a falling star fell from your heart. Tifa was not having any better luck in her search for Cloud, nor was she getting any better at piloting if she were being honest. Though in all fairness, the landing this time had been much less chaotic, with the only real casualty being that of a few trees and bushes. At the very least, the Gummi ship wasn't damaged and still capable of flight if required. Jumping down from the cockpit, the dark haired female would hold up her hand over her eyes, scanning the area with a calm expression. It seemed as if she were in a forest of some kind, yet there was nothing but a empty field further out.
"I guess this is a better place than any to leave it here..."
Looking down at her phone, she would attempt to try and see if any messages came though, finding that, while not too much of a surprise, there wasn't a signal. Considering the kind of world she might have been on, it was likely that such technology wasn't exactly common. Giving even more of a reason for her to likely try and not draw too much attention to herself or the ship. Though it seemed as though it might be too late for that, considering her descent. Placing one hand upon her hip, she at least saw that a few messages had managed to come through, looking down at them as she smiled briefly. It seemed that Denzel was having a great time with Barrett. Yet, that still left Marlene. After leaving her with Rude, she had expected to get a call or a text from her. Maybe it wasn't getting through? It was hard to tell.
Making her way through the wilderness, the young female would sigh as she brushed passed a hanging branch, soon coming upon the grassy plain and a lake. It was such a beautiful sight, nearly taking her breath away as she then noticed the castle in the distance. Maybe they had come upon the blonde hero. It was a long shot, but it wasn't as if she could say for sure. Then again, she wasn't exactly aware of just where she was either, only that from what she could make out of the structure, it was a somewhat olden area.

The calm and cool breeze that blew by was almost soothing in a way. In the world where the kingdom of Cornelia rested the land was filled with an abundance of light. This world had been the victim of decay and disaster, where destruction and discord threatened the world, but none would ever remember nor know the struggles of the 4 that prevented this discord. In a way, their struggles would never be acknowledged as their endeavors were erased by time, but only the four who fought valiantly and the nemesis that failed his quest would carry that struggle in their hearts and never forget it.
Perhaps all he did have left was the beautiful meadow and forest that stood across from the grand castle of Cornelia. This was where it all began for him, where his adventure started and where he met his beloved allies. This place held a special meaning to him and it brought the battle-hardened warrior at peace as he stood there. The weather was warm and cool and all the warrior could do was merely stand and enjoy the breeze, the wind blowing through his exposed silver mane of hair. When everything was done the warrior hoped that he would be able to come to reunite with his friends here once more.
The peace he felt was almost fleeting as a sudden loud noise was heard crashing into the forest nearby. “A ship?” Zest said softly to himself as he had watched the ship's descent before the crash. The stoic warrior could only narrow his eyes a tad, unsure what to think of this occurrence. Whether the pilot of the ship before him was a friend or foe was unsure at the moment, but the only way to figure that out was to merely investigate.
As he stood upon a hill he looked down upon the forest as the wind blew by, ruffling his cape. In his right hand was his sword while the left held his shield. Though he held his weapons they were not held up in preparation for battle but merely to hold for now. After a while soon enough a woman with black hair walked out of the forest and Zest eyes glanced down at her. “A newcomer…” Zest spoke out to the woman as he looked down at her “…what brings you here to the land of Cornelia?” Zest said, his stoic and almost cold and stern gaze looking down at her.

a falling star fell from your heart. A castle on the lake...it was something out of a fairy tale that she would likely have told Marlene and Denzel. Hard to believe that such places like this actually existed out there in the numerous spots of space. Then again, it was a world that even she was starting to get to know. Resting her hand upon her hip, she would then stand up on her toes, placing one hand just above her eyes as to try and better make out the distance. She couldn't very well see a bridge that could get her inside. Maybe it was drawn up or perhaps there was some kind of secret passage. Though there was little time for her to question her next move, as a voice seemed to bring her attention around.
Standing close by was a figure in blue armor, shimmering within the light as though it was encompassing ever inch of him. With a blank expression, she would turn and look at him, hearing his question as she then raised her brow.
"Well..At least I know where I am now....Cornelia..."
