Saix, without looking, caught the dice Larxene threw at him between his two fingers. He then rolled it back to Larxene and said, "An unneeded comment and throwing something at a senior Organization member. Congratulations, Larxene you just volunteered yourself for Double Duty in Agrabah. Recon and Keyblader Duty with Xion. I hear the sandstorms are rather nasty right now..." Saix wrote the note down on one of his papers and then looked up. Demyx, the perennial lazy good-for-nothing, was somehow being lazy in a fictional game that existed entirely in his imagination. It would've taken no effort on his part to be productive and yet, somehow, he was going to slack off. Which is why Saix signed him up to assist Larx in her Recon Duty. He found it a suitable punishment for the both of them. He then looked up at Luxord. "Luxord, you're going back to Wonderland. Investigate the Queen of Hearts further for the purposes of turning her into a Heartless. Take Roxas with you for Heartless duty while you're at it. Oh, and don't eat any of the size-changing mushrooms again."Back to the game that Saix continued to only pay half attention to, or at least seemed to. It seemed his instincts paid off. It was common sense, really. Now that he had some idea of where the ambush was, it could be dealt with. However, Zexion also mentioned elephants. This was intriguing. "So... there's an ambush waiting for us and there are also Elephants stampeding towards us. Only a few of us are ready and a couple are refusing to do anything. It's hot in this fetid jungle and the plants threaten to consume us all." It would then become apparently that very intense air started to form around Saix. Could the light of the moon reach even down in the basement? "Very well... there is only one logical course of action. One possible path to victory...
I activate my Werewolf Berserk Form and murder all the animals in the ambush."Rolling the die, he knew that this power gave him a large bonus to attack and damage. Fitting, as he was the Berserker. Even if the die rolled low, he was sure his bonus would be enough to injure the animals threatening to kill them. He decided not to deal with the elephants for now. Larxene giggled a bit to herself at the glare she'd recieved from Lexaus. At least she had gotten a response out of someone. Sometimes Zexion could be far too stiff, like Saix. It was quite amusing sometimes. Others? Not so much. But at this moment, she was enjoying herself and her little digs at the 'higher ups'. The savage nymph leaned up a bit to see if Marly had appeared yet. Sadly, he had not. She pouted a bit before flipped through her character sheet again.
Honestly, this craft was so meanial that a duck could do it. What was she even supposed to do? HELP the organization? Very unlikely. That simply wasn't her style. That is, unless she gained something from it or Marly told her that she needed to. But, this was simply a game. No need to put much effort in it.
The group did stupid things and she could probably really excel had she cared enough to put forth any real effort. She flipped through her sheet again as Zexion spoke before she tossed her dice and spoke. "Well, I'll step into the tree line to my right and cast a protective barrier on myself." She stated with an uncaring shrug. That is, before she spoke up again. "Maybe I might have shared the barrier if I wasn't so rudely skipped again. Especially by the one that's always so OCD about rules and order." She responded before she moved to sit up a bit to check what her roll was. J_45arid1-201-20

Xigbar
Xigbar sat and listened to everyone else interacting, but became enthralled by all the different numbers on his sheet. How was he supposed to play this game if he didn't understand anything he was supposed to do. He had heard Zexion mention something about hearing jungle noises further ahead, and maybe something else about elephants. He wasn't paying enough attention to really know exactly what to do, but hunting elephants sounded fun.
"Right. So, these characters are like extensions of ourselves or something right?"
At that he peeked over to Xaldin's sheet to see what his looked like. It didn't tell him anything new, because it was another sheet with just a bunch of numbers next to skills and stuff.
"This game should really come with an instruction manual."
He then heard Saix mention something about hunting the elephants as well. See, he wasn't the only one who thought that'd be fun? He picked up his weird die again and looked at Zexion.
"I'm going to warp into one of those trees up ahead and shoot an elephant between the eyes."
At that Xigbar cast his die, and by cast his die he meant he had bounced it off the spine of Zexion's book and let it roll as it fell back onto the table.

