The queen stepped through the portal into a rather dank and low lit castle. The queen was unimpressed by the intricate designs of the hallway they had entered. It was obviously meant to be much brighter in here but instead the walls were lined with candles to light the way. The castle had the same dark feel as her own. Though, a bit too oddly decorated. The place seemed to be in tatters and unkempt as she noticed visible scratches in portrates as well as the overturned furnature. Her castle was preferable to this. Obviously he did not have the proper staff to tend to such a disastear. It made her feel a bit better about the condition of her home. But, this was not her concern. This was not her castle. All she wanted was the object she saught. The openness and feel of the castle would make it easier to trek through to locate this magical flower. However, with how dark the castle was, she really doubted the magical ability it had. The pink haired man wasn't that powerful that he could fix her mirror with a half dead flower.
The woman folded her arm, already displeased, facing the portal for the man's arrival. Honestly, she could probably abandon him now. She could collect the flower herself. Then, if it was as powerful as he claimed it to be, she could make a salve from it to fix her mirror.
But that seemed too coarse an action. If things came to that point, she had no qualm abandoning him and handling it herself. But, she was nothing if not a woman of her word. She would allow his assistance on collecting this flower as well as repairing her mirror. In return, she would give him Maleficent's name and take him to meet her. Then her debt would be repaid and they would both be a step closer to what they desired. With the mirror repaired, she could seek out and destroy Snow White once and for all. Be the fairest in the lands once more.
The man finally made his appearance and the queen shook her head. "I was beginning to wonder if you actually planned on joining me." She stated as she began as she took a glance down the hall. The woman was rather suspicious of anyone. Especially a man. Their loyalty wavered at the mere smile from a woman. Maybe their mutual benefit would get them to the completion of their agreement.
Notes: I'm sorry, I really hate openings. >_<

Was this all this woman could do? Rolling his eyes for a moment, he would step past her, eyeing his surroundings with interest. “Thank for waiting.”, he would joke, moving a hand through his hair, stopping in front of a torn wallpaper.
He had read the reports about the beast and what they gathered from the castle. He knew the location the flower should be at, but also that the beast could be close by. If they did run into him, things could get ugly, knowing the creature's anger is something that shouldn't be taken lightly.
He stepped forward, closing his eyes for a brief moment. It didn't take him long to pick up the aura of the magical flower thanks to his powers. It was close... down the hall, somewhere. Sadly he couldn't sense if the beast was there or not, so they had to try and keep low profile as long as possible to avoid getting into trouble with the guards or the master himself.
“Our target is not far. A little walk is in order, I presume.”
With that said, the Assassin would walk down the hall, avoiding any shards of glass on the ground from destroyed frames or anything else that had been smashed in the rage of the Lord.
“Why not take the time we have for now to formally introduce ourselves? You may call me Lauriam. Does her majesty have a name for me, as well?”

The eye roll did nothing to improve her mood, a disapproving frown on her face at his childlike action. He seemed far from mature. Maybe it was his nature or the fact that he did not grow up with much responsibility. It was a disappointment. His mother should be ashamed of the way he had turned out. The sarcastic tones and connotation not assisting the situation either. But, the queen had a mission to complete and she would be sure that it ended in her favor. Whether or not it was beneficial to the man who was now playing with his hair. She kept her own raven hair hidden underneath her form fitting wimple. It kept it out of harms way and away from eyes not worthy enough to see it.
The queen did not know exactly what she was getting herself into. But, it was well worth the risk. She just wanted to mend the mirror. Without him, there really was no way to find her stepchild. The woman who had become far too beautiful to be allowed to live.
From the discheveled nature of the hallway, it was obvious that the creature had steam to blow off. Everything ripped to shreds with the condition of this area, it was just obvious. His strength was still in question however. Right now, it was apparent that he had razor sharp claws. She was pulled back to reality with the man stepping and speaking allowed.
"Good." She replied simply. A short walk did not bother her in the slightest. With the two of them being so close, she could be patient enough to get there. She could wait till they arrived at their destination. The talking, however, was not something she wanted to really do. The man introduced himself as Lauriam. A very feminine and strange name in her opinion. But she was not one to judge someone on their name. Her former husband had named his daughter 'Snow'. That was what she considered ridiculous. But she supposed it was necessary to be semi-social. "Not one that I have gone by in a very long time......" She stated, pausing a moment to decide if she should give her name. It was not like anyone used it. It was always 'my queen' or 'your majesty'. "..... Queen Grimhilde."

