PREPARE FOR DE-RESOLUTION ┍ A part of the air started to cause some vibration before suddenly a digital hole opened up and Sark appeared from the code. Before him, floating in the air, was a panel that seemed to be almost fused with the air as shining lines floated and faded away in the air. The man ticked on it before looking at his surroundings. His orange and grey appearance did stand out, especially with all the orange lines glowing up from time to time. Slowly scanning the area, Sark pressed another time on the panel as it vanished, he had tried to transfer to a place he had been to before, but it didn't seem to have worked. "The transfer's corrupted," he figured as he placed his arms behind his back, folding them there and standing tall as he looked up at the castle, then over the garden in front of it that he was actually standing in, "not a very logical section, what program made this?" He raised curiously while looking up at the staircase leading to the castle. Rather than moving in that direction, he turned his entire body around to look at the area behind him and study this. Seeing the gate and, behind it, there were also woods, it reminded him of the previous area he was in, "again the strange architecture." He then turned towards one of the sides as he studied some plants. WORDS: 239 NOTES: Sark's a nerd~ TAGS: Open ┚

Beast lumbered forward, the dark hulking shadow in the woods that even the heartless seemed to shy from after he’d tossed two Neoshadows against a large tree like useless bags of dirt to be discarded. He was familiar with those tiny monsters and he would do again several times over. The rest of the shadows having their match for the most part confused by the show of brutality mostly looked to one another before slipping back into darkness. There was a towering castle in the distance in a shimmering blue, and as much as he’d like to say his intent was heroic, he was only traveling the worlds for the desire to exterminate the heartless as a way to ‘do his part’ his heart told everything he simply couldn’t say. He was looking for her.
A gate just as illustrious as the castle was ahead and the Beast continued forward toward it assuming that it would lead to the castle’s courtyard…a courtyard much more spacious than his own he would come to find. He arrived at shining iron ornamentation and was surprised to find that it was not even locked. His burly paw had little resistance in pushing the gate open and it was thankfully wide enough to allow him entry. He stalked forward into the softly lit courtyard only to pause upon noticing what looked to be a man shuffling near the fountain, his movements strangely mechanical. He was inspecting the plants. Maybe he was a castle gardener? The uniform certainly made little sense with the castle lights and blue hue cast by the fountain. The hair on the Beast’s neck bristled up and he tensed his eyes locking on to the man in the courtyard. Something wasn’t right here. He stalked forward into the light of the courtyard.

PREPARE FOR DE-RESOLUTION ┍ Sark took a step back as he scratched his chin, having his arms somewhat folded before his chest. "No, I cannot place this in a logical manner, I shall store it for later," he said to himself, figuring the flowers and green was just too much to decipher for the moment. Checking his database, he could find some details, but these User-related things were a little difficult dealing with. The program placed his arms behind his back again as he turned around. Looking around, Sark felt like he was watched and soon he did note someone in the light of the courtyard. It wasn't like any User he had seen before. The many strange wires that came from the body were called hairs from what he could understand, somewhere in his database he found the concept of "fur". He didn't really understand too much of it presently. The Command Program was certain he needed to start learning a lot about the world of the Users, it was never necessary back in the computer. "I am Commander Sark, Number Two of the MCP," Sark firmly introduced himself as, "who are you and what section have I arrived in?" he continued, hoping to get some answers on who the creature was... if it could speak, it had clothes at least, so he assumed some intelligence, and where he was. It was better than nothing. WORDS: 235 NOTES: Oh, hey there. TAGS: @beast ┚

The Beast remained cautious and very much wary of the figure in the courtyard. Whoever he was, there was a certain regalness to him and a color coordination that suggested he belonged but the Beast knew better than anyone not to be deceived by appearances. As 'the commander' marched forward and introduced himself, the Beast rose up on his haunches to his full height, his looming figure casting a monstrous shadow over the cobblestone.
Slightly confused when 'the commander' demanded to know what 'sector' this was, the Beast tilted his horned head slightly to the side, his tusks revealed in the light a bit from the way his mouth had fallen open a little. "Err...this looks like the courtyard to me." He gestured vaguely toward the towering white castle shimmering in the short distance away. "Whoever's in charge likely lives there."
His voice was deep with a growling edge even though the conversation at hand really didn't elicit any associated emotion that might cause a tone like that. It was an almost primal tone. "Who I am doesn't really matter." he added quietly, his soulful and very much human blue eyes rising toward the castle towers. "Most call me 'Beast'" he finally said to give his strange new acquaintance something to go off of.

