[attr="class","tgg"] [attr="class","TheGreatGatsby"] 自由自在 to be free; completely unrestrained. If there was anything Ivonne loved from time to time was the chance to pamper her aching muscles with a hot bath. The hot water soothing through the aches and pains, dulling out the sting from the few blisters lingering on her heel after a week away from her home. A few runs, chartered runs through some ruins partnered with a few jobs her own free company leader dragged her to was more than enough to drain the young girl’s energy levels. Though it wasn’t the first time she had to drag herself home half dead from exhaustion, it certainly was the first time she ignored the soft calls of Morpheus in lieu for a nice warm soaked. Her small cottage in mist never felt homey than it did now.
Away from the menace known as human interaction the young blond allowed herself the chance to relax. Soaking her flaxen tresses into the water and watching how each strand seemed to float before it sunk within the rest as she dipped her head into the warm pool before rising back out into the surface. Few times she winced as the waters stung at the few wounds that hadn’t fully healed. One being on her thigh she got when an annoying coeurl managed to catch her unaware. Though that’s still on the mend. She sunk back in once more, soaking in the warmth before she reluctantly had to leave its warm embrace. The chill that followed afterward as air licked through her damped skin had her grabbing for her towel. The chill though was a far cry from the chill back in Ishgard and her being in limsa, within a village KNOWN for being so close to the city it had its own beach. Which if she remembered right was a five minute downhill walk from her small abode.
The air still gets a bit chilly, especially when the small window right above her bath was open. Letting the night draft walk right into the room. She sighed softly, making no move to close it when she left her bath. The towel now curled around her small figure as she made her way towards the door. Damped hair clung to her neck and shoulders, as the young child reached for the handle, twisting it open to walk… well right into her small room.

"Gotta clear my head of anger and greed." Sora stared down at Master Yen Sid's textbook on teleportation, totally, fully, one hundred percent aware of what he was looking at. The trick to it was that all of it was made up nonsense. He didn't know what a "D-2 ratio" was or how to "bend the astral plane" for "complete subversal." Hours ago, when Yen Sid so kindly lent him the book, Sora figured he was receiving some kind of grand favor from the most masterful wizard of his time. What he actually got was a book full of mumbo jumbo that made absolutely no sense. He turned it upside down in his hands, running his fingers along the borders of the book's aged, leather binding. Tiny, whitened cracks ran like spiderwebs up and down the tome's cover. Text from some ancient, foreign language was inscribed on the front, but as Sora turned it over, scrutinizing it closely... Whatever its title was, it looked more like moon runes than actual words."Huh," he muttered, stowing the book on the table in front of him. He didn't really understand any of it. Still, he wasn't gonna tell Yen Sid that. Instead, he folded the book neatly shut and made sure it rested in the center of the absent magician's desk. A number of other musty looking textbooks were scattered around its surface, their text equally illegible to him. "Guess I'm gonna have to wing it."Sora exhaled sharply, extending his left hand toward the room's center. With all of his focus and determination gathered, he closed both eyes and gave in to the magic wriggling within him.Thick, black vines spread across the floor in front of him, slowly amassing into a crosshatched doorway of black magic that rose into the air. It drew to a height just over Sora's head, then spread sideways and came to a rest, its border defined by wriggling wisps of shadow.Sora opened his eyes and let out a victorious whoop. Donald would've been so proud of him!"I knew I didn't need a text book," Sora said, putting his hands on his hips and stepping toward the blackened gate before him. He really didn't know where it was gonna take him, but... well, there was really only one way to figure out if the thing actually worked. Chin up and heart full of boundless bravery, Sora advanced into the dark, guarding himself with a thin aura of light. He stepped free of the dark corridor and emerged in what looked like somebody's bedroom. It was small, relatively simple, without much pomp or circumstance to it. Sora, hands still proudly on his hips, explored the room with his eyes, interested in what he was looking at.
The sound of footsteps approaching from the other side of a doorway stole his attention away before he could get a good look at the place. His gaze flickered to the door and his hands fell to his sides — was he in somebody's house? Like an actual, in use house, where people currently lived?
