as their Queen though... At least until you set up a proper system for them, and get them a good reputation so they won't be left high and dry."------- Kairi Cooldowns: Strike Blitz (3/3)

"You'd be surprised! You really don't give yourself enough credit-you look great! I'm sure you've got at least one admirer! Come on, I'm right aren't? Trust me I know these things!"
The teasing only continued with comidic glare from the redhead, hand rested under her chin. Of course she didn't know for sure, she was only going by the flustered reactions of her fellow keybearer. But it was fun to see her reactions. It reminded her of the times she was able to pull one over on Riku and Sora. Especially on Sora.
Of course she was dealing with her own akwardness in figuring out how to deal with these goblins! She leaned down, scratching the back of her head as she tried to figure it out.
"Well umm... As your errr... Queen?..."
Geez that was still so akward, Kairi-Queen of the goblins! It made her want to flail.
"You should not bother the humans around the town anymore and ummm go back to your cave or whatever and hunt the bad monsters!"
The goblins gave them a clear look of confusion-likely at what was supposed to be considered a 'bad' monster. But none the less with a whine they would begin to walk off back to their own home.
"Jeez... That went a bit crazier than I expected..."
It seemed she had many areas to improve in.... Even her charm? Yep Kairi was fully aware of how green she was, only having had mostly training fights with Lea up until this point. Pretty much in all aspects she would need to improve as she traveled, both combat wise and the various forms of speech and negotiation. But this fight had already given her things to learn and grow from, as had her newfound friend. Though now that this threat was handled.... What would that friend need to do now? Kairi still wanted to explore this world some for any clues to where Sora had gone. Of course she wasn't about to burden the girl with that though. She felt bad enough that Riku had to search, even if she understood his stake in doing so was just as strong as hers. She coudnt help but feel like finding that spikey haired rascal was her responsibility.
"With that Heartless gone... What are your plans now Vaneera? I assume your not from around here ether"
Yeah she was just a bit better at the whole 'Their appearance is clearly different from anyone else on this world' thing than Sora was.
She had no comment on Riku's place above or below her in that respect though.

Vaneera began to avert her gaze and blush -- which was a notably light blue color instead of red. "Tch... Ridiculous. Why would I have an admirer?", she grumbled, just loud enough to be legible... Fortunately, there wouldn't be too much time to focus on that sort of thing, as Kairi turned her attention to her newly acquired Goblin Army.
Surprisingly enough, she managed to convince them to change their ways and head back home... Vaneera silently wondered if solving the issue was really that simple, but she merely kept her arms crossed and let it play out, watching the Goblins pack up and leave like nothing had happened. She smirks a little as Kairi says that things went a little crazier than expected.
Now that distractions were out of the way, they could properly talk with each other and figure out what was going on. Kairi was the first to get her foot in the door by asking what Vaneera planned to do now. The red headed girl takes a moment to think it over... Though there was sort of an elephant in the room that she had to address first.
"Well, I'm sure you already know the inherent dangers that a Keyblade brings. So I can't exactly devote any attention to someone that's taking a romantic interest in me. I'd be putting them in unnecessary danger.", she explains firstly.
"Even if I wanted to, it would cause me to slow down in my training, and limit the time I can spend patrolling to defeat the Heartless, and generally fight back the Darkness as a whole.... I have a responsibility as a Keyblade Wielder."
With that said, she'd calmly turn and summon her Keyblade, looking at it for a moment. "I need to become a Master... So I can take on Apprentices. So they can do the same thing, and so on. Until there's a lot more of us.", she begins to elaborate.
She raises her Keyblade gently, gazing upon it as it gleams in the light of the sun.
"Then we can really start to fight back... All the worlds that we could save, all the people that could be protected... Maybe we could even bring some of them back -- people and worlds alike."
She smiles at that thought, and then lowers her arm and dismisses her Keyblade... Though... Now that she had explained all of that... There was something a bit concerning.
Enough to cause her to flinch with sudden realization as Kairi pointed it out.
"Speaking of worlds...! This must be another world entirely from the one that I came from!"
Vaneera began to look around. It didn't look particularly advanced, and of course, the portal that she had used to come here was long gone.
"Damn. I chased that Heartless through the Corridor of Darkness, but I didn't think I would be stranded in another world with no way to get back. This is a bit of a problem."
She would then turn to Kairi, letting out a small sigh.
"So to properly answer your question... I'm going to be searching for a way to travel between worlds. What about you?", Vaneera then queries.