PREPARE FOR DE-RESOLUTION ┍ 'Beast', the name itself seemed like the most logical appointment for the creature. It fit quite well with his appearance. Sark nodded. The fact this place was referred to as the 'Courtyard' just had him register it in mind for now. There weren't much information in his data on this word after all. Not that he expected it, he wasn't a program that dealt much with what was outside the computer. This also meant he'd likely be lacking a lot of common knowledge. The fact that the Beast had stood up as a monstrous shadow didn't faze the Commander at all. It was a bit of a bother that he had to look up, considering he enjoyed looking down on people. An odd sensation this was. If he hadn't been a program, he'd likely have reacted quite differently and been unsettled by both appearance and his stance. Instead, Sark continued formally like this was normal. "Then you are not familiar with those in charge here?" he asked in a sterner tone, "a pity, I hoped to come understand how those that live here appeared as."Shaking his head lightly, a bit bothered by this situation he was now in. Sark then refocused on the Beast. "Very well, you're not a typical User, Beast. May I ask whether your appearance is what those where you are from appear as?" he inquired, hoping to continue gathering knowledge from the Beast now he was there. It seemed illogical to just send him away or leave while he could gain more out of this confrontation. The Commander didn't want to appear hostile in an area unfamiliar to him. He was already an outsider, balance had to be maintained for as long as he could. WORDS: 293 NOTES: Sorry for the late reaction! TAGS: @beast ┚

Well he knew he wasn’t typical but what did this man mean by ‘User.’ Beast had never heard anything like that before. Then he asked about his appearance, and while Beast probably should have taken into account how daring it was to ask such a candid question and maybe even be alright with opening the floor for discussion on it, once upon a time the Beast was a vain and beautiful prince. To say that he was sensitive about his appearance was a pretty reasonable deduction. For those that knew nothing of his past, that the Beast absolutely bristled at the strangely glowing man’s question was a pretty indication of how he might have felt about being asked that question.
”NO!” the Beast barked, nearly salivating in the offense. And that was about it for the Beast’s tolerance and social graces. He’d gotten a bad feeling from the man before interacting with him and after was no better. His hulking furred arms and shoulders accenting each and every one of his lumbering steps, the Beast moved past the man in blue stalking with an evidently angrier purpose than he’d walked in with.

PREPARE FOR DE-RESOLUTION ┍ Sark's eyes widened a bit when the Beast barked back at him. He couldn't process why the User would lash out like that. Thinking about it, was the appearance a sensitive subject for his type of User? He'd have liked to find out more, but the Beast then walked past and appeared to be leaving. "Isn't it rude to just leave without a word?" he asked while turning around, his voice remaining calm, but he had felt a bit disturbed by the change in atmosphere. Perhaps he was asking for trouble when continuing this discussion, but he felt the need to try regardless. If the Beast was to go in on this, Sark was interested in what manner of reaction he could expect onward. In the scenario that the Beast just left without a word further, continuing to walk, he felt it would be unnecessary to continue speaking towards the hulking figure. It just meant this discussion was over and he supposed he could concentrate again on this sector or perhaps the structure itself. Find whoever the owner was like the Beast had spoken of. In any case, he was gaining knowledge and he could use whatever he could pull out. In earnest, Sark didn't look forward to a fight, not now at least, so if it came down to that... He would defend himself, but preferably figure out either to calm the User down again or possibly leave. The latter was the least favorable. Of course, he could fight back, but it seemed like a pointless endeavor to try and beat the User. It had little purpose. Only moments after the Beast stalked past the strange faintly glowing man, he was questioned on the on the nature of his behavior and whether it was rude of him or not and the Beast whipped around, his eyes wild and his nostrils flared. He drew in a breath that was audible and made his muscular shoulders raise on either side. The creature looked like he could rip the cast iron gates right off of their posts with arms like that and with the elevated bristling of his fur. It took him a moment to reply and in that moment he’d noted that the look on the man’s face was one of general curiosity. ”Only as rude as it is to ask someone why they look the way they do.” he fired at the guy with a pointed stare, his age and the tendencies that tended to come with it showing themselves in his facial expression.
”Speaking of that, you look like you’re glowing. Are you under an enchantment?” he asked. There was the off chance that he was talking down to someone who a powerful spellcaster himself. That was the last sort of person that the Beast wanted to talk to that way considering that maybe there was another way to deal with his affliction. The more the Beast talked to and observed this strange man the more clear it was that he probably was from another world and not one that the Beast would have ever seen or known anything about. There was an elegance to this world, something enchanting and regal, and here the two men stood, well one man one monster, neither really looking short of entirely out of place. The man looked…advanced. It was really the only word the Beast could even try to put toward the description.

