Straight on till Morning | Escape was somewhat fleeting, as it had seperated her from her new friends, leaving her once more alone in a strange place. Her body flopping and spinning, Tinkerbell would feel the impact of the ground as she made contact, hitting the concrete with enough force to leave her daze. Struggling to stand, the pixie would hold her head, her legs wobbling from one side to the next, finally regaining her senses to see what looked like a large steel platform. Rising up, her eyes would grow curious, attempting to make out just what she was looking at. The glow of her own light gave off a bit of it's semblance, yet only allowing for her to be reflected upon it. Her hands reaching up to her hair, she would notice it's more dishoveled appeared, causing a silent breath to emerge as she attempted to fix it, only for it go on edge upon the loud horn blowing forwards.
Teeth clenched, hands once more upon her ears to shield them, the tinker fairy would fly off, looking back only to see the train rumbling down the now confirmed tracks. The sky appeared as if it not seen light in some time, but considering the appearance of this ruined metropolis, it may not have been far off an assumption. Floating down, she saw many individuals shuffling by, each seeming either lost in their thoughts or unaware of their surroundings. Flying up to one as they were standing on a corner, she waved her hands in his direction, finally prompting his attention before causing a scream to emerge from his lips. He'd swat at her once, the magical being narrowly avoiding the blow as he called her a mutated monster. Tinkerbell could only lower her jaw, shocked in being called a monster, her glow becoming red as she quickly flew into him, her body slamming into his nose with enough force to flip him over, seeming to draw attention to her.
Clapping her hands together as to clean them off, her expression remained narrowed before closing her eyes as she picked off what other debris she felt might have made her give off such an appearance, yet then flying backwards just as a hand tried to grab her. Clearly, these people were nothing like the ones she had met prior, though she found their actions to be vaguely familiar of that of the human world. To be truthful, the city itself looked like something of their making, if not a bit dirty and desolate. Though with them clearly wanting her gone, Tinkerbell would then wave her fist in their direction, her body flying off as a means to get further away from the place she wasn't welcomed.
Deeper into the alleyways, the clear sorrow that lingered on the faces of so many, she couldn't very well say that she liked this place. If anything, the teary eyed faces of some of the children made her slow in her pace, staring over at them with a concerned glance. As much she wanted to comfort them, she found the echoes of yells coming from her back, forcing her to press on, closing her eyes to try not to think about it. No one deserved to live like this. But as much as she wanted to do something, she had a feeling that it would hardly do as much good as someone bigger. Opening her eyes, she would see what looked to be an open window, her body flying in that direction before feeling the heavy slam of the glass connecting to her face. Her body sliding down it, Tink would slump down onto the window sill, head spinning as it felt like stars were circling her head.

Things had been going rather well for the bald Turk, after everything that happened with AVALANCHE and the meteor fall on all the sectors and then when he had to fight beside the Ex Soldier Cloud and the rest of AVALANCHE to fight against the fragments of Sephiroth. After all their encounters and being on opposite sides there had come an agreement between the groups, though Rude was still a Turk and if AVALANCHE did anything that went against their mission he would stop them, in the mean time they were somewhat friends... Friends enough that the leader of AVALANCHE Barret would let Rude babysite Marlene, his daughter when he needed it. In Rude's defense he did this to get closer to Tifa, the foxy woman with fists of mountains, he had always had a soft spot for her. Even when they fought, Rude never laid a finger on her though he did that for most girls nowadays. That did not mean he didn't enjoy baby sitting the young seven year old, he enjoyed hanging around with kids and always thought he'd be a good father but right now, he was uncle Rude. The two were sitting in the living room of one of Rude's apartments in the sector, Rude often resorted to playing dolls with the young girl or telling her stories about when he saved damsels in distress from bad guys. Of course some of his stories were just that, but Rude like to paint himself in the spot light especially to Marlene who he felt looked up to him in some ways. As the two were playing with dolls, Rude obviously getting real into character to try and make Marlene laugh, he heard something slap against the window... It wasn't a rock otherwise it might have smashed it and animals weren't too common in this area so it couldn't be a bird... "Wait here a second Marly." He said smiling too her as he stood up and started walking towards the window, taking off his glasses so he could see better in the dim light outside. Not really being able to see anything at first, he opened up the window to get a better look and upon opening the window a very bright orb of light seemed to sit on the window sill. "What the hell is this?" He said maybe too loud, hopefully Marlene would not hear him... He really didn't need to be telling Marlene bad words otherwise Barret would put him right on the end of his gun arm. Marlene Wallace @tinkerbell