Sora recoiled preemptively, suddenly looking for some kinda way out. Before he could do anything, a young looking blonde girl walked through the doorway, her hair still wet. A towel clung to her body, supporting evidence of a bath recently taken. Sora raised his hands in his defense, his face suddenly red. A single bead of sweat rolled down the side of his face as his eyes traveled up and down the stranger's body.
"Huh," he managed, a little stumped. He had no idea who he was looking at. Suddenly, he held up a hand in his defense, his face wild with surprise. "Wait! Hang on! I didn't mean, like, y'know...!"There was no way this looked good for him." I wasn't... no, hang on, this isn't what it looks like! I'm not from here!" MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOXOGRPHY 2.0

[attr="class","tgg"] [attr="class","TheGreatGatsby"] 自由自在 to be free; completely unrestrained. Ivy is a very confused child, one second she had in her knowledge fully well she was alone, and that she had made sure to lock her front door clearly shut before she went for a bath. And now… well a male was standing there. Right in her bedroom of all places, while… it took her mind a few more seconds for a small voice in her mind to oh so casually remind her of her current… dressage. Well lack of it, aside from the towel firmly keeping her modesty in place.
Hear that? That’s the sound of her mind finally catching up to her predicament. And another for a miniature version of her within the solace of her mindscape to grab a mini knife and repeatedly stab itself in mortification. She… internally was mortified. Despite the lack of expression marring her well practice indifferent façade. Ironically… it was a match made towards her delicate appearance and the way her face was shaped. She was… in other words a kin to one of those finely carved porcelain dolls people paid a lot of gill to decorate their mantles. Skin as white as alabaster showed on her exposed skin as her flaxen hair merely hung on her shoulders in a damp mess.
Clearly someone who had recently enjoyed a bath… and was… now, suddenly stuck in a scene she normally only heard of from plays. Being walked in by a guy. Of all beings.
Now if only she knew just how to react, emotions was never the girl’s strong point so…she went with the next best thing. She listened to the same voice now screaming at her to obliterate the man who she will now label as a pervert.
“Pervert.” She stated bluntly, her expression never leading off from the poker face she firmly glued on her face before she raised her arm, allowing the manifestation of her darkness to appear within her palm. Just as quick as she summoned it, the black ball of darkness came covering her hand in silence until it stretched up forming the shape of her sword in which her hand expertly gripped its handle with practice ease, dispelling the black miasma revealed the jagged edges of her large cleaver gleaming maliciously as if waiting for another sacrifice to satiate its growing blood lust. This time though, it’s the boy infront of her that’s going to receive her blade’s ire. Without even thinking twice she hurled the blade at the boy without a single thought of concern for the man’s wellbeing.
Let’s hope the boy knows how to duck since clearly…she fully intended to either castrate him with… how ‘low’ of an angle she tossed her blade at. Though castration might…be the least of his problems as the girl’s crimson orbs were already glowing an eerie blood red.

"Gotta clear my head of anger and greed." The silence was deafening. Sora waited in place, his hands still raised as if to proclaim his innocence, while the home's owner stared him down. The bead of sweat beating its way down his cheek plopped free and fell to the floor, dissolving within seconds. He kept his eyes glued to her face, afraid to look anywhere else lest he be labeled as some kinda weirdo. He didn't know how long the silence lasted. In the moment it broke, though, he couldn't help but to wish for it back.Pervert, she said, her voice solid and not at all the hiss he expected to hear.Sora put on his best pair of jazz hands and waved them in front of his face, desperately trying to beat back any such accusation. He wasn't a pervert! He was just... well, apparently, he wasn't very bright. Before he could say anything, the girl lifted her hand, conjuring an amalgam of darkness that grew and festered in her palm until it formed a large, jagged blade.Reflexively, Sora extended his right hand.A rush of light shot down the length of his arm and forged the Kingdom Key in his grip; its long, glittering shaft swam with light as he stepped backward, ready to defend himself against whatever onslaught she threw at him. He wasn't gonna hit her back, especially since he was technically a home invader, but he was gonna keep himself from getting beheaded."Woah," he said, deflecting the cleaver with a swift flick of his wrist. The recoil from the weapon's impact with his key jittered up the length of his arm, rocking his shoulder in its socket. He didn't know who she was, but he did quickly understand that she wasn't someone to be trifled with. "Hang on, this is a mistake!"Sora brandished the Kingdom Key over his chest, gripping it tightly with one hand. The other fell to his side, bordered by vestiges of magical electricity. He was ready to defend himself if it came to it.Looking into her crimson colored eyes, he could only hope it didn't come to that. "I'm not a pervert! I could've been changing too, but I wasn't! I don't even know how I got here," he admitted, quickly moving on from his first point. Admittedly, it wasn't a very good defense.
