a falling star fell from your heart. The wonders of space travel did not seem to measure to the joy of returning home. Honestly, after explaining just what had happened to the borrowed Gummi ship, Cid was hardly in the mood to really give her a chance to go into details. Though that didn't mean she was going to let him simply lock him off. Thank god for Shera, as she seemed to be the voice of reason in their conversation. How she managed to deal with the old man, she would never know. Of course, it was likely that his charm had a way of glossing over some of his extreme behavior. All that matter was that she was home now, and the journey back to Edge. Nothing seemed to have changed too much from the time in which she left, her hand tracing through her phone as she finally seemed to have a signal once again.
Making a phone call was much easier than it had been trying to play phone tag with messages. Especially as she couldn't say for sure if any of them had gotten through in the time since her departure.
"Barret...trust me...Marlene is safe...I asked Rude if he could look after her while I went looking for Cloud..."
Pulling the phone away from her ear, she felt a sigh escape her lips as the yells from the other line would easily echo into the streets as Tifa prepared to make her turn around the next corner. It was understandable that he'd be upset, but she did trust Rude to make sure that things would be okay and they wouldn't have gone too far.
"Could you not yell into my ear? Rude is a great babysitter...she's perfectly safe with him..I swear....How's Denzel?"
A smile crossed her lips as she heard the update with him helping the older male with his efforts to find a new source of energy. Oil had been the latest find, but with the many other resources now available through the access to different world, it made sense to try and take advantage of it. Then again, perhaps it as more or less a reason for him to keep himself busy. Plus, perhaps having someone around to help would do wonders for him. But she knew he missed Marlene, which was why he wanted to make sure that she was as safe as possible.
"Don't worry....I'm almost to the bar now...I'll let you two talk as soon as I get there..."
It was strange that Marlene hadn't talked to Barret at all, it was a bit weird for them to go so long without talking. She could see a few stranglers already trying to line up at the entrance, leaving her to blink before sliding passed them. It wasn't too odd to have them on the side walk, but a lot of them had been regulars for years now. Still, they would know better than to simply wait for her to open the door.
"Okay guys...You know that we don't open till 4..spread out for a bit...I heard Jenni was giving away some food at her shop.."
With a smile on her face, she made her way through the door, looking around as she could see that everything was still in tact. Nothing had happened, which was a good thing. But before she got comfortable, she began to call up the stairs, looking around to see where the two could be.
"I'm home....Marlene...Rude.....?"
With no one seeming to response, she would finally come to the top floor, a shocked expression coming over her as she saw no one there. Maybe Rude had taken her back to his place? Looking down at her phone, she would prepare to make another call before seeing the open window. Marlene wouldn't leave it like that. Especially with how much she talked to her about safety. Something wasn't right...
Dialing on her phone, she would quickly make her way back downstairs, hoping that Rude would answer. Yet once again, she got no response.
Finally, she got noticed a piece of paper close to the bar, picking it up and reaching over it. It seemed to sparkle with some kind of dust, yet the writing was so small that she could only make out a few words. Marlene and gone.
"Oh my god..."
Tifa was already making her way to the door, panic clear on her face. How could she let this happen!? Marlene was out there by herself! Where could she have gone!? Quickly, she remembered the place in which they had told her to go if she ever got lost. Perhaps she would find her there. Rushing out the door, she would prepare to make her way down the street, stopping short as she heard a familiar noise making it's way in her direction. @cloudywolf Marlene Wallace Tseng