Marlene was happy to be spending time with Rude; she found him fascinating, from his shiny reflective shades (of which she was kind of envious) to his prim and proper attire, kept impeccable at all times, if possible. She liked the stories he told, and was always eager to hear new ones; he was a great storyteller, and there was never a dull moment. Even though she sometimes wondered if she might be too old to play with dolls, Rude didn't seem to mind, and he certainly made them much more like action figures and the adventures were always lively. He seemed to like being with her, and she felt safe with him, like family; and perhaps he was, watching over her as much as he did.
She was happily playing with him when she, too, heard the strange sound, and when Rude told her to stay put, she nodded, watching him avidly, curious but also wary, because she could see that he was being cautious; something must not be right. However, he said something (the words she didn't quite catch the words) but it caught her curiosity, and the temptation was just a bit too much to resist.
Careful to stay behind Rude, she peeked around him to see what he was looking at, and her eyes grow round in wonder.
"Rude..? Do you know fairy tales?"

Straight on till Morning | It took a few moments, but soon it felt as if the world would stop spinning around the small pixie, causing her head to shake quickly from one side to the next. Yet, as everything became clear, she would soon a large man looming over her, her expression growing blank as she tilted her head to the side. The male was clearly trying to identify her, but she imagined his vision must have been quite lacking due to his dark spectacles. In the end, she would soon fly up, directly confronting him as she crossed her arms and seemed to move in unison with the man's head movements. Though as the giant seemed to question just what she was, another human appeared behind him, causing the fairy to lean slightly to the side as she could see the child and nodded in with a smile on her face.
Of course, she didn't really recognize herself as a tale, there were more than a few stories that depicted her as such. A magical creature that was more myth than reality, or so one had stated. But, it was better than being a called a monster, to which Tinkerbell delighted in such a different introduction. Zipping inside, she would then land upon a small shelf, looking around as she balanced herself upon the slight space between the edge and the contained documents. There appeared almost to be a numerous amount, yet nothing that could really identify her. Still, she would point towards one of the hard covered text, then pointed back to Marlene with her acknowledging her statement.
From there, she would gaze up towards her surroundings, finding herself in awe of the technology. It was certainly new to her, some of it having been seen in her travels once before. But, it was bit more extensive this time, the fairy once again floating into the air as she made her way to a holographic display of a globe, her head soon spinning around as she watched it almost in a trance.

As Rude looked down at the ball of light it was strangely like nothing he had ever seen, at first he looked out the window to see if someone was shining some sort of torch at his window but when he moved his hand out to block the direction it may have been coming from the orb remained there. Taking off his sunglasses, an action that wasn't done too often done by the Turk, Rude leaned in closer to the mysterious object. As he did the orb moved and he almost jumped back, but feeling Marlene behind him and hearing her he turned away from the light to look at her, "Ughh Yeah.." As he turned back tot he orb it was directly in front of his face. His eyes adjusting to look into the center of the light, Rude could have sworn he saw a young girl inside... With Wings... And a very short dress. It was crossing its arms and as he moved his head she moved too, his hand want out to rest on Marlene's head just to make sure that if this thing attacked it wouldn't hurt the young child. Then it moved, Rude quickly moved in front of Marlene more and started circling her as the little fairy flew inside and started zipping around the shelf before landing. "What is it doing?" He questioned taking a few steps forward and raising his fists, he had fought monsters before but never something this small and quick too. Now that he had seen her properly she was no longer a ball of light so he watched as she balanced herself on the edge. The girl pointed to Marlene and now Rude was a little concerned, though it did seem somewhat harmless. It looked in awe of what was around it and Rude decided that he would help it out a little, walking over to the globe he started typing on the computer underneath it. "We are here." He said moving the globe and zooming in on the sector that they were currently in, he then looked to the fairy as he zoomed back out and spun the globe. "Where are you from?" He then looked over to Marlene to check that she was okay, it didn't seem like this was going to be an attack so the Turk let his guard down... Just for now to find out what was going on and what this thing was. @tinkerbell Marlene Wallace

