Another day at Twilight Town, a world where summer had just arrived, allowing the children to roam about the town. It was from them that Mordred overheard a rumor. A train with no conductor and no driver that arrives at the station and then seems to leave without picking up any passengers. Most of the time, rumors were merely stories, fanciful lies cooked up by children and bored adults. This time, however, Mordred could sense the grain of truth within this one. Since coming here, he sensed a powerful Heart nearby. It wasn't anyone in town or at least, he had taken enough hearts to ascertain that it couldn't be anyone else in town. It felt like it was Heart that lived outside of the world of Twilight Town and yet near it. And this mysterious ghost train was the key. However, as Mordred waited patiently on top of the hill for this train, as still as a statue with only his cloak billowing slowly in the wind, it started to feel like it would never come. Perhaps only certain people could summon it. Mordred adjusted his glasses and sighed. Even Corridoring to this Heart had proven fruitless, this train had to be the answer. At least the Nobody had found some train tracks that could be the answer. They most certainly seemed like they led somewhere off-world. He turned and walked down the hill, deciding to head towards the station. If the train arrived, he would have to be quick about boarding it.
As Mordred weaved his way through the tunnels and alleyways, he moved like a spectre. Townspeople paid him no mind and even those that did immediately diverted their attention away. Mordred's cloak and his red eyes only brought trouble in their minds. However, not everyone ignored Mordred. When he walked into A man blocked his way, a look of pure rage on his face. "Hey! Y-You're the one who killed my friend for information! How dare you! He was a good man!" He shouted at the Nobody, brandishing a small knife. Mordred stared down at him dispassionately. Who was this man talking about? He couldn't be bothered to remember everyone that crossed his path. "Whomever your friend is, he is in a better place. He is one among many who will now enjoy true peace." Mordred said, without a hint of emotion. He then started walking again. He had no time for this man's complaints. The villager snarled in rage and charged at Mordred, his anger too great to be contained. "You... This is for my FRIE-" Before the villager could strike, Mordred swung first, continuing to walk past him. The villager took two more steps and then fell, fading from existence. The Nobody inspected the Heart he had collected before it flashed and disappeared, finding its new home in Eden. "Such a weak Heart cannot sustain Eden. There is still so much work to do before my path ends. He finally found his way to the station and stood in the center of the plaza, looking up at the clock. A magnificent structure which supposedly housed a more magnificent train. That powerful Heart he felt earlier had to be his. It had to be the Catalyst that would activate Eden.

Snow wondered yet through another world, searching for his friends and a way back home after falling through yet another portal. Snow had arrived back into this strange universe after fighting off neoshadows alongside an unknown warrior. He wasn’t quite sure what to make of the warrior that helped me, but the fact that he didn’t try to beat Snow down afterward meant that he wasn’t looking for trouble or trying to get Snow to bite the dust. It was that or maybe the guy was watching him right now, trying to bide his time. Snow didn’t know but he sure he could handle whatever came his way. He faced the end of his world itself, but then, that was alongside his friends. Snow slowed down to a stop. Snow looked down, crossing his arms over his gigantic chest. When was he gonna find his friends? How was he gonna return home? Snow didn’t really have a plan but walking around wherever the wind took him was not good enough, at least, not right now it wasn’t. Snow looked to the left and right of him, countless people walked to and fro to unknown destinations. Anyone of these people could have seen Lightning, or Serah, or Gadot, or Hope…
Snow scratched his head, he wasn’t a tactful man or even a strategist. He didn’t even know where to start. All Snow had was his personality…it was then that it hit him. Snow was charismatic. He knew how to talk to people. He could use that; he could just ask, after all, that all he could do anyway. Snow then went from place to place, storefront to storefront, building to building; he described what each of his friends looked like. People were happy to help and let them know what they had seen that might have been strange or seemed out of place in their town. It didn’t help much but Snow definitely knew more than he did a while back and that was something that gave comfort to the burly blonde. Snow looked around, checking out all that the citizens in the town had described with the last destination being a train station with a clocktower attached to it. It was a great distance from where he was, but Snow had nothing but time. Snow walked through the city streets, taking in the calm ambiance. This town would have been an amazing place for Serah and him to settle down but there was no place like home.
Snow walked up an inclined walkway, seeing the skyscraping clocktower ahead. However, when he brought his eyes back down to street level, he had seen two figures. It seemed like they were having an argument. Snow decided to keep his distance, not sure if he should walk past and intrude. He saw one man with a knife lunge at a hooded man he was conversing with, telling the hooded man that he had killed his friend, but the hooded man…killed him. At least, that was what it looked like. Snow was floored. What was going on? Snow immediately ran out to the location. As he closed in, he caught view of the hooded man who had just committed murder in front of the burly hero. Black hood, black boots, could he have been from his own world? Who did this man think he was, killing someone in broad daylight? Was he insane? Snow stopped in front of him, righteous indignation covered the face of the hero as he stood before the killer. Snow didn’t know who this man was, but Snow knew for a fact that no one had the right to decide who lives or dies, not when it comes to a human being’s life…
“Hey!! So, do you just kill for fun, or did your mom not love you enough?! Don’t know where you’re from but we're taught not to kill anyone, like…at all!”, Snow said, yelling at the hooded man who needlessly took a life.