Tseng let out a soft sigh after finally landing in familiar territory. That had been one of the most stressful experiences of his life. Though, he had managed to live. That was good in itself. The question he was now asking himself was if it had really happened or if it was a delusion he'd created after finally losing his mind. He would need to call Elena in the morning. He'd made sure to get her back to her apartment before heading off to the new and improved Seventh Heaven. It was normally closed this time of day to normal customers. However, Reno and Rude were still close with some of Avalanche. They two parties weren't at war anymore and were working on a common goal. So, Tseng didn't mind spending time at the bar. At least he didn't need to worry about Tifa slipping anything in his drink. He'd at least see it coming if something went down. But, Tifa likely would not let it escalate that far.
The Director pushed his hair back out of his face. It really had been a stressful day. One that a simple coffee would not cure. He needed something stronger than that. Normally he did not drink anything that might dull his senses. But, special occassions like now were an exception. He pulled his phone out, noting that he had a few missed calls and text messages. The man went through till he opened the one from Cissnei, a picture of a Keyblade attached.
The Director shook his head. Cissnei was really pushing buttons. If he reported this to the president, he'd probably be frustrated. Both with Cissnei and himself. But, it was more to report back with at least. He doubted that Rufus would believe what he'd seen.
As he approached the bar, his eyes landed on Tifa. She seemed to be in a panic as she exited the bar, leaving the door open as she commented something to herself, running off down the street. "Tifa? What's wrong." He asked as he watched her heading in his direction. The man had no problem assisting her. Especially if he planned to get a drink at some point today.

The young female was already prepared to make a sprint towards what was currently the headquarters of Shinra. Seemed like the best place to start, or at the very least to get some answers to where Rude could have taken Marlene. There was also the letter that had been left behind, still clenched within her grasps as she turned towards the voice that spoke her name. Looking around, she would see the face of someone more than a bit familiar. Had it not been for the events of the previous year, things would have very well been different between the two. But Shinra was hardly the force of danger it had once been, and alliances had been formed with what remained of it's remnants.
But then again, Tseng was a regular of sorts, coming by usually around the latter hours. Though apparently everyone seemed to believe that they were opening early for some reason or another. In hearing him question on just what was going on, the dark haired female would look at him before holding up a note.
"Marlene's gone!....Rude was watching her when I went looking for Cloud, but when I got back...neither one of them were here..and I found this...letter..."
Walking towards him, she would hold a serious expression as the approached him, the note seeming to sparkle as dust of glitter fell from it'surface.
"I can't make heads or tails of it either...its like nothing I've ever seen before..."
As she looked around in attempt at perhaps the chance that Marlene and the bald agent might appear from behind a corner, she closed her eyes as she tried to remain calm.
"Please tell me you know where Rude is? That maybe both of them are at his apartment or..I don't know..I'll even take them being with Rufus at this point..." @cloudywolf Marlene Wallace Tseng

Tifa took a moment to realize he was speaking to her. Though, he seemed to be important enough to stop and speak to. The woman was obviously in a panic and the Director could tell. But, he didn't dare tell her to calm down. It wasn't like she was very hard to understand. Elena talked that fast on a normal basis. He had gotten quite skilled at understanding the gibberish that tended to get the words a little bundled up. Tseng watched her as she explained that Rude was supposed to be watching Marlene. But, there was a letter left.
"May I?" He asked before taking the letter from her. When he opened it, the note seemed to spit out glitter everywhere. The Turk pulled a face at the response to it. The last thing he wanted was to get glitter on his suit. That stuff ended up everywhere. But, the words were quite small and he truly had trouble reading it as he looked closer.
Tifa continued on asking where Rude was and Tseng shook his head. "I couldn't tell you what day it is let alone where Rude is. I haven't really been in town." The Director checked his phone to see if he had any messages from Rude. He shook his head again. The phone call going right to voicemail. That wasn't normal. Though, the comment about Marlene being with Rufus was slightly amusing. Honestly, that was probably one of the safest places to be on Gaia next to being surrounded by Avalanche. "Relax, Tifa. Rude wouldn't let any harm come to Marlene. He'd probably put forth more effort than he would protecting Rufus." The Director commented rather matter-of-factually. They all knew that Rude had a huge crush on Tifa. It was honestly pretty obvious to everyone. But, he masked it well by fussing over Marlene.
"He's not answering his cell or office line." The Director had no idea where to even start looking. Except maybe at Reno's. But, the chance was low. If Rude was off, that meant that Reno was on guard duty.