Rubbing the back of her neck, Tifa would then smile as she waved in the stern male's direction.
"Sorry..I'm just looking for someone....You wouldn't have happened to have seen a guy in a black coat with blonde spiky hair have you?"
It was starting to get a bit said when she found herself beginning a conversation like this. Of course, she believed that such a description would be easy to make out in a crowd. Though as she found herself leaning slightly to the side, seeing the bits of spiked pale blue locks beneath the knight's helm, the dark haired female would then click her tongue as she released a sigh. Clearly, most of the people she ran into had almost the same exact hairstyle.
"Maybe...just a bit more..pointed...than yours...less...pressed?"
A sheepish grin would rest over her face, still trying her best to be polite as she awaited an answer. @zest

Still standing upon the hill, Zest continued to look down upon the woman with long black hair. Her black attire was something much more different from those that the people of Corneria wore, but Zest had visited quite a few worlds already so this wasn’t quite new to him. Despite finding the woman’s appearance nothing to really be strange, there was something about this woman that almost had a sense of familiarity. He couldn’t say that he met this woman before but for some reason, there was some nagging feeling deep down that wanted to refute that. Although that feeling was there, it was far too deep within and in this case, it didn’t change what he thought at the moment.
The woman did not seem to be somebody that would cause trouble and from what she just spoke it seemed that she was seeking somebody out. At the very least he couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow at the woman’s description as it was rather odd. His own hair was rather wild when he did take off his helmet, but to hear that there was somebody with such spikey hair was a bit surprising. In a way, it felt as if he should know who she was talking about but from his memories, nobody fit the description.
Eyes closed, Zest lightly kicked off the ground he stood upon and then landed next to the newcomer to the world, the weapons he once held were now sheathed to his side. “My apologies, but I haven’t seen anybody fitting that description” Zest said continuing to close his eyes calmly. “...but for you to traverse these many and numerous worlds just to find him...you must truly care for him deeply...” Zest said calmly as he looked over at the woman. “So long as your bonds are strong however you will find him” Zest said simply before he turned his attention over towards the castle out in the distance. “I have only just returned back to this world so I cannot say whether or not he is here, but if he did pass through here then perhaps the townspeople must have seen him...” Zest said as he turned his attention back to the girl. “I am quite familiar with this world and if you require it I can show you around and provide assistance” Zest said. It was perhaps in his nature to truly help others even if they were a stranger, but Zest never did mind and if he could bring smiles to others then that was all he ever cared for.

a falling star fell from your heart. The man on the hill seemed at the very least to be sensible, even if a bit intimidating in some regards. Though Tifa was no stranger to dealing with men that were a bit extreme. It came with running a bar in general, especially when emotions ran high and liquid courage was flowing from their ears. Though this one seemed different, as if he were attempting to try and size her up, or even see if she were familiar in some way. It was all in the eyes, those steely pupils that looked as if they could pierce into your soul if you let them.
But in some strange way...she was starting to think that she had seen him somewhere as well...but that would be impossible. Despite the few worlds that Tifa had been to, she couldn't recall seeing a knight like him in any of them. Yet, this lingering feeling remained in the pit of her gut, nearly to the point of giving her a headache before seeing his movements as he kicked off the ground. Preparing to make her move, she saw him land mere inches away from her, causing her to reel back before seeing him sheath his weapons against his back and waist. In hearing his apology, she would sigh in hearing that he had not seen anyone matching her description of Cloud. It felt like she had hit another dead end.
It was starting to feel more and more pointless to keep this up, but she wasn't ready to give up just yet. As the man continued to speak, she would look at him with a blank expression, her face turning a small hint of red as she then smiled before placing her hands behind her back.
"I do....We've been through a lot together..."
Then came a statement that she had heard before, in a similar manner. He spoke of bonds and the strength behind them. These bonds would help her find him, even if it seemed like things were hopeless. Yet while it was support from a stranger, she found herself believing him, her smile remaining as she nodded her head.
"Thank you...That means a lot...."
It was at that moment that she began to realize something.
"Wait..traversed numerous worlds? You know that I'm not from here..."