Mordred sighed and closed his eyes. Another annoyance approached him, a loud one to be specific. "Truly, eloquence is lost on the bull-headed. I suppose you saw what happened and wished to try the same?" Mordred turned to face his would-be assailant. His piercing, scarlet gaze seemed to go right through Snow, his face a mask of cold indifference as always. Mordred then tapped the side of his glasses, pressing a hidden button as statistics and diagnostics appeared in his lens. After a while, he nodded. "Snow Villiers... you seem to have a stronger Heart than that other man did. But I suppose I can humor you." Mordred tapped his glasses again and the symbols and writing on his glasses disappeared as quickly as it appeared. "I do not kill for fun. Even if that was my intention, I could not feel whatever pleasure or thrill could be derived from such an act. However, as it wasn't my intention, I view it as a simple waste of effort. No, his heart is merely a building block for something greater. A promise of true peace. And like all grand goals, sacrifices are necessary.. His cloak billowed from the light breeze as the two faced off in the empty station plaza. The giant clock overhead ticked away.
"Since I've shared that with you, it is only polite that you share something with me. Why are you here, standing before me with that enraged look on your face? Do you intend to stop me? Since you seem so opposed to killing, how do you intend to do that?" Mordred cocked his head. His hood seemed to make his red eyes glow in its shadow. "You don't seem like the diplomatic type to me. For someone who hates others for killing, I'm going to guess that you have a good amount of blood on your hands, all in the name of heroism. Not that I condone your actions, but even you must agree that sacrifices are necessary for the greater good." Mordred took a deep breath and then turned back towards the station, looking up at the clock. "Off with you. You're wasting your time here and I have a train to catch." Mordred, despite his words, figured that the man wouldn't leave and thus, readied himself for the inevitable fight. His Heart may not be strong enough to be the Catalyst, that did not mean he wasn't a threat.

Snow stepped forward in defiance as soon as he had finished speaking, putting his right foot in front of the other, just in case the man before him tried to lunge at him. Snow was always defiant in the face of evil, injustice, and darkness. He was always ready to knuckle up in case someone was needlessly wreaking havoc on innocent people for no reason and that’s something that will never change. Snow would face down the creator of the universe if Snow saw and found out that he, she, or whoever it might be was being unjust, cruel and unfair, and that was something that will never change about Snow. That is an attitude that Snow will proudly exude until the day that he meets his end, be it whether he ends up growing old and dying peacefully in his sleep or when if he happened to be making his last stand against evil and he was about to take his final breath. Snow kept himself loose though; he didn’t know who this man was or why he needlessly killed the man before him when there were definitely other ways to deal with such matters but Snow was facing him now, and he was ready to right the wrong he saw transpire before his eyes.
Snow kept his eyes on the man before him, ignoring his arrogant reply, however when Snow tried to reply, it looked like the man did his research and called him out by his name. Snow narrowed his gaze at the man, wondering how in the world he even knew his name. The man told him he had a strong heart, but that was something Snow knew about himself already, the love of his life told him that all the time. The man went on to explain himself and Snow listened intently. The old Snow would have ignored what he said and apprehended him but he learned not to jump the gun. Snow looked directly into the eyes of the man before him, sneering when he told him that the man that died was just some sacrifice. Snow shook his head in disagreement, having learned that there are ways to achieve goals without throwing away human life or disregarding it. The end will never justify the means, and that’s a lesson that will stick with Snow for as long as he lived until he is dead and gone.
The man called Snow out, wondering how Snow was going to stop him without killing him. He told him to leave because he was wasting his time but Snow was not going anywhere, not until this man was dealt with. Snow knew he had blood on his hands but he has learned full and well that every human life matters. Snow smirked at him, keeping his determined blue eyes dead on the mysterious man before him. Snow popped his knuckles as the man readied himself for a fight. Snow was not a perfect man, he might have to put this man down, but if putting this crazy man down was going to ensure the safety of this town and prevent whatever crazy plan he might be conducting, Snow was all for beating him down. As his trenchcoat blew in the wind, Snow refixed his gloves over his hands and stood his ground
“Yeah, I ain’t perfect, either. I’ve made some mistakes, but through those mistakes…I’ve learned that there is nothing in this universe that is worth more than an innocent human life. So, if you think I’m gonna just step aside and let you go after you just wasted someone right in front of me, then the only one wasting any time around here is you. You could turn yourself in or I can put you through that clocktower up there. Your move, four-eyes…”, Snow said, getting into his battle stance with his hands flashing a faint blue glow then returning to normal, letting Snow know that he can use his ice abilities here with no trouble at all since it wasn’t too hot outside.

