[attr="class","parmcontent"] [attr="class","parmtitle"]The protector [attr="class","parmesan"] Ravus was starting to regret that he mentioned this to Rufus, but if the man truly wanted him to cooperate, than he would have to know about it. Rufus had already done him a great favor by fixing his arm and making it work better, so Rufus could only agree to help or let his new discoveries slide. The commander wasn't an idiot. Rufus and his company didn't just do this to help him, but also to use his knowledge and arm to advance their troops. He never would have shared this information with anyone, but after being around Rina for a while.. he actually seemed to have understood that he can't handle this illness alone. No one could... and Rufus was already trying to get some information, asking a very important one first. The commander looked at the ground for a moment. “.. I came here, because someone I know told me that your people have been able to get rid of a similar sickness. I took the risk of infecting others... You can think of me what you want for choosing this. Better than waiting and letting it take over without having tried.”He followed Rufus to the office and seated himself on the chair the CEO offered, sighing slightly. “It is called the star scourge from where I come from. It's a very old sickness that existed on my home for over a thousand years, maybe even longer. Legend says a meteor brought it to us... so, similar to what your world experienced. Also a reason I chose to come here today.”The man turned quiet for a moment, remembering his fight with the mutant in the chamber. “It seems to even have a similar effect on people. It turns them into monsters.. it doesn't even stop at dead people. If you are infected and die, you will come back as one of them.”He closed his eyes for a moment, remembering what he had been taught when he was younger by his mother about the scourge. “Only the light of a object called the crystal could hold it back, but it was never strong enough to truly destroy it. People blessed by the gods could heal others, but it would kill them in the end. It was my families duty for centuries to heal those infected by the scourge, so the sickness would not spread even more, but only women were blessed... it's a little complicated. I can cut it short if you desire."

| Sorry? Why, I've never had this much fun. | |
Rufus sat contemplating Ravus' words and actions. He could not fault the man for he would have done the same thing were he in his shoes. But what had bothered him about this situation was the familiarity. Rufus felt a chill as he listened to the man; the similarities were uncanny and seemed to bind them closer than he had previously considered. At some point during the conversation Rufus leaned forward as he listened. The executive rest his chin on the back of his netted fingers: elbows propped on top of his desk. Beneath Dark Nation would hold their head raised, cropped ears perked up as they regarded Rufus' shifting mood, which may have not been obvious to outsiders. Dark Nation and Tseng had a particular skill when it came to reading Rufus, which came in handy as he was oft given to behaving recklessly and depending on the backup of the Turks to carry him out of a situation out on their backs just as he had done the same for them. Rufus was a man of questionable honor. So long as you were of use and not a threat to his company he found cause to keep one around. But Ravus was a curiosity. His words led Rufus to believe the man carried a disease similar to the Stigma, but he was not of their world so he was not a threat to possibly re-infect Planet, at least it was Rufus' theory. He had never considered the result of a foreign body dying on Planet. While Jenova had indeed seeped deep into the Lifestream that had been due to their infection of a native body and former attempts to weaken Planet. Jenova was a parasite after all and it had no reason to cooperate with a world it had no intention of inhabiting. Ravus did not seem the sort to intentionally infect their world, but his actions were irresponsible. Rufus had to consider deeply this dilemma. He was silent. If not for the hands of the clock audibly ticking away one could have thought time had stopped in the room. Not even the wind seemed to blow: the curtain behind Rufus as still as a painting. Rufus finally reached down to open his drawer. After some shuffling the President would set down a manila folder on the desk that was labeled in the world's script. It was unknown if Ravus had the capacity to read their letters. " Project G." Rufus spoke aloud, breaking the suffocating silence. " It was a secondary project the old Shinra worked on that manipulated the genome of a human to manifest traits of a race of Ancient people that had inhabited this world long before we humans arrived... It is said they are capable of using healing arts that can cure any sickness, even restore a sick planet..." he had seen that power for himself. " It was a failure." He stated firmly. " And we would never consider instating the project again, or at least we had not. It came to our attention that one of the subjects had possibly survived and transferred these abilities to another that is currently under our care. I am willing to set up a meeting with her, but it may not be an easy task. Talk with her, see what she says. She may decide you cannot be helped, or she will know of a way to handle this we could never hope to. What do you say?" He looked to Ravus after his explanation. It was not a situation one could take with any assurance, but there was honesty in Rufus' approach. He would not promise Ravus anything he could not provide, but if he wanted hope than that was something he could certainly present. ▲

