I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly I'll do what it takes till I touch the sky. One book down, only three more to go! So long as everything stayed going smoothly, this would turn out to be a pretty easy job. Nil just hoped that there wasn't anything more dangerous than giant moths down here...But having read enough books, he know that hope was just waiting to be completely dashed. As the group made their way through the rows and rows of shelves, they eventually managed to come across a staircase...sort of. Stacks of books made up for the lack of stairs, or perhaps the stairs were just covered in books? Whatever the case may be, the trip down was surprisingly smooth despite the wibbling and wobbling of the unsteady surface. At least it was for Nil anyway and his almost cat like grace. Hopefully it would be as easy for everyone else. At the bottom of this precarious pile was the M section, the most likely of candidates to hold one of the books they were searching for. Unless for some reason they organized it by subtitle, in which case what even were the scholars doing with their lives? In the veritable bay of books stood a large and rather imposing looking Gargoyle. The statue in and of itself didn't seem to be an uncommon aesthetic here, but the strange aura it was giving off spoke volumes. Within its stony grasp rested a book, one that the young battlemage would be willing to beat was Mirage Village. "Hm..." Nil stared at statue. Its slate grey eyes betrayed no sign of life within the statue, but you can't judge a book by its cover. "Maybe I'm a little paranoid...But I don't trust that statue..." he said, nodding ahead towards the stone sentinel. "But I bet that's one of the books we need."MADE BY VEL OF GS

They had defeated the giant moth like creature and Elsa felt herself become relieved. She released her ice pillars which melted into small snowflake crystals in the air as if they were never there to begin with. Then she watched in horror as Ysera began to excavate the innards of the moth. She knew that this was a common procedure to do with creatures and even when it came to meal prep, but it still didn’t mean she much liked seeing the act in question. Elsa didn’t show her emotions to this activity though as she felt with her teachings as a queen she needed to keep a brave face and not let every minor event affect her mood. She took a small breath to calm any flaring nerves that might have arisen in the events that surpassed listened well to her colleagues banter. She didn’t have much to add outside of, “Tracking was never a skill I possessed.” No she was a recluse as a child when she would hide from her family due to her unstable powers. Despite learning all the skills she needed to be a proper queen when it came to extracurricular activities, especially ones of the outside nature, she was lacking. The closing of the gates to keep her secret safe from the citizens and outside kingdoms seemed to be haunting the queen already and Elsa felt major regret in her stomach for subjugating her sister to these events. If only she had been stronger she could have been able to control herself back then. The past was the past though and she needed to look forward for Anna’s sake. She followed the other adventures to their next book to collect which would require them to walk upon a pile of books acting like a staircase. The first book pile she stepped on as quite wobbly and it gave her such a surprise that Nil was able to walk so gracefully upon them. Though she had the posture from her training to be queen she decided to take a route she felt that was much safe for her she pushed forward over the gap where the staircase was and created her own staircase made of snow and ice. This would be a lot safer to walk upon her opinion and as she mad her first step onto the staircase the frost that coated it turned into thick ice that would hopefully not melt anytime soon. She gracefully walked down to the bottom to where Nil was and examined the statue with him. While she examined it with him she could feel something off. Was it the book or was it the statue itself? She felt uneasy to say the least and if this statue was indeed living it would certainly be a harder battle than the one they all just finished. “I don’t care for this,” Elsa said plainly. She looked back at her companions and wondered if they should try and pry the book out of the hands of the being. “We could try and see if we can grasp the book from its hands, but I doubt it would be and easy task to do,” Elsa said cautiously. She looked at Nil and asked, “Would you be willing to test this out? I feel out of the four of us you have the most endurance and strength to complete such a task. If you don’t wish to though I would understand completely and we can figure out another method of retrieval.”Nil Ysera Syel the Green Mirage Arena Mod