This was an alliance for information, not for something as stupid as friendship. They both only worked with each other to reach their goal faster and that was fine with him. He wouldn't have wanted anything else. The only woman he trusted was Larxene and.. who knows what happened to her. Maybe she was revived like him, maybe not.
The lady introduced herself with a name to him, something he had almost not seen coming. She didn't seem like the person to tell others what her true name was.
“Grimhilde..? Charming. I stick with 'her majesty' than. We are just partners for NOW, after all.”, he would say, more focused on the road ahead now. They seemed to be reaching their destination soon... until he found that something was not right. The hallway they were in was filled with armors, two of them standing RIGHT in front of the door, unmoving like every other object. Yet.. even though they didn't move, he could feel.. eyes on him almost. The assassin stopped, looking at the armor close to him with an axe in his hand. And it seemed he looked just in the right moment, the axe suddenly starting to move in rapid speed, aiming at him to slice him in two. His senses never fail him, after all. His hand moved up in the direction of the axe, at first seeming like he tried to block the sharp blade with his hand! There was a flash of darkness and rose petals drifted all around in the air as a scythe formed right in his hand, the staff blocking the incoming weapon without him seeming to get much to push against from the momentum of the big blade.
“Of course he wouldn't leave it unprotected. Wouldn't have expected anything less from the Beast.”, the assassin would say with a smile spreading on his face. The other armors started to move as well, all of them except the two at the door starting to assault them now.
“Well, her majesty. Show me what you can do.”
With that said, Lauriam would jump back from the soldier attacking him, twisting his blade in his hand to get into a proper position to fight. The guard with the axe rushed after him, trying to go for an other slash, but the attack was so predictable, Lauriam easily blocking again with the blade, his free hand moving up to target the helmet. Rose petals showed up once more, only to form into a laser that shot the creatures head right off, the armor seeming to completely lose it, stumbling back, but still moving, only very confused with it's head gone.
It was rather funny to look at how a armor started to search for it's head, leaving Lauriam only with a shaking head.
“Imbeciles...”
A kick to the back was all that was needed now for the soldier to fall to the ground and stop moving for now.

Lauriam and the Queen were in agreement there. There was to be no friendship from this temporary alliance. They both wanted something from the other. Once that exchange was complete, they would go about their lives with minimal if not non-existent contact. Though, if he was allowed in by Maleficent, then they may see each other more than she'd care to. The two simply focused on walking. Her shoes muffled as she kept her pace and walked on the rug. It was rather peaceful till the floral man decided to speak up again about her name.
"That is preferable." She agreed. At least they could agree on that simple fact. There was not much that she would likely agree on seeing he was far more talkative than she. Her focus was listening to their surroundings. Not that she was truly too concerned. The queen walked until she heard the pink haired man stop proceeding to look at one of the suits of armor. Their magic was so faint she did not even realize it until the armor swung it's axe at Lauriam.
The appearance of the pedals caught her eye as a scythe appeared in the man's hands. Also pink, she noted. Of course. She, again, did not seem impressed in the slightest. He noted aloud that he wouldn't have expected it to be unguarded. Well, the beast would have been a fool to have done that. She did not expect it to be easy. Lauriam asked for her show show him what she could do. The queen obliged. "Most certainly...." She agreed as she summoned a small potion to her hands, specifically her Poisoned Apple Potion, throwing them to the ground of the one that decided to attack her from the front. The green cloud of smoke that emerged cause the one to fall immediately to sleep. She did not plan to expend energy is she could help it.
The second armor moved forward, swinging it's blade toward her. The queen raised her hand and the object stopped. "Are you sure this rose is powerful enough? These being don't seem to have much strength...." She stated before using her telekinesis to throw it down the hallway a bit, being sure that she wouldn't hit Lauriam with the tin can. Grimhilde had barely moved from her position. She had no plans to either.
Notes: Puts one guard to sleep with her Poisoned Apple potion. Uses telekinesis to toss the other down the hall.