"Who just walks around like that, anyway!"He paused. That, uh, wasn't a good defense either.
Sora relaxed a little, his grip on the Kingdom Key loosening just slightly. He'd already deflected her cleaver; its edge was now stuck in the wall beside him. Was she really that dangerous? He stole a glance at it, then turned his gaze back to her. Would it be weird if he tried to introduce himself?
The corridor must've taken him to... uh, wherever he was, for a reason. Maybe the girl in front of him was in danger. The cleaver, he figured, could've been for self defense. The darkness he saw was concerning, though, even if he did know a few people who could safely wield a little bit of it. Eventually, he settled on a few questions, as if he were in a perfectly good position to ask them."Where even am I? Who are you? Can you, uh, put some clothes on?"
He didn't figure the redness in his cheeks was gonna go away any time soon, but he couldn't risk averting his eyes. At least, not yet. Still, he softened his expression a little, closing his eyes part way, as if offering up a little bit of compromise. Hopefully, that didn't get him cleaved in two or anything.

[attr="class","tgg"] [attr="class","TheGreatGatsby"] 自由自在 to be free; completely unrestrained. Well, the child blinked. Momentarily foregoing her mini outrage for the moment. It’s not everyday someone succeeds in deflecting her sword. If you take into consideration how her sword is technically a two-handed massive cleaver that didn’t weight a mere feather. And to do it singlehandedly while not ending up literally cut in two. Or… well having a forced sex change. Ivy has no shame admitting without remorse she may have aimed a bit… too low on her throw.
She aimed for his crotched. She really did plan to castrate him for the blasphemy. The rest of his words fell deaf on her ear as her crimson eyes narrowed as the light gathered around him, calling forth a strange weapon she can only describe as a giant key.
A giant key.
She blinked again. A look of disbelief passed by her cold exterior before it was quickly swallowed up as she schooled her expression back into it’s stoic façade. Should she be wary? The key clearly wasn’t just for show. There was more to this… air-headed intruder than meets the eye. If the giant key he’s wielding hasn’t clued her in… Then she had to get her brain checked incase hanging out with her current free company leader really was killing a few of her brain cells from utter stress.
One… two… she pushed back the rest of her chaotic thoughts.
Attempting to clear her thoughts while she pondered on her next move. Sword now fully embedded onto the wall she had just wallpapered yesterday. Check, a few twitches pulsed on the vein on her temple when she noted how her hard work was now moot. Deliberately ignoring the fact it was her unprovoked attack that caused it to be there in the first place. Ignoring yes! She was ignoring that tiny tidbit. Part of her mind racing in to try and explain how the man got there. But the answer really did lie on him. Unless she wanted to let her imagination do the answering for her. Well she didn’t want to know just how creative her imagination was…. She really didn’t in this case.
His next flow rambled commentary only added more to her confusion. Not from here? He clearly didn’t belong in her damn room. Sweet heavens, her jaws clenched unnoticeably, as she took a few tentative steps within those steps she managed to close in the distance between her and her sword, Her arm shooting towards it as her grip soon snaked around the handle. In one quick flow managed to yank her sword free from its prison before positioning it for an attack in a stance that could quickly go switch from offense to defence depending on his next course of actions. Half of her still wanted to skin the bugger alive, but the more reasonable side argued she should listen to whatever explanation he was going to toss her way.