It felt sad that she hadn't picked up on this sooner, though at least it would make her questions seem less insane. He himself seemed to have only returned himself, giving the suggestion that while he may not have seen Cloud, someone in the castle might. More than that, he was offering to help her in her search. As she stared at him, she would then bow her head politely as she approached him slowly.
"Thanks...I could use all the help I can get..especially since I have no idea where to start..."
From there, the young woman would extend her hand out, her bright smile remaining as she introduced herself.
"I'm Tifa...Tifa Lockhart..." @zest

It was obvious that the woman would be depressed to hear that the one she was searching for was not here, but looking at her appearance told him that it seemed she had been looking for her target for quite the while. Zest was a rather stern and stoic man. He was a person who focused more so on his tasks that in the end he really did manage to struggle when it came to more casual interactions, but he was learning. After traveling with the 4 other light warriors he began to learn more about people and how to understand them. Of course, rudeness was never an issue as he treated those who weren’t enemies with a natural chivalry, but it was hard for him to understand the more non-battle related feelings. Looking at her face and seeing it red allowed Zest to realize that his statement was correct and that she held a strong bond with her target. It was a true sign that he was learning, but still not much.
Upon hearing the woman’s thanks he merely gave her a small nod in order to acknowledge her gratitude but he couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow at the fact that she only jus realized that he knew she was from another world. “Indeed, that is correct. I have traversed a few worlds myself as well...” Zest said as he suddenly raised his hand and held his chin and glanced over at the forest the woman had come from. “...Though you should probably work on your landing...Though I am quite fond of this area, I guess can make due with a few fallen trees...” Zest said calmly closing his eyes “Nonetheless so long as you are alright then there should be no trouble...” Zest said. Though this was a place that was perhaps the most important place to him, he wouldn’t fault another for accidentally crashing into it and so long as they were alright then that was good enough.
She was a rather polite one and once again she thanked him for his assistance. “It is my pleasure to offer my assistance.” Zest said giving her a nod before glancing down at her outstretched hand. Introducing herself with a name that also brought forth an unknown feeling of déjà vu, Zest put those thoughts aside and took grasp of her hand. “My name is Zest, it is a pleasure to meet you...” Zest said calmly shaking her hand before releasing it and turned away. “We’d best make our way towards the town...come with me...” Zest said as he got ready to walk onwards towards the drawbridge, ready to take the woman into town. “Corneria is filled with generous and helpful individuals. It was good fortune that the adventure my allies and I took began in this kingdom. The people will be more than glad to assist you if they can, but they are unnerved by the sudden appearances of the Heartless. They are not used to such threats, but they are adjusting to dealing with them...” Zest said glancing over at Tifa as he spoke.

a falling star fell from your heart. It would be a lie to say that she hadn't pictured encountering a knight in her youth. A man in shining armor whisking her away on a noble steed and taking her to a castle to live happily ever after. That was how the stories used to go with her father anyway. Of course, reality had a way of taking such innocent thoughts, and knights weren't exactly what you got in Midgar. At least, not many of them. A smile came to her face in actually seeing one such as this, but she managed to keep her composure as he spoke of her landing and how much damage she had caused to the forest.
"Yea...an old man I know wouldn't exactly be thrilled with the damage either...I'm working on it..."
Rubbing the back of her neck, she found her introduction accepted, feeling the grip of his handshake as he said his name. Once again, she had the strange sense of dejuvu, though she couldn't figure out why. In the end, it seemed as if he was more than willing to aid her, at least in traversing the castle town ahead of them. Seeming to lead to the way, Tifa would quickly keep up with him, her hands resting now at her sides as she looked at him, leaning to the side as she attempted to try and recognize him. Something about his demeanor made her know for sure that she had seen him before. But where was still a mystery. Perhaps it was simply that he looked like the kind of man that she'd seen in a book. Or maybe there was more to it? It seemed as if he had been on a journey himself, his companions having had more than an affect upon him, as it seemed as if he had been part of the foundation had helped to build the place as it was now. It was strange how it was similar to how what she and the others did to help their world. But to be fair, this place looked a lot better.
