[attr="class","tgg"] [attr="class","TheGreatGatsby"] 自由自在 to be free; completely unrestrained. He had set the Gummi Ship down deep within the dark woods surrounding his destination. His attempt to find a decent spot to land hadn't actually gone so well though, having knocked down several of the trees in the process of parking the Gummi Ship. He wasn't exactly the best pilot within the universe and he knew it was a skill he needed to work on. You couldn't really blame him though this was only his third time flying and it didn't exactly come with an instruction manual. Until he actually got better at flying this thing he'd have to look into getting an auto pilot function installed. Assuming he had enough munny set aside for something like that. Luckily his ship did come with a clocking device installed. Kaiden made sure to turn it on before he jumped out of the cockpit and onto the forest floor.
He remembered one of his clients having mentioned that he wasn't supposed to mess with the affairs of other worlds too much. In addition that he wasn't supposed to let the fact other worlds existed get out. Which might prove to be a little difficult all things considered. Heartless were starting to pop up everywhere these days, and they always proved to be troublesome. Kaiden knew from experience just how dangerous those creatures could be. They were after all strong enough to eat away at the heart of a world. His right hand balled into a fist as the memories of everything that had been taken away from him flowed into his mind. He took a deep breath and quickly tossed such memories aside.
He was traveling around to forget about his past, to grow stronger, and he couldn't do that just standing in the woods letting anger creep up on him. He advanced further into the forest clearing away tree branches from his path as he did so. Everything looked the same as he walked. It was hard to tell if he was making any progress towards the large castle he had seen while approaching the world to land. It honestly seemed as though he'd be walking through the dense woods forever.
Luckily that wasn't the case. The large and imposing gothic castle slowly entered into Kaiden's view. He had to stop himself from moving just to take in the full site of the castle. It was impressive and very well made. It reminded him of something he might have found on his own world of Castundana. He didn't spend much time taking in the sights though. He advanced further towards the castle, stopping directly in front of its large iron gate. His hands pushed themselves against the metal gate but found that they refused to budge. Whoever owned this castle clearly didn't want anyone getting inside.
"Unfortunately that isn't going to stop me." he muttered as he bent his knees, and quickly pushed up from the ground with enough force to launch himself over the gate. He came crashing down onto stone courtyard with a thud. Normally he wouldn't bother with breaking and entering but he had been hired to do something within the castle. Which meant he couldn't let something like breaking the law get in his way. "Now then let's see if I can't find a way into this castle." if the gate was locked the front door would likely be as well. Didn't old castles like this have secret ways in hidden all over the place? If they did Kaiden was certainly about to find out. Boredom was a quaint affliction, one really only meant for the uncertain. The idea that a being as powerful as herself would ever be found in a lull of any sort seemed unthinkable, yet hear the Mistress of All Evil materialized, the darkest gargoyle among the overlooking circle in the courtyard. She’d been to this particular castle before. She’d stolen its princess leaving behind the cursed beast that the entire crumbling tomb belonged to wallowing in her wake. She was surprised to find that on his will alone he was able to follow her to another world without so much as a foolish gummi block to help him. That of course was long since water under the bridge. What she did know about this Beast was that he was prone to bouts of anger and self-doubt, perfect for manipulation. With this in mind the Sorceress arrived on his figurative door step with the wicked intent to procure herself a new heartless lapdog. Pete was…well Pete really. He was loyal, but he was an imbecile. There were certain things he was good for and a vast plethora of things he was not.
Maleficent did not expect to find herself second to enter the courtyard. With curiosity she let her eyes settle in narrow snake-like slits upon what appeared to be a young boy. He was already at the portico attempting to find his way into the castle. She couldn’t have asked for a better offering. Fully materialized, Maleficent put on her most charming ruby smile and moved herself with the occasional click of her staff upon the cobblestone. Diablo she lifted and allowed to fly off into the night to watch over the courtyard. If she needed him, he’d come.
”You are having some trouble with the locks it seems. I can help you if you wish.” she offered, her voice coy and silken toward the stranger.

[attr="class","tgg"] [attr="class","TheGreatGatsby"] 自由自在 to be free; completely unrestrained. He was distracted when she had made herself known. Appearing before him without so much as sound, it was only when she spoke that Kaiden truly noticed her. The sound of her voice caught him off guard and he was ashamed to admit he almost jumped back. Luckily he managed to keep himself composed enough to avoid looking like a fool in front of the stranger. His yellow eyes went to work sizing up the woman. She was taller than him, the hat(or were those horns?) atop her head adding further height. Something about her made him feel comfortable and uncomfortable at the same time. It was unsettling. "You can help? Does that mean you have the keys or something?" it had just dawned on him that that perhaps this was her castle. If so then he was about to be in a lot of trouble. He'd need to play it careful just in case. Didn't want to end up in a situation he couldn't walk away from.
Kaiden folded his arms against his chest, shifting slightly uncomfortably as he stared up at her. "How exactly did you get here? I didn't see anyone else when I was landing." oh crap, he probably shouldn't have said that. This world didn't look like it was advanced enough to know about anything like Gummi Ships. Then again the woman before didn't exactly seem like she belonged here either. Perhaps she too was a visitor from another world? He had too many questions racing around inside of his mind. A problem he seemed to be having a lot of lately. A slight sigh escaped from the young man's lips as he unfolded his arms. "You know what? It doesn't even matter. If you can help then I'll take it." he spoke aloud, clearly replying to a conversation he had been having inside of his head.