[attr="class","ltext2"]Is to cling to the ugliness...of ourselves [attr="class","lscroll"] For the first time he could take a look at the woman's skills. He was not really surprised by how she defended herself, though the smell of the substance she had used to get the one guard to sleep was really catching his interest. A witch.. that was actually what he immediately thought when he saw her, seeing how she dressed and how her body was formed. However, she was capable of creating potions? Most potions need knowledge over flowers and herbs to create them, so she must have experience with alchemy. He too was interest in that art, he himself using plants and their attributes to get things done sometimes.
She had no problem taking care of the two guards on her side, Lauriam's eyes now wandering to the two guards at the door, both of them seeming to be rather terrified by the abilities the intruders had. They were scared, but they wouldn't back down so easily for sure, even though they looked like they wanted to start running as soon as possible. One of the guards, a armor with a big sword, finally started to move, running in Lauriam's direction with the weapon ready for a frontal attack.
They made it to easy for him. Seriously. He turned to the guard, giving him a wide smirk, seeming to take aim with his weapon as he moved it back, seemingly ready to go for a slice through the guard. The blade started to glow, the guard understanding he had made a horrible mistake, trying to stop his attack and turning to start running. Sadly, he was far to slow. Lauriam released the energy with a strong swing, the shock wave cutting through the air, hitting the armor and sending him back, directly into the last one and into the door that flung open with a loud crash.
How unfortunate.. the fight was already over? Lauriam couldn't help but sigh, his scythe disappearing again as he stepped through the now open door, seeming to not care that he was stepping on one of the guards as he went into the sleeping-quarters of the beast, taking in the damage the creature had left behind. Was this man still sleeping here? The thought was disgusting Lauriam, somehow... but no time to get caught up into thoughts and ugly pictures in his head. A soft glow close to the window caught his attention, the smirk returning to his face. The beast really had left the rose here... what an idiot. He would now finally answer the queen's question from before as he stepped closer to the beautiful object in this ugly chaos.
“Yes. I am certain.”
His steps led him right to the flower, it's glow illuminating his face, his eyes wandering over the magic object with interest.
“Ah... such a beautiful creation. To think it was locked away in here for who-knows-how-long..”
His hands grabbed the glass that covered it, picking it up and placing it to the side. Immediately, his fingers would reach out, seeming to move along the flower's stem up to the blossom, not touching it however as he seemed to admire it.

