I am coming for you. Please wait for me.
It was night in the city, but as many other big cities, San Fransokyo never slept. People were partying and enjoying their evening, some just coming back from a long day of work and others already back on the job. The police were always busy in a city like this and with the heartless roaming around, they even had much more on their hands these days than normal. The sound of cars and people filled the main part of the city, as usual for the time of day. However, a explosion at the crossroad of the main street suddenly filled the air around the center, screams of many people following as they started to run.
There was a horde of heartless, flying around through town and bursting through everything that wasn't drilled to the ground enough. People started running as the dark mass of heartless moved around the plaza, two more towers seeming to join up with it. There had been the sound of combat on one of the roofs before, but it had been drowned by the sounds of the city the whole time. Things got out of hand... The mass circled the plaza at one spot, seeming to try and gather around something, before a sudden flash of darkness shot out of the wave, a strange giant creature suddenly rising and lashing out at the creatures, a set of four wings flapping as it tried to fend them off.
One hour earlier, Lauriam had visited the town, since he had heard that they had rising problems with the heartless. It was not his main objective to try and help other worlds, but it had been way to easy to track them down, the moment he entered San Fransokyo. It first he had no problems finding and destroying them, but his affords had not been unnoticed by the other heartless in the area. They had already been so many, that they had decide to attack together to take him down and on a matter of half an hour, the enemies number had risen to an amount Lauriam had never seen before. They were simple shadows, but more than hundreds! He couldn't just run with this amount of heartless so he at least tried to destroy them. They proved to be to much...
He had been badly injured and knocked of the tower, landing directly in the main street of the city. The Heartless followed... He had tried to keep them away from the people, but now they were going wild. He couldn't defeat them alone... and with his body having reached such a state, his other power had awakened to protect him. His nobody had just appeared without him summoning it and it tried to defend it's master from the heartless that swarmed them both.
People were running in panic from the white giant creature and the black mass that moved through the air around it. The police was also on their way, but they didn't know that the Specter was not their enemy. This was bad....
Lauriam was under the giant nobody at the moment, bleeding from his head and trying to recover from his injuries. This situation was more than dangerous. Should the police attack the nobody, than it would surely attack them as well. Unless, Lauriam is able to stop it.
Lauriam is under attack by 3 Demon Towers!
The Specter has been summoned and attacks all that damage it
Lauriam is in critical condition

It didn't take long for the girl's phone to start buzzing about the latest activity. She'd calmly pull it out to look at what was just sent her way, and sure enough... Heartless. A lot of them. Blacknore's facility really did keep great tabs on the latest incidents. This was the biggest attack yet, from what she was able to glean from the report. All the more reason to get there fast. Vaneera pockets her phone and starts running. Police wouldn't be able to handle this kind of threat by themselves, even one Heartless would be a bit much for them.
Fortunately, she had gotten pretty used to navigating the city. A benefit from being on her patrols so often. Finding the quickest path to the site was rather like second nature for her. She certainly showed up in dramatic fashion as well, literally leaping into action before then making use of her strongest technique, vanishing mid-air to then re-appear next to one of the Demon Towers and striking it while confusion still wracked the foes. Heartless didn't really rout in the traditional sense, but you could still catch them off-guard.
Vaneera was doing just that, just when it would wind itself up to defend against the new attacker, they would vanish in shor order, striking again in their blind spot. This would repeat several times before Vaneera uses one last teleportation to get a little bit of distance between the Demon Towers and herself, and also to place herself between them and Lauriam -- she hadn't ever seen anything like that Specter before, but it didn't appear to be hostile at the moment. More importantly, she wanted to focus on that injured person.
In the brief window available to herself, she would raise her Keyblade to cast a healing spell; namely Curaga. The target was Lauriam. "Hey, looks like I made it just in time!"
A distinctly young and feminine voice states. Though it isn't long before the clearly inexperienced Keyblade Wielder is now on the receiving end of an assault from the Heartless. She at least catches it just in time to react, casting Fire to stall the Shadows somewhat. But when they were all bunched up like this...
Well, they still broke through, albeit with less damage than they would have otherwise done. It still sent her skidding back slightly, impressively she does manage to stay on her feet, however.
"Alright... Strong in numbers. Good to know."
The red-haired girl would comment mainly to herself, and assume proper stance. Right now, she couldn't pay attention to Lauriam or the Specter. So she only hoped that her magic helped.
One could also hope that with the shadows distracted, the Police might focus instead on evacuating people from the immediate area, instead of getting involved right off the bat.------ Lauriam Actions: 1 - Strike Blitz @ Demon Tower A 2 - Curaga @ Lauriam 3 - Fire @ Demon Tower B Cooldowns: Strike Blitz (0/3) Curaga - (0/3) Fire (0/1)

