| | You've made it this far, to a World of Balance and Ruin. To return the treasure you have to face challenges. "A thief named Erik had his bounty stolen by another thief in town. He has hired you to go and reclaim his bounty and kill the other thief. You will be rewarded for returning the bounty item that was stolen." The first place you come upon is a chilly city called Narshe. Here much of the destruction that faced the world has been repaired, but the mountains that surround the mining town are still a trial to travel through for the ordinary man. Here you'll start the first leg of your journey. The old man at the inn has but one piece of advice: go around the mountains, not through them. All Erik could provide you was a direction: North and East.
How you'll choose to proceed is up to you and the party but you are limited to three days between replies. To repeat: you have three days after the last reply to make yours. Good luck Team. | |

And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain
Earlier that morning, Dieter had snatched yet another request from their Marked Mission Board, upon reading the request he’d accepted he was momentarily surprised – it wasn’t a typical monster subjugation or extermination. No, it was a request that had come from another world entirely, a fact that enticed the Dark Knight a bit more than usual. When he’d presented the request to one of the Moogle manning the Warp Crystals, they’d given him an uncertain look as they’d make of hasty modifications to their equipment. He’d paid them their requested fee before he’d pressed his hand against the Warp Crystal. What was once the sweltering heat of a desert had been replaced by a bone-biting chill. Unfortunately, his warp coordinates were a bit off and instead of ending up directly at the inn. He found himself closer to the Narshe Mine Entrance. He’d marveled at some of the machinery and piping the jutted from the ground, savoring the warmth emanating from the pipes in bursts of steam. He paid to mind to some of the strange looks directed towards him, certain it was no doubt attributed to his bizarre attire. While many of them were clad in thick bundles of leather and cloth, he was covered only by a sheer white robe. He’d ignored the biting cold as he’d approached one of inhabitants of the town and showed them the request he’d been given. They didn’t hesitate to direct him towards the Inn. Upon meeting with Eric and his makeshift clan for the duration of the request, they’d received two useful bits of information from their clientele and an old man. Once they’d exited the Inn, he’d turned to address his comrades. “ Are either of you familiar with the terrain??? He asked softly as he’d conjured up a small ball of amaranthine flame which he’d cupped between his hands, savoring the warmth it provided while he’d awaited an answer. word 300+ ● @kaiden @sabin ● delayed start
