"Of all things, you are upset about the jacket?", he chuckled lightly. He knew it wouldn't last much longer. Even with her healing magic Rina could barely stand straight. He himself had taken considerable damage but once more, the pain mattered nothing compared to getting even one step farther. The path to victory had been laid out, now all that remained was taking it with his own two hands. Doing so meant stepping over Rina, but he couldn't back out now.
Again, his cape lit up, becoming like liquid gold, "Rina..." he said before being cut out by her last ditch effort, a combined assault very similar to her first. Like then, a golden cocoon formed to keep him safe, its surface cracking so to indicate the imminent violent burst that once more sent shards that vanished shortly after, and there among the fallout...
... Nothing. Morne had disappeared from within the shell.
"... Please, rest". the voice came from behind, a little to her left side. Sure enough, there he was, two-handing one of his Key Arrows above his head like it were a greatsword. In one swift movement, he brought it down upon her. Not in the way he had been fighting until now, not in the way he battled the heartless, but how he had done when he fought in the keyblade war, when his heart turned to stone with each peer fallen.

With a surprised yell Rina jumped back from Morne, shielding her face from his shrapnel of light, her arms taking most of the damage. Looks like she would get more scars after all. As soon as she could manage Rina summoned her daggers into her hands, blocking his new and forceful attack. It took all her might to keep the man at bay. He meant business this time. Rina would too. Her long range attacks seemed to be doing well, but she was going to try something different this time. As soon as Rina spotted an opening that she could use to her advantage she casted Berserk on herself, a red haze coming over her. Her strength and speed would temporarily be insurmountable. Screaming with rage, Rina hacked and slashed at Morne with no end at sight.
------------ I apologize for the shortness.

Metal clashed with a deafening screech, the impact was so strong that she was sent back some. To think she still had the strength to block a blow like that. Whereas most would have crumbled down like a castle of cards, Rina hanged on time and time again, if only by the skin of her teeth.
But not for much longer.
Seeing Rina cast magic and switch to the offensive, he readied a spell of his own. As she fell upon him, his body was enveloped in a golden radiance, most of his wounds fixed themselves in an instant. But what was , Rina’s slashes were deflected by the aura, letting out a spray of particles with each strike. It’s miraculous protection lasted but a few instants, but that was all Morne needed. Soon she’d learn the consequences of attacking a seasoned warrior with reckless abandon.
With a twirl of his spear, he sent an uppercut at Rina with its butt end, so to launch her into the air, then, with a backwards flip, he called back his bow and channeled his magic to forge yet another arrow of pure light, which he shot through the still airborne Rina (Or at her, should she not be airborne).

Rina grunted in both pain and exertion as the butt of his spear connected with her gut, sending her flying. He was readying his bow to strike her again and she probably wouldn’t be able to survive another heavy hit. She could also feel her berserker magic dwindling down, she could feel herself coming off of that powerful high. She would have to make all of her next moves count. While airborne she healed herself right after Morne’s arrow struck her. It seemed like this is how this battle would be. Heavy hits, but healing hands. Rina knew these battles quite well.
As soon as her feet hit the ground she was at Morne again like a demon from Hell, her daggers slashing at the man, trying to end this match.

A clean hit. But she wasn't done quite yet, as indicated by the green light mending some of her wounds. Morne wondered, what would happen when her berserk magic faded?, he suspected that, at this point, it was the only thing keeping Rina in this match.
But until then, Rina would do everything in her power to make his victory a hard-earned one. So be it, that was exactly what he came here for.
Once more he could have retreated to midair where she couldn't follow and wait for her fire to snuff out by itself, but instead he stood his ground. He did have a point to make after all.
Chanting his prayers, he let Rina come to him, brazenly engaging in direct combat with her. Her fading magic remained still, but she was heavily injured against an opponent that not only was stronger and faster by nature, but also with exceptional skill honed in a thousand battles. He was ready to press his advantage as far as he could. Victory would be his.
And so, calling forth his now five spears, he begun exchanging blows with Rina, trusting his armour to absorb some damage and his greater range to keep her at bay. He knew it was but a matter of time that he came out on top.