Mordred breathed in through his nose and out through his mouth. It was as predicted, not that Mordred had any special clairvoyant abilities. He had just studied Hearts and the ones who bore them to such an extent that even if he could be surprised by Snow's actions, he wouldn't have been. Mordred looked towards Snow again as he glowed blue. So he intended to go all out. Not terribly surprising once again. Mordred would just have to be more prepared for anything this man could throw at him. His power over Kinetic Energy was strong but not absolute. Mordred turned his body and as he did his cloak billowed as Snow's trenchcoat billowed as well. However, the difference was that Mordred's cloak was billowing, albeit subtly, against the wind. This was Mordred's little version of Snow's blue glow. He was never one to really show off.
"Whether you believe me or not, the price of a life is something we can agree on. Mordred began in that cold and indifferent tone of voice. "However, you speak like someone who's never had to make a tough decision in his life. A decision that could affect the lives of countless people. But I suppose such a distinction is lost on one such as you. You see things as Good and Evil... Black and white. You are Good and you perceive me as Evil. Thus, as always, we must fight to the bitter end, even if that means eternity. I, on the other hand, see things as they actually are. Grey vs. Grey. You perceive my action as evil and I suppose you would be correct in a sense, even if my intentions are pure. However, I could say that you fight anyone who disagrees with you, believing them to be evil and you know not the consequences of your actions, the damaging ripples that affect lives even far in the future. I am not questioning your intelligence, though it may seem that way. This is, unfortunately, the way of things. 'Heroes' slaying evil and not realizing the stains of darkness they leave. What their little war has done to countless worlds. I merely seek a True Peace, by any means necessary."
Mordred then closed his eyes and tilted his neck, cracking it. He then tilted it the other way, doing the same. "If you wish to continue moralizing at me, then I'm afraid you are still wasting your time. I'm afraid I don't have the Heart for such matters. If, on the other hand, you wish to follow your Heart's urgings and fight me, then by all means, I will not dissuade you. However, you will find that your wish to 'send me through the clock tower' will not come so easily. Though, you are welcome to try, Mr. Villiers." Mordred kept his stance, merely standing there, staring at Snow with that piercing gaze of his. However, this was merely to catch Snow off-guarded. Whether the icy pugilist knew it or not, Mordred was very aware of the movements of battle and was ready and able to block any attack coming his way.

Snow, knowing all that he had gone through, wanted to wait to hear this man out. He was chomping at the bit to get at him and thrash him and turn him in to whoever handled crimes in this city but Snow couldn’t help but lend an ear. The man was philosophical; Snow gave him that. However, Snow stood his ground, never once letting his heart, soul, and spirit waver in any way, shape, or form. This man was a strange one. Snow still didn’t know how this man even knew his name at all. What’s more was that this man was making things difficult for Snow, too. He was not going to go quietly. The man seemed pretty slim. Snow could just use his brute strength and carry him on out of here. They didn’t have to fight per say, but Snow had a feeling he wasn’t just gonna let him carry him over his shoulders like a whiny little snot-nosed kid. It was then that Snow figured it out. He could trap him. He could trap him and roll him on out of here and to the proper authorities. That could definitely work. Snow let down his fighting stance, standing tall, keeping his eyes on the strange individual before him.
The man before Snow told him that heroes were dogmatic and narrow-minded and that he sought a true peace by any means necessary. The last time Snow heard someone speak like that, they ended up being a lunatic bent on destroying everything. Snow wasn’t quite sure what the man meant by that but, those that seek “True Peace” always ended up causing the most destruction everywhere they went. Snow crossed his arms over his chest, as the man before him dared Snow to try to send him through the clocktower. Snow chuckled, knowing he might have jumped the gun with that little quip he gave the man before him. Snow shook his head; guessing that after all that he had been through, there is still some parts of him that will never change. Snow shrugged and put his hands on his hips, letting a smirk crawl onto his face. He raised an eyebrow at the man.
“Yeah, well, I appreciate the dare. But you see, I’m trying to turn over a new leaf; not trying to jump the gun as much. In as much as I wanted to pummel you for taking that man’s life, I gotta do things the diplomatic way first, so…”, and with a snap of his fingers on his right hand, Snow erected a moving ice cage up from under the man before him, using his Ice Manipulation to do so. Snow then walked forward a little bit with a smile on his face. “Let’s try things the progressive way, huh? If you break out, then I’ll have to put my hands on you, which I would prefer not to, but hey, the ball is in your court, “Little Black Riding Hood”. You say you want “True Peace”, but given how you just wasted that other guy, I think you might mean the other “thing…”.” Snow then waited for a while to see if the man was going to give up now that he has seen that Snow was serious about taking him away for his crimes.