a falling star fell from your heart. As Tifa handed over the note, she waited to see what the Director of the Turks could make of it. In truth, she had more confidence in his understanding of certain things than her own. Considering his line of work, he could have very well seen just about any kind of language that existed on this planet. Then again, someone using this much glitter as a means of communication, it was likely that the message was either from a child or something else. Either way, she feared just what could have happened while she was away. In the end, guilt was more than a factor that was starting to build, especially as Barrett had trusted her, trusted Cloud, to take care of Marlene.
She was supposed to be responsible....for both her and Denzel. Yet she couldn't even keep track of her for a few days of being away. As the older male seemed to mention how he couldn't very well tell her where Rude was, or even the day for that matter. With her brow raised, Tifa held her tongue on this one, decided that the focus should be more on finding out exactly what happened. In hearing Tseng tell her to relax, the female would frown as she looked at him, her body straightening as she narrowed her eyes.
"Tseng...don't tell me to relax..I am relaxed..."
Knocking the back of her fist against a nearby lamp post, it seemed as if her strength had gotten the better of her, causing the pole to fall over, shattering the light at the top as she looked on and saw some of the people nearby stare in shock and some fear.
"See? Relaxed.....But I am considering what I plan to do to Rude if Marlene isn't safe..."
Granted, she did believe that Rude wouldn't let anything happen to the girl, she still wasn't happy with the way this situation was going. As Tseng seemed to try and reach Rude, Tifa would once again attempt at looking at her messages once again. Staring at her phone she would quickly punch in a few numbers, placing the device against her ear as she waited. With a few dial tones, she finally got the answering machine, speaking calmly into it.
"Marlene..Its Tifa....I need you to call me as soon as you get this...I mean right when you get this...I need to know where you are...I'm going to the place in Edge where I told you to go whenever you got lost....if you can't call me..meet me there like Me and Cloud told you okay? I'll see you soon..."
That was more than just than just a statement as she had every intention of seeing the girl and getting her back. Tseng wasn't having any better luck on his head, causing her to place the phone back into her vest pocket, her eyes relaxed while starting to make her way down the street.
"Okay then..I'm going to check over by the Midgar memorial....its the place we asked Marlene and Denzel to go if they ever got lost or in trouble.....She has to be there.."
Looking over her shoulder, she then nodded her head in the same direction.
"Might as well come along..I'm not open till 4 anyway..." @cloudywolf Marlene Wallace Tseng