Why had this nobody appeared without his order? He was never in a situation like this before since he had control over it, but it was never summoned without him calling to it. Was it a protection-mechanism it had? It had always been strange that this nobody in particularly was so bond to him, but Marluxia had never questioned it. He was.. forgetting something. Something.. important... His surroundings had been shifting in front of his eyes, unable to focus. The hit on his head had really gotten him good. There wasn't much he could do. Also, his body felt unable to move correctly, like something invisible was holding him down. He knew this sensation from when he had summoned the Specter in Castle Oblivion, but he needed to use his body as conductor to control this massive Nobody. Right now, it didn't feel like HE was the one in control here.
The mass of blurred colors in front of him didn't make it easy to keep track of what was happening, but a colorful flash of red had entered his vision, followed by the sound of fighting. Someone had come to his aid? The Specter above him was fending off the towers still that decided to directly attack, but it had noticed that something else was attacking them now. It was getting close to it's Master, the creature seeming to be angered by the stranger's presence. It saw that it was at least defending his Master, or tried to, when one of the towers attacked Vaneera and tried to push her back.
The creature tried to slice one of the tower's with it's massive scythe, the blade cutting through and splitting it apart, but the heartless that were left reformed it, though it was much smaller now and had less strength than before.
Lauriam had felt the Curaga-Spell, his vision slowly snapping back into reality with his head-injury having mostly healed, just like the rest of his cuts. He carefully tried to sit up, now eyeing the young woman in front of him with his blue eyes. A keyblader? Here? He thought keybladers are a rare sight these days... This girl was trying to protect him.
He tried to get up, but failed to do so. “It's to many of them. They will tear you apart...”

Vaneera had a little bit of a chance to take proper stock of the situation; that massive creature with the scythe seemed to be hostile to the Heartless. While she had questions about that, it'd be something to tackle later. For right now, she needed to deal with the enemies in front of her... Still, she had a chance to look back and assess how Lauriam was doing too. Looks like his critical injuries were taken care of, but he still couldn't summon the strength to move. Man, they must have done a real number on him...
What he has to say is also not lost on her. True enough, there were way more Heartless than usual, and if she slipped up even once, that could be it for her... And she didn't have the help of Terra, Skuld, or even Motet this time. Vaneera takes a deep breath.
"... Yeah, looks like it's a pretty tough situation. So it looks like I'm going to have to use that."
Vaneera's Keyblade would then dissipate, and she extends her left arm out. Upon doing so, it became enveloped in what appeared to be pure light at first. But once you focused on it, the shape and material became apparent enough. It looked like glowing silver armor, almost as if it were crafted out of metal and Light itself.
"Sorry, Skuld.", she'd think to herself.
Vaneera would then snap the fingers of her armored hand, and as soon as she did that, a pillar of light bursts from the ground, completely enveloping one of the Demon Towers in the process! Even with their massive numbers, such a concentrated attack with their opposing element was simply too much to bear. Once the light died down to normal levels... One of those Demon Towers was gone.
Of course, there was also something that looked like crystallized light left in the place of the Heartless, which then flew towards the red-haired Keyblade wielder, and pierced into her body. Though it left no wounds, and only a light grunt signals that there was any pain involved. It looked like she was focusing intensely right now.
In fact... Though her left arm was extended outward, her right hand was reaching over, grasping around the elbow of her left arm. It gave one the impression that she was trying to prevent that armor from spreading across her entire body. Which seemed to be a little difficult, given that she was taking in what appeared to be Lux -- and yet very much something that was not like Lux...
In either case. Vaneera begins to take aim on another one of the Demon Towers, and takes another deep breath...
"Focus... Use just enough of it..."
She muttered to herself. Though the attack was powerful, it seemed to have a considerable charge-up time, especially when you factor in that it looked like she was trying not to lose control of that power...------ Lauriam Actions: 1 - Lord of Light's Power (Plot) @ Demon Tower B Cooldowns: Strike Blitz (1/3) Curaga (1/3) Fire (1/1)