[attr="class","parmcontent"] [attr="class","parmtitle"]The protector [attr="class","parmesan"] Rufus watched the man quietly for some time as he waited for a response. Ravus was not the best at reading emotions, but he could tell by a man's body language what he might be thinking or feeling right now. Rufus was good at hiding his emotions and everything but the commander could see a part of the man's skin crawl as he listened to Ravus words. This seemed to have reached something in the man's mind and body he would rather not think about. If it was not the man's body reaction, it was the dog that shifted in it's position. The man was frozen for some time before he would move to open a drawer and pull out a folder and place it on the desk. Ravus looked at the writing on it, the language similar to that of his home, so he could read the title on it. Project G.... He took the folder and opened it, his eyes scanning through the pages and pictures, his expression turning sour as he listened to Rufus and looked at the papers in his hnads. Once again he was reminded on how similar their history was. The prince sighed slightly, looking up at Rufus again after closing the folder, the last picture having been one of the failed subjects. There went his sleep for the night... So a girl had survived this and could be able to help him? It felt odd having to turn to someone that had been treated like this for aid.. but this might be his only chance of survival and making sure he was not the next 'ursuper' to transfer this illness to new stars. He could almost see Ardyn smirk while his plan unfolds. His eyes darkened at the thought of being used by this man again, his mind ready to accept this. “... I accept. I will not become a tool of this evil, even if it is the last thing I do.”

Even if Ravus had attempted to read the executive: Rufus' emotions were a company secret. While conveniently upfront about his intentions, his emotions were masked under unbending layers introduced over the course of his lifetime. Whenever he would express his feelings his father made sure to demean and berate the boy who has did naught but express legitimate concerns for the terrors he has seen under his father's very nose which extended far from the wars he forged under the flag of a sensationalized sense of patriotism. No they were much closer to home. Even now Rufus had learned to manage his true emotions lest find himself at the whims of his enemies. And Rufus had plenty of those. Every action the man took was tactical, calculated down to the very reactions of his opponents. While Ravus was no enemy he was still opposition: a piece on his board he'd be unable to fully control, to move. He had other methods to manipulate the odds into his favor though. If Ravus was to move he would do so under he illusion of his own choice. This sickness he suffered was not unlike that of the Stigma and by that Rufus suspected that such things could not be spread from Ravus to those of this world. The Lifestream was undoubtedly restrictive of what flowers through her cycle. In this way Ravus would owe him, owe Planet a measure of debt which he could call in during her times of need. Rufus had plenty of enemies. He need nor make war with those not of his world. Not yet. Rufus nodded. " Good." Ravus has only two paths open to him and one was the utter acceptance of his defeat in the face of his pestilence. " I will need to make a few calls but we can head out. A helicopter will be waiting for us on the roof." Rufus stood from his seat before he slid his PHS from his jacket's inner pocket and flipped it open. Dark Nation hurried to their paws and ambled towards the door, snaking passed Ravus as if he was a target they had no permission to bite. Rufus followed, heading toward the elevator down the hall. He smirked as the other line finally picked up. " Yes. I'll need the helicopter waiting for me yesterday and if you could -- send an email to that woman. She will be having company soon." Rufus stepped on the elevator once his call was concluded. Dark Nation sat at his side, the man looking to Ravus. " We will be heading to a city called Kalm." ▲

[attr="class","parmcontent"] [attr="class","parmtitle"]The protector [attr="class","parmesan"] Was this a normal exchange between to men they had so far? No, not really. Well, to people watching it seemed like the were talking normally about a difficult situation that needed to be fixed, but it was more than that. It was starting to become a game of chess, at least for Ravus. He was playing his part in Rufus game, replacing one of the missing pieces on the mans board, but Rufus was not just giving intop the man's control. He wanted to learn more about this world and this man that seemed to control it with the help of his company. Rufus said he didn't want to repeat the same mistakes his father and his company had made in the past, but other people will.. and he would make sure that Rufus would keep his word. Should this man or anyone from his company try to use the magitec-technology for evil.. he will surely bring judgment to them, even if their deal might blow from it. That Rufus even got some trust from Ravus was already something to treasure. The man had been betrayed a lot on his life and most would have forgotten how trust even felt like. Ravus had been no different, but... after seeing that Noctus truly could change the world, some of his hope seemed to have returned. This wouldn't make him any less careful though. Rufus pulled out his phone and had a short talk with one of his employees how it seemed. A helicopter? Well, this man surely had the resources at his hands to get things done fast, if needed. Ravus followed the man to the elevator, joining him before the door would close and the elevator set itself in motion. Ravus crossed his arms, his eyes tracing the plates of his new metalic arm. A thought struck his mind. Rufus seemed to know some things about monsters. “You know, I am curious. You are well informed about the things that happen on this planet, I assume. Have their been sightings of... strange black creatures?”

