Raids FAST PACED These threads are fast paced, player versus player, high risk-high reward threads. These threads last one month, have a posting order, and require someone post at least once every three days. Rules All worlds can be attacked Any and all worlds are susceptible to attacks by any group unless otherwise stated. GroupsGroups may be made up of any amount of people from the same side or even mixed sides. This means the player may be Neutral fighting with the Light or even Light fighting with the Dark. The more people in your raid group, the higher chance you have of winning yet you also have a higher chance of losing from inactivity. Raid groups of five or less per side usually work the best. Betrayals If you betray your side in a raid, it does not matter if the side you “changed” to wins, you will only receive a reward if the side you started with wins. Joining a RaidEach character is only allowed to be in ONE raid at a time. If your are raiding in Traverse Town you may not raid in Hollow Bastion until you pull out, win, or lose the Traverse Town raid. This applies to the “Staff is Reviewing” phase as well.
You also cannot join a "raid in progress" if an attack and defense have already been initiated on a world. If you wish to attack the world, you must wait until the current raid is over. Leaving a Raid | Inactivity | Raid ExtensionIf a member fails to post within 96 hours [four days], they are simply removed from the plot/raid thread and will not be allowed to post in it again. The turn then goes to the next person in the post order. However, if you manage to make your post after the 96 hours [four days], but before the staff removes you, then you are safe to continue.
You are also allowed a single Raid extension. This extension is good for a 24 hours [one day] extension on a raid. However, this extension must be requested in advance before your turn is over. This extension is valid for the character that has been on the site for a year and any other characters they have. This extension is only usable once per raid per character with a 1 Raid Cooldown before it can be used again with that character.
If in the middle of a raid you drop out, You must wait 240 hours [ten days] after you pull out of the original raid to join another as penalty for abandoning your last battle. Please note that even though you posted a vacation thread or notified the staff, you will still be removed from the raid for not posting in the time limit. Un-Approved RaidsAny threads started in a world that are not first posted in the Request's Board and approved by staff are not official threads. These threads will not be accepted as official threads and will not be credited as an attack on the world. Countering an AttackIf an attack thread is placed on a world and you would like stop this attack, you have 120 hours [five days] to get a group together to counter the attack.Example: If a raid counter was posted that Darkness had attacked it and the time stamp was 1:00am on the 30th of May, a Light character would have until 1:00am on the 4th of June to submit a raid counter. The more people you have the higher chance of a successful raid but of course a higher risk of losing because of inactivity. Raid Reviews If there is no clear winner at the end of the month, the staff will put the raid into a reviewing state. At that time, the entire staff will read over the raid and decide a winner depending on the fighting in the thread. Any staff that happens to be involved in the raid are not included in the voting. The staff have the final say. If you have a problem with the outcome you may pm Larxene or Selena to argue the case. You may also simply just re-attack the world. Boss RaidsThese are attacks on a world to ultimately remove any labels on the world. The attacks are to be defended by the side that owns the world. So, if a Raid boss attacks a world that is labeled Light, the Light must get a group to defend the world. The same goes for if a Dark or Neutral world is attacked. However, these bosses are very strong beings and you will want the more then one person in the group. So, you must have a least two members to counter this raid. But also, don't overdo the group size either. Dodging and AttacksDuring any plot battle thread - this includes any Raids - characters are limited to only using a maximum of three of actions per post/turn/round.. These consist of anything in the battle that is used offensively and defensively to gain an advantage in battle such as; powers (those listed on one's character application), standard physical attacks (punching, slashing a combo, etc), and using items (Potions, Phoenix Downs, etc.) This ensures that the character's opponents have a fair chance to write a response both countering the character's attacks as well as making their own.
We believe the members will be fair with their characters and dodge or block their opponent's actions according to the powerplay rule like getting hit to make the fight seem realistic. However, please try and be more descriptive on how you dodge an attack. You need to have more than "<your character's name> dodged the attack." That way it's more interesting and realistic. Special CasesSummons - Summoning it does not count as an action. However, every action that the summon makes counts as one of your two actions. Also depends on the Final Fantasy the summon is from how it would react.Examples FF7 would be a one time summon/attack/dismiss cost. FF8 - No cost to summon, but the attack would count the next post. FFX+ - No summon cost but then each ability use counts as an action since they stay out. Heartless/Nobodies/Minions - Best way to handle, one action per species. Counts as an ability.Example All the Fat Bodies doing a Body Slam, some Shadows diving into the floor, etc. Chained Attacks - Only count as the same attack if the character is not given a choice to chain it. If it's a canon chain, it is one ability. If it is a non-canon chain, then it would not count as one ability. So let's say Golbez has his Float A > Cosmic Ray A. Since they're not separate attacks, they count as one action. Especially since you can not use Cosmic Ray A without doing Float A first. Drive Forms/Ex-Burst/Paradigm Shift - Does not count as an action. You are simply changing to a different set of abilities. As for drive forms, you are giving up one stat for power up another.
