“How did I get myself into this..."
The royal was lost.. completely lost and there was not much he could do about his current situation, except of trying his best to find a way out of the ruin he has stranded in. He had entered this world an hour ago through his ship and just wanted to investigate, but when he was walking over the plateau he had parked his ship on, the ground under him suddenly broke and he fell quiet a long way down into some kind of cave. He couldn’t get back up again the way he came in, so his only option was to walk deeper into it to find the exit. Yes, the gods had blessed him with a fall that didn't break any of his limps, but he really must be cursed in some way still to have such a lack of luck for the rest of this.. adventure he had fallen into. The path he had walked down was pretty dark, the light attached to his torso the only thing that kept him from stumbling around like an idiot. The royal sighed. How much longer would he have to walk...? Thankfully, he could finally feel some air moving through the tunnel, so there must be an opening somewhere. He followed the wind until he reached an opening of a rather big cave, filled with water, a ruin sticking out from under it.
The Ex-commander blinked. Such a beautiful sight, yet it didn’t help with his situation... it only worsened it. Ravus was a good swimmer, but he rather not get himself drenched with his armour. He was higher up in the cave, his eyes travelling upwards to where the opening was... there was no way for him to climb up there so his only option was to get down to the ruin itself. Carefully, he made his way down the broken parts of stone, the last stretch just a small jump unto what seemed to the remains of a bridge. His way led him past some old pillars close to the bridge and he stopped in front of one, placing his human hand on the surface, carefully moving it over the carved words in it. It was a language he had never seen anywhere before. He wondered what secrets this place held. It was obvious that this ruin was once an ancient city. What had happened to it? The ruins looked over a thousand years old, but the way it was destroyed... was making him think a little. Not even demons could do this... it had been crushed by waves and pure destructive force. A tsunami maybe? A terrible storm that could drown a whole city?
Ravus shook his head. He didn’t have time for this... he needed to get out off this giant cave.