The Queen would not appreciate the insinuation that she was a 'witch'. She was simply a spell caster. Even a sorceress would be acceptable. But a witch? No. The woman was very displeased at the fact they had not retrieved the item already. That was her main purpose. That was all she truly wanted at the moment. Maybe she should simply dispatch the remaining guard herself and knock the door at the end of the hall in herself. It would be quicker. However, she truly did not wish to expend that much effort for a simple flower.
Lauriam would be correct, however, in presuming that she knew alchemy. She had read every book that we written in her world about alchemy. She had even written her own log of concoctions that she had made. Her favorite being the ability to transport herself across the worlds. It was what she had given her subject, Hono, to track down and locate Snow white. She had used it to poison Snow White the first time. However, her own alchemy and powers were not strong enough to repair the mirror those key-bearers had cracked. But that was not the focus right now.
The guards were.
Though, it seemed that Lauriam was handling the remaining two when the one incorrectly decided to attack him. The floral enthusiast charged some sort of ability before using it to knock the guard armor back into the other, breaking the door. It was about time. The queen rolled her eyes before moving to follow the man inside the room. The entire room was a complete disaster. Utter chaos. It disgusted the queen as she stepped over the scattered armor on the ground to survey the room. Lauriam moving immediately to the rose near the windows to the balcony.
The man replied to her, saying that he was certain of it's ability before practically fawning over the flower. He carefully removed the glass case and sat it on the ground before floating his hand beside the flower, admiring it. It was simply a red rose. Though, she could sense a bit of magic now with the glass being removed. However, she did not feel it was going to be quite powerful enough.
The queen stopped a bit behind the man, glancing the rose over. "It truly does not matter. All we need is it's power and then it's really of no use." The queen didn't care if they rose was destroyed or not when it was used. As long as her objective was met. "Now let us depart before I have to waste my energy dispatching more of the decor." She replied, a bit sarcastically.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yUIMyE45rY[attr="class","lcontainer"] [attr="class","lgrey"] [attr="class","lsquare1"] [attr="class","lsquare2"] [attr="class","lplate"] [attr="class","lpik"] [attr="class","ltextholder"] [attr="class","ltext1"]To cling to hearts... [attr="class","ltext2"]Is to cling to the ugliness...of ourselves [attr="class","lscroll"] It was a good thing Lauriam did not see how the queen rolled he eyes at him. He was getting impatient himself and provoking behavior would not help his situation one bit. It would only mock him to do something.. drastic to the queen, should a fit of rage take him. His face may be beautiful but hidden under it was something very ugly he would unleash on those that don't know their place.. though he would not admit it openly.
Sighing at the queen's sarcasm he had no choice but to analyze the flower later, his hand finally taking hold of the stem of the flower, carefully pulling it out of the spell that kept it in the air. “Fine...”
However, the moment he held the rose in his hand, he could feel the magic flowing through his veins, sensing that this energy was pretty... what was the word? Seducing.. yes. He felt the need to keep it to himself, though it was just a rose with a little magic on it, nothing really special. And it seemed not only he was infected by this. Lauriam could sense that darkness started to gather, clawing it's way up to this room like it was drawn here. Company.. and it was a lot of them.
“We should get out of here. I'd rather not get involved with such an amount of heartless coming our way.” With that said he would put the flower away, slipping it into his clothes for now before turning to the witch, picking up the pace.
Sadly, they were much faster than he had anticipated. Dark pools formed in front of the door, a group of heartless emerging from the void, their forms well fitting to this world. They looked like the gargoyle-statues coming to live, their yellow eyes targeting him and the queen by his side. The assassin couldn't help but click his tongue, his mood turning rather sour now. “We don't have time for this nonsense...”, he would growl, seemingly not wanting to play the nice guy anymore. Guards were one thing to handle.. but heartless? These creatures annoyed him to no end. Opening a portal was an option, but the heartless could get in the way right when he started to focus on getting one open. A normal teleport could get him out of here, but not the queen. He couldn't leave his informant behind... Other heartless had gathered at the balcony, cutting of their path to either of the exits.
There was an option.. they have been called here by the rose, so most of them should focus on him, not Grimhilde.
“I will distract them.. her majesty should be able to open a door to her world to get us out of here?”
He gave her a short look from the corner of his eye, his weapon reappearing in his hand. Spinning the blade, he would teleport himself into the air behind the balcony, his float-magic picking up immediately, holding him in the air, the gargoyles at the balcony fixing on him. Only the few close to the door should be a problem for the sorceress now.

Lauriam did not seem all too pleased with her statements. Though, she was not wrong. It would be much simpler to leave before any true problems emerged. So, his feelings did not mean all too much to her. The man could suck it up or take his leave. She already had her doubts that this rose would be of much use anyway.
But it seemed that the man decided to listen to reason, even if he added a sigh for emphasis. She would not admit she was wrong in this case. He agreed and picked the flower before things became problematic. Her emerald green eyes moving to the floor as the shadows in the room began to shift and creatures began to emerge. These were nothing like the beings that he plagued her castle in the past. The seemed darker. Normally she would be alright with this. However, in this case, they were hindering her plans.
The beings took the form of the stone gargoyles that liked littered the castle's outside walls. "My thoughts exactly." She agreed. But the beings were far too quick for them. "Hm....quick reaction times..." She commented, completely calm. She was calm. There was no concern on her face at the situation. They were simply pests that needed to be rid of.
The click of the man's tongue amused her, a faint smirk appearing on her face at his displeasure. That's when the man decided to be foolish. He made a comment about creating a portal before teleporting out toward the balcony. The queen sighed and shook her head. "....I would be able if you were here." She half complained. They were too close for her to simply abandon him here. The woman shook her head as she decided to handle the handful of creatures that kept to targeting her.
"How would you all feel harming yourselves, hmmm?" She asked before twisting her hand to have a potion appear in her grap. The woman then tossed it at the closest one. The red smoke infuriating the gargoyle before attacking the closest being to it. The queen took a few steps back to let the gargoyle handle two of it's targets. That left two for her to handle. The queen decided a bit of magic never hurt. The woman lifted her arm towards the ceiling, summoning a bolt of lightning between the two closest to her, hitting them both and stunning them. The queen folded her arms and glanced in the direction of the her accomplice. He didn't seem to be dead yet at least. If he was able to clear the heartless near him, she supposed she could go to his side. But if not, she would wait till he could make his way to her.

