Being a keyblade master was something that held a great deal of responsibility. It was a title he could not take for granted and for the young keyblade wielder he didn’t want to drag that title through the mud. Riku obtained that title and he was deemed worthy of it, but for Riku, it was a rather difficult thing for him to fully accept that title. Both him and Sora lacked any proper training to be a master and they had only been fighting with their own strength. He held the title but didn’t know where to go from there. It was because of this that he took his journey to other worlds.
Each world was different in its own way and the current world he was in was no exception. The streets were lively in a way but Riku casually walked around aimlessly. In a way, he didn’t really have an objective, but maybe he’d find what he was looking for while in this world, even if he didn’t know what it was he was looking for. There didn’t seem to be any sign of the heartless so far but there did seem to be some beasts roaming around. From what he could tell, the people of this world had its fair share of combat experience and it was apparent from the weapons and armory he could see. In a way Riku believed they could handle the heartless should they appear, but even so Riku felt he could at least lend a hand if there were any problems. It wasn’t to act like some savior or so, but more experience around the worlds would be something he found beneficial.
Before long Riku found himself over at a tavern glancing around as the people were happily drinking and laughing. “hmm…sure is rather lively…” Riku said closing his eyes with a sigh and smile as he noticed a bulletin board. “What's this?” Riku pondered to himself as his blue eyes scanned the board, skimming through the requests to slay some monsters. Most were rather simple requests, asking to rid a place or two of some pests, though one request caught his attention. “hmmm? A strange beast lurking around…the reward is….whoa?!” Riku began to murmur to himself but almost staggered back the moment he saw the posted reward. “Geez that’s a load of zeros” Riku said to himself. If somebody was willing to place a bounty that high for such a beast then surely this beast must be something that was rather difficult to defeat. Perhaps it was his sense of adventure that was getting him pumped up, but Riku was a rather cautious man. If this beast was going to be dangerous then he’d probably need some help taking it down. Some extra gil was enticing, though he didn’t mind splitting the cost. The only thing was where he was going to get an ally. Upon this Riku merely held his chin in thought as he stared on at the ad.

Another unfamiliar world, but just another stepping stone to his goal! The rogue seemed to easily integrate himself into this society. A long, black cloak hid his tail as the people of this world, unless in the accompaniment of feline ears or dragon-like horns and scales, did not seem to have such an appendage. The actor had become used to slipping in and out of this kinds of situations, easy to adapt and even quicker to focus in on a chance for gil, treasure, and adventure.
To give a bit of vision to the world Zidane described it as a very green place that reminded him of the Dwarves back in Conde Petire where the people lived with the land. These ancient canopies shaded the city, keeping it hidden among the trees. He could suppose it was why the tavern was called the Carline Canopy. With the hustle and bustle of the place it didn't go over one's head why it was considered the local adventurer's guild.
The tailed rogue had been stopped by the same poster. "Sure is!" He chimed in, reaching over Riku's shoulder with a close, invasive sense of familiarity. "You thinkin' of doing it? Looks pretty tough for just one person!" Zidane wasn't the most driven when it came to work, but all those zeros sure could get him a lot of drink here! "Hey! Name's Zidane! Just got into town!" he seemed pretty friendly, and a bit short, given he had to stretch to his limits to reach over Riku, which put his weight on the young man.The city of Gridania was located in a massive, forested area called the Shroud It was dense, full of poachers, beast tribes, wild animals and protective sprites called Elementals who were want to punish those who would rend the woods. It felt odd, Donald and Goofy weren't here with the Key Bearer. Sora sighed as he walked through the city. He wanted to go back to Destiny Island, though he wanted to get stronger first. Wherever Sora went, trouble always seemed to follow. Hopefully, this world was an exception. Gridania was a beautiful sight, the vegetation around the city was thick. The people of the town also had a big diversity, scales and cat ears stuck out the most. Though was that as weird as a walking duck?
Sora did wonder to himself, why was he here? Well, he did what Yen Sid always told him. He just let his heart be his guiding key. Though why did it lead him here? Sora still wasn't sure, he just... wandered. He continued down the road. Sora was drawn to a nearby tavern. He had never been inside one, though he had seen one in Port Royal. Something just...told him to enter. Sora opened the door and walked inside of the tavern. It was a bit busy. His eyes adjusted to the sudden change in lighting. He looked side to side, what he saw as a large board. Well, not the board it's self but... the person standing in front of it! Was that? RIKU?! Sora had to go see. Rushing forward a bit, this must be where his heart was guiding him.
Sora quickly attempted to confirm if this was actually his friend. He would try to pinch and pull on his friend's cheeks suddenly. "Riku! It's really you! What are you doing here?" He asks curiously. Suddenly Sora spoke, hastily. "Where's Kairi! Is she okay?" He asks with heavy emphasis. Sora then noticed Zidane, "Oh? Are you Riku's friend?" Sora stood straight up and smiled. "I'm Sora! and this is Don-" Out of habit he went to introduce his sidekicks. "Just Sora!" He let out a little laugh. Though he was a bit sad they couldn't be with him this time. Though Riku really did make things better. The boy's gaze looked towards his best friend. "What's that all about?" He asks referring to the request that both Riku and Zidane were checking out.