| Sorry? Why, I've never had this much fun. | |
Rufus wasn't someone one could call normal, or even odd. While he has a considerable number of peculiarities they were wholly the result of his upbringing which was deemed outstanding by his father and those who would dare utter the man's name under breath. He was privileged and could often afford his eccentricities which, to the wealthy, were deemed mere hobbies that facilitated the idle hands they seemed to suffer when everything was fed to them on silver spoons.
But Rufus had the luxury to face a calamity from the skies that would nearly wipe out his world. It bred a new perspective and forced the man to face his own mortality. Had his father ever come face to face with his own weakness, or even death? Rufus often found himself wandering his memories as the radio station droned on about the goings on around Planet. Shinra owned the news station so it only put out information the company deemed necessary for keeping the peace. Collapsing makou reactors and deadly fountains of Lifestream occasionally bursting from active regions would only stir paranoia in the already fragile minds of a people who had lost nearly everything. No as he listened to these reports he found it easier to mentally drift: and when he did they were memories of his father
He never knew the man to turn his back to his enemies. His father would always get what it was he desired but that was not without effort. If there was anything Rufus could admire in that man was his ability to succeed, to act. Everything in his life which had accumulated was because he worked to make it a reality. In some ways Rufus sought to emulate that, but he lacked that type of tenacity. It was not to say Rufus wouldn't work for what he wanted, but he never found himself wanting more than he could conceivably reach for beneath his own power. Those thoughts and feelings became more evident as the Planet now forced them to change their thinking after the Calamity from the skies struck a final time. But it was not final and Rufus needed many more allies for when the time came.
He climbed into the helicopter and would wait for Ravus to board before taking off. The vehicle would take them high above Edge: the ruins of Midgar a familiar sight to anyone who has seen destruction and war ravage a city. But this was no civil revolt or a war between kingdoms. This was the result of a single soldier who had been scorned. Rufus sat with his leg crossed over his knee: Dark Nation rest under his legs, used to the ride in question. It was not a short ride, but neither was it long and would give the men time enough to talk.
"So tell me Ravus, does it remind you of your home? Our world?" He pondered such things deeply. They had many similarities and yet the differences were far and wide. "I can say I have never been far from my own." But that was quickly coming to an end. With his efforts in Rocket Town he had hoped to reignite that town's drive to reach for the stars through works of research in new measures of travel that did not use makou as fuel. They would eventually be over Kalm, the helicopter having to land a decent distance away as the small hamlet had no helipad of its own. The contrast between Midgar and Kalm were night and day, despite the fact that the two cities were merely miles apart. ▲

[attr="class","parmcontent"] [attr="class","parmtitle"]The protector [attr="class","parmesan"] Ravus seemed like he would listen to the news in the radio of the elevator, but he started filtering it out after a few seconds. He was not an idiot. He knew that Radio-stations and TV's would only scratch the surface of what truly was happening in the world. They were all corrupted by those with money and influence and only would give out the information the people needed to know, from their point of view. Ravus moved a hand in his pocket, touching the metallic emblem he had been given, reminding himself not to go to deep in his thoughts and encourage his bitterness towards the world. Once they reached the top, the prince would follow the CEO of Shinra into the helicopter, the man watching the outside world from there. The helicopter was an interesting concept of a flying machine he had not seen till now. It felt almost outdated to him, knowing the flying vehicles of Niflheim functioned completely different. The man did not expect for Rufus Shinra to suddenly start small talk during their flight. Was he trying to lift the mood a bit? Hm, weird thought. “It's... uncomfortably similar.”, he would answer with a hint of uneasiness on his face. “It's almost like this star is an other version of my own... and it is worrying me. Maybe it was fate I was brought here, but I am not sure if that is a good or a bad thing, yet.”He turned his face away from the man than, watching the landscape outside of the vehicle change, the more they left the surroundings of Midgard. His hand moved to his metallic arm, taking hold of it a bit, his fingers holding on tightly to the metal without him realizing how uncomfortable he truly was with this information. This world had been able to defend itself of a catastrophe similar to the scourge, but could it really defend itself from an other Apocalypse ,like the previous? Ravus stayed quiet for the rest of the flight, until the helicopter seemed to get ready to land above a town. White eyebrows would move up slightly at the sight of the town. It looked completely different from the big city they had been in before and also reminded him of nothing he knew from his home. The Houses were small, all build in similar style and with the same stone. Flowers would grace every houses window, a fresh and calming smell radiating through the whole place. The walls were made of firm and old stone and seemed to have shielded the town from evil for centuries. The people on the streets seeing the helicopter started to gather on the plaza, seemingly curious of the visitors. It seems like it has been a while since they last had a helicopter coming here.