Things were finally coming together, at least for a little bit. Cloud had finally reached home and he had found Marlene. After so much time as passed, Cloud was finally in a place that he called home. Although, the fact that Marlene was able to transverse and travel between worlds disturbed Cloud to no end. How was Marlene able to go between worlds? Was she special somehow or did this just happen to any random person that came across a portal of darkness or whatever it might have been that help Cloud travel between worlds? Cloud rode through the streets on Fenrir while Marlene sat on the bike behind him, holding tight to him as he sped through Edge. Cloud had hoped to hurry back home in time to see anyone of familiarity. From there, Cloud would know that Marlene was safe and then Cloud could move on to find out how in the world he was going to keep Marlene and the others out of the conflict that Sora had been waging against the Heartless, the Nobodies, and the darkness. Cloud didn’t want this world in the fight. He didn’t want his friends in the fight either.
If Cloud could help it, he would take his friends and just cut this world off from the conflict and leave so that this world and his friends would never have to fight. It wasn’t meant to be, though. If they didn’t fight, who would? Cloud and his friends were blessed with the ability to defend those who can’t defend themselves. The city of Edge was looking better, from what Cloud could remember. When Cloud was whisked away to fight for Cosmos and after, thrusted into the fight alongside Sora against the Heartless and the Nobodies, only to end up helping Materia and Spiritus get rid of Shinryu, Edge was just getting started. It was on its way to something greater and, most of all, cleaner, than Midgar. Cloud bet that this was something that everyone in the city of Edge could appreciate. Cloud decided to make his way to 7th Heaven, Tifa’s bar, which doubled as Cloud’s old home. As Cloud looked around him, he began to realize just how long he had been away. He really didn’t notice it until now; he had been busy fighting and killing. All he has done was fight; Cloud probably wouldn’t know peace if it came and backhanded him in the face, maybe that was why he was so quick to find his friends and go home and put his sword away, and Cloud knows that what pains him the most is that he might not ever be able to.
Cloud saw 7th Heaven in the distance with some people outside, but two of them stuck out incredibly. The pair was a woman and a man, both had long black hair. One of them was in a suit, the other in what looked like mostly black leather, however as Cloud grew closer, their identities became clearer and clearer. The man was known as Tseng, the field leader of the Turks. Cloud hadn’t seen himself since the Battle of Edge and that was only when he was passing by him when he was chasing Kadaj. The woman was someone that was extremely important to Cloud. She held a place in his heart that no one else would hold. It was Tifa Lockhart. This was a woman that didn’t pull punches, whether it was in the heat of battle or when she was telling Cloud about himself. She always told him what he needed to hear and not what he wanted to hear and that, along with everything that she has done with and for Cloud, was what made her special to Cloud. Cloud slowed down, meeting the two familiar faces at a stop. Cloud picked Marlene up from the motorcycle and set her down on the ground. Cloud held her hand and walked over to Tseng and Tifa. Cloud knew how he left Tifa, he knew how he left everyone when he fought Sephiroth; he wasn’t sure what to say…
“…Uh…hey, I’m back. Sorry for leaving…? I found Marlene, and she's ok.”

She had loved the ride on Fenrir. It didn't matter how she was feeling before, any time that she got to ride Fenrir made her happy. Hey, he was a great bike, okay? She was sure Cloud got the same feeling, because he pretty much went nowhere without the motorcycle. The sounds, the wind in your face, just made things seem right, and any worries seem distant. She guessed that Cloud probably needed that. She didn't know everything that bothered him, but she knew Sephiroth and other meanies like him seemed to be a problem.
As they climbed off the bike, (well, Cloud climbed off, she had his help) she realized that she hadn't been home in quite a while. Even when she briefly returned after Rude got called away right after they discovered a fairy named Tink. Marlene hadn't thought to tell anyone about Tink; afterwards they had somehow been separated, and Marlene had discovered that nobody was home and had left, wandering to find her family. Then Cloud had found her, and they had hoped someone would be home. And it seemed their hopes were realized, since it was clear people were home; but who?
She followed closely behind Cloud, peeking around him to see..
”TIFA!!!"
She darted through the doorway and ran to Tifa, arms wide for the biggest hugs ever.
”You're home!!! We hoped you would be. My wish came true!!" @tifa ; Tseng ; @cloudywolf

It really was a surprise that Tseng did not recognize that language at all. The Director was fluent in two languages and he was able to recognize the others to be able to find a translator. He had been in situations before that required him to learn that talent rather quickly. Maybe it was a code of some sort? That was a true possibility. One that he may need to explore if his Turk was in danger. Tseng took his phone and was sure to take a picture of it before sending it back to someone to analyze it. The computers might be helpful if this was their only clue. Yet, if it was of another world... they were back to square one.
The man's eyes flickered up to Tifa briefly when she addressed that fact he'd told her to calm down. This earned the poor lamp post a death sentence as it collapsed. They were lucky it was only a light to brighten the street. Tseng let out a defeated sigh at her outburst. The woman could be hotheaded when the orphans were involved. "It is harder to think rationally when you aren't calm, Miss Lockhart...But I am sure that if Marlene is with Rude, she is safe. He is more attached to those children then he should be."
Tseng handed the letter back to Tifa as she started off toward the memorial. She could be quite frustrating like the rest of Avalanche could be. But, if Rude was involved, he needed to be here. They didn't need any other turks getting whisked off to other worlds unintentinally. He was a little worried, even if Rude could fend for himself.
Thankfully, Tifa's worry could be put to rest when his eyes landed on Cloud with little Marlene in tow. His eyes traced the nearby area in search of Rude, but to no avail. The Director let Tifa tend to Marlene and Cloud before Tseng spoke up. "Did you find Rude as well?" He asked once the group settled.