The ensuing assault on tropical wildlife was shattered by a banging clamor that practically resounded through the austere cyclopean majesty of the throne room. The familiar humming whir of a Dark Corridor closing signaled the stumbling arrival of a small boy scattering paperwork and disk drives with every unsteady step. A translucent disk escaped bashfully frantic attempts to right the disorder and rolled across the pallid marble, its tiny pilgrimage only halted by a collision with one of the table legs. Roxas sheepishly halted it’s reverberating with an absent foot.
“Saix sir I have the…”
The explanation for his errand and lateness halted as the Nobody looked around at the convocation of his hollow kindred. In degrees, each step painfully evident on his soft expressive features, Thirteen remembered what exactly he was late for. Stirred from his starring state, Roxas hurried up to the table, sneaking a small side-long smile to Xion as he sat down beside her. One period of rustling paper later, Roxas produced a wrinkled character sheet that looked like it hadn’t much appreciated it’s trip through the sweltering deserts of Agrabah and frigid void.
“Ok ...elephants…alright…”
Roxas hurriedly scanned his character sheet, blonde brows furrowing in concentration as he silently mouthed the words. The boy murmured “paladin?” without comprehension before blinking blearily through lines upon lines concerning affiliations of light and darkness, and how this metaphysically related to whom he was allowed to chop into bloody pieces with a longsword. Contextual cognition proved daunting as ever for number thirteen, but eventually a ‘hmm’ signaled something had stuck.
“I’ll Detect Evil.”
Ever-earnest blue eyes looked up at Zexion.

"Elephants storm from the front, three in total with Tarzina riding on top of one. She holds a spear in hand. She throws it at Saix but she misses your furry hide. The elephants attempt to trample you but are stopped by your transformed strength." Zexion cleared his throat, flipping a page and directing his attention elsewhere. That werewolf form was on the overpowering side for this encounter. The elephants weren't a challenge with their own strength so Tarzina would be the real opponent.
"Larxene, a snake that was well hidden attempts to coil around your leg then bite you with its venomous fangs. Your protective barrier prevents it from harming you but it won't last long." Her roll of three was laughable low. But sparing himself the chore he kept his tone serious then moved on.
"Xigbar, you don't warp but your climbing skill is good enough anyway. Once at a higher vantage point you aim your arrow and release it. The shot pierces an elephant head but the skull is thick and you're attack has not killed it." Eleven was decent but those elephants were redesigned with toughness in mind. It would take a lot more than one arrow to kill them.
"Roxas. While you are attempting to understand the alignment of the elephants, something from behind catches you by the leg. It is a full grown gorilla that has more than enough strength to hold you and your armor. By the way, your power is clear when it tells you that the elephants are neutrally aligned." Zexion scoffed, it seemed that Roxas was wasting his time with that power. The elephants were already established as part of the enemy force. The mission didn't change even if they were good because that didn't matter in comparison to their ultimate goal.
"Your enemies are here. I would expect that you would all be quick to fell them. What will you do?"
OOC: We are establishing a week long time limit. That seems reasonable for a spoof imo.

"Jerk..." She grumbled under her breath as she looked over the sheets in her hand for something to do. So he'd decided to be a jackass and harm her character. Well, she'd do something now if that was the way he was going to play it. She'd kick all their asses and win this thing herself.
The lucky part was there were a few offensive spells in her arsenal. It took her a few minutes to decide which to use and what she was going to do. "Fine. I am going to let go of the snake and move away before casting Aero II on Tarzania. Maybe we can knock her off the elephant." Maybe getting her killed and ending this torturous game.
That would teach them for treating her like crap. She'd show them. She'd show them all. There was quite a few things that she could do. One of them was getting this mission to end as quickly as possible. They are supposed to 'rescue' these pseudo-princesses. Maybe she'd get lucky and effectively do that, or get the princess killed and the game would end, finally. RMKwWTIV1-201-20

"Your roll is sufficient to shake the snake off your foot but I think you've underestimated your opponent. A bad habit. The creature takes to the air using its bug wings. Buzzing as a giant fusion between reptile and dragonfly, it defies your arrogance with a second strike going right for your neck." He tossed his own die on the table.
"You need to contest this roll or fall victim to its venomous fangs."