Little did Ravus know how much he was right: much of the news and radio was controlled by Shinra. There wasn't a story aired or song played that wasn't filtered through their censorship. Reputation was always an important factor in Shinra's place in the lives of Planet's inhabitants and to ensure that the radical naysayers were quickly shut down for the sake of the company's continued existence and the forward progress of the world. And though it was often not seen as a choice of freedom by many: sometimes the choices of who maintained power was left to this who had seen hell face to face and have met Hades in person. Rufus felt himself most qualified for the position and felt that without Shinra the world would return to its primitive ways, scraping along for survival and fighting amongst themselves. He would look to Ravus as he spoke up on their world's likeness. " I don't see why it should worry you." Rufus presented. " My world is still intact and still growing. In time we'll return to the Stars and find out way to true prosperity. And unlike my father's attempt it will not be at the cost of our people's own lives. Progress isn't possible without the idealism and efforts of this world's inhabitants." But it was only a matter of time until the Cataclysm returned. " I think it is a good thing. Perhaps you'll learn something of yourself that was not possible in your world." Rufus would step from the helicopter, Dark Nation padding beside him as he marched forward. A Turk met him on the landing and explained they set up a private area where they could meet with their contact. " Ready?" Not that there was much of a choice in it. If Ravus wanted his answer she would be able to give it. They would be escorted to a large cafe that had been cleared of customers for the day, rented out by the CEO. Inside was a young woman sitting at one of the tables with sharp, red hair and a blue colored outfit. She looked quite young, but it was doubtful Rufus' important contact on the matter was a child. The man was full of surprises, and this would be one of them. The woman looked up. " I should have known." Her tone was flat and gave no emotion behind the words so it made it difficult to tell if she was annoyed or amused. " Rufus Shinra, and --?" he would request Ravus' name before motioning for them to come sit. " You contact told me someone wanted more concrete data on the Stigma. I did not think you would require such information." Rufus shook his head as he sat. " I don't, but my friend here does. I thought it best from an unbiased source that still carries a reasonable amount of contempt for what Shinra once was in my father's pride." The woman nodded in understanding. "A reasonable request. Very well. Why do you need to know about the Stigma? You aren't suffering from it, are you?" There were still people that, time to time, were found afflicted with it, but the source of the cure was well guarded by the WRO and given out to those who still suffered from the sickness. ▲

[attr="class","parmcontent"] [attr="class","parmtitle"]The protector [attr="class","parmesan"] The Prince had seen his world fall to ruin, with him being part of what brought it to an end. Rufus and him where no different when it came to this one simple fact. They both had been on the side of what damaged their world for some time. Both him and Rufus tried to do better, but the man in front of him was not raised the same, so of course he wouldn't share the same thoughts with him. He listened to what the Head of Shinra was sharing with him and simply nodded at his words. Once the helicopter landed, the man would get up, following Rufus and his hound. They would be escorted to a cafe, that had been cleared out fully, except for one person that seemed to be waiting for the two men. The commander was surprised to find a young woman being the 'help' Rufus had offered to him. His eyes would narrow in irritation at the sight, but he stayed silent and let Rufus do the talking for now. The girl greeted both, Ravus putting a hand on his chest as a gesture of respect as he shared his name with her. “Ravus nox Fleuret.” The man joined them at the table, his eyes still fixed on the girl in front of him. The girl in front of him gave of a strange aura, that almost felt ancient, even though she didn't look much older than 12. Maybe it was him being trained to be a spiritual guidance to his people, that even after so many years in Niflheims service, his eyes could still make out such things. Once the woman would address him an ask him some questions, he would finally speak up once more. “I am suffering from a sickness, that seems to be similar to what the people call 'Stigma'. Though I am not sure, if it could be the same evil that brought it upon me.” The man carefully placed his metallic arm on the table to lean forward a bit, looking the girl into those calm and emotionless eyes. “My people call it 'the scourge'. It has been brought to us by the stars and those that get infected by it turn into monsters... if it is anything like what Rufus described the Stigma to be, than you might be able to help me cure it.” The man would sigh however, his two-colored eyes turning to look at the table in front of him. “At least, that is what I hope.”