I am coming for you. Please wait for me.
The girl didn't seem to be completely new to being a keyblader, but something about her felt off to Lauriam. Her aura was so bright, it was hurting almost. It reminded him of Ventus' aura in away. He started to form a theory that she would prove soon enough. This girl was not going to back down by that information, seeming determined to defend this world and it's people.... it reminded him of when he was younger, but he quickly shook off that memory. He wasn't that old... well, not body-wise. She let her weapon disappear, seeming to prepare something and Lauriam was almost blinded by the flash of light that followed shortly after from her arm. He had covered his eyes, trying to adjust them to the light in front of him now.
This was something he had not seen before. Her one arm was covered in armor that looked like it was made of Lux, the essence of light, that the Keybladers in the old times had gathered. He had not seen Lux in any of the worlds in this time before and it was actually worrying him. Was this a hidden power of the keyblade? He focused on her body however, the feeling from before seeming to have not been a case of paranoia. The light she held in her body was much stronger than that of a normal human. She was trying to keep it under control and use it as a weapon against the heartless. It was effective, yes, but it seemed to hurt her as well.
He tried to get up again, able to bring himself into a sitting position. The Specter had also been blinded by the strong light from the attack, trying to rub it's eyes so it could see again. One tower had been destroyed, but the other two seemed to become restless now and more aggressive. On tower saw the distracted Nobody and assaulted it directly, smashing into it's chest and trying to wrap itself around it. The Specter tried to fend them off, flapping it's wings violently and causing a storm to gather around it, heartless being pulled from the tower and thrown around wildly though the air. The knock to the chest of the Nobody seemed to have had a direct impact on Lauriam, his body having been send back down to the ground by it, the man holding his chest. He moved up his hand, trying to order the Specter to vanish, but it didn't seem to work. What was going on? Why was it not listening?
I will get strong enough to carry you on my back.
What..?
Just you wait!
Who is... saying this? Did the hit on my head mess with my brain?
You are pathetic...
?!
You can't even control your own lesser Nobody? What a shame....
Had the hit on his head caused some trauma? Why was he hearing voices?
The other Tower was going to aim directly at Vaneera now, seeing the danger that came from her. If her weapon wasn't ready, than she would get in trouble. Lauriam shook his head, trying to clear his mind and aimed his hand at the Tower, casting a spell he could manage. It might not be enough, but he had to try. A few lasers appeared around him, hanging in the air and taking aim, before they shot out to hit the incoming tower, hoping it would lessen the damage it might cause on the woman.