He pointed a finger towards the castle itself, "I need to get inside. Without going into too many details I've been hired to get something from inside the castle. I'd just go blasting in but this requires a bit more stealth on my part." there was a pause and Kaiden touched at his heart. "Besides, I've got a be a little careful when it comes to using my power." this part was whispered under his breath. I want to...
Far above the woods and beyond the reach of the mountains a soft rumble, like a beast roaming the sea of clouds, lurked far above the Earth below. The soft rumbling of the airship's engines barely totes above a whisper, granting silent passage to its cargo. Today, though, all it seemed to carry was the soft, snoring figure curled up at the helm. Exhaustion had not been the first to strike the experienced rogue but, instead, a sense of boredom with his cheek pressed to the helm floor, the magical iridescent aura danced most vividly where his face was pressed. His right arm was tucked over his head while the left served as a pillow for the spiritless third. He has first come on this journey with the promise of treasure, though it was a treasure that had no description and no place in anyone's memory. It was a feeling the thief searched for as of late. And while most content with family and friends back on Gaia he found a murmur nagging away at his memories. While a human took such as a hunch and Zidane could have easily written it off as one too: there was a base instinct that seems to feed him a trial to follow. He would do just that!
But now he was sooo booored! “Oh,why couldn't we have gone searching on a tropical island full of bikini class babes? While I know I have Dagger, nothing says I couldn't look, just not touch.” He raised a gloves hands defensive, despite having remained collapsed on the magical platform which seemed to earnestly follow his command and whims despite the ship being a young independent vessel who don't need no man!
The ship was high above the clouds, cutting through them like a ship across the sea. It as invisible against the cumulous skyscape, leaving behind it claps of thunder and snaps of lightning where it disturbed the clouds. It followed a storm and would come to a halt. A small beep indicated something was amiss. Zidane back kicked to his feet and pushed to straighten his knees. He leaned over the bar and looked down below, Invincible’s viewing platform filly displaying the castle beneath them. He looked up at the ship's interior and rest his gloved hands on his hips, behind him his tail lazily swaying. A castle huh? It looked pretty abandoned out here in the mountains. The Genome shrugged and motioned his hand, hailing the ship to lower.
Cutting through the clouds the monstrous “eye” on the ship's belly peered down over the haunting greystones of the castle’s towers. A flash of light appeared on the roof’s stone tiles and, but a moment later, the thief dropped down. He made way towards the edge of the roof, the ship crawling back out of sight. The thief shifted his weight over the roof, tail curling around a nearby gargoyle. He couldn't see any lights from where he stood, not even the flicker of a forgotten candle. Blue eyes traced the precarious surface for a path down. It would take a certain set of acrobatics, but he should make it down with ease! Down he went to the lip of another roof, followed by a balcony and stop after distant drop he'd come closer to the ground as checking watch passing window would prove a fruitless endeavor to finding an entrance.
Just before he dropped down to the courtyard the glint of stalwart armor guarding a hall caught his attention from a window unguarded by its wooden shutters. He raised his head and turned heel, just missing his meeting with the two figures down below. Zidane reached out his hand and found the ornate window frame to give no resistance when he pushed it open. Score! He stepped in and entered through the second level. He looked around to find the walls of the hall lined with the armored suits. Pretty ordinary looking though. He approached one and touched it,but in doing so the displayed Lance fell from the rusted grip of the figure causing the thief to jump and his tail to frizz up when the metal clattered to the floor and sent a rolling, reverberating echo across the west wing! His eyes darted from left to right.
“No one heard that…” he murmured before stepping over the weapon to proceed.

Maleficent’s smile widened in an almost Cheshire way when the boy asked if she had a ‘key or something.’ It was an amusing statement in its own right as it was, but there was also the irony. She wondered idly if even he knew of his own fate. ”Or something.” she cooed her tone almost maternal but in the most otherworldy eerie sort of ways. The boy also asked how she’d come to arrive in such a place and she let her glance fall sidelong to him wondering if he really wanted the details or if he was questioning himself in her company. Amusing indeed. He decided it didn’t matter and agreed to the help. He explained that it was vital that he get inside that there was something there that he simply had to obtain. This was not the first time that someone had stormed the poor cursed behemoth’s castle for its enchantments and it would certainly not be the last. Trinkets merely for the sorceress at the doorstep. ”Oh?” the dark faerie asked with curiosity in response to the need to be careful when it came to displays of power. Perhaps she really was here for the wrong powerful being. If only she could urge the boy to display such power. She had to assess the strength of the darkness in the boy’s heart to know for sure if his company was even worth her time.
”Well. Fear not, we will be inside the castle presently.” she let her lashes drift to a concentrated close. The orb on her staff glowed, a billowing green flame seeming to ignite within it. The woman herself seemed to glow with this light and her presence alone sent a frigid hush over the castle courtyard that their perch on the doorstep overlooked. She lifted her staff and pointed its focus toward the lock which came to glow with that same light before the chains and the lock snapped and fell uselessly into the dirt. She opened her eyes and set her staff back at her side before glancing in curiosity up at a high wing of the castle. There was a presence, though she’d not looked in time to see it and she'd certainly not heard it. She let her eyes rest on her new ally for the moment. ”We are not the only trespassers it would seem.” she mused