Rufus gave the woman a curt smile before he moved to sit. Dark Nation moved with equal flourish and grace and without needing to be beckoned by his master the sleek, black-furred hound would rest at his feet and turn its gaze towards the door. The executive had decided to help himself to the sweets. While he was one who often avoided the decadent treat he could not help himself once in the presence of freshly baked cake or heavily creamed coffee. Cutting himself a slice of the sponge cake he would place it on a small plate and dollop enough creme to burn the tooth of any unfortunate to come to witness his one weakness in this world. His horrible sweet tooth would have his stomach cramped for days. But it was worth such a sinful delight. Sitting back he looked to the former Tsviet. " Yes well," the woman began. " I am Shelke. I am considered an expert in many things, my experience in net diving unmatched." She assured Ravus. " I know every name and face on Planet, but you are indeed what Rufus Shinra described." She listened to Ravus and nodded. " I am unsurprised. Here on our world it is called the Calamity from the Skies. She travels from world to world infecting it with her disease. That her infection has reached another world can mean one of two things: she has long since left your world or had left ours and found you, but neither case matters. It was only a matter of time she returned or found another world on her path to destruction, that is assuming it is one in the same. If it is a simple visit to the church should cure him, but that may not work." She looked to Rufus, devilish as usual this man was. " You are not of this world." She stated. " And in so what cures our Stigma, may not touch your Scourge, but I suspect the reason Rufus brought you to us is because he suspects there is a chance I could help you much like I helped a friend of mine..." Though she spoke with a blunt clarity there was a lifelessness to her spoken words, but she was not without sincerity. Rufus took a sip of his overly sweetened coffee and looked to the woman in blue. " You seem to understand my request clearly." His lips curled back, subtly, but it was clear he had expected her to accept the plea of help from another. She would move to stand. " Very well. I will ride with you and Rufus to that place, but my return there is both unwanted, and somewhat welcomed. I am curious as to what you have done with the place since." She looked to Ravus. He did indeed have something very much like the Stigma. ▲

[attr="class","parmcontent"] [attr="class","parmtitle"]The protector [attr="class","parmesan"] The former prince was quiet, listening to the words the seemingly young woman had to share with him and Rufus. He wasn't quiet sure what it was, but the young woman strangely reminded him of Gentiana. That expression she carried on her face, those eyes that seemed to have seen so much, her age didn't show. She was a mystery to the Ravus. The things she shared with him seemed to cause a shift in his expression, his eyes narrowed as he processed everything she was telling him. The two deceases were very similar how it seemed, maybe even the same, but she seemed certain that the cure she could offer might not work on his scourge. He was a traveler of the stars, not a part of this planet and what created the cure in the first place. Maybe he was also to far gone to be saved. What ever the case, he at least had to try. Rufus had given him the chance to find help and who was he not to accept it. After all, Rufus had also upgraded his arm and given him a chance to work together. This might be his last hope for freedom and he was willing to take it. He could not dishonor the name of his family any longer. When she approved to help, the ex-commander would rise from his seat and give her a slight bow in respect. “I, Ravus nox Fleuret, am thankful for your help, Miss Shelke.”
He turned to Rufus than, giving him a small nod of thanks as well, as he waited for the man to take the lead again. He had no idea what this place of purification would look like. He just hoped there was still a chance for him, after everything, to find peace.