Riku continued to stare on at the board pondering on his next move. Though his mind was rather focused on it, it wasn’t that deep in though that would cause him to be completely off guard by the sudden weight that was placed upon his shoulder. The young keyblade master’s eyes widened a bit, almost stumbling upon the male jumping onto his shoulder, but he kept his cool and remained standing straight as he looked over his shoulder at the newcomer. The thing that made Riku so surprised was the fact that this sudden move did not make him confused or surprised. Perhaps hanging around Sora for so long made him far too used to such antics that he really wasn’t that fazed.
The person beside him seemed like a rather jolly fellow, something that caused Riku to smile as he looked back at the board and crossed his arms. “Yeah, I was thinking the same thing” Riku said. The blond male introduced himself as Zidane and Riku chose to introduce himself as well. “My name is Riku, I’m rather new to this town myself” Riku said as he glanced over at Zidane and smirked. “So what do you say? I assume your interested in the prize as well? I’m sure an amount that high is rather hard to ignore so how about we work together and split the bounty?” Riku asked. He could only assume Zidane could fight as what other reason would he be looking at the board in the first place. He wasn’t picky about getting allies and Zidane seemed like a fun person to be around.
It was just as he made is request that he suddenly heard some quick footsteps approaching the two of them and his eyes immediately widened in shock as the spikey brown haired boy came rushing straight towards him. “Sora!? H-hey geez cut it out Sora!” Riku said immediately placing his palm on his best friend’s forehead, pushing while Sora tried to while also preventing him from being able to reach his cheeks. Riku had truly believed he was used to Sora’s antics, but the keyblade wielder always just showed up and proved him wrong.
“Calm down Sora! Kairi is back home!” Riku said letting out a sigh. The moment the spaz of a boy began to notice Zidane Riku felt it was finally safe to remove his palm from Sora’s forehead. “This is Zidane, we…just met” Riku said as he turned to Zidane. “And as you can tell this is Sora…he and I go way back…” Riku said as he pointed his thumb over at the wanted request. “We were just talking about the request over there that wants us to slay a rather powerful beast. I was thinking about taking it on” Riku said

Zidane had kept his arm over the young man's shoulder as he peered over the Hunt Mark. It looked a lot like the bounty sheets they had plastered all over the Clan Halls in Ivalice. It gave him a bit of nostalgia as the place was a lot like his home. There were so many races you'd of thought it to be a shadow of Gaia. Zidane perked up at the idea of splitting the reward. It sounded like plenty of gil for a meal and bath! He had gotten pretty gross romping around those woods with Choco. The rouge curled his gloves fingers around his chin as his gaze drifted towards Riku. As he opened his mouth to try and confirm his interest another feather-brain burst out of the stockades like a bucking Chocobo, which caused the tail hidden beneath his cloak to bristle. While there were knife eared elves, and cat eared felines, there seemed a distinct lack of tailed humans. Zidane wasn't intent on becoming a curiosity before he could assess the world. And while there was a sense about it that queer things were about on the regular: the the case of the hunt note they didn't take to odd things knocking about their front door. The mark was pretty weird in its description. A four-legged tuar that sapped loving creatures of their energy. It reminded him of some of the more voracious plant species on Gaia, to be sure. Zidane perked up, arm sliding off the white-haired youth. "Name's Zidane!" He chirpped. "A buddy of yours huh? Hope you two are good in a fight! If this hunt is like anything I've seen elsewhere we're in for a treat!" He rolled his shoulders, which did to push back his dark cloak just enough to reveal the scabbard that held his main dagger with the gauche on his opposite hip, sans a sheath. He pointed to the sheet. "Says it's normally found out in the Central Shroud, which is what they call the woods here, but which that is I can't guess. As far as I've seen this place is huge!" So they either had to ask around or hazzard a guess! "My Chocobo friend is waiting outside so I'd rather not wait too long!" He didn't feel too keen bringing his bird into the gates. The guards gave him a weird look, the bird that is. It seemed around here Chocobos were pretty infamous and his Gaia bird was out of the ordinary being a bit more stout with beak and talons thick: built for digging. He'd await their ideas on their next step. If it was up to Zidane he'd just charge ahead. They were bound to find it! MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