a falling star fell from your heart. While Tifa knew that Tseng was right, she was finding it more and more difficult to be calm when she didn't know just what had happened. All she had was a letter written in a language that she didn't know and the belief that Rude would take care of Marlene. She knew that he would, he trusted the man that much with Marlene's safety. It was just not like either of them not to respond to any of her calls. Granted, she had hoped that her trip would take only a few days, but venturing into different worlds in search of Cloud had gone a bit more off-course than she had realized. She still didn't know how she'd manage to explain half of it to Cid when she got the chance.<p>
Right now, she needed to get to Midgar Memorial. Though in preparing to make the first steps, she found herself coming short as a motor bike seemed to swerve around the corner. Recognizing the blonde and spiky hair of her life long friend, she paused, staring blankly as she looked at his movement, watching him closely. In lifting what looked to be baggage from behind him, the object began to move as it soon rapidly moved in her direction, calling her name. Instantly, Tifa would reach out and take hold of the child, holding her close as she closed her eyes.
"Marlene! Oh my god Marlene!"
A smile came over her face as she held her, looking at her to make sure she was okay, then turning towards Cloud as he stated his return and that he had brought Marlene back home. Staying knelt down, Tifa would shake her head as a smile came on her face. She was upset, that in the end, it came down to her basically waiting for him to come back home. In the end, he had and had even brought back Marlene as well. She had done so much, and likely for no reason. But she was so happy to see both of them, she managed to get passed her anger. At least for now.
"Yea...you did..."
Rubbing the girl's head, she would then rise up as she looked at him with her still warm smile, placing her hand on her hip as she released a breath.
"But I guess..this time...all is forgiven...Just...work on making a call now and then..I doubt Cid will let me use one of his ships anymore to go looking for you...again"
While Tseng had been more than patient, he seemed to come to the other matter at hand, which was the location of Rude. Finally realizing the missing piece in all this, the dark haired female would look down at Marlene, leaning down as she began to speak.
"Thats a good question? Marlene..Rude was watching you..what happened?" @cloudywolf Marlene Wallace Tseng

A smile snuck up upon Cloud’s face as Marlene ran into Tifa’s arms. His family was coming back together piece by piece and Cloud would have no other way. There were a couple of stragglers, though. Aerith, who was now alive, alongside Cid and Yuffie were still helping Radiant Garden get back on their feet. They still needed to be brought back home. That was something that Cloud would do his absolute best to do. It was time for all of them to hang up their weapons and head home. Sora was the key to everything so he should be able to handle everything. Cloud had no roots there. He hadn’t settled there like Squall had, he hadn’t made the fight his mission like Squall had so there was no need for him to stay there. Cloud only helped them because he was in the neighborhood and because it was the right thing to do. If Cosmos hadn’t dropped him in this universe, he wouldn’t have ever known about this war between the light and the darkness…but then that begs the question in Cloud’s mind: Wouldn’t he still have known about it if Cosmos sent him straight home in light of him having been able to go back to the Planet? It was then that he realized that just because he hadn’t planted himself into helping Radiant Garden, that didn’t mean that Yuffie, Cid, and Aerith hadn’t because they had. How could Cloud convince them to come home?
Tifa’s chocolate brown eyes snapped Cloud out of his thoughts. Was Cloud in trouble? He would be surprised if he wasn’t. He suddenly had the urge to call Marlene over to him to protect him against his best friend. But then a smile crept up upon her face too…did she just forgive Cloud? Cloud took his black gloves off as Tifa affirmed that he did bring Marlene back. Cloud stepped forward slowly, guessing that he was off the hook. Cloud was new to the whole ‘keeping in touch’ thing. He had opened himself up to the notion after having gone through what he had with Kadaj and his brothers but he was still learning. He was out looking for any piece of his family but he didn’t realize that he could have called. Cloud didn’t think his phone would work in Sora’s universe but then again, he didn’t bother to check; Cloud always had to do everything the hard way. Cloud exhaled when she said that all is forgiven. Cloud placed a gentle hand upon Tifa’s shoulder, rubbing them gently, making sure she saw his warm smile.
“I’ll do better next time. In fact, there won’t have to be a next time sooner rather than later if everything goes well.”, He looked up to Tseng, after Tseng had snapped everyone back to reality. “I didn’t see Rude anywhere when I found Marlene, we gotta talk about that…and about a lot of other things that have been happening… I think it’d be best if we go inside the bar to discuss it.”, Cloud said having gently taken his hands off of Tifa and headed to the door to 7th Heaven bar and opened it, trying to get everyone inside.