"Sounds like you and your friends did the same thing we did...only better...Maybe it's just the lack of technology or maybe.."
Maybe they were just better connected than they were...
In truth, AVALANCHE had been formed by a group of people with goals that exceeded outside of a united front. If anything, most of them had been out for revenge, not simply saving the planet. Even if the ends justified the means, maybe if they had all been on a similar page, things would have been different. Everyone was doing there part sure, but what was that worth if it didn't make a difference? The Edge was still somewhat desolate. It wasn't exactly homely. Perhaps one day it would, but at the moment..the WRO was still working on it. Reeves would do his best, but Reeves couldn't do it on his own.
"We tried the same thing on our world...but things aren't getting better...We're still living in chaos...and people are less than generous....its survival..."
In the end, there was the mention of Heartless that had caught her attention.
"Heartless..so their here too..I thought it was just in select areas...But if what your saying is true then.....How many have come upon this place?" @zest

Life.
It was such a fickle thing. Beautiful- it certainly was, yet the frailty of such definitive eloquence was far more delicate than glass. A simple, precise crack in the right place, in the form of this proverbial window, through which light and dark in equal shares traversed, would all known shatter into irreparable shards, memories, words left unspoken, motives never enacted upon. For as many times as Ardyn would have felt the welcomed embrace of the beyond, such truths behind the nature of the living had all but become dismissive notions. For every return suffered at the hands of this curse, the euphoric joys of staving off death evermore had all but bled from his soul. A melancholic appreciation was beheld for every failed attempt to find peace. That was of course to account for all the times before, when then was now, and now had yet to have been.
The present played host to a silent rage. It was quelled only by the affable mask the gentleman wore. Like a storm cloud’s ominous silence that preluded the lightning, the thunder, and the chaos. A quiet mountain, which belied the anger and fury of a volcano within. For all accounts by his own recollection, there was no plausible explanation for why he continued to draw breath, why the Chosen King’s play had failed to eradicate the Accursed, eradicate him. Was all this suppressed rage, hatred, despair worthy to hold dominion of his heart once more? Was Noctis’ failure even to blame for this continued condition? Amber eyes examined a gloved hand with a lofty disinterest. There was no joy to behold on this hour. Naught but contempt swelled within him.
Oh there would be a reckoning indeed. Though as he knew with experience, all good things came with time. An element that Ardyn seemed to never be in short supply of. Nevertheless the little setback of otherworldly influential interference would not stop the inevitable from happening. The Starscourge needed to be ended for good this time. Though with so many worlds to which it could spread, between the daemons and these Heartless as to so many referred, it would seem the dear King would have his hands full. Such a mess to clean up, and it was only going to grow by the night. It was a thick forest of dangerous things, dangerous folk, and who knew what else among these foreign lands. The helpless King could hardly find his way through it all, much less take a car ride without a nap. Was it not all for the better that Ardyn chart and help navigate these stranger tides? The Immortal Accursed certainly believed Noct would appreciate the helping hand. He always did after all.
The eloquently dressed traveler stood upon the edge of a forest, gazing out beyond an impressive field, across a sizable lake, to an equally impressive, if not picturesque castle off in the distance. A warm day, sunny and hardly any clouds. A perfect afternoon or early morning for the pleasantry of a casual drive. Were this foreign land in possession of roads, the pomegranate haired man would have felt the need to unload his faithful four-wheeled servant off the airship some few miles from this spot of sightseeing. A vessel of resources to which an intent to return would come, yet for now there remained the matter of assessing the locale. A primitive land when placed in steep comparison to the kingdoms back home. The place was backwater, of a Tenebraean allure, possessive of potentially simple, unassuming folk that adhered to their meager ways. A kingdom of any kind was easily infiltrated, as so many tended to leave the door ajar.
A breeze came swiftly over the hill, prompting the man to hold the onyx fedora sitting loftily atop his red-violet locks; the ornately trimmed coat billowing behind him as dandelions were carried passed. The rustle of the leaves in the foliage above was like a symphony to the otherwise quiet world. Unlike Eos, which found its natural harmonies accented with the horns and hums of autos, there was a breath that could be heard in this land. In a primordial sense, one could indeed feel that the world was alive. Ardyn was never one for the outdoors, yet there was something to be said about the serenity found in the unnerving silence to this land.