PREPARE FOR DE-RESOLUTION ┍ The Beast turned, snapping back and drawing breath in a very visible manner. The motions and actions were all registered by the Program as Sark watched him. He pulled up an arm and lightly stroked his chin as he looked somewhat burdened at the other, pondering on the many motions. He recognized a lot of it, but considering how neutral many programs displayed, the fact that someone would... express themselves so immensely was fascinating to see and it bugged the Program that he was wanting to see more. The Program nodded to the statement the Beast made with a stare. His expression still neutral, displaying no signs of fear. It was possibly an odd thing for one to not display such things especially with the Beast's appearance. If a normal human being had stood in Sark's position, he might have already fled long ago or be immensely frightened by the imposing, angered figure. Then a question was returned and Sark's eyes became slightly wider, “no,” he replied. It sounded strange in his ears, he didn't really know of any enchantments, “this is my natural form,” he continued while placing his arms behind his back. He pondered on explaining the glow, like how they correspondent to his type and how they were created with the lines, but left that for now unless he had more questions on it. Thinking on it now, he did stand out with his appearance, he doubted he would look natural in any world of the Users to start with. WORDS: 253 NOTES: POSTED! TAGS: @beast ┚

The Beast spared the commander a long silent moment, his stare still that of a disturbed wild animal's as the man explained that he was under no enchantment, that the emitted glow was if his natural form. The prince couldn't exactly say why but that phrasing seemed wrong to him. Regardless he didn't question it. His interest in whatever was going on out here in the courtyard had faded only moments after he'd set a lumbering foot into it. "Fine." the Beast conceded with a dark gruff tone.
"I'm here to find someone so I'm going into that caslte." the Beast didn't imply that he had any interest in what Sark was here for because quite frankly he didn't. The beast had a very limited capacity for patience or politeness. Very limited. He wasn't sure what it was about this guy, but the Beast didn't like him. To be fair, it was rare that he liked anyone, but there was something particularly off with this one. With a snarl, his teeth bared for only a moment, the monster turned his attention toward the staircase and he began his ascent on what was as pristine as polished marble.

PREPARE FOR DE-RESOLUTION ┍ Looking back at the stare, the Commander felt this was going to be a pointless conversation at this point. A hopeless one to continue and a pointless one when it came to furthering their goals. Actually, as he explained his situation, Sark came to understand he was just keeping the Beast up. He nodded in response and watched the Beast starting to ascend the staircase. "I wish you luck in finding this person," Sark replied as he looked around, "I shall no longer bother you." With that, he turned away and wandered further into the garden as he peered around at the greenery and all the plants while trying to make sense of what all had just happened. Perhaps he needed to expand his functions a little to come to a better understanding of this world. Especially considering the many new things he was going to experience. He needed the space to learn. Commander Sark left the thread.WORDS: 155 NOTES: I feel it's kind of pointless to keep this going and I really need to figure out what I'm doing with my threads currently, lol. TAGS: @beast ┚

That he wished him luck was perhaps the most normal thing this Sark had said in their entire encounter and for the strangeness of it being said, the monsterous prince paused, a raised furry brow framing one blue eye's gaze cast over his haunched shoulder. Sark told him he wouldn't be bothering him any longer and the Beast supposed that that was best for the both of them. He still had no idea what the guy was doing out there in the courtyard and he cared even less now. Talking to him had been migraine inducing. Only a grumble of acknowledgment accompanied the Beasts movement as he continued his way up the marbled stairs, his eyes on the light of the castle windows. Belle wasn't here. He couldn't feel her in his heart as he continued on, but he knew that she knew other princesses. Maybe the one that lived here could help him.