Actions Taken:
1. Snow uses Ice Manipulation to cage Mordred.
Powers Used:
Ice Manipulation: Snow, due to his long time experience as a L’Cie and with the element of ice, he is capable of bending the element of ice to his will. He can use ice however he sees fit if the conditions are right. For instance, if something were to fall on Snow, Snow, with the wave of his hand can erect a pillar of ice to hold it up. Snow is limited only by his imagination when it comes to this power, of course, he can’t use it to set something on fire since ice cannot do that but he can use this manipulative power to do many things. However, if he is in a very hot place where fires are ablaze, he will not be able to use this ability. This ability can only be used in places where Snow can use the moisture in the air, hot and dry places will not bode as well for Snow as would places that are of normal or cool temperatures. (Passive in the right conditions)

Mordred watched as the ice formed into a cage around him. He watched these events in silence and with the same indifferent face. The ice finally completed its formation and Snow, confident that he caught Mordred, explained his ultimatum. Mordred merely shrugged. "I suppose you live up to your name... though as I said, you're wasting your time. I will do what must be done. You, your light, those who fight on the side of the Darkness, no one will stop me." Mordred then turned on his heel and Darkness sprouted up around him, completely enveloping him. After a couple seconds, the darkness melted back into the floor, disappearing entirely and leaving the cage of ice empty. Another Corridor sprang up at Snow's left side and Mordred suddenly dashed out of it.
It took a second to reach Snow and Mordred delivered a roundhouse kick into his gut. Snow might be surprised, as despite Mordred's rather skinny stature, his strikes were dangerously strong. This was because Mordred did not rely on his muscles but the power of the kinetic energy coursing through his body. It made his strikes powerful to the point of being lethal all on their own. He'd keep the leg there, just long enough to deliver a statement. "Do yourself a favor and surrender. I assure you, you will be relieved of your pain." Mordred then pushed with his leg, intending to send Snow flying into the building near the entrance to the Station Plaza. Then, Mordred pointed a finger and a small ball of what looked like pure energy and wind started forming at the tip of his finger. "Personally, I'd rather wait until you have reached your fullest potential. But if you insist on stymieing me, there will be consequences." Mordred then fired his Kinetic Bullet at Snow, hoping to get him right through the heart and end this fight painlessly.
-----------
Corridors of Darkness: Much like his contemporaries, Mordred can utilize the Corridors of Darkness to travel from world to world. While Mordred has more elegant means of dodging attacks, he can use these Corridors to dodge attacks and even escape fights altogether. [Passive if used outside of fights. Cooldown: 3 posts if used in a fight to avoid attacks]
Master of Kinetic Energy: Mordred holds command of the laws of motion and momentum. His expertise has not only given him enormous power, but has augmented his body. His strength, agility and durability is considered superhuman, due to him channeling Kinetic Energy. This allows him to be lethal with just his fists and feet. Due to manipulation of these laws, Mordred is unaffected by the boons of time - both positive and negative, this by extension negates the effects of paralysis or petrification by his increased cellular activity. If targeted by spells that halt or slow the laws of Time, he reduces their effectiveness by one round if their duration is extended beyond one round. If the duration is one round, then Mordred's movement recovers immediately, but he can't use his abilities for one round, due to still getting back to normal. He can also re-orient his own gravity, allowing any surface, such as walls or the ceiling, to become as a floor would to us. Gravity spells affect Mordred normally. [Passive]
Kinetic Bullet: Mordred shoots a bullet of Kinetic Energy at his opponent, dealing medium non-elemental damage that pierces armor. [Cooldown: 3 posts]

Snow was a bit pleased with his handiwork. The fact that the man before him didn’t try to escape right away told Snow that he had given up. Snow didn’t think that things would be that easy. Snow wasn’t sure what was going on. However, he knew that when you receive a blessing, you don’t ask why it was sent. You take the blessing, you say thank you and you move on without another word, even if you feel like you don’t deserve it. Snow supposed the man changed his mind, having seen Snow’s extensive power over the element of ice. Snow has been entuned with the element for quite a long time, ever since receiving his powers as a L’Cie. Over time, during the course of his life, Snow found himself becoming increasingly able to handle the power of ice. He wasn’t sure if “The Sisters” blessed him with this ability or if it was because he had been a L’Cie for so long. Either way, as soon as Snow found out he could manipulate the very element of ice, he used it whenever he could if it was going to give the upper hand in any situation he might have found himself in.
Snow walked forward to roll the hooded man out but then the hooded man disappeared. Snow stopped in his tracks as the man covered himself in darkness and disappeared. Snow shook his head in slight disappointment. Snow knew it was too easy. The man was probably worlds away now, doing who knows what. That puzzled Snow the most though; who’s side was he on if he didn’t fight for Light or Darkness? Snow put his hands on his hips; kicking himself mentally for falling for the cheap move but it was then that he felt a blow to his midsection, it was a pretty solid hit. Snow looked to the side of him to see the hooded man, a look of grimace covered his stubbled face. He didn’t escape, why? The hooded man then told Snow to do himself a favor and give up. The hooded man then used the momentum he had and threw Snow into a building. Snow made contact with the building, making a bit of crater in the building. Snow was almost felt like he was insulted. This man could have left but he thought Snow to be so weak, he decided to stay and fight. At least, that was how it looked to Snow.
“Oh… Ok then…” Snow said to himself, peeling himself from the building. “So that’s how it’s gonna be, huh?!?!”, Snow yelled to his new opponent for battle, using his Here We Go ability, pumping himself up battle.