Didn’t help… he actually nicely asked her to get dress…. At that’s probably what’s stopping her from rushing towards with all intent to press the sharp edge of her blade on his throat. Wariness passed through her orbs. “Yes though considering you are standing in someone’s bedroom. Aren’t you already walking in on someone?” Snark, yes snark came in droves as her tone practically oozed sarcasm. Wait…was that? A blush on her cheeks? It faded no sooner it came once the girl forcefully squashed it to nothing. It took all her self-control to merely raise her arm over to the door pointing at it before her blank gaze return to the boy. She said one word. And that word might be something the guy might really want to listen to. “Out.” Unless he expects to watch her rummage around for some quick clothing. Not to mention…clean up the pile of clothing and armor pieces hazardously tossed on the floor in her haste to take a bath.

"Gotta clear my head of anger and greed." Sora didn't flinch when she moved forward to free her weapon from the wall. Instead, his grip tightened on the Kingdom Key's hilt, his knuckles driven white beneath his gloves. It took a lot to keep a level head in situations of stress; if he were being honest, though, part of it was probably the fear coursing through his veins. He didn't want to accidentally catch a glimpse of something he shouldn't have, especially since that would've made him the pervert she thought him to be. A flush of red clung to his cheeks as he waited for her to make a move, desperate for any way out of the awkward situation he'd stumbled into. She was kinda right, though. Not about being a pervert, but the fact that he was kind of preventing her from getting any clothes on by being in the room. Another bead of sweat fell down the side of his face as he slowly crept around her, maneuvering carefully toward the door so that he could escape into her living room and away from certain death."I... uh, sorry!" He didn't dare risk another word until he stepped through the door. What he thought would be a living room turned out to be more of a sitting area, and as Sora stepped into it, he closed the door to her personal quarters with a heavy sigh of relief. That was a much more intense standoff than he expected. Honestly, though, he hadn't expected to wind up in somebody's bedroom. Or anybody's house, really. Making a quick mental note to work on his aim, Sora debated just using another portal to get the heck outta there before his potential murderer walked back out with an even bigger sword. He dismissed the thought pretty quickly.Running from mistakes didn't make them any better. In fact, most of the time, it just made them worse. Plus, he didn't wanna become known as the guy that just broke into people's bedrooms and then teleported away. If anything, that would've just made him look more guilty. His fingers drummed along the Kingdom Key's hilt, absently forging a nervous beat that helped him think a little. What could he possibly tell her about how he'd gotten there?"I'm not a pervert, I promise," he tried. "I didn't know you were gonna be almost naked when I came in."No, no. That didn't quite work.
Taking a seat, he tried to think of something better to say."Hi," he practiced. "My name's Sora. I was trying to learn how to teleport and I still suck at it. I ended up in your room by accident! It could've been anyone's room. Please don't be mad anymore."Grimacing, Sora dismissed the Kingdom Key and rested his chin in his hand. He was pretty sure that there was no good substitute for the truth, even if it seemed a little unlikely. Nervously, the brunette glanced around his new acquaintance's sitting room, taking in the details as best he could. If she didn't kill him, he was probably gonna have to apologize to her somehow. Flowers would've just made him look more like a pervert, and something told him that offering to fight her wouldn't do him much good.Maybe he could help her out in another way.First he was going to have to figure out where the heck he was. Her house reminded him a lot of his own, but there was no way that they were anywhere near the Destiny Islands. He couldn't hear any gulls and the air didn't carry with it the heavy smell of brine. It looked an awful lot like he was gonna have to wait to find out anything useful.
"Aw man, she's gonna kill me."

[attr="class","tgg"] [attr="class","TheGreatGatsby"] 自由自在 to be free; completely unrestrained. Well this certainly was unnerving… the girl mused in slight annoyance, both curiosity and her annoyance actually waging war with her decisions on what to do with the man while she quickly clothed herself in the quickest garb she managed to pull out of her closet. Once she was certain the guy actually left her in peace within her small sanctuary to actually get dress and think of a way to handle this… this walking puzzle.