Lauriam really hoped that she was able to take care of herself. Till now she had played the unimpressed woman at his side that only told him how displeased she was with everything. He had seen her skills, but those guards were nothing to worry about.. these heartless are a different story. Lauriam knew that taking them out all at once was not hard for someone with his abilities, but he was sure more would come for the rose soon after he had taken care of the horde that was following him.
Lauriam didn't know that Grimhilde was not using portals or any teleportdevice he knew to get from one place to an other. He would take care of these pests and immediately return to the sorceress the moment he has a second to himself again so they could leave this place as quick as possible.
The things I am doing just for a name.. tsk... unbelievable.
The heartless swarmed him like insects, trying to attack him from all sides, but Lauriam wouldn't have taken all the enemies attention on him had he not a plan to get rid of them easily. Moving his hand up, he would focus energy before swinging his hand to the side, releasing the focused power into the air, winds picking up around him, forming a strong storm that turned into a tornado with him in the center, his body unmoving in the middle of the storm. The Gargoyles tat tried to attack him where sucked up and flung through the air, thrown into the castle's walls and onto the ground, smashing most of them with easiness from the power the attack held. Lauriam was amused, but also disappointed by the stupidity of these creatures.
Most creatures were destroyed but to Lauriam's surprise... one got through! He was able to get himself out of the storm and in the center, something Lauriam had not expected, the creature coming in fast, extending it's claws and slashing at him. Growling in irritation, Lauriam moved up his weapon, defending himself. The slash came in fast, both of them seeming to attack each other in lightning speed, before the creature was slit in half by Lauriam's blade, shortly after he had moved past it with the blade cutting through. The storm vanished again, flower petals floating through the air all around him, the Gargoyle vanishing behind him. The scythe returned to the abysss, Lauriam looking to his arm the creature had passed him by. There was a cut of a claw over it, a few drops of blood sliding down. Lauriam narrowed his eyes dangerously when he took in the small wound he had gotten. That creature had hit him...? Yes, It was just a small cut, but it was sending rage up and down his body. No Heartless should dare to touch him... and wounding him? They shouldn't even have reached him!
His attention returned to reality again shortly after he shook his anger off, floating back to the balcony to the queen. “Little Pests. We should take our leave now.. “
Lauriam cast Gale of Severance - Gargoyles are sucked in and destroyed!
One passes through and goes for a direct attack on Lauriam
Lauriam counters and destroy the last one - Got a small wound on his arm from the enemy
Lauriam floats back to the balcony and lands in front of the queen

The Evil Queen could certainly handle herself. The difficult part was when she was in her haggered form in disguise. That made it harder to defend herself and had caused her demise the last time. Nature had decided to be cruel to her as she made her escape from poisoning Snow White. Finally able to get what she wanted. Then forced to flee. Next time, she would be ready. She had gotten better with changing forms. The last time had been the first and she was not prepared. She would never be in that predicament again. Never.
As for the portal, she did not see the necessity in creating something to transport multiple people. She was not usually one to rely on others or assist others. So, why be able to open a portal? It was a waste in her opinion. Though, at this moment, it may have been far more practical. Then again, her way would ensure they were not followed.
The queen allowed the heartless near her to fight one another as Marluxia worked to handle the small swarm that had decided to follow and attempt to assault him. But, she waited patiently for the pink haired man to make his way back to her. She certainly was not planning on meeting him over there.
He finally cleared enough of them to arrive at her side again, floating before stopped by her. The woman nodded in agreement. "Something we can agree one..." She relied as she reached to take his arm and touch her pendant. They then both disappeared, leaving the castle in silence one more.
At least, for the moment.