She listened to all of them, noting Tseng was here too, and she anxiously bounced a little on her toes as she waited to speak, and in her impatience to do so she tugged on Tifa's and Cloud's clothes to get their attention, her eyes round as she realized what they were talking about.
”Hey, listen!! Mr. Rude and I met a fairy! Her name was Tinkerbell and she didn't know where she was. We tried to communicate, and she sprinkled sparkly stuff on me and I floated! She was telling us where she was from and we were trying to tell her where we are and stuff but I'm not sure the conversation was really all that understandable. And then Mr. Rude got a phone call and had to leave.. I came home to find nobody here, so I guess Tinkerbell left a note saying we had been here? I'm not really sure, she writes very small. And then I ended up at the fountain, Cloud found me."
She took a breath, feeling as if she hasn't breathed once while telling them everything in what seemed like seconds, though it had probably been minutes. She hoped they understood what she had said. Rude hadn't just let her, she guessed he had assumed someone would be home when she got there. @tifa ; Tseng ; @cloudywolf

Tseng stayed well out of the well of the family reunion that was taking place in front of him. He knew better than to get involved in that conversation. It did not concern him as the group spoke and Tifa fussed over the little girl. To be honest, he understood the concern. He had been worried about his turks before and it always was a relief to see them safe and sound and not too worse for wear. His eyes watched as he stood back and let them catch up.
Thankfully, Tifa asked his question again. Rude was Tseng's concern at the moment. The bald man would not have willingly left Marlene's side. Or, if he did, something serious had to have happened. That was the concerning part. Tseng had not heard anything.
Cloud interjected stating that he'd only found Marlene, that Rude was nowhere to be seen. Marlene confirmed that she'd been with the Turk, but he'd gotten a phone call and had to leave her. "...hm..." Tseng pulled a face at that statement. What could have been that urgent that he left Marlene to walk the rest of the way home on her own? That didn't seem like the Turk at all. It certainly threw Tseng off a bit. If it was something urgent, the Director would have at least had some sort of alert... He would need to check on Rufus after he had time to speak with Tifa and Cloud.
He nodded at Cloud's offer to go inside the bar and discuss everything. "...That would be appreciated.. " He had a lot on his mind at the moment. Maybe Cloud or Tifa would have any knowledge of these other worlds. Maybe even something on these keyblades that Cissnei had mentioned in her text message. He checked his phs again and shook his head a bit. This was insane. Ironically, he wasn't even thrown off by the fact Marlene had made friends with a fairy.