A walking puzzle in how perplexed she was that he managed to get it. Maybe he was lucky it wasn’t one of the others who he ran into… Then again, this IS her private home. She wasn’t in her chambers within her free company’s stately property. Instead she was in her tiny cottage by the seaside. The scent coming from the salty sea outside didn’t help in calming down the torrent of thoughts assaulting her mind. Glancing back at the door as she placed on the loose poncho like shirt over her frame matching it up with a pair of black jeans she had pulled out seconds after the shirt. Once she was satisfied with her appearance, the girl merely left her hair as it was, only bringing a towel to try it on route as walked out of her bedroom door and into the small sitting area outside her door. It was in a way a small living room she managed to fit into the small house, with the walls lined with numerous books she had collected.
At the corner, right infront of one of the bookcases was her burgundy couch where the man now sat. She wanted to forego courtesy, but dammit… she sighed softly, if the man could parry her sword well that key of his might not be as… useless as she thought as first. Though… the question still was, who on earth would bloody be willing to use a key as a weapon? She shook off the confusing thought before her luminous ruby orb finally settled on the nervous boy. Now that she wasn’t…willing to eviscerate him, the guy did look young. The same age around her with untameable looking spiky brown hair. He was just there, sitting by her couch right next to the lone dark stoned fire place. “Explain….” The young girl finally voiced out a question.
She was at the very least giving him a chance to explain… Though now that she thought of it. She might want to check if her locks were still in place. Or… place one on her closet. This was…by far the only experience she has with people walking out of closets… who does that anyway?!

"Gotta clear my head of anger and greed." When his newest, not-so-bestest buddy walked into the living room, Sora clambered to his feet and almost threw out a salute. Something about the blonde girl before him made her seem downright soldierly. She was definitely more serious than anyone he knew, and likely less tolerant of his usual brand of hijinx, but that only made him feel more nervous about the whole situation. He didn't wanna be mistaken for a burglar. He didn't wanna look like a pervert, either, but that ship had probably sailed. He could only imagine that she thought him some meandering peeping tom, or, maybe, some kinda murder hobo that went from house to house.Still, she did seem a little less intimidating than she did during his wait. Something about the way she penned her hair up in that towel took away some of Sora's fear, telling him that she — like him — was only human. Letting free a huge sigh of relief, Sora relaxed his posture and rubbed at the back of his head while he tried to find a good enough excuse for why he was there in the first place. After what felt like an eternity (but was really only about two seconds), he settled on something else: the truth. There was no reason to lie to the girl, especially when he was pretty much at her mercy, and he knew that telling her a lie would only make things worse. Besides that, it just wasn't in his character to deceive her."Well," he began, looking a little sheepish. "Lemme show you. You might not believe me if I don't."The youth closed his eyes and snapped his fingers. At once, a swirling mass of black light rose from the floorboards to a height of about six feet. Wispy tendrils spread like wriggling tumors around the light's borders, polluting the air around the portal and wrestling with each other. At the portal's base, black smoke rumbled and billowed toward Sora's ankles, markers of the gate's magical power. It looked a little less stable than the first one he made, but he put that down to nervousness. It was probably a lot harder to do anything under pressure, not that he usually felt any.It was funny how he could fight off the end of the world without a worry, but... but performing magic in front of a strange (no longer naked) girl in the middle of her living room felt like too much. Opening his eyes, he put an arm through the portal and reached around for a second. Even though it was less stable than the first one, he managed to find exactly what he was looking for and pulled the same book he'd been reading through the threshold. Its aged cover teemed with darkness as he pulled it free, but it scattered when Sora huffed across its front and patted it clean. A second later, the portal shut with a gentle whoosh, leaving the two of them free of its creepy presence."I was trying to learn how to do something like that, but I... I guess I didn't really have a destination in mind, so when I went through it, poof! I ended up here."Sora paused, a single bead of sweat rolling down the side of his face once again. It was, uh, really hot inside this girl's house. At least, it certainly felt that way while he was being examined so closely. Was she gonna believe him? Or did she figure he had the magical power to summon keys and books? Honestly, that was probably a lot easier to do than teleport across thousands of worlds in the blink of an eye. Then again, he didn't have a very good idea of normalcy; for all he knew, she'd understand him instantly. For all he knew, though, she was just getting ready to kill him with some dignity."I didn't mean to just kinda break in, but the portal took me here," he explained. "Maybe there's something I've gotta do, maybe it wanted me to meet you... I don't know, but, uh..."Oh, man, he wasn't doing himself any favors. He wasn't getting straight to the point. That was definitely part of the problem. Holding his breath, Sora bowed stiffly and closed his eyes."Look, I'm sorry! I really didn't know what I was doing. Let's just start over, okay?" Hesitant, the boy rose and extended his right hand."I'm Sora. I'm not a burglar, I promise!"

