Mozzy continued to be his unchill self, and Roxas began to wonder if being trapped in a jungle with this guy was karmic punishment of some kind. Oh sheesh, was this Purgatory? Nah, Saix would be here then, no afterlife of misery would be complete otherwise.
The Wizard of Moz requested an explanation. Y’know that moment where you think you understood a concept, but upon actually having to spell it out to someone you are kind of at loss? The prospect of describing the Corridors of Darkness without sounding like a total lunatic was giving a similar vibe.
Alright, tinfoil hat time.
“The Worlds, like Agrabah,” Roxas began, “and wherever this evil monkey jungle hell is.” The surrounding aboral clearing received a dismissive nod, “are hard to travel between even with magic. I could rip a hole into the Darkness between the Worlds, giving us a shorter trip.” A inhalation accompanied the inevitable. “But it’ll be really dangerous,” Roxas held up a hand in a probably useless effort to forestall megalomaniacal protestations, “even for an all-powerful-sorcerer dude like you.”
The boy folded his arms, giving the ancient trees a weary scrutiny. "Guess our options are looking somewhere your magic works better or risking it in the Darkness.” Blue eyes flicked the sorcerer, expectant but unmarred by their previous uncertainties. “It’ll be your Heart on the line, so it’s your call.”
