This was the letter that the ex Turk left on the president of the company's desk. It is the very letter that could easily get her killed. She didn't care. She wanted to make sure that she wasn't walking in to the same corruptness as before. Sure every business casted a large shadow, but what they have done, and that she has helped with, was Unforgivable. After living with the Fair's so long this realization was something that she could not Escape. She had failed once and she wasn't going to do it again, she would rather die.
Cissnei's experience as an orphan which led to a lot of deceiving and pickpocketing helps her easily get through the Shinra headquarters. She knew if she had ran into any of the Turks this Venture would be done before it even began. It would seem the that luck was on her side. Since she was invited to come for what she was guessing was some kind of interview to rejoin the corporation, she already had access to the building. While she was waiting to be seen she had wandered around and ended up finding a prototype from a scientist laying around unguarded. She didn't think anything of it at first until she read the file that was on it, and what it was meant to do. She also saw something about missing people within the planet. Her hand had clenched fist wondering what the intentions of this device was actually meant for. Secrets have been kept from her that she had to figure out completely on her own before, and that wasn't how she wanted to live this time.
She managed to slip the small device in her back pocket along with its manuscript for operation. Someone did come and ask her what she was doing in the labs when she didn't currently have the clearance to be there. She simply responded to them that she was lost. She was looking for the bathroom. The person seem to have fallen for it. Maybe it was the sound of her fake innocent Voice, or her looks, but they simply told her where to go. They were none the wiser that something was already missing from the labs. The girl returned to the waiting room and took the manuscript out hiding it in a magazine so she could read it without any questions. That's when she made the crucial decision. It may be childish, but she knew in order to see shinra's true colors she would have to watch from a distance instead of blindly following orders.
Cissnei got up and ask the secretary for a pen, a piece of paper and an envelope. After the secretary gave an eye roll and looked completely annoyed she complied, giving her the objects that she needed not noticing that Cissnei had snagged a rubber band, and a few paper clips from the desk. Once the redhead sat down she wrote out her letter before grabbing a hold of the rubber band, took a piece of magazine, paper rolled it up in a ball placing it in the center of the rubber band. She pulled the rubber band back has it intertwined with her fingers and shot it at a cup of pencils and pens on the desk of the secretary. The secretary cursed under her breath not realizing that it was the girl in the waiting room who had caused the disturbance. She leaned down to collect the fallen objects and tidy up. That is when Cissnei made her move. She got up quickly and quietly and tiptoed around the desk, and down the hall towards shinra's office.
When she got to the door she knocked on it waiting for a response. When none came, Cissnei pulled out the paper clips, bend them to where she needed them to be, and put them in the lock of the door. The one good part to having to revert back to Old technology was this made breaking and entering a whole lot easier. Once inside the president's office the former Turk simply place the letter on his desk glad to see that he was not in there. If he was it would make this thing a whole lot more Awkward and pointless.
Cissnei exited his office afterwards and went back down the hall. Peeking around the corner she saw that the secretaries back was turned towards her, and it sounded like she was making some personal phone call over the company phone. Cissnei return back to her seat and gathered her things. She then went towards the desk of the secretary and apologized for interrupting, but told her that she would come back on another day when someone was available. The secretary Shrugged off her words rather annoyed that this girl had the audacity to interrupt her phone call, and waved her on. The redhead then started to walk towards the exit to the room. Once she was out she walked briskly to the final exit door. She picked out a motorcycle and hot-wired it to start. Getting on it she took off into what was left of the day. She had no intentions of returning to Shinra anywhere in the near future. She have wondered if the president would even bother playing her game. A twinge of guilt shot through her thinking of Tseng. The two of them had always been fairly close teaming up when possible during missions in the past. She considered him as close to a best friend as anyone could probably get to a Turk. Only one other person truly held that title for her, and he was long gone. Now Tseng was going to have to hunt her down. She decided that if she did come across anything odd, be it object or missing person, she would message Tseng about it still. If he truly thought well of Rufus there was no doubt in her mind that he would show the president her findings. She trusted the Director and would leave him to make his own choice.
Cissnei rode up on the golden saucer. She never really had a true vacation when it came to being a Turk. When she started Living with the fairs the thought of going to a place like this never really crossed her mind. She sighed looking at it. She figured she might as well enjoy what could possibly be her last couple of days. She parked her bike, took off the jacket and tie that she had been wearing so no one could possibly figure out who or what she was, and entered the theme park. Signs for a play got her attention.
" this might be nice. " she said out loud looking at the sign that dwell just underneath the parks map. She found where she needed to go on that very same map. It seemed like something like this would be more her speed rather than all the rides. She was about to go on one wild one in real life so she was looking for something a little bit more slow pace.
Cissnei made her way to the theater. Once she was inside she grab some popcorn and sat down a few rows from the stage. A fairly larger crowd was coming in then the one that just exited. The play had started, something about a knight and a dragon. Pretty much every princess fairytale that ever was. Even though the theme was boring she felt quite relaxed in the atmosphere. That was until she noticed one of the actors.
"Wait..... is that, Veld?! She thought to herself. He was very convincing with putting on an accent, but there was no mistaking his face.
"Well....okay then." She had accepted the performance he was putting on. She found it kind of hard to believe that he just up and decided to become an actor one day. She would have to make sure not to be noticed by the man. Luckily for her, it was a very decent crowd that she could easily blend into, and the lights were completely darkened so seeing the faces of the audience was near impossible.
After the sudden shock Cissnei relax her muscles and sat back in her chair. She started to munch on some of her popcorn when her very next surprise literally made her spit her popcorn out and cover her mouth.
"TSENG! ELENA!" Her mind was screaming. There was no denying it. That was absolutely 100% them. However it was that they ended up on the stage, Tseng didn't look happy about it. Granite to the untrained eye and knowing his personality one might not catch it, however the redheaded former Turk easily did.
She was trying so hard not to bust out laughing. Clearly this was Veld's doing. The former director somehow managed to get the current director into whatever this was. And for cissnei, this was hilarious. She absolutely knew that she couldn't let either of them catch her before it was time. But since they were here it was clear that the director hadn't received any kind of message about an AWOL member. She was about to get up and leave when she heard the narrator mentioned something about a kiss breaking the spell of the two characters that Elena and Tseng were playing. This had her stop directly in her tracks and look up at the stage.
"No way is he going to go through with......" then after much hesitation Tseng did it. He kissed Elena.
"Oh my Goddess....he actually did it!" She cheered in the back of her mind. It took all of her strength to not simply yell out " That's my boy" and "you go girl!" To the two actors upon the stage. Instead she turned on her heels and followed another group of people that were also leaving the performance prematurely. A small smirk graced her lips. There was no way she was going to Let Him Live this down as long as there was breath within her.
Once she reached where her parked motorcycle was, Cissnei, took the directions for the small device out of her pocket. She installed it on the underside between her handlebars that way it was easier to reach. She pushed a button on it and it's synced up with her PHS. Apparently the device could do more than just so-called teleport people to different worlds. It can control her very bike if she so wished and she could do so with her electronic device.
" interesting. well, No more hot wiring this thing. that is a plus." She said as she started up the motorcycle. She revved its engine a few times.
"Let us see if this baby actually works." With that she took off. Once she reach the speed indicated she pushed the button that was on the devices side. There was a flash of color and Light. Everything blurred around her becoming part of the light and color that surrounded her. And just like that, where the former Turk once was, she had vanished.