a falling star fell from your heart. In seeing the smile from Cloud, Tifa would manage to make hers almost just as bright. If that was possible. Especially at the idea that perhaps this might be the last time he'd have to go out like he did. In the end, it was almost like a promise, though she had feeling that perhaps it was one that even he wouldn't be able to keep. Tseng being here wasn't just a coincidence. Yet as the blonde male stated how he hadn't seen Rude with Marlene when he had picked, that still begged the question of what could have happened to him. Cupping her hand beneath her chin, she soon felt the tugs against her skirt, leading her to look down and see exasperated girl as her attempts to get their attention had finally succeeded.
In hearing just what had happened, the dark haired female would once again retrieve the letter from her pocket, looking over it as she then looked back towards Marlene with a blank expression. Fairies....In truth, it wasn't the strangest thing in the world that she'd seen. Even she had no choice to believe the child, handing the letter off to Cloud so that he could see it for himself. At the very least, the creature had been kind enough to leave a note. Still, she wanted to scold the girl for wandering without an adult, but she had been with one. One that had to leave because of some urgent call. Clearly, something was happening, but no one had the full details just yet.
"Well...I mean..she did leave a note...guess thats some responsible fairy..."
At Cloud suggestion that they continue this discussion outside, Tifa would nod her head in agreement, gently ushering Marlene into the bar as well as she made her way towards the counter as she looked over at Tseng.
"Okay...so Rude gets a strange phone call, a fairy manages to get lost in our world...and the heartless are back...Anyone else feel like we might be dealing with something a lot bigger than just a missing person?" @cloudywolf Marlene Wallace Tseng

Marlene went with Tifa, climbing up on a stool at the counter and reaching for a cup and pulling a bottle out of a mini-fridge that was set up for the kids should they be left to babysit 7th Heaven for a bit. She poured herself a glass, drinking before exhaling a contented sigh and setting the glass downb and looking at the adults. She knew that it was unlike Rude to just leave, but she understood there were situations that called for inexplicable responses, including leaving in a hurry. She'd seen it before with other people, though Rude wasn't normally one to do that. She pondered this, listening to Tifa and Tseng talk, noting that Cloud had headed upstairs, probably to pass out; he had seemed overly tired. She looked back to Tifa and Tseng, playing with the little fairy note Tifa had found. It sparkled still, like the little Tinkerbell did. She briefly wandered off in a brief daydream of what it must be like to be a fairy. However, the current topic of conversation brought her back and she looked at them, her hazel eyes round.
”Mr. Rude isn't in trouble for leaving me, is he? He said it was 'very serious, very important'. He said he was sorry he had to leave but it was urgent."

The series of events that were unfolding was quite a mystery. Who would have called him? Something so important that he left the young girl behind? It was baffling. Rude would have likely blown off Tseng's missions had he been watching Marlene. He'd done it before in the past. There were no messages from Rufus about any emergencies that had occured. What could it have been? It was just very out of character for Rude. It wasn't like he had any family that would take priority outside Reno. Though, he didn't have any missed calls or pressing matters from the redhead. So, Tseng took a few steps to follow Tifa and Marlene into the bar. Cloud said something before he shifted up the stairs. Tifa handled this sort of thing anyway. He likely wasn't concerned seeing as Marlene was safe now. Tifa would deal with the punishments for her being left unattended.
Tifa spoke up about the situation and she didn't seem as angry as he expected. The Turk looked between the young girl and Tifa before speaking. "It's possible. I know I just had quite an odd experience myself. One that I'm not sure I'd believe if I hadn't been the one to experience it. I just don't feel I have enough information to form a reasonable explanation for any of this. I couldn't think of a single reason Rude would leave Marlene unattended. I have no urgent messages and I didn't call him. He's declined requests from me before due to watched Marlene. I don't know what could have been that important to draw him away that I wouldn't already know about." Tseng began.
His dark eyes drifted to Marlene as she voiced her concern about Rude being in trouble. "Not with me, Marlene. I'm just a bit confused and worried. Especially since he always answer when I call." His eyes moved back to Tifa before he spoke up. "Though, I wonder if it has something to do with this beings called heartless that have begun appearing. Dark shadows with piercing yellow eyes. I'm not sure if you two have come across them before. They're different than the normal fiends in the area..." Yes, he was fishing for information now. Avalanche seemed to be the first ones to know about things outside himself and the Turks. Maybe they would have some insight he didn't. @tifa + Marlene Wallace
