Mickey’s eyes remained closed while his little mousy stomach did flip flops. He was once again being hurled through the dark corridor and while for the most part he was used to the feeling, there was usually some sort of shock that came with landing in an unknown place. This time he landed on his feet, and a cool chill tickled at the back of his neck. He felt heavier like he was wearin his nobody cloak and there was something irritating and pointy in his mouth. He opened one eye first. ”Oh!” He exclaimed with hopefulness. ”I guess I do know where I am.” a light squeak of a chuckle sounded after he spoke to himself. He did indeed know where he was, he recognized the old spiral hill and the way the moon shined impossibly bright here and no matter where ya looked some sort of specter’s face would be looking back at you ready for a prank.
Halloween Town sure was spooky and shiny powerful king or not, Mickey could be spooked and though he’d laugh along in good spirit with friends in the Halloween mood, he personally did not prefer the wiles of Halloween. Tricks could easily get out of hand afterall. The irritating points in his mouth were from the costume he was wearing, a bit of magic to help him blend in a place like this. They were vampire teeth and wrapped around his back was a long black cape. As well his face was pallid like the ghostly white. Mr. Jack Skellington was an acquaintance of his anyway, so he didn’t have to work so hard to belong. The town was evidently doing pretty well too! Mickey had plenty of time to dust off and gain his bearings before any heartless appeared to bother him. From the nearby toonish grave stones rose two tall mummy heartless with long winding claws and three search light ghosts. ”Aw leave me alone would ya?” he told them sourly, his hands moving behind him and the shimmering kingdom key appearing in his stance.
He surged forward with amazing speed and he leapt upward toward one of the mummies in a spin, meeting it in the air and slashing it several times with his spin before landing on his feet into the center of the fray. This was not the part of Halloween that the mouse had any issues with. This was no trick.