Marlene was amazed by the appearance of the glittering, glowing being, and she peeked around Rude to look at her with obvious curiosity, leaning closer until Rude put a hand on her head and she realized he wanted her to be careful, and that he was trying to be protective of her. She nodded, giggling when she saw the fairy mimic Rude as he moved his head. She watches as the fairy comes inside, and appears to be trying to say something, pointing at Marlene, and then books on the shelf. Marlene's eyes grew round, and she gasped in amazement.
"I think she really is a fairy! Just like the stories! But real!"
She moves close to Rude to watch them interact, Rude telling the fairy where they are, and asking her where she was from. She had never seen a real fairy before. She got closer to the fairy, curious and excited.
"I'm Marlene! This is Rude! What's your name? So the fairy tale beings are really real? Fairies and things, I mean.. I know you can fly, and you glow and sparkle, really pretty! Can you do magic, too?"
She had probably a million questions to ask but she tried to only ask a few, she didn't want to be overwhelming. She watched the fairy in awe, enchanted by her appearance.

Straight on till Morning | Nothing around her seemed to be giving her any clear answers, but she was thankful that for the second time, she was being somewhat guided. Not all humans were terrible, but there was always an off chance that you might find one. Even the small girl was reasonably sweet, clearly realizing the truth while the larger male seemed at odds with it. Belief was a power thing, and it matter. Though likely, she'd have to prove it. But for now, it seemed as if the tall one was being more agreeable, helping her in seeing the gravity of the world she was in.
Had this been any other time, Tink would have been over the moon with how such a display was possible. Simply by using a board with letters, the giant was capable was bringing up what looked like a global map. Seeing this, she did her best to try and make it out, but there was hardly anything that she'd recognize.
Sectors?.....
As this was apparently one of them, she would see the man return the image back to that of a floating world, causing her to tilt her head slightly before hearing him ask where she was from? With a blank expression, she did her best to try and physically state that she wasn't from here, though clearly, her animated waving of her arm to make that of a way, her attempt to stretch out her arms to make herself appear as a tree, and lastly pointing up to the sky to symbolize a star would do little to translate.
I'm not from here....Neverland....Pixie Hollow....Pixie...Hollow
Pointing towards herself and then encircling her hand to make an O, the fairy would then sigh as she knew that this would get her no where. Peter would understood....her friends would too...
As the young girl seemed to get closer now, she introduced herself and her clear guardian, then asking what her name was. Seeing the excitement on her face, she prepared to try and do the same, yet the child was quick to move onto her questions. With her finger held up as if to speak, the magical being would just blink and them smile as she took the compliment, but knew that she probably wouldn't be able to get a word in at this rate until Marlene was done. Yet in hearing her speak of magic, that quickly gave her an idea.
Nodding her head...she would then rise up and then move swiftly around the young female. As small sparkles rained down upon her, she would then watch as she would start to slowly float, her grin remaining before finally looking back at the digital model and then the keyboard.
From there, she would quickly land upon one of the keys, her feet seeming to jump from one letter to the next. As the search engine would prompt up, she'd continue to almost gracefully dance upon them, spelling out a work as it would appear over her head.
TINKERBELL
Looking over her shoulder, she would then look back at them, pointing towards herself as she realized this as her way of speaking to them. Taking to her dance once more, she would make out another word.
NEVERLAND