Oh... Well, her attack worked. But she failed to account for the fact that Lauriam and the Specter would be blinded by it. It was a little bit much to take in. It was a little different from Vaneera's perspective, but that was no excuse for her to forget that not everyone was prepared for that kind of thing. Still, she didn't have much time to think about that, given that she was trying to get the next attack ready, as well as keep all of that Light practically begging to burst forth in it's full force.
It also made her a sitting duck. While one of the Demon Towers was focused on the Specter, the other set it's sights right on Vaneera, and was intent on finishing the job before she could eliminate them. Fortunately, Lauriam had recovered enough to be able to give some assistance. While he wasn't in the condition to stop the Demon Tower entirely, he was able to damage it, and slow it down just enough for Vaneera to prepare her own response... Her stance didn't change, but she closed her eyes and lowered her head slightly.
Once it seemed like the raging tower might overtake her, she would raise her head and open her eyes, as the Heartless then collide with a Barrier, warding them off just long enough to do what she needed to do.
"Brace yourselves, I'm attacking again!"
She'd shout out a warning, and then snap her fingers, as another pillar of light shoots up from beneath the Demon Tower that was focusing on her. Vaneera would have liked to help the Specter... But she couldn't afford to rush this. One step at a time, because she was really struggling to contain this power now. This was the longest she had maintained it without it taking over...
And just like with the previous Tower that had vanished, more of that crystallized Lux would appear, and pierce into the red-haired girl's body. Same as before, no noticeable injury or blood... But she lets out another small grunt in response.
Still, she was disguising the pain well. As she simply begins to adjust her stance, slowly and carefully turning to face the remaining Demon Tower that was distracted by the Specter. And so begins another process of charging it up...
"Just one more time..."
She'd mutter to herself yet again.
"Gotta aim it carefully."
She then affirms to herself, narrowing her eyes as she focuses on the remaining foes.------ Lauriam Actions: 1 - Reflect against Demon Tower A's Attack

WARNING: THIS POST CONTAINS KHUX HINTS
I am coming for you. Please wait for me.
Lauriam had not seen such a display of the power of light for some time. He had seen how Sora would use spells and powers similar in strength, but this was different. Lauriam knew when someone was acting and this girl was hiding the pain she experienced from this. She was hurting herself, most likely reaching her limits with these attacks already. An other Tower was pulverized by the power she held in that armor. Lauriam was happy he could have least helped her to some extend with this. The ex-keyblader felt rather useless right now, since he didn't feel like he was actually the one calling the shots as he usually did. Lauriam had been able to react this time thanks to Vaneeras warning and covered his eyes to not be blinded again and act faster, hopefully.
The Specter had done the same with one of it's wings this time, immediately moving it out again to slap some heartless away from it's body. Those that had been thrown off had started crawling it. The wind had caused good damage on the last tower, but what Vaneera did now was a bad decision on her behalf. She aimed her next attack at the tower that was moving around the Specter, meaning she was also aiming at IT.
Lauriam felt that something bad was going to happen and acted. He managed to get up and out of instinct grabbed Vaneera's armored arm, trying to stop her from using the blast. “No! Don't!”
What was going on with that nobody? It's yellow eyes suddenly started to glow when it saw the attack, however aiming it's attention to the moving target around it. It suddenly extended it's wings, energy of high level starting to gather in them, before they started to gather above it. Lauriam could feel how he started to sweat. He extended his other arm at the Specter, trying to order it to stop.
“Why aren't you listening to me?!”, he actually said his own thoughts out loud without thinking. It was preparing a deadly spell on the Tower, but that amount of negative energy could be to much.
He looked at Vaneera, hoping she would understand what the expression on his face meant. It was pure horror. “Dismiss your weapon!”
The Specter would actually go THAT far to destroy this Demon Tower right now? He knew this was a dangerous situation, but this was to much. There were people in this city! The impact of the spell would only hit the tower, but it didn't feel right to Lauriam... This Spell was pure evil in his mind. He would only use it in life-threatening situations... come to think of it, doesn't the Specter think he is in danger? It's.. acting out of protecting him.