The man’s idle pondering placed him alongside a beaten path, which lead down through the glades to a drawbridge. A fine spot to scout for a helping hand, or two, for an excursion that had run behind schedule. Rather it was unlike a man of Izunia’s condition to adhere to an agenda, yet a timely fashion always proved fruitful for cooperation in the machinations of mortal affairs. Sure enough as his estimations of the road’s frequented use, the voices of inbound travelers would carry down the path to Ardyn’s delighted ear. A coy smirk to himself before he would turn on heel to address the pair, a man outfitted in armor, and a young woman clad in leather, with a charming smile and a grandiose wave to them both. Amber eyes gleamed on their approach. Oh this pair would do just fine indeed.
”Why, hello! A warm salutations to my fellow travelers, on such a blissful day!”

(Above post shall be disregarded as the rper is gone)
Zest lived his entire life as a knight devoted to the light. It wasn’t rare for him to comments that he looked like some fairytale knight in shining armor and it was much more of a common thought with those who seemed to yield from a more technologically advanced world in comparison to Cornelia. Though in his past he served a goddess, without his memory he was merely a knight with no lord. Chivalry was instilled into his being and the desire to aid was still rampant inside him and as such he helped even those he did not know. For Tifa, he would gift her his aid, but for some reason, it was more than just a desire to help. Perhaps it was the deep hidden feeling of regret that made him wish for such a thing and the feeling familiarity that she brought as well.
The trek towards the castle was quite away, but as the weather was nice and with the feeling of nostalgia still strong in the warrior, Zest did not mind the walk at all. Speaking about his first moments in Cornelia only strengthened that nostalgia as well, but his attention was turned to Tifa as he listened to her speak on about what he spoke of, listening to proceed about her own experience in her world. “I see, your eyes alone show that you have been through much...” Zest said calmly looking at her before looking forward once more. “I cannot say the work my comrade and I have done is any better than what you and your allies have done. What you see before you is not just the work of me and my allies, but the earnest effort and sincerity of the people that lived upon this world...” Zest said.
“Tifa...me and my allies merely prevented the natural decay of this world, but that was it. In the end, the stability of this world and its future all depended upon those that lived in this world. Though I can aid them, in the end, it falls upon their hands to build and maintain their future...” Zest said closing his eyes. “As such you mustn’t be so hard upon yourself. Take pride in all that you have managed to do and if you there is more to be done then do not falter and continue onwards. Always believe that the light will shine bright even in the most darkest of times... “ Zest said.
With all that said the topic upon the heartless was brought up and Zest opened his eyes once more. “In comparison not as much, but they grow as time moves on. It has been quite a while since I left this world and they are the reason I’ve been traversing the worlds. The moment the people of this world was able to properly adjust to dealing with them I moved my services onwards hoping to find answers as well...” Zest said as his feet came to a halt.
Before them stood the massive gates that lead into the kingdom of Cornelia. What stood before them was a huge drawbridge that was placed downwards for any individual to walk across. Signaling Tifa to continue onwards, Zest walked with the black haired girl and together the two walked into town. A land of merriment and joy, a place filled with the hustle and bustle of the town life filled with clean streets. There we numerous people all about, some trying to sell their wares while others walked about merrily. Children ran about playing, while adults went about their normal content days. Glancing back upon the huge castle ahead, Zest couldn’t help but think back to the time they had to rescue the princess. Recalling that very princess, the kind-hearted beautiful princess made it clear why this land had been able to hold such a sincere peace for so long.
Taking a step forward, Zest glanced over his should and glanced over at Tifa. “This is Cornelia...if your friend was here then I am sure that we will find some lead to his whereabouts here...” Zest said.

a falling star fell from your heart. There was a brief moment of insight that was given, allowing for the young female to remain silent as she took it in. It was so easy to think that you were the one responsible for the worlds problems, Cloud was a good example of that, when in truth, it did take more than just a few people to keep things balanced. In the end, all they had done was help to keep the Planet spinning. It was up to everyone to do their part to make things better. Clearly, Zest had some experience with this, or at the very least had seen how such thinking could effect someone. But, he also knew that you couldn't allow it to consume you, and thus she had to keep pushing forwards to do what had to be done.