"Is that so...?"
Put them in danger huh? It was clear to her their was someone Vaneera was referring to, if out of instinct if nothing else. Why else wold she be so detailed in her worry? She could simply leave it not wanting it right now. No.. their was someone this applied to~ she coudnt help but grin at that thought despite the serious tone the pale girl had taken. It was good to have someone to protect, it was a beautiful thing. But you should never leave the one your protecting in the dust-on purpose or by accident.
"Thats pretty brave of you, putting it aside for them"
Yep she spoke it matter of factly, but... Eventually she broke down though. Broke into a giggling fit as memories came to her. Memory card d of the past-of Sora and Riku. Of all the time they went off and left her on the islands. It was all to protect her. She understood that. But it didn't mean she liked it. It didn't mean she didn't want to go with them just once. Or to at least stay by their sides.
"Sorry just... That's really familiar, Can I offer some advice?"
She turned back to her fellow keybearer and smiled. Warm, as Kairi's always was. She was not scolding Vaneera's words-she wasn't even saying they were wrong.
"If my guess is right.... You should talk to that person. Speak to them... You shouldn't leave them behind if it's against their wishes, in the long run it will hurt them more than any wound"
Guesses aside, she should address the matter of what seemed to be Vaneera's goal. Another Noble meaning intention on the surface. But that many keybearers... It reminded her of a tale. One she used to hear from her Grandma. Even now she coudnt help but mutter it in response to Vaneera's question.
"Long ago... People lived in peace, bathed in the light..."
She would repeat the words of her Grandma word for word, a solem look on her face as she did so. She knew the context to that story now. Or at least as much as anyone living in this time could.
"That... Was the Keyblade War... I don't think.. their should be a lot of keybearers like that again. They cant all be trained properly and... I think it will just repeat my Grandma's tale..."
She shook her head though, it wasn't her place to tell Vaneera what to do with her life and her key. No that was up to her. All she could do was give her opinion as a fellow wielder.
"But mass producing keyblade wielders like that... I can only imagine it would weaken the bond to. That's one of the most important things, one of the strongest powers the world's know. The bond between friends and the people you love... You could have hundreds of keybearers but if they lack that bond they would fall as easy as just seven... That's what I think anyway I've... I've seen it"
From experience.
She would then shrug a bit trying to take a more light tone and stance for herself and Vaneera.
"But I'm sure your master knows what he's doing. After all he's a Master of the Keyblade to I'm sure, if he's going to help you become one"
It only made logical sense to Kairi. She had no way of knowing the details behind it. On a more important note it seemed like Vaneera was in fact surprised now that she had noticed her situation. So this wasn't the world she came from... She thought as much. It sounded like she didn't have a way back ether! This was... Conflicting. What should she do? She wanted to continue searching-what if he was somewhere on this world? But she coudnt just abandon Vaneera to fend for herself ether.
"What would you do Sora...?"
The thought only had to rest in her head for a minute before she let out another chuckle. That was easy. Sora would do what Sora always did.
"I have a ship, we can use it to take you back to your world!"

The wheels seemed to be turning in Kairi's head. But at least she didn't have enough information to work off of to tell exactly who Vaneera was referring to... Though in her defense, she wasn't trying to imply there was anyone specific either. It was supposed to be a non-specific refusal of the notion. But it didn't seem like her new ally gave up that easily either...
And then Kairi just started giggling. That prompted Vaneera to arch a brow, wondering what was so funny. Soon enough, she apologizes and queries on whether or not she can offer advice. The red-haired girl has no particular reason to refuse it, and so gives a nod in response, listening intently to what Kairi has to say about this.
At first, Vaneera put up a pretty tough front about it, but as Kairi gently explained it... That front began to pull back, and revealed how she really felt.
"I know that I should probably just talk with her about it... I just worry about what would happen if I let her irresponsibly run into danger."
Vaneera sighs, closing her eyes as she thinks it over. It was a little silly to openly discuss something like this to a complete stranger, but... Kairi seemed to mean well too. Eventually, Vaneera opens her eyes and begins to elaborate.
"This person is a bit different... She was heavily afflicted with Darkness. It led to Heartless being strongly attracted to her. I only barely managed to get her out of it all safely. And now there's a group hunting her down, just as interested in trying to grow that Darkness inside of her."
She pauses for a moment, letting Kairi take all of this info in.
"They control the Heartless too... I'm really worried about what happens if she takes in too much of that stuff. It can't lead to anything good. It's safer for me to handle things as they are right now."
Motet would never agree to any of that anyway. She'd insist on just coming along with Vaneera. It's not that she wasn't appreciative of her being around, it was just a scary thought that never left her mind. Kairi could see just how much it really weighed her down, too.
Still. All of that would be set to the side for a moment, as Kairi began to speak of a cautionary tale. That of the Keyblade War. Something that Vaneera had only heard bits and pieces of from Skuld thus far. Suffice to say, it was a lot to take in! It was not a story with a particularly happy ending, and it seems to have led to the state of things right now...
That gave her food for thought. She was silently considering all of this, up until Kairi said that very last line about her Master. That caused Vaneera to flinch a little, and then she began to scratch the back of her own head.
"Uh... Heheh. My Master actually doesn't have a Keyblade... Well, Master Blacknore doesn't! But Master Skuld does! They er... Don't see eye to eye, though. Skuld says she's going to teach me how to be a proper Keyblade Wielder, but it sounds like there's a lot of preparations she has to make. The whole idea just sort of sprung up after I got my Keyblade, so..."
With that said and done, Kairi would then make one last decision; use her ship to take Vaneera back to her own world!
"You have a ship that can do that? Amazing... I don't think we have anything like that just yet on my world..."
But San Fransokyo would probably be the closest to pulling it off, short of the world that already discovered the technology, anyway.------ Kairi