Sora was pushed by his best friend. Riku! It was really him. Sora was so glad to see his friend in one piece. Sora backed away from Riku, he did his signature hand behind the head pose. A soft smile formed on his face, Hearing that Kairi was safe made him take a heavy sigh. Though Sora was a little confused as to why Riku had the bounty. Sora quickly leaned in, putting his hand up to his mouth to whisper to the master. "A wanted request...? Aren't we not suppose to meddling? But I guess that's never stopped us before~" The keyblader wielder said. Quickly looking at Zidane then at his best friend.
"I'm in! It's nice to meet you, Zidane!" And with that, poor Zidane was permanently apart of Sora's friendship harem for the rest of his days. Sora responded to Zidane's comment. "You can say that! We've fought all kind of monsters! This'll be a piece of cake!" Sora said holding his hand out, a quick ray of light appeared before he summoned his trusty kingdom key. After looking over at Riku, the blade disappeared into thin air. "So... Zidane what exactly are we hunting?" Sora wanted to know what they were dealing. "Lead the way!" Sora said pointing at the door. "Hey... Uh, Riku..." Sora spoke a bit quiet. "How are Donald and Goofy? Do they miss me yet?" He let out a soft chuckle. though things would be very different without the court mage and guard captain by his side.

It seemed the hunting party had been formed as Zidane accepted his offer of a team up to face this monster. With Sora along that made their party three and something that Riku felt rather comfortable with. Riku was about to speak though he noticed Sora leaning in and once he whispered his words the young keyblade master could only close his eyes and rub his temples. “Sora that is a terrible way to think” RIku whispered back with a sigh before glancing back at his best friend. “The wanted ad is rather ambiguous about what the creature is...it could be a heartless or even a nobody...maybe even the organization...” Riku whispered.
Glancing back at Zidane, Riku merely closed his eyes and scratched the back of his head. He was sure Zidane would have found it odd just watching the two of them whispering like that and Sora wasn’t the most discreet kind of person. “Sorry about that” Riku said as he turned back his attention to Zidane and crossed his arms as he thought about their next action. “If its fine with you I’d say let’s figure out for ourselves, it’ll give us a good chance to familiarize ourselves with the area” Riku said. Riku was usually a cautious one, but at the same time he didn’t really wish to merely go about asking for directions and risk the chance of meddling any further like Sora said.
Sora was rather excited and even showed off his keyblade to their new ally. Riku couldn’t help but close his eyes and smile. Soon enough Sora spoke to him once more, more is a hushed sound as it showed he was more serious about what he was about to ask. “Goofy is usually expressing his concern while Donald keeps on grumbling on about you...but they both are very worried about you” Riku said as he placed one hand on his hip and gave a comforting smile “Which is why you’d better hurry up and get back to your prime” Riku said giving him a hard pat on the back before walking forward. He knew that Sora was very weak ever since their encounter with Xehanort and perhaps it was bad idea having Sora come fight something that might be pretty strong, but it was also a good moment for the keybearer to train and perhaps even regain his strength.
Walking on ahead, Riku looked over his shoulder and smirked as he glanced over at his two companions. “well then, lets get going” Riku said.

Zidane smiled brightly to the youth, his grin eat to ear. The rogue had his hand placed on his hips, standing tall as the more familiar duo spoke with confidence. Zidane had never had trouble hunting monsters, but he usually left that sort of thing to bounty hunters, but when you had ten gil to his name and some pocket long, well sometimes you did what you had to not incur a decent with unsavory characters on a distant world. He didn't need a debt like he has collected at the Gold Saucer on Planet. He was sure he never wanted to see another Moogle mascot for as long as he lived and breathed. The very thought made his tail bristle at the very idea! The limb puffed up as he winced. It had been lousy deal to be sure! The rogue was glad there was at least someone interested in the task, as he was sure to slack off otherwise! "Alright, let's go!" Zidane had always been an energetic sort of fellow, so even a strange situation like this was more fun in a team. The thief made his easy to the city gates. The sense woods his all manner of critter including roving treants, lumbering mushrooms and an excessive number if insects from harmless ladybugs to maybe, massive, bloodsucking chioge. The Hunt flyer wasn't too detailed in the beast's habitat, just that whatever it was skulked the darkness of the deep, dark, woods! MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