A bright orange aura covered Snow, bestowing upon him supreme fighting ability. Snow stood tall and began to walk with purpose toward the hooded man. The hooded man tried to fire a projectile at Snow. Snow could move out of the way, but he wanted to show his strength. Snow instead balled his right fist as hard as he could and used his amazing strength to simply, and quite brutishly, bat the projectile away from him, having it hit off into the distance. After that, Snow waved his hand backward to use his Ice Manipulation to conjure a huge ice pillar; this ice pillar then zoomed forward with great force from behind the hooded man to hurt him and, due to momentum, push the hooded man toward Snow. Snow then crouched down and when the man got close, Snow waved his hand upward to use his Ice Manipulation to have a big, huge fist made of ice come up from under the hooded man to bat him into the sky.
Actions Taken:
1. Snow uses Here We Go.
2. Snow uses the Here We go buff to bat the bullet away from him.
3. Snow uses his Ice Manipulation to bring Mordred over and upward toward the sky
Powers Used:
“Here We Go!!”: This is one of Snow’s strongest abilities. Snow will beat his chest with his right fist and yell “Alright!!” to pump himself up and have a bright orange aura emit from his body, from there he will gain plenty of power-ups at once as a result: Bravery(doubles attack power), Faith(doubles magic power), Protect(cuts physical damage by half), Shell(cuts magic damage by half), Veil(resistant to status ailment attacks), and Vigilance(increases the chance of interrupting the opponent's action when attacking, and increases resistance against interruption from the opponent while Snow is doing an action. This means that abilities that would stun or stop or parry Snow's physical or magical attack wouldn't work and Snow will be able to stop physical attacks completely like holding a punch or blocking a blade slash by clapping both hands and blocking magic spells with your palm at the cost of damage.) However, these power-ups can be dispelled by any magic that can purge them, such as Dispel or any spell with the opposite/negative effect on any of the buffs that Snow has cast upon himself, for example, a Deprotect spell can get rid of the Protect spell that is cast upon Snow (3 post duration; 3 post cooldown)

(Some fighting music to pass the time)Hmph... it would seem my predictions remain correct. Mr. Villiers is not to be underestimated. Not only had Snow survived that kick but managed to cast some sort of spell that very clearly buffed him up. Enough to even swipe Mordred's bullet out of the air, no less. This would be a difficult fight, there was no question about that. Even more so since the Nobody had barely reached the potential of his powers yet. However, all was not lost. Even losing a fight could prove to be educational, as long as one survived. If Mordred could learn more about this man's fighting style, he could try to think up a counter to it. So, he would have to deal with this man's futile efforts for the meantime. Suddenly, Mordred saw Snow make a motion and then heard rumbling behind him. He turned his head to find a pillar of ice being formed behind him. It shot at him, suddenly and rammed into Mordred, pinning him to the ice pillar from the sheer speed. Snow might notice that despite what should've been a massive surprise, the expression on Mordred's remained as cold as the magic Snow used. Mordred then noticed, as he was being forced closer to his assailant at great speed, Snow was charging magic into his fist. Whatever it was, Mordred was not sticking around to find out. Using his mastery over kinetic energy, Mordred swung his legs up, flipping backwards to land on the pillar. He then did another backflip and as he did so, a huge fist made of ice burst out of the ground and right through where Mordred had just been. Mordred continued backflipping across the pillar as it smashed itself against the fist, ice shards flying everywhere. When the Nobody ran out of room, he backflipped one last time, rocketing to the air before reorienting himself so he'd land on his feet. As he fell, Mordred gathered energy himself, focusing it into the edge of his hand. He landed and swing in a wide arc, a blade of pure kinetic energy shooting towards Snow. It sliced through the ice fist like butter and continued towards Snow in an effort to see he would be as easy to cut. Mordred knew that wouldn't be enough, though, and used his Telekinesis to catch the giant ice fist as it fell. It was heavy for Mordred, but he spun it around so it was now aimed at Snow. Hopefully, he would be too distracted trying to parry the Kinetic Blade to deal with his own masterwork being used against him. Without hesitation, Mordred shot the fist right at Snow. He then stood there and calmly adjusted his glasses. "Why do you heroes on carrying on this petty fight? This war between Light and Darkness has only brought death and misery to the worlds. That brings imbalance to the two sides and that is why the Heartless exist, feasting on Hearts to sate their endless appetite. If either side only realized how truly damaging this war was..." Mordred then waited, alert for Snow's next move. Sure, he probably could walk towards the station now, but Mordred knew turning his back on his opponent was a sure way to cease existing.