[attr="class","tgg"] [attr="class","TheGreatGatsby"] 自由自在 to be free; completely unrestrained. Him thinking of her as a newest ‘best friend’ might be calling pot to kettle here. She didn’t know him, he was a stranger who randomly appeared right in her bed chambers without a lick of warning or her…sensing his presence. That… itself unnerved the girl. A girl who prided herself in her ability to sense people before they could approach her. It wasn’t them per say but their aether. She could sense the flow of magic right out of people. Aether was all around them, it was in every plant and in every living being. Humans… being one of the sentient beings able to wield them… next to a few other pest she wont name.
A few by meaning in the beastmen category. He certainly didn’t look the part of the beastman. He… looked humanoid enough. He was human therefore couldn’t be part of the pest. There it goes again, her mind going right off the topic of the teenager now seated nervously on her couch. What to do…what to do? The thought crossed her mind as she mulled over her choices in how to deal with the boy. None of them…really pleasant if you count one of it being her tossing him into the Rhotano for this clear breach in her privacy.
If there was one thing she holds close to her, was her privacy. The solitude her small home offered was small bit of sanctuary away from the numerous faces she had to minge with on a by daily basis. This was where she goes to recharge her own batteries and for someone to… suddenly infiltrate it? Ivonne was not amuse… no she was not… Crimson orbs paid close attention to the boy as he began to speak, boy… there’s an irony there long laughing from behind the duo. Irony because she’s calling a boy practically the same age range as her. A boy… he didn’t look past sixteen summers. The same as she did. Though she did look a year or two younger than sixteen. He did something…. Something she barely caught from the few quick phrases he uttered.
He said he’ll show her… show her what?---
She got her answer when a dark puddle glowed from the boy’s feet. One of her brow arched upwards in confusion. The same expression that now covered the girl’s normally poker face façade. Darkness… she nearly took a double take. The boy couldn’t… have made an oath did he? He didn’t possess a giant ass sword dark knights were known to wield, yet here he was… dealing with the same element she normally handles on a daily basis!? Just what the hell!? She felt like internally screaming but wisely, if not forcefully slam back her control over her own emotions. Schooling her face back into its neutral façade. She said nothing as she continued to watch just exactly what he was trying to do. Magic indeed….”….You say that as if I don’t know magic exist…” There we go again…. The sarcasm was back. But her tone almost sounded mechanical, it lacked any sort of real feeling within the words except for the straight up quip she managed to toss in there.
“A black mage trying teleportation magicks but botched up?” She tilted her head. Ohhh now here comes the snark the girl’s oh so pleasant personality was going to toss at him. She had more stuck at the edge of her tongue but they were soon forgotten when he pulled out a book. She couldn’t help it, curiosity and her were born twins. Twins that never separated from birth. She felt it stir from the back of her mind, urging her to approach the boy. And she did. She crossed the small distance between them. The floor barely echoed her footsteps as her strides didn’t utter a single sound. Similar to how a ghost normally glided soundlessly into a room but hers… though still held a sort of ethereal elegance within it. Probably from the moon… yes blame the moon.
A small hand reached over to the offered book before she gently took it from his grip, opening it up with the same tender hand as she would any ancient grimoires she skimmed through the lettering…Half she barely understood. It was a mash of languages and ancient tongues she may have gotten some form of fluency over but by damn think of the book being one of those massive encyclopaedias with scientific words written in another language. Then you’ll get why she’s trying to make heads and tails out of the damn thing. “What…language is it?....”
