Vaneera was back on the field doing her patrols as usual. Though it was shaping up to be a pretty uneventful day... No calls came in about any Heartless attacks, and she wasn't seeing anything out of the ordinary. It was a pretty nice change of pace to have a quiet day. Although that might be relatively speaking, considering it was a packed city... Something does interrupt that, however. Her phone starts ringing, and she answers it.
To her surprise, it was Lauriam, who suggested that they meet up with Skuld. During his stay at Blacknore's Facility, Vaneera took the time to familiarize him with the technology available in San Fransokyo, as well as how to get into contact with her and Skuld. Seems like he took the advice... As he had also contact Skuld beforehand. It looks like she decided the meeting location; Yachiyo's House.
Vaneera has introduce her Master to Yachiyo because she was a neutral party that didn't mind taking in guests so long as they would help out around the house. If you were going to stay in San Fransokyo for any amount of time, you needed a safe place to rest. In any case, after getting caught up with the message that Lauriam wished to send, she'd pocket her phone and start making her way over.
It's a short trip, and she knocks on the door, prompting Yachiyo to answer it and let her in. "Thanks for all this, Yachiyo. I know it's kind of putting you on the spot..."
Vaneera then states.
Yachiyo only softly smiles in response. "It's no trouble. It's nice to have some company in the house for a change."
With that brief exchange out of the way, Vaneera makes her way into the living room, where Skuld already is. The young Keybearer was still getting used to the dynamic between them, so... Out of muscle memory, Vaneera kneels.
"You called, Master?"
... Yeah, it was pretty clear to tell how Master Blacknore treated her, and what was expected of her.------ Skuld Lauriam Notes: Checked with both Skuld and Lauriam about these details, and they both gave the go ahead. If anything needs adjusting, let me know, you two!

He was on this world to, it seemed he had met Vaneera as well... But he hadn't given her any more info than that. They needed to all talk he said. He was always like that, more so after...
If she had to guess he was worried about her keyblade... Her light.... And the one raising her. Skuld had her own concerns as well but what was she to do? She coudnt just force Vaneera to cut off ties with the man. She wasn't even sure if that was the right move yet to begin with. She didn't know everything about that man yet-she certainly coudnt blame him for his GENERAL goal. But the way he was going about it... Was wrong to her. The way he was using Vaneera, manipulating her want to help people... Was wrong.
But she wasn't even sure if the man himself truely relized that was the case.
These thoughts ran through her mind as she, in her maid attire cleaned the place. It was well worth having a place to stay and lie her head while she stayed here. Yachiyo said she didn't have to wear the clothing if she didn't want to but Skuld insisted on it-one always should wear the proper equipment for their job after all. Besides her and the other keybearers changed outfits all the time back in her age! Some even wore mouse ears for some reason.
Why was this relevent? Well...
It meant that because Skuld saw no need to change before their meeting (she wasn't done cleaning anyway) Vaneera was currently bowing to her clad in that same attire.
...With Skuld acting as if nothing was different at all.
"Vaneera... I've told you before not to bow.. please don't do that.. I'm not your 'Master' like that, I'm our teacher, is Lauriam coming behind you? Well it's funny that y'all need to talk to me..."
Her tone became rather sickingly sweet at this point, with a half smile on her face. Truth be told she was kinda hoping for Lauriam to come in right in the middle of it-perfect capture. In the meantime Skuld would lean against the rooms TV (freshly cleaned) as she addressed her student.
"But that's right, what were you up to yesterday? Say... Around noon?"
She would give her student an opportunity to explain herself, Lauriam to if he was now present. Nodding the whole time as if she was buying whatever excuse they came up with a smile.
Then she simply turned nodded and turned on the TV, which was at that moment doing a second run through of their report on the events of yesterday. Namely two certain 'superheroes' using a 'giant white reaver' and 'golden armor of light'
And catching their resulting exhaustion after.
"Since you've both clearly recovered we can skip the healing phase...."
The poor duo, even in a maid uniform Skuld was intimidating.
"Want to run the actual truth by me now?"
She leaned forward, on her recently used mop, with a glare pinned on then both.

Lauriam had used the day to recover from the fight and everything else. Once he had felt much better, he had left the facility, but he had not left the world yet. Everything he had learned that day had kept him worried. The girl... Skuld needed to know about this. He remembered their deal, of course, but this was something he just couldn't ignore. He had also thought about what Vaneera had said to him about being honest to his friend and even though he was not feeling very good about it, he had to tell her. So he used the phone he had been given and told both Skuld and her student to meet up with him.
Skuld was not new to the concept of this world and offered a specific place for them to talk. Well, he didn't know who that Yachiyo was, but if Skuld trusted this person, than so would Lauriam for now. He had been a bit late, arriving after Vaneera to the decided spot, the Dandelion greeting the person the house belonged to with a little bow, before he would enter. He didn't even have to reach the living room to hear that Skuld and Vaneera were already talking and Skuld... she sounded angry.
She had caught wind of the attack yesterday? She was demanding the truth from the girl... Sighing, Lauriam would step into the door, looking at the two girls with a little smile on his face.
“Skuld, please. I.... what the-?”
He wanted to get the anger of her at least a bit away from the girl, however he was startled by the clothes his friend was wearing. She looked like a.. well... never mind. He blinked for a moment, seeming to scan her body.
“Eh. Well. I won't ask.”
He moved over the the couch than, settling down in it carefully and gesturing for Vaneera and Skuld to take a seat as well. Lauriam could tell that this was something he needed to do gently. Skuld was worried about them already. The dandelion didn't know she was keeping check of things that happened in the news in this world. He should have known better, darn it
“I know you are upset, Skuld. I-”
He opened his mouth to say something, but quickly shut it again. There went his chance to explain it without her being on edge already.
The man would wait for the two to have seated themselves, before he would continue, looking over to Vaneera however before he would start.
“I.. am sorry. Neither me nor Vaneera didn't want to worry you. But before you go off on her for using her powers like this... had she not used it, than many people could have died.”

Skuld first begins by remind Vaneera that she doesn't have to do that. It prompts the young Keybearer to slowly stand back on her feet. "Yes, M-, ah... Skuld.", Vaneera corrects herself.
It still took a bit of getting used to, since she really was nothing like Blacknore; who expected respect and professionalism. All Skuld wanted was to be a mentor, but also a friend. It was a bit of a strange concept for the red haired girl to wrap her head around, but she did her best to respect her teacher's wishes.
... There was a bit of a warning flag raised, though. Skuld's voice suddenly becoming sickeningly sweet. As she asks what Vaneera got up to yesterday. She works fast on coming up with an explanation!
"Oh, nothing too crazy. I did some shopping, picked up some new games. Got some of Motet's favorite candies -- just kind of a slow day in general!"
Hopefully Skuld wouldn't see anything wrong with that explanation, especially since Vaneera was not injured, nor was that armor still present... But uh, as soon as Skuld turns on the TV, and she witnesses the news footage covering everything that happened...
Lauriam showed up at just the perfect time to realize what was happening. He was a little taken aback by the Maid Uniform -- and, come to think of it. Vaneera thought that was pretty odd too! But she didn't have much of a chance to comment on that right now.
To her surprise, Lauriam does back her up though, saying that the use of her power did save many lives there. That does encourage Vaneera to then speak up as well.
"I also didn't lose control! In fact, I was doing everything I could to keep it perfectly in check! I was even able to do that well after the battle.", she pauses for a moment, and then smiles sheepishly.
"I also saved your friend? Did I do good?"
... She really was trying a 'puppy dog eyes' tactic on Skuld....------ Lauriam Skuld