Vaneera was trying to aim her attack very carefully... Her target was moving, and it was very close to something that she considered to be a non-hostile entity. However. Her intentions seem to have been misunderstood by the Specter, and Lauriam acted to diffuse the situation as best as he could, trying to warn her about it, and trying to order the creature to stop. It was capped off with an order to dismiss her weapon.
Yeah, that wouldn't be a bad plan, but... It wasn't quite that simple.
"... Okay, it just thinks I'm going to attack it, right?"
She'd ask. This was going to be risky, but she'd adjust her strategy on the fly. Vaneera would move to pull away from Lauriam, and break out into a run at the Demon Tower. However, she was being very purposeful in her movement, trying to approach the enemy in such a way that the Specter could understand that she was not trying to approach it, but rather, the Heartless near it.
Hopefully, her plan works long enough for it to consider the implications of this... The built-up charge was dispersed, but that had the side effect of spreading the armor a little more throughout her body.
"Finish it fast."
Vaneera would think to herself, as she then dives into the mass of Heartless, and through them. And in so doing, she'd do a rather nice job of getting their attention onto her. The Demon Tower would turn it's attention away from the Specter, and focus on Vaneera for the time-being...
Now, pull it a distance away, she'd begin to back off in a slow, purposeful way, trying to focus enough to keep the armor from building fully across herself in the process. Though she didn't have the time to do another big attack like she was doing before. Make the best of things, right?
She'd begin to hop lightly off of the ground, trying to psyche herself into some kind of battle focus. The Demon Tower swarms around her, and with her arms and legs now armored... Well, she was punching and kicking at each of the Shadows circling her.
Risky. Way too risky.
But, she wasn't going to stop fighting. It was the only way she could think of to prevent this from escalating any further. Hopefully, it all goes off without a hitch.------ Lauriam Actions: 1 - Cancels her charged attack 2 - Attempts to break free of Lauriam's hold 3 - After drawing the final Demon Tower away, she engages it in melee combat Cooldowns: Strike Blitz (3/3) Curaga (3/3) Reflect (1/2)

I am coming for you. Please wait for me.
Vaneera was going to far... This situation was no longer a scene of normal combat with heartless. This was complete chaos! Lauriam didn't just want her to stop the attack but also to get her out of here and save her from any more damage she could take. The girl thankfully listened to him, when he told her to dismiss the weapon but she decided to distract the tower now, so the Specter could have a clean shot. Didn't she know how dangerous this was? She knew how to use a keyblade and this armor, but she couldn't have been trained for long. Lauriam shook his head, trying to stop her, but he couldn't grab her in time. “NO! You don't understand!”
The Specter saw that she had stopped his attack thanks to it's Master and how she rushed in to distract the tower. The Nobody seemed to understand what Vaneera was telling it now, but it couldn't stop the spell anymore. Doom would hit the girl as well like this. Lauriam felt that the current state of alert from the Specter was fading and immediately acted. He pointed his hand at it and gave the order, before Lauriam covered and braced himself for the spell.
The Specter acted, it's long tentacles shooting out to grab Vaneera and pull her out of the heartless, moving it's wings around her than to shield her from the incoming inpact. The gathered Energy exploded shortly after, slamming into the last Tower and tearing it and all the heartless closeby apart. Dust was thrown into the air, creating a cloud of smoke that covered the whole plaza. It took a moment before it would slowly clear again, the Specter slowly letting go of Vaneera now and setting her on the ground, before it would unfold it's wings again, flapping the dust away carefully.
Lauriam moved his arms from his head, looking around for a moment. The Heartless were gone... it seemed they had destroyed all of them. Thank the light... This had been the craziest fight Lauriam had ever witnessed. Seeing that the danger was gone, the Specter would disappear in a flash of petals, Lauriam groaning and falling flat on his back again. God, he was exhausted... this had been a lot for his nerves. He hoped the girl was alright...
He could hear sirens in the distance, drawing closer. The Police must be on their way to secure the plaza. This must have felt like a bombing to them.

So far, so good. The Specter seemed to understand that she wasn't trying to attack it now. Although the plan might have worked a little too late, as it didn't seem to be capable of stopping the magic it was preparing now. Well, that's fine. Bear the brunt of it, she could take it! That was what was going through her head as she continued battling the Shadows that almost seemed endless. It was so easy taking them down before, but it was more than a little difficult under these circumstances.
However, the situation rapidly changes as she feels herself grabbed by tentacles and suddenly and swiftly pulled out of the fray. She only has a little bit of time to process that she was quite literally pulled out of the fire before a massive spell hits, and clears out the remaining Heartless. Soon enough, she's set safely down onto the ground. The Specter fades away into little more than petals, and Lauriam drops onto the ground...
Yeah... Vaneera was now doing her best to stay standing, remain focused, and control that power of hers. But it was proving to be a little bit much with how much it had spread. The red-haired girl drops onto her knees, and clenches her teeth together. Right now, she looked a lot like a dam that was about to burst... Yet, miraculously, she was holding it. Even if barely.
The armor stopped spreading. But she couldn't get it to recede, to disappear just as she had willed it to appear.
"That could have gone better... Heh... At least we're not hurt, though."
She'd manage between ragged breaths. The battle would have been exhausting enough, but this immediately after it? That made it more than just a little difficult for her. But she was still very much aware of her surroundings, and the fact that she could hear sirens in the distance... Yeah, makes sense the Police would be on their way after getting everyone evacuated, and all the roads closed off.
They'd probably be looking for survivors, and possible culprits. Well, she could handle that, and she could vouch for Lauriam too. So long as she could get this armor of hers back under wraps...