"A light that shines in the darkness times....."
It was funny that this brought something else to mind, a smile crossing her lips as she nodded her head in agreement with this, soon keeping in time with the knight as they seemed to grow closer to their destination. Though sadly, the subject would once again return to a more serious matter. It seemed as though Zest had his own counters with the Heartless, even going so far as to venture out to other worlds to find answers. Cupping her hand beneath her face, Tifa would stop short of the gate, eyes narrowed as she tried to remember what she had learned about them from Cid and Squall.
"Aside from them going after individuals with Strong hearts, the fact that they aren't being picky on their targets could mean its just random. But then again, I've never seen anything to this point. Its not just a few worlds that have them..."
Despite this being on her thoughts, Tifa was able to taking the time to admire the large gate that would take them inside, witnessing the drop of the draw bridge that would give them access. More and more, she found herself realizing just how much of a fantasy this place had been in her youth, though she was pretty sure she was far from princess worthy at this point. The bustle of the town within was similar to any place. Though she found it much less depressing here than it was back home. It just seemed full of so much life and perhaps that was because, as Zest had pointed out, they were all working together to forge forwards. Maybe one day, Edge would be able to do the same thing. Smiling as two girls seemed to run passed, she would place her hand inside her pocket, looking around when the man mentioned the name of this place, and the good chance that someone may have an idea of Cloud's whereabouts.
"I hope your right...I mean...He should stand out pretty well here..."
With a shrug of her shoulders, Tifa would look over at Zest, her hand now resting upon her hip as she continued to look around. Though the question was where to start?"
"Guess the best place to start is where the most people gather...do you guys have a bar or town square?" @zest

The heartless truly were becoming quite the problem throughout the worlds. So long as people could not control the darkness in their hearts then these creatures would continue to roam the worlds seeking to satisfy their hunger. From the looks of it Cornelia was able to handle the threat quite well, but that was merely from the outside. Who knew what the people really were thinking and feeling about the situation. In the end Zest couldn’t really say he knew much about the town of Cornelia.
Though true this Cornelia seemed like the one he first entered so long ago, in the end it was different from that period. Time was a tricky thing. Though the past was changed, things did not change significantly in the present. Perhaps whatever governed the world adjusted things so that things were not as different or maybe this was just the destined outcome. Regardless, this Cornelia is now a Cornelia that does not know the plague that the four fiends caused.
“Yes the town square should be just up ahead and in that proximity should be the bar...” Zest said calmly closing his eyes. “My comrade spent most of his time at that bar...” Zest said with a sigh in memory of Rojo’s antics. Regardless of how much trouble the red mage caused he was still a dear friend to him and he always did make things quite lively. “With that said let us start with the town square and then work towards the bar should we not find anything…” Zest said as he took a step forward.
With objective in mind the warrior began his search around, speaking to any other that was walking by in an attempt to see if they knew anything. Though a land that seemed absolutely peaceful it didn’t mean that all the residents were of kind heart. While most were helpful and willing to help there were others who were not so helpful. Regardless their response held the same result and in the end there were no leads.
“I see, there is no sign of him…” Zest said, his eyes closing as he let out a soft sigh. It really did seem like Tifa’s friend did not come by here, but Zest wasn’t one who gave up so easily. Before he would make a decision it was best that at the very least they checked everywhere before coming to a conclusion. “It is getting late...let us try the bar...if you’d like I may treat you to a drink as a welcome to this town…” Zest said calmly looking over at her and signalled her to follow him as he began to walk once more.
Their walk was not a rather long one, but eventually they reached a building filled with noise. As Zest opened the door to their destination they would soon see a bunch of men and women drinking and laughing merrily. Most of them seemed rather burly while others just seemed that one should not mess with them as well.
“Now then lets-”
“Well look who it is!”