If you break the rules, the punishments are as follows:
First Offense - correction of the post. Second Offense - if the offender is still at fault, the reward will be banned at the end of the Raid or Plot thread. [The Raid will still continue so the flow is not disrupted.] Final Offense - the member will be banned from raids, with all characters, until allowed again by staff. Earning RewardsThe characters must win in the plot thread for the full reward. You can still get a reward if you win the raid by default. The characters must stay active up until the point the plot ends for them to receive their rewards. If they drop out of the thread due to inactivity, they will not receive an award at the end. Because we have added a new money system, Raids will earn each member of the remaining winning side X munny per raid. The losing side will win 50 munny if they committed to the raid the whole way through and did NOT drop out before the raid expired (whether by time or early completion).Raids Award Chart
[Losing Raid Team] - 50 munny
If you lose a raid and do not desert, members are rewarded 50 munny. [No Counter Raids] - 10 munny
If a raid defaults with no posts/counter, members are rewarded 10 munny. [Inactive/Default Raids] - 25 munnyIf a raid defaults because the opposing team all fail to post within the time limit, the winners are rewarded with 25 munny. [Ended/Time Limit Reached Raids] - 100 munnyIf a raid does not finish but reaches the time limit, the winners are rewarded with 100 munny. The losers that didn't desert the raid will be rewarded 50 munny for their efforts. [Finished/Completed Raids] - 150 munnyIf a raid is completed before the time limit, the winners are rewarded with 150 munny. The losers that didn't desert the raid will be rewarded 75 munny for their efforts.. [Boss Raid | Special Plot Raid] [Must be Stated] - 150 munny Highlighting AbilitiesUsed abilities in quests should be listed by name in your post and colored at the time you use it. This way, no one can miss you using an ability. If you'd like, you may add an note OOC with a summary of what was used, what the power can do including status effects, and cooldown countdown. This way, a member has no excuse for missing a status effect associated with a power. This is similar to highlighting your character's speech. No Placeholder PostsThis is a post that you place on the forum that is not complete, because you are on a time restraint, that you plan to edit at a later time to make longer. This would be like editing the post from one paragraph to multiple paragraphs. Normally, the staff counts from the moment a member posts their reply to judge how long the next person in the Posting Order has to reply. If you posted a placeholder post and then took 24 hours to edit your post, the following member would have less time to reply to a raid. Any member found using a placeholder post will be removed from whatever raid/mission/tournament they used the placeholder in. Raid LimitationsWe have put a limit on the amount of Raids that are allowed to go on simultaneously. The limit on the Raid is subject to change. CURRENT RAID LIMIT: N/A Template To begin an official raid you must post in the Request Board using the following form:
World Name: [State the name of the World/Board you are attacking] Alignment: [Please list the Raid Group Alignment here - Light, Dark, or Neutral] Raid Group: [State the “Leader” first, then the others members following. If there are no added members, please still bold the Leader’s name]
[b]World Name:[/b] [b]Alignment:[/b] [Light, Dark, or Neutral] [b]Raid Group:[/b] [b]Leader Name Here[/b]; List other members here; and here]

Missions MEDIUM PACED These threads are medium paced, player versus environment, low risk-medium rewards threads. These threads range in duration, have a posting order, and require someone post at least once every three days but are more lenient. What are Missions?Missions are pre-made tasks that allow members to take on a mission and go out and pursue the objective. These tasks can range from search and rescue missions to scavenger hunts. Every month, a new mission or two will be added to the list of available quests. Once a mission is accepted it will be stricken off the Mission Board. Once it is completed, it will be deleted from the board entirely. Selecting A MissionIf you want to start a mission, one where your character is officially rewarded munny, all you have to do is fill out the application below and post it in the request board. A staff member will start the thread. To find the list of available missions, you may visit the mission bulletin board. When your Mission is acceptedIt will be added to the Mirage Arena List. A staff member running the Mission will set up the thread for you, and once completed, they will credit your account the reward munny for your character to spend. Rules One Mission or Quest per MemberRegardless of how many characters you have, a member can only do one mission or quest with one character at a time. Until that mission or quest is finished, you cannot request or join another mission/quest until the mission/quest your character is in is finished. Group SizesYou can have any amount of people join the mission with you. However, you must stay within the range of the mission. If a mission allows you to have between 1-3 members, it can only have 1-3 members. This number includes your character. Unofficially Accepted MissionsAny mission started in a world that is not first requested and approved by staff are not official missions. These missions will not be accepted as official and will not be credited with rewards upon completion. Dodging and AttacksDuring any plot battle thread - this includes any Raids and Missions - characters are limited to only using a maximum of three actions per post/turn/round.. These consist of anything in the battle that is used offensively and defensively to gain an advantage in battle, such as: powers (those listed on one's character application), standard physical attacks (punching, slashing a combo, etc), and using items (Potions, Phoenix Downs, etc.) This ensures that the character's opponents have a fair chance to write a response both countering the character's attacks as well as making their own.