This seemed too easy for the burly hero. Snow felt like he didn’t even have to get up close and personal in the fight, which was his ultimate preference. Snow had to end this quickly, however. They were fighting in the middle of civilization and Snow wouldn’t forgive himself if he wrecked the place trying to take down some blowhard that didn’t know right from wrong. That was the last thing that Snow wanted on his conscious. He has already made too many mistakes in his lifetime. There was a lot of things that Snow did that he wished he could turn back time over. He tried to tell himself time and time again that words were useless when there was no true way for making up for what he had done but then he had realized that he was just running from his mistakes. There was a thin line with that kind of thinking and Snow had crossed many times over. The key to it all was taking responsibility, this was taught to him by a 14 year old boy that had almost lost everything and it was a lesson that Snow did not plan on forgetting any time soon.
As soon as the ice fist went up into the air, Snow looked up to the sky, expecting to see his newfound opponent in the air…but he didn’t. He hadn’t seen at all. With all the commotion that his Ice Powers caused, it bore no fruit. Maybe, this guy wasn’t a pushover after all. Snow ran to the side to get the giant ice fist out of his point of view and to see if he could find the man he had been trading blows with. However, as soon as he found him, a force of energy batted Snow backwards. What was that? Snow tumbled backwards, still feeling the brunt of the attack, even with the blessing of his buff cutting the damage in half. Snow quickly got to his feet; he didn’t want to be caught unawares by any of the man’s tricks. Snow then looked to see the giant ice fist begin to titter. It was then that it began to levitate slowly. Was the guy Snow fighting doing this? Snow shook his head in slight disbelief; this was definitely going to make things harder for the burly hero. What was worse was that this man could wreck the place just trying to fight Snow; what if he tries to tear up the clocktower just to throw it at Snow?
This was not good at all. Snow’s eyes widened the fist came barreling in Snow’s direction. Snow had to think quick, he had to get rid of that fist while making sure he wasn’t doing too much damage to what was around him. He was already failing in that regard; the only way to stop all this was the bring the fight in close. He would have to get rid of the giant fist first. Snow gritted his teeth and used his Ice Manipulation to bring a pillar of ice down upon the fist, causing the fist to implode and causing icy dust, and bits and pieces of ice to fly. Snow decided to use this as a cover and take advantage. As he moved through all the dust, he heard his opponent talking about the war between Light and Darkness. Using the cover, Snow used the cover to dash in close. He then attempted to give a body blow using his left hand and give an Froststrike in the form of a right roundhouse punch.
“You talk too much, you need to focus, man!”
Actions Taken:
1. Snow uses Ice Manipulation to crush the fist.
2. Snow uses the icy dust and the mess made from the ice pillar and ice fist colliding to give a left hook body blow.
3. Snow uses Froststrike in the form of a right roundhouse punch.
Powers Used:
Froststrike: Snow can power his left or right hand with ice magic and simply run in and throw his fist into his enemies, bringing about an ice elemental attack that can deal moderate damage. (2 post cooldown)
This means that abilities that would stun or stop or parry Snow's physical or magical attack wouldn't work and Snow will be able to stop physical attacks completely like holding a punch or blocking a blade slash by clapping both hands and blocking magic spells with your palm at the cost of damage.) However, these power-ups can be dispelled by any magic that can purge them, such as Dispel or any spell with the opposite/negative effect on any of the buffs that Snow has cast upon himself, for example, a Deprotect spell can get rid of the Protect spell that is cast upon Snow (2 posts left; 3 post cooldown)

As Mordred predicted, turning his back and walking away would've had dire consequences. As it was, the dust of ice Snow created obscured his vision pretty well. Mordred was just about to activate his glasses again to see if he could scan for Snow's Heart in the mess when his opponent charged through the dust at him. Mordred reacted just in time for him to at least lessen the damage of the body blow, even if he couldn't block it fully in time. Still, the blow allowed Mordred to realize that this man was incredibly strong as the body blow still hurt. Perhaps his little buff also had something to do with it. Unfortunately, Mordred had no data to compare it to so he couldn't be sure the buff didn't have something to do with the blows being more damaging. In the meantime, Mordred would have to do his best to avoid Snow's attacks. However, Mordred's eyes spied another punch coming in, this time with the power of ice behind. There was another thing that Mordred found out about Snow. It was clear he was not used to fighting Nobodies. Even the lessers of their kind could dodge attacks quite easily. Mordred was no different as he spun around to his right, dodging the blow like a snake. He then grabbed Snow's Froststriking arm by the wrist and gripped it like a vice. Mordred pulled the arm back with him as he got around behind Snow and wrapped his other arm around the l'cie's throat. Snow would find that despite Mordred's skinny build, he had nearly superhuman strength as the arm around Snow's throat tightened like the coils of an anaconda. Mordred also pulled the arm back further and further. He intended to either break or dislocate the arm or choke Snow to death.