Zest’s words were immediately cut off as a large burly fellow began to speak out loudly and brash. It was clear that this man was the leader of the group, the way that everybody looked up at him with smirks was clear enough. Without any hesitation at all the man rose from his seat and walked over to Zest, standing across the knight with a big grin upon his face.
“The mighty warrior of light! Oh our precious savior of light! The slayer of Chaos...or at least the subordinate of the slayer of Chaos! To what do we owe the pleasure of your presence”
A sea of laughter burst out from the bar as the leader spoke. It was clear that the words that the man spoke were that of sarcasm. It was fair as to them the four warriors of light were mere nobodies, but at the same time it was a controversial situation. Zest never cared about fame or glory, though his ally Rojo on the other hand made their accomplishments known. To others it was just the words of madness, but to the rest there was hope and belief in those stories...even if they weren’t that accurate when Rojo told of them.
“I’m looking for somebody, a man with blond spiky hair and a black coat…if you do not hold the answer then I suggest you stop wasting my time with that faux tone...”
Zest word were calm and cool despite the reactions the people of the bar. The leader could only laugh loudly but in a sudden change the man grew furious as he drew a dagger and pointed it at the warrior’s neck.
“You bastard...who do you think you are. Ever since you and your lot barged into Corneria you’ve been a plague. Yeah sure all those people think of you as some saviour who was able to deal with those beasts invading the town, but I see you for what you are...your just a foreigner and a fraud that brought those beasts in the first place!”
The man yelled out his words, but even so Zest remained stoic and calm despite the rage the man felt. It was then that the man’s eyes glanced over at Tifa that things changed.
“Oh? And here you are bringing a harl-”
The words stopped as the man’s nose began to bleed the moment Zest’s fist made contact straight in the center of the leader’s face, not allowing him to say another word further. “...my apologies...it seems I’ve cause us some trouble…” Zest said to Tifa as he rose his fist up, as the other customers began to rise from their seats.

a falling star fell from your heart. It wouldn't have been the first time that someone had attempted to insult her. Especially in an enviorment such as this. She did owe a bar within a city that had its own share of problems and people tended to say things that weren't exactly in line with their character when they had more drinks than they could handle. Though in this instance, it seemed that the attention was more directed towards Zest and the actions of his friends in the past. Time was likely the greatest enemy of ever hero that did the right thing.
Peace was fleeting and the same could be said of victory as well. While she couldn't say just to what lengths in which the knight and his companions had gone through in protecting this place, it was clear that many if not a few, had forgotten that and were easy to place blame on them for things that may have not been in their control. It was easier, and it allowed for some events to make sense when there was a more visible face to the threat. Some of the things that Tifa and her group had done hadn't been the most noble. Not at the start, but they found a goal and were able to achieve it at a heavy cost. That didn't mean that people were capable of forgetting that for a time, AVALANCHE had been terrorists, and it could be said that their actions against Midgar set into motion everything that befell their world.
So in a sense, Tifa did get it, but she also knew that they were reacting to something that may have been beyond their understanding. So in hearing his apology after having defended his honor in a sense, as well as dealing with the loud mouth, the young woman would shrug as she looked towards him.
"It's okay...I've been called worse....but..."
Looking around as more customers began to rise up from their seats, Tifa would hold her ground as she released a sigh.
"I think our troubles just doubled..."
It had been her hope that finding Cloud would be a bit more simple this time. So far, they hadn't gotten any leads and despite some of Cornelia's residents being as helpful as they could, they had come to this bar as a means to get a better lead. Zest had been hopeful, while Tifa was starting to have doubts that he had even been here. In the end, getting anything now might not be as easy, especially after what had just occurred.
"Now boys...lets just try and not do something we'll regret...this is a nice bar and I wouldn't want anything or anyone to get hurt..."
Seeing something moving from the corner of her eye, she noted a man attempting to come up behind Zest with a chair in both hands. Yet as he drew in for the swing, Tifa was swiftly upon him, her leg extended outwards as it launched itself into his chest, causing him to tumble over, the chair collapsing on top of him. Narrowing her eyes, she would bend the appendage back, still holding a ready position as she began to frown.
Bar fight in Cornelia
"Or maybe you do..."