While in the midst of blocking blow after blow coming from Morne, Rina felt the last of her super strength fade away. Thinking fast, Rina jumped back from the man, taking on a defensive stance. This was it. Rina was running out of steam and she could tell that Morne was becoming more erratic and forceful with his attacks. They were both looking for an end. Rina decided to throw everything she had at him. She was becoming desperate.
Keeping her distance, but sagging under the weight of exhaustion, Rina held out her hands like she was asking for mercy from Morne. But she wasn’t asking for mercy, she never would. From her outstretched hands she had summoned a large orb of energy, preparing to launch her strongest attack. With her daggers magically charged and flying at super speed at Morne, Rina also sent her lightning strikes flying towards him as well. Hopefully he would be incapacitated soon. Have to end this...
------------------- 1. Blocks Morne's spears. 2. "All or Nothing": Rina clasps her hands like she's praying. When she pulls them apart, there's an orb of Light and Dark energy floating in front of her. She releases it and summons her daggers to pierce the orb, coating them with magic and then strike the enemy. Reserved only for bosses. (Cooldown: 4 posts)
3. Lightning Storm: Rina uses black magic to make lightning strike enemies across the field.

The exchange was brief, as Morne predicted her magic didn't last for long and in the end, Rina started falling on the defensive as he won more and more ground. In the end, she jumped back, her offensive repelled. By this point she was severely running out of options and she knew it, even if she would mend herself time and time again, he would swiftly knock her back down once more to the point she could take no more. "Not much longer...", she could barely stand from the sheer exhaustion now.
She then readied that one attack, which he suspected to be her strongest from having felt it in the flesh. "I can feel it", he said, "Your despair, growing". Fear would soon encroach upon her heart, if it hadn't already. Rina had been running on fumes for a while and with this attack what little was left of her energy would be gone. It was by all means a last ditch effort. Quite the haphazard one, if he had to be honest.
He extended his hand towards her, calling forth his Holy Shroud for one last time, intercepting the lightning that was sent at him, The shield cracked and with Rina charging straight at him, this time she was bound to take the full force of the subsequent burst. Not that that would actually stop her attack, he was counting on at least that much.
As expected, RIna wasn't stopped, crashing against a bracing Morne, who dug in his heels to keep himself from being sent flying by the blow. As a result, he was still pushed several meters, dragging through the floor of the arena towards the barrier at its edge. He had managed to catch the hand holding the dark dagger by her wrist, but he hadn't been so lucky with the other one, which he managed to catch, but not to stop it from being plunged on his chest, right above his heart.
"Oh".
All of his experience told him that was a lethal blow if left unchecked for long, It was not the first time he suffered a wound like that after all... But strangely enough, it didn't hurt nearly as much as it should have. Maybe it was because it was imbued with the element of Light, which he was highly attuned with?, Maybe it simply hadn't hit deep enough?
Whatever the case, he was still in the fight and far from being finished.
Kicking her away from him, he stood there knife, still protruding from his chest "You ought to be proud of yourself. You almost killed me with that. Maybe you actually have and I'm actually in shock, mere moments away from dying", he raised his hand towards the sky, and it glowed ina white radiance "But even if I were, graves have never been too good at keeping me down". He lowered his hand, pointing at Rina.
As if descending from the sun itself, beams of light fell from the sky, bombarding Rina and a good portion of the arena in the process, blasts went off all around, creating a deafening cacophony as the arena itself begun to crumble from the constant hammering of magical pillars. A few seconds passed and it was over as suddenly as it had started.
... Or was it?
From the sky a Key Arrow shortly after, falling like a missile down on Rina, intent on staking her, an even more perilious attack than the rain of light before it, if such a thing was possible. Now it was over.

Rina let the beams of light cascade down on to her. She thought they would burn her because of her affinity with the Darkness, but they only felt like warm bursts of sunlight. Rina dropped to the ground on her knees, basking in the warmth. She closed her eyes for a minute, looking for just one more scrap of energy to keep going. She wasn’t sure she would be able to find it. Rina opened her eyes just in time to see a Key Arrow coming straight towards her. Come on, Rina. You can do this.
Fighting her way back to her feet once again, Rina healed herself right as the arrow struck her in the shoulder. The girl screamed in pain, but managed to stay on her feet. She held out a shaking hand towards Morne and whispered, “Not over…” before casting her spell. Orbs of light and dark swarmed around her before striking her opponent and exploding on contact. This will never be over…