"Hmph... it would seem that I'm not the one that needs to focus, Mr. Villiers." Mordred said, his voice unwavering from that calm, indifferent tone. "Honestly, if I could feel what you call "disappointment", that'd be the only feeling worth having right now. You... are disappointing, Mr. Villiers. But I suppose the same could be said to all who call themselves 'heroes'. Charging in, recklessly, deaf to all but your own sense of justice. If only you could comprehend how much you've aided in the destruction of the worlds, maybe then you'd have some inkling as to why I need to do what must be done." Mordred then drove a knee right into Snow's back, intending to bring him to his knees. "The universe is far bigger than you know, Mr. Villiers. And it is dying. The Heartless, mindlessly taking the Hearts of humanoids and of worlds, feeding a hunger that can never be sated. Through them, the worlds face a future of unending Darkness and your little conflict with the Darkness only spurs them on. Soon, there will be nothing but the empty darkness and you and everything you love will be gone. Is that a future you want? If so, then I would be doing a favor in destroying you now. Peace must be obtained by any means necessary. Your only options are staying out of my way or destruction."

Snow found himself having to think awfully quick about what he needed to do and how in order to catch this opponent of his off-balance. This man was a robot, Snow couldn’t tell if he was doing any damage to him or not. Where were the nerve endings on this man? Snow tried not to let it bother him too much but he couldn’t help but wonder who this person was? Snow even wondered if he was even a human being at all, with how strangely indifferent he happened to be. Snow had met some that tried to throw their emotions or tried to act indifferent toward anything and everything that might have crossed their path. Lightning happened to be one of those people until she shaped up and started to actually show that she cared. People that fought to throw away their emotions and feelings did not end up so well; Snow tried to and failed at everything. He grew out of it and he became stronger; far stronger than he was before he tried to throw his emotions away. Snow was not sure if his opponent was using fighter’s mentality and was simply trying to hide his pain, he could just be overthinking.
Snow had succeeded in catching his opponent off guard somewhat. Snow knew that battles are won not only from a physical standpoint but from a mental standpoint as well. He didn’t get all of the body blow that he wanted but he got some of it and that was fine by him. Snow had the stamina to fight the long fight; he had no qualms over chopping down the big tree until it fell. Snow’s stamina and endurance was stronger than his fighting strength and even his strength was pretty up there. He then tried to connect with a Froststrike but that didn’t end well for Snow at all as the opponent strangely slipped behind him and grabbed his Froststrike arm twisted it behind him. His opponent then used his free arm to put Snow in a chokehold. This guy was strong, very strong. Snow grabbed at the arm to try to loosen the vice grip that his opponent had applied but this opponent proved for it to be extremely difficult to do so. This man, this being, then went on to tell Snow that his fight against evil and darkness was all in vain and that peace must be achieved by any means necessary and that the heroes’ conflict with darkness only spurs them on. Snow’s eyes widened in surprise when he took a hard sharp knee to the back, bringing Snow down on one knee, only for his opponent to bring him back up again to tighten his vice grip around Snow’s neck. However, Snow knew, firsthand, that what Mordred said was a complete lie.
“You know…you’re right, my conflict with evil and darkness can hurt others.”, Snow said, all the while struggling to speak with his opponent’s arm around his throat. “But…I have never met…an evil or warrior of darkness that I couldn’t crush!!”, Snow said in defiance as he begun his counterattack.
Snow used his free arm to throw two elbows back into his opponent’s face to daze him and loose his grip. If he got free, Snow then commence to press the attack by using a 540 kick, aiming for Mordred’s face all the same. Snow’s face was to daze his opponent. Those glasses of his seemed to play a factor and if Snow could get rid of them, Snow believed he would stand a better chance of winning. Snow then mist stepped into Mordred and attempted to give a punishing uppercut to Mordred’s chin.

Mordred kept trying to keep the man in the chokehold, trying to end his life right then in there. However, Snow's boasts were soon followed by his elbow, causing Mordred to duck to avoid and eventually forcing him to disengage the chokehold altogether. Mordred didn't have much to get his bearings as Snow followed this up with a 540 kick, intended to separate Mordred's head from the rest of his body. Mordred dodged this by utilizing his kinetic energy mastery. He merely bent backward at the knee until he was completely parallel to the ground, stopping himself from falling completely with his hand. The kick sailed right over him and Mordred pushing himself back upright. However, Snow's next move was something even Mordred couldn't predict. Mordred found himself losing track of Snow temporarily as he mist walked. Mordred managed to see Snow when he reappeared and noticed he was swinging a mean uppercut. Mordred tried to jump backwards, but even he wasn't quick enough to dodge the blow, Snow's fist connecting with his chin, his glasses flying off of his face. Mordred sailed backward, flipping in the air. He caught the ground with his hand and pushed off of it, flipping back to his feet, but dropping to his knees. He leisurely opened the palm of his hand and, as if he could predict it, his glasses fell gently to his hand. He put them back on and stood up, cracking his neck in sheer defiance of the blow. Yes, pain was something he could feel but he would never show it on his face. Mordred stared back at Snow.