Ten men began to rush forwards, causing her to look over her shoulder towards Zest, lowering her leg quickly as she held up her hands in defense, swaying to the side as one of their attackers made an attempted strike, only to slam the back of her elbow down upon his head, causing him to drop forwards as another would surge in on her right, only to feel a strong jab against his cheek, causing him to spin as he fell back. ------------------ Battle Situation -10 individuals have entered into the conflict -Tifa attacks with physical strikes to deter one -9 Individuals remaining @zest

The adventure that Zest went on with his allies was something amazing to him. The memory of the time together was something precious to him and though they received nothing for their struggles, in a way Zest felt those memories were reward enough. The joy, sorrow, rage, and struggles they went through were numerous, but it was proof that they were alive and Zest was honored to be able to travel with those people. Though Zest seemed like a cold and even uncaring person, one fact that was clear as day was that the warrior of light truly cared about his allies.
Zest did not intend on causing any trouble. In general, the knight wasn’t really one to cause conflict but this was different. Though their time together was short, Tifa was still an ally nonetheless. Though he could not remember having fought alongside the feeling of familiarity was still deep within. Zest was naturally a just man, and he could not just let such an insult slide even if the woman was used to such claims.
One of the men had attempted to strike Tifa, but the woman had already beaten down the man with ease. Zest did not need to worry about her and if anything having her behind him was assuring. Clenching his fists tightly he stood there as he noticed the men approach him. It was odd that the swordsman stood there without any weapons in his hands, but this was the best chance for Zest to test out the strength of his fists and better himself in the combat of hand to hand. One of the men approached Zest thrusting a blade at the warrior, but Zest was quick. Reeling his clench fist in, Zest immediately ducked and avoided the strike. Now crouched underneath the attacker, Zest raised his fist and delivered a mighty uppercut that knocked away his foe. It was a good move, but the move left Zest open to another attacker. Without hesitation, the big man thrust his fist towards Zest’s head and made contact with the side of Zest’s head, but Zest did not move. Calm cold eyes moved towards the man and stared over at him almost piercing at him with his gaze alone.
“I see...I need to work on my openings...” Zest said simply as he shifted his risen fist and send it forward and made contact with the man’s gut. As the man crouched over in pain, Zest merely pushed the man away as he took a step forward and twisted his body, shifting his stance to face a man running straight at the warrior of light. With a mighty thrust of his fist, Zest’s fist made contact with the man’s face and knocked him away. They were doing great at this point and with this he was learning bit by bit, but his moves were still a bit sloppy.

a falling star fell from your heart. The two worked well together, though she was surprised in seeing a knight work without a sword. Of course, he appeared more than able of handling these individuals without them. Few could say that they were versatile in different aspects of combat, especially in it's many forms. Much like she knew that she was not capable of handling a sword as well as someone who had trained in the art, though was well aware that she could possibly snap one in two with enough force.
With the odds growing more and more in their favor, their attackers had become more bold, soon launching themselves with much more vigor than before. Rather than allowing one of their companions to rush in, the attacks would come in pairs, leading to Tifa soon having to move back slightly as she found her back against the counter. As one moved in with a wild swing, her eyes would narrow before rolling to the side, watching his body flail forwards over it's surface. Yet, her time was short to take solace, soon having to raise her arms up to block the next from taking hold of her. Despite her strength, she did lack size and weight, soon feeling herself being lifted and than slammed down on the table counter.
While feeling like a bit of a rag-doll, Tifa would grunt before slamming her heel down onto the man's foot, causing him to yell out as she soon took this as her chance, turning herself around, breaking away from his grip before taking the back of his head and sending it over into the wall of bottles that laid on the other side of the bar. Shattered pieces flew, liquid poured to the floor, and as she reeled back, her head would tilt to the side as she winced slightly with a sheepish expression.
"Sorry...Um...I can fix that later if you want..."
Tifa would attempt to try and assure the owner of her promise, but her apology was cut short as she narrowly avoided a knife being drawn to her back, her gaze shifting towards Zest with a note of concern.
"Not everyone in this town is like this right?" ------------------ Battle Situation -Tifa attacks with physical strikes to deter one -5 Individuals remaining @zest