First Offense - correction of the post. Second Offense - if the offender is still at fault, the reward will be banned at the end of the Mission. [The Mission will still continue so the flow is not disrupted.] Final Offense - the member will be banned from Missions/Side-Quests/Raids, with all characters, until allowed again by staff. AwardsAwards will be announced in the mission description. Awards will be given for the bad guys as well as the members who accept the mission. Only successfully completed Missions will be rewarded fully. Members that lose a missions will be awarded 10 munny, however members that drop out will not. FailingThe more difficult the mission, the higher the reward, but it is more likely that you can fail and get nothing. Teaming up with other members is key for a successful mission! If a mission is deemed "failed" by the staff, or if the time limit runs out the Mission will be sent back to the board. The failed party members will be able to re-try that mission again if they'd like. If a mission has been sent back to the board for re-trial, and you were not on the team that failed it, you may sign up for it as well. Members that lose a missions will be awarded 10 munny, however members that drop out will not. Mission Time-Limits | Inactivity | Removal from MissionsLike in Raids, there will be a posting order for missions. There will also be a time-limit in which they are to post after the person before them. If a member fails to post within 96 hours [four days], their turn will be skipped and will go to the next person. However, if you manage to make your post after the 96 hours [four days], but before the staff removes you, you are safe to continue.
If a member of your group misses there turn twice, they will be removed from the mission.
Example: A mission is taken on by Sora, Kairi, and Riku. Kairi misses her turn and both Riku and Sora post in their alloted time limit. If Kairi misses her time limit again during the course of the mission, she will be removed. If more then half of your mission group misses a turn, then you will fail the mission.
Example: If Sora does not post within 96 hours [four days], he will be skipped, then it would be Kairi's turn. If Kairi also does not post in the 96 hours [four days], then 2/3 (more then half) of the mission group missed their turn, therefore failing the mission. If during the course of your mission, your member count drops below the minimum originally required for the mission, then you will fail the mission.
Example: If a mission required you to have between 3-5 members, and you start with three members, if Riku is removed from the mission for any reason, there would only be two other members in the mission. This would be below the three minimum that were required and you will fail the mission. Time ExtensionsThese extensions are used when you need extra time to post instead of just the four days. You must have a legitimate reason for not being able to post in the raid as "no muse" is not a good excuse. Moving or Real Life problems are two reasons for an extension. To be considered for a time extension, you must PM the staff member running this with a link to your vacation thread as well as the reason why you need the extension. Extension are for 48 hours [two days]. Highlighting AbilitiesUsed abilities in quests should be listed by name in your post and colored at the time you use it. This way, no one can miss you using an ability. If you'd like, you may add an note OOC with a summary of what was used, what the power can do including status effects, and cooldown countdown. This way, a member has no excuse for missing a status effect associated with a power. This is similar to highlighting your character's speech. No Placeholder Posts This is a post that you place on the forum that is not complete, because you are on a time restraint, that you plan to edit at a later time to make longer. If you posted a placeholder post and then took 24 hours to edit your post, the following member would have less time to reply to a raid. Any member found using a placeholder post will be removed from whatever raid/mission/tournament they used the placeholder in. Creating You Own Mission | QuestsIf you would like to create your own mission, then you should go and read more below, under Quests. Mission LimitationsWe have put a limit on the amount of Mission that are allowed to go on simultaneously. The limit on the Missions is subject to change and a waiting list has been added to the site so you can keep an eye on when you will be next.