Rude was incredibly concerned not only for himself but for Marlene, Tifa would kill him and not to mention Barret would send his gun arm down his throat and pull the trigger if Marlene was hurt by some rogue monster that made it's way into his house. But by the way the so called fairy moved around and how it made Marlene smile and giggle, the bald Turk started to lower his guard. When Marlene introduced the two of them to the fairy he waved at the Fairy and got back to the map that he had made appear in the center of the room. He watched as the fairy tried to talk to them but was not getting anywhere. Trying his best to interpret what she was saying he couldn't, "Crazy... Big.... Roof? You are from the roof? Or a roof that is really big?" He looked to Marlene to see if her child like imagination could figure it out but didn't hold his breath. Stepping back as the fairy moved over to the keys and opened up a pad to type stuff he nodded, "Oh so you know english, well then why didn't you say so?" He let her do whatever she wanted and started to say the word that appeared on the screen. "Tin... Ker... Bell? Tinkerbell? Of course that's your name, it sounds very fairy like." Then she started typing another word and this just made the man more and more confused, "Neverland? Where is that? Is it in the roof?" Without even seeing Marlene start to float, Rude started to think to himself... Was this really a fairy? "I didn't even know fairies existed... Pixie's yes but Fairies..." His glare focused on the small little ball of light, she hadn't attacked yet or done anything to provoke him but weren't fairies just made up creatures to bring joy to children? As a young girl who had heard and read countless fairy tale stories (and enacted a few) Marlene couldn't help but be in awe and instantaneously excited by this appearance of a real live fairy; not only because it was amazing and wonderful but because it meant not all of the stories were just stories. This filled her heart and mind with happiness and hundreds of ideas about things that could be real and true just like this magical person.
She watched Rude, and then the fairy, as the fairy seemed to act out some sort of game of charades, though Marlene couldn't quite understand what the fairy was trying to say. She giggled at Rude's guesses, though it was purely out of amusement, not laughing at him. They sounded so funny. It seemed, though, that her mention of magic had given the small being an idea; because the next thing Marlene knew, the fairy had flown around her and sprinkled glittery light (similar to the glow the fairy contained) all over her. To her surprise and delight, she found herself drifting off the floor into the air. This was fantastic!
She wasn't sure how high she could go, but as she wasn't rising very quickly she was more than happy to float around the room, watching the fairy type and giggling at the feeling of floating around like a balloon might. She somehow figured out how to kind of direct her floating and ended up near Rude's head; her head was near his ear, which made her grin because she might be taller than him at this height.
"Look, Rude! Look what I can do! She put magic on me!"
Sprawling in the air as if lying on the floor, Marlene smiled at the fairy, now known as Tinkerbell, and clapped her hands happily.
"Tinkerbell is a wonderful name! Magical! Is Neverland where you live? Do you have family? Are there more of you??"
It suddenly occurred to the young girl that a lot of questions might be a bit much for Tinkerbell, and so she put her hands over her mouth to silence them, before asking a singular question.
"How did you get here..are you lost?"
She hoped they could maybe help Tinkerbell get back home, but she knew that would probably be up to Rude.

Straight on till Morning | The challenge here was clearly communication, though it helped to have a means of speaking that didn't require words at all. At least, not in the sense that they were vocal. Though the barrage of question did leave the pixie more than a bit overwhelmed. Seeing how the man was less observant of her actions, the young girl's small flight had at least confirmed the idea of magic being involved. Though that only seemed to be the case for Marlene. Rude on the other hand, was inclined to believe that Neverland was on the roof, to which Tinkerbell could only allow the her hand to slide down her face, showing the anguish upon it while jumping upon the key's yet again.
No
While the child seemed to more than enjoy this small trick, she would try her best to understand her as she asked just where it was, even going so far as to wonder how she even managed to get here? In truth, trying to physically display the idea of a portal did seem like a stretch, though she would swirl one hand within a circle and hope that the concept would be clear. She even managed to add some more of her dust, causing the substance to spiral and stir into each speck and mimic the idea of a vortex. Even though it was less golden and more terrifying.
With more questions coming, the fairy was reminded of a similar girl who was just as interested in such a idea of fairies as she was. It felt like ages ago, but her image was planted within her memories. Of course, if she were to be realistic, that child had long since grown up and perhaps had even moved on from believing in what she saw. A harsh truth, and she did her best not to envision it as to keep herself afloat. Such thinking was the death of all fairies, meeting people that didn't believe.
Though she could see the small bit of doubt upon Rude, almost making her feel sick before she nodded quickly to Marlene's other question. Of just thinking on her friends and family, she found herself feeling more than a bit sad. How badly was she worrying them this time?