After Rufus allowed himself to indulge on a few sweets while listening to the idle chatter between the two. Honestly had had little personal experience with the Tsviet himself as he left much of the communication between that group to the Turks or twisted amalgamation of scientists that still found themselves loyal to Shinra and not some mad scientist who was likely at the bottom of the sea with the corpses of his creations after the avatar of the Planet saw fit to nearly wipe them out as a people as a direct result of their meddling. For a moment the thought caused his fingers to tighten around the frail handle of his tea cup. The Tentacle Hound would raise their head and rest it upon the man's lap, yawning in an attempt to displace the stress that slowly swelled from his tensing posture. It was still a difficult memory to clear from his eyes even when they were open. The nightmares, though now infrequent, had yet to completely dissipate and were wont to play tricks on his mind even in broad daylight. A moment passed and his hearing returned from the numb ringing. Pale eyelids drifted up and revealed deep blue eyes which had a dim glimmer to them that could be mistaken for those touched by Makou. There were times where he still needed the stability of the occasional, diluted shot, but he should be able to last a few hours more. Canting his head he would set down the empty cup on the table before raising to his feet. The hellish beast of black fur would quickly trot around its master before standing at the ready. Rufus would delicately brush any wayward crumbs from his jacket before tightening any loose buttons. " Well I think now is a good time to start on our way." The executive would pull from his pocket a round watch that hung from a silver chain. With a delicate touch he would wind the small dial. " We should arrive in Nibelheim in a few hours. We will make a stop at Costa del Sol for refueling, but otherwise it will be a straight shot." Rufus was confident in the ability to manage his timetables. If nothing else he could use time to twist his enemies to his bidding, or overcome them completely. All he ever needed was just a little bit of time. Though sometimes he had none to spare. At the thought a smirk would pierce the edge of his lips as his brows shifted ever slightly. From the outside it would seem that Rufus had completed his task satisfactorily, but one close to Rufs knew that the expression was the deep satisfaction of a plan falling into place. Everything was on time. Tucking away the watch he would head out, followed by the Tsviet and corrupted. He did not lack pity for Ravus' plight, far from it. It was an empathy rendered from his own time under the anger of the Planet, the turmoil of its clawing hands reaching to save him, but doing far more harm than good. It was a means to an end, he felt at first, but came to realize it was not unlike a mother who threw herself over her child to protect them, but in the end, causing their death by suffocating them in her bosom. Yes, a mother. That was what Planet was to many of them, was it not? Even if many of them were adopted after the fact. It was still up to the dominant species to take care of her, and so Rufus will. Ravus may be a flea, threatening plague, but he could come to be a great boon of properly manipulated. Onto the helicopter waiting they would make their way towards Junon before making way across the ocean to Costa del Sol. Rufus was quiet for most of the ride, idling his time away on his phone. But this device was more than a means for communication. It was his greatest weapon. With it in hand he would send word to his secret operatives: the Turks. A crew of people scorn by their kin, taken in by the Company and given a second life, a purpose. Though his father saw fit to attempt and muzzle the hounds he had so quickly gathered up, unaware of the work it took to raise a beast: Rufus would take them and mold them into his prosperity. Reaching down the man would rest his hand upon the head of the ebon-dark hound whom sat between him and Shelke and Ravus. There were no gaps in Rufus' defense, despite his laid back disposition. At his hip was a deadly Shinra-brand weapon skillfully modified by his own hands. A beast at his front and an army of killers at the literal tips of his fingers. All it took was one press to dial the top dog of all his hounds. No longer were they bound by his father's muzzle. They stopped at Costa del Sol for a brief time. Though it did not seem necessary it was for Rufus. He wanted to show his guest and new ally the power of Shinra and what better than to display both their power of the land, sky and sea? Junon and Costa del Sol both proved the moving power of Shinra. Though, unlike in the past, days of present did not allow the command of armed super solders. No these days there marched a retinue of armed civilians and soldiers under the leadership of the World Regenesis Organization. These men and women chose to fight for the world. The helicopter soon came over Nibelheim. Perhaps it was ironic that Rufus found himself back at the source of all his problems. Though the town seemed quite average: a sleepy village nestled deep in the mountains: it still served as a coverup for many of Shinra's dark secrets. With a library of their achievements it had been the first target of Rufus' fury. Many of the library's books were digitized and archived at the new headquarters whilst much of the grunt work of rebuilding the shattered order of the states was left up to Reeve and the WRO. No Rufus continued to work in the background to ensure that no power was ever again used to bite at the hand that fed it. Spare the rod -- He cleared his throat as they came in for a landing outside of the city. Their goal was the old Shinra Mansion which had been maintained. Many of the machines and torture devices had been dismantled, but the most important keys remained: the terminal. They would need Shelke to make the dive, but it was Ravus who would be looking for the information he needed. Rufus would give the man open reign to all of Shinra's knowledge -- strictly controlled of course. The Tsviet knew just what to dredge up and what to avoid. ▲