I am coming for you. Please wait for me.
Lauriam looked at the sky above him as he lay there, trying to breath. God, he felt awful. Not only, because he had to use so much energy for all of this. It shouldn't have gone out of hand like this. He was no longer badly wounded, but he was in bad shape when it came to his energy. He needed to fin a place and rest up as soon as possible, but he was still in a position that proved to be problematic. He didn't know how the police here would act on them. He had tried to help, but they would surely ask questions and maybe even get them both arrested. By the way...
He could hear raged breathing. The girl. He carefully tried to sit up, looking over to where the girl was. She was still in that armor and she was struggling with it. She... couldn't control it? A worrying thought.. He felt it to be his duty to help this young keyblader right now. She must be as exhausted at him, but Lauriam doesn't know when to stop, like many other Dandelions. Maybe it was his sense of justice from back when he was in her age.
“... you are lying about being hurt.. It's not physically, but I see what this does to you.” He shook his head slightly. “You shouldn't have gone this far.. if you can't control it.”
His eyes made out the lights of the police cars getting close. This was the last spell he could use today... Sighing, he moved up his hand. “Here goes nothing.. This might feel weird.”
Using a dark corridor with someone else was a new thing for him. He usually teleported alone, but he had to be creative right now. He managed to call upon the spells power, a dark portal swallowing them both and spitting them out a the beach close to the red giant Bridge outside of the city. At least they didn't have to worry about the police finding them here. He sand was soft and the landing didn't hurt to much. Lauriam hoped she could get her problem under control. There was nothing he could do now to help her, at least with any of his magic. His mana was dry like a desert now.

It looks like Lauriam caught on... She was a bit curious as to what he was thinking might help in this situation, as he sits up and looks in her direction. He remarks that she was lying about not being in pain, and then adds that she shouldn't have used the power if it was so difficult for her to control. In response, she just grins and gives a thumbs up. "That's the thing about a trump card, though! You can only use them once!"
Yeah... She was definitely trying to make it so that he didn't have to worry about her. Still, what followed next was the opening of a Corridor of Darkness, which sends them both on a quick trip through the odd plane, and finally they would end up on a familiar beach with a view of a grand bridge. It didn't take the red-haired girl too long to settle into the sand.
She was still doing her part to get the armor back into check.
"Hey... Quick thinking!"
She'd then comment, in the middle of all of her focusing and struggling.
"Thought only Heartless could do that thing, though... Wouldn't happen to be missing a Heart, right?"
She'd jest. Indicating that even if he was missing one, she clearly didn't care. One had to give her credit, she seemed experienced at putting up a brave face... Probably made a bad habit of doing crazy things like that and worrying the people close to her.
"Man, hopefully Master Skuld doesn't catch wind of this..."
She'd then say softly.------ Lauriam