CURRENT MISSION LIMIT: N/A Template Missions are found on the Mission Bulletin Thread. To start an official mission, you must start a thread in "Mission Requests" using the following form:
Mission Name: [The name of the mission] Mission Group: [State Leader First, then other group members]

Quests SLOW PACED These threads are slow paced, player versus player or player verses environment, low risk-low rewards threads. These threads range in duration, have a posting order, but no time limit. What are Quests?Quests are essentially member-made missions. This type of mission allows you to create your own mini-quest. You have the option to request a staff member to run the quest for you or you can have it be member run and have the flexibility to be more creative. These are helpful if the plot doesn't have a story you want your character to be involved with. It's also a slower paced and more relaxed way to earn munny. Signing up for QuestsIf you want to start an original quest, one where your character is officially rewarded munny, all you have to do is fill out the application below and post it in the request board. A staff member will then review your application. If it is accepted, they will respond with the link to the thread. If not, they will contact you to discuss any problems he/she may find with it and solutions to get a final draft that is acceptable. Types of QuestsThere are two types of Quests. There are Staff Run Quests and Member Run Quests. When your Quest is acceptedIt will be added to the Mirage Arena List. A staff member running the Quest will set up the thread for you, and once completed, they will credit your account the reward munny for your character to spend. When your party succeeds in victory! At the end of the thread, a staff member will evaluate the quest and make sure you have made a effort and have succeeded. They will then post at the end of the thread a list of all the remaining characters that have made it through to make sure that they receive munny. At this time, you are free to sign-up for a new Mirage Arena Mission. Rules One Mission or Side-Quest per MemberRegardless of how many characters you have, a member can only do one quest at a time. Until that quest is finished, you cannot request for another, or join another quest until the quest your character is in is finished. Unofficially Accepted QuestAny Quest threads started in a world that are not first posted and approved by staff are not official Quests. These Quests will not be accepted as official threads and will not be credited with rewards upon completion and the player's request. Member Run QuestMembers may run their own quests now. A member may post the layout of their quest with their mission and purpose. A staff member will review it, then approve or deny it. When it is approved, you may start the thread in the chosen board and then begin rping. When it is completed, the staff member would need to be notified so the thread could be reviewed. Once it is complete, the staff member would award the group with money. Dodging and AttacksDuring any quest, characters are limited to only using a maximum of three actions. Actions consist of anything in the battle that is used offensively and defensively to gain an advantage in battle such as; powers (those listed on one's character application), standard physical attacks (a normal attack, punching, slashing a combo etc), and using items (Potions, Phoenix Downs, etc.) This ensures that the character's opponents have a fair chance to write a response both countering the character's attacks as well as making their own.
We believe the members will be fair with their characters to dodge or block their opponent's actions according to the powerplay rule, like getting hit as well to make the fight seem realistic. However, please try to be more descriptive on how you dodge an attack. You need to have more than "<your character's name> dodged the attack." This way it's more interesting and realistic.
Drive Forms/Ex-Burst/Paradigm Shift - Does not count as an action. You are simply changing to a different set of abilities. As for drive forms, you are giving up one stat for power up another. Breaking The RulesIf you break the rules, the punishments are as follows: First warning will be a correction of the post. The second warning will results in all rewards being withheld at the end of the quest thread. On the third and final warning, the member will be banned from quests with all characters until unbanned by staff. Group SizesTo keep your thread active and the post order moving faster, it's beneficial to have a small group. Currently the maximum number of characters you can invite to a quest is four (including yourself) like a traditional KH party. InactivityQuests do not have a time limit. Members can comfortably go at their own pace. However, if the quest goes inactive for over a month, there is a chance that the quest will fail and be closed. On average, a quest could take as little as a week to finish, to as long as more than two months to finish. If the quest is moved to the Archives, or the player(s) become inactive that requested it, the quest can be activated again upon the member's request. Otherwise, it's regarded as dead. Thread Revival | Archived Quests After two months of inactivity, a quest cannot be brought back from the archive. A new quest would need to be started in this event. If you are aware that you have to be aware for more than two months, notifying the Quest moderator or Admin will allow the quest to remain on the board an additional month. Highlighting Abilities Used abilities in quests should be listed by name in your post and colored at the time you use it. This way, no one can miss you using an ability. If you'd like, you may add an note OOC with a summary of what was used, what the power can do including status effects, and cooldown countdown. This way, a member has no excuse for missing a status effect associated with a power. This is similar to highlighting your character's speech.