"It would seem I can't get through to you. No matter. Soon, even you will see the devastation the Heartless and your bring to the worlds. You will see the universe as I see it. The only true difference is whether it will be too late or not. After observing this fight, you are strong, that I will give you credit for. But strength alone isn't enough. Only the Keyblade can truly vanquish the Heartless permanently, but those who wield them are too tied up in their petty little war to give the Heartless any thought. So no matter how hard you swat them away, they will always return, Mr. Villiers. You might as well say that you will crush the air. Your words are absolutely meaningless and you don't even know it. To defeat them without the Keyblade... one has to undertake alternative methods." Mordred then heard something. The whistle of a train approaching. Could this have been the train he was waiting for? "However, I see now that my rest has temporarily robbed me of being at my full potential. As I said, I have a train to catch and since I cannot convince you with rhetoric or force, I have no reason to continue this. This fight has been... illuminating in many respects, though and I commend you for allowing me to realize my limitations. If we meet again and you continue to foolishly oppose me... well, I will have broken my limitations and you will find I won't be as weak as I am now." Mordred then turned and walked towards the train station, keeping his senses attuned to if Snow plotted to do another attack. "I hope, for your sake, that you take my words to Heart, Mr. Villiers. Your pointless flailing at the darkness will hurt far more than just your opponent should you ignore them and I'd rather not have my purpose be more difficult than it already is."

Snow had to admit it, this guy was pretty good at throwing hands. Snow hadn’t met anyone that could beat him in hand to hand combat, let alone match him in every way, shape, or form. Snow knew that appearances could be deceiving as his opponent was a lot smaller than Snow was and he hit just as hard. Snow learned that lesson from constantly getting hit in the face by Lightning. Snow wasn’t about to fight the sister of the love of his life, Serah. However, Lightning was no pushover. She could hold her own, with or without a blade. This opponent of Snow could end up being a real problem if Snow didn’t end him here and now. Snow could not let this man get away, no matter what. With what he was talking about and with how he flippantly killed someone on, this person could prove to be a real boon for those that served the darkness. Snow had to put an end to him here and now. Snow could summon the Sisters or use the one move that he has never seen anyone rise up from, however, he feared for the town and its citizens. He couldn’t put them at risk.
Snow didn’t feel his opponent’s face connect with his two elbows, which was a little disappointing. Not only that, but the one time Snow tries to be fancy and use a move that he rarely ever uses due to how long it takes to execute and how easy it can be for anyone to avoid, that doesn’t connect, either. Snow just could not touch this man; how could he bend and dodge like this? Was he not human? Snow wasn’t considered human, himself, he was a L’Cie all over again. Was this guy a L’Cie too? He didn’t have the mark as far as Snow could tell. However, which his uppercut connected, Snow felt a wave of relief. He thanked everything that was supernatural in this universe that his attack run wasn’t wasted. Snow smirked, watching his fist connect to the face of his opponent, watching the glasses get knocked off of his face. Snow then watched as his opponent was launched in the air but he was easily able to regain control and even catch his glasses. Snow shook his head in slight disappointment, he just couldn’t tell if he was hurting this guy or not. Snow kept his guard up but with all that his opponent said, all he had was more questions. Heartless? Keyblade? What’s more is that, this man was conceding the fight. Snow let down his guard completely; was he turning himself in? The man assured Snow that he would meet him again and that next time, he wouldn’t be so weak. Snow wouldn’t let it show, but, he couldn’t believe that this man was in a weakened state. The man turned to try to leave, presumably to catch a train but Snow couldn’t let that happen.
“Oh no, I don’t think so.”, Snow yelled, with a wave of his hand, raising a thick ice wall to block the entrance into the train station. “You’re gonna have to teleport outta here if you wanna get away, and I doubt you can accomplish that.”, Snow said confidently, as he got back into his fighting stance.

Mordred stopped in his tracks. Did this man truly wish to die? Were his misguided beliefs truly worth giving his life for? Or was he just that inhumanly stubborn? Mordred turned back to Snow, a breeze kicking up the dust and his cloak. He hadn't the time to entertain this man's foolishness. There was so much to do and so little time to do it in. The Nobody also didn't really believe, possibly due to his own lack of emotional capability, that Snow was really going to just apprehend him. Mordred needed to survive, at least until Eden could be activated. It was paramount that he continued his existence that long. Either way, Snow was determined to get in Mordred's way. How would he deal with this? Perhaps breaking off a piece of his precious wall and destroying with it? Or getting up close and wresting his Heart from his physical body? No, his Heart was strong, but not strong enough. Mordred had a inkling that Snow's Heart could be a potential Catalyst. He couldn't risk destroying him now and giving that opportunity up. So, Mordred, after a moment's silence, raised his hand and snapped his fingers. That very same tongue of darkness, the one allowed Mordred to escape the cage of ice, appeared behind Mordred. "Very well. Until we meet again. Ponder on my words, Mr. Villiers and know that I did warn you."Mordred then turned and walked slowly through the Corridor. There was always another chance to catch the train. However, fights like the one he just had were much rarer. It gave him information he never had before and Snow, for his rather straightforward manner of attack, was a strong opponent. It gave the Nobody a gauge with which to judge future opponents and how far he had to go. It had been quite illuminating. Once the Nobody disappeared in the roiling darkness, the tongue of darkness collapsed, the darkness dissipating. Snow was left alone in the quiet Station plaza. -Mordred has left the thread-