Lauriam didn't know this girl for long, but he had already analyzed her throughout this whole fight. She was a person that didn't want to worry others by cracking jokes. She was also still a novice with the keyblade and how to use her powers correctly, which also meant that she might have a teacher? Her body was filled with a lot of light as well. Something to worry about later though... For now he just wanted to rest. He settled down in the sand, lying on his back now and watching the stars as he tried to breath normally and relax his tensed muscles. Quick thinking? Well...
“This was not my first fight.. though I have to say, this one was one of the more critical ones on my list....” The other ones he meant had caused in his 'death' … not memories he was fond off. He turned his head, looking at the girl as she still seemed to struggle with the armor. He hoped she would be alright...
Her joke about him having no heart made him frown, having struck a cord with him. “... I... Once have...”, he would murmur slightly, not wanting to go into more details about this. An other thing he didn't like talking about.. must be his lucky day today.
"Man, hopefully Master Skuld doesn't catch wind of this..."
Wait, what? He blinked for a moment, checking if he had just misheard that. “..Skuld...? Skuld is your Master?”
She of all people would teach someone? And he happened to run into that person? Well, this was some turn of events. “Skuld... is a friend of mine.”, he chuckled slightly, shaking his head. “Did she not teach you.. to not abuse such power, without knowing how to control it correctly? Seems like I have to have a word about it with your Master.”
He cracked a joke. In his condition. Well, it seems the old Lauriam was still in there.

Not his first fight, huh? Yeah, she could buy that. He was really pushing himself beyond his limits. Seems like his body had finally tapped out, though. Not that Vaneera had much room to say anything there, considering...
"Well. Guess our respective experience saw us both through all that, then."
She would reply. Slowly, it was becoming easier for her to deal with the armor. She still wasn't making it recede, but she was struggling less with it. Now, she was just admiring the view of the bridge while she talked with Lauriam. She seemed more steady now, and her breathing was slowly becoming stable. More like what it should naturally be. Still, it wasn't lost on her that that he remarked that he did lose his Heart once...
"Yeah? Well, it sounds like you found it again, so... Take good care of it."
Vaneera would then state softly. Hopefully showing that she didn't mean anything ill by what she had said earlier. It was kind of nice to have things quiet after all the chaos that was going on earlier... Gives them both a chance to breathe. They definitely needed that.
Although, the mood would kind of turn once Lauriam asked about Skuld, and confirmed that he knew her... Along with a lecture about not using her power, and perhaps having to speak to Skuld about that.
Vaneera froze up, remembering how the Plaza looked... And then she looked at her still armored hands. The only sound coming out of her sounded almost like she was being choked.
Eventually... She does start speaking again, though.
"... Please don't tell Master Skuld. The last time I did this... She didn't even yell at me. She just crossed her arms, frowned, and glared at me -- while I was training! She didn't say anything at all, she was just staring disapprovingly!"
Yeah... Nail right on the head, she definitely did stuff like this all the time, and worried people around her.------ Lauriam

What an interesting girl she was. Skuld must have had a reason to take Vaneera under her wings. Well, he could tell that she had potential, but she didn’t seem to know when to stop. And she also seemed to rather lie about her condition than to accept her limits. That was dangerous… The girls remark about his abilities and his heart made him go quiet for a moment. Huh… in a way he wasn’t that different to her, actually. He also went over his limits many times, but it felt like this had been a more recent flow of his.. No that wasn’t correct either. It was an old problem that had returned. His nobody wasn’t this rash to act. Was having a heart so different?.... Yes. Yes it was. Vaneera seemed to be recovering. This conversation was helping her relax and distracted her from the current problem she had to deal with. It was helping her and that made Lauriam sigh in relief. However his remark about Skuld seemed to have him her more than he had thought. She was stuttering, telling him about Skulds way of teaching her not to do that. He was quiet for a moment before he would suddenly burst out laughing, putting an arm over his eyes to hide the tears that came to those blue orbs. He was crying from laughter, not sadness. He hasn’t experienced this for a very long time. “Well, let’s make deal than.” He would start once he had calmed down again. “I will not tell her about your use of Lux today… and you won’t tell her what you saw today. It would only make her worry about me even more.” He removed the arm from his eyes, letting it fall to the ground next to him, watching the stars in the sky once more. The city lights had drowned out most of them, but now he had a perfect view of the lights. “Nobodies are just as dangerous as Heartless… if she knew I had control over such a giant one, she would surely become restless. It is not natural.. “ He turned his head to her again, looking her over once more. “… are you going to be okey? That armor.. It shouldn't hurt you so much.. Your light is very strong. One would go as far to say 'out of balance'.” Vaneera