As chance would have it, their target wasn't very far away from the gate, although it was unintentionally well-hidden. There, set aside in a clearing well-off the paths, sat an object that certainly looked alien next to all the local foliage. It was a floating sphere of thick metal chains, easily several feet across and glowing with a warm, golden light. That alone could make it seem rather inviting, if not for its intimidating nature besides. Complete with a hefty lock on its front face, the contraption had obviously been made to seal something in... and hastily so, at that, as someone had left their key behind in the process, something which was liable to lead close those who knew its owner: A certain King who, by now, had long since made his escape from the clutches of what was sealed inside.
Jutting out from the lock was the familiar shape of a Keyblade. The blue rod, half-stuck in the messily-conjured seal, was decorated with gold stars along its length. On the opposite end, the silver shoulder gave way for the head of the key, where a thick hilt was tilted aside in the lock. From its very end hung a gold chain, dangling from which was the old crest with its round ears that marked just about anything its owner touched. In all, there was no mistaking who this Keyblade belonged to, but that did raise the question of what it had been raised against, and, by extension, what was so dangerous that he would abandon the weapon to flee.
With how the owner's Heart was bound to two of the hunting party's members, there was no doubt they'd find it and be faced with such questions themselves.

Sora was rather confident in the parties' abilities. Sora was most comfortable when it was a group of 3. He was unsure of Zidane's abilities, but those would show themselves in due time. Sora was glad to hear Donald and Goofy were doing well. The boy quickly looked up at the master, "Hey! I'm just as strong as I was when we did our mastery exam!" he said doing a flexing pose with both of his arms. Though Riku was right, Sora had lost most of his power after Xehanort tried to convert him to his side. Sora quickly returned his hands to his side and rushed to keep up with Riku and Zidane as they headed towards the forest.
As they walked through the city Sora once again spoke towards Riku. "So... What have you been doing anyway?" Sora was curious about what the new master was doing in a place like this. "After you saved me from Xehanort, I went back to the sleeping realms and thanked the dream eaters for their help!" Sora smiled. "You know, speaking of the sleeping worlds, I wonder how Neku and the others are doing..." he crossed his arms and looked down thinking. "Anyway... I'm sure this monster will be a piece of cake, nothing a master can't handle~" he laughed a bit nudging Riku with his elbow.
After a few minutes of them walking through the town, Sora than sped up a bit walking next to Zidane as he spoke up. The keyblader always loved to make new friends, and this was no exception. They were entering the woods as Sora spoke up. "Do you know what kind of monster this thing is?" He was sure Zidane was far more educated on the monsters of this world.

Sora was always filled with vigor and confidence even when the goings was tough. Even after going through so much trouble and even failing the mark of mastery Sora was still able to keep his head high. He was reckless, far too reckless, but Riku believed in his friend. He knew sooner or later the perky idiot would soon be standing by his side on the battlefield as strong as ever. Losing his powers was not going to keep Sora down.
It was nice to see Sora was taking the upcoming battle with Xehanort seriously. They all needed to be at their top game if they wanted to get out of it in one piece. “I’ve been training now that I’ve got a new role I have to improve and prepare myself” Riku said as he couldn’t help but close his eyes and sigh with a smile as he was nudged. “lets not get cocky now Sora” Riku said.
Riku walked ahead of the two for a bit, unsure of where he was going exactly but it was almost as if his heart was leading him to where he needed to go. Each step was accompanied by the crunch of the grass that was stepped upon. Riku was a cautious one and as such he kept his guard up until he saw it. His steps came to a halt and a bead of sweat ran down the side of his head. An arm was immediately held out to the side, almost as if a sign for the two behind him to stop.
“This is not good...”
Riku couldn’t help but narrow his eyes a bit as he lowered his arm. With a flash of light, his keyblade formed in his hand and he clenched the grip of the way to the dawn. Blue eyes stared at the foreign object that was before them, a ball of metal chains, but his attention was not focused solely upon the ball but more so upon the keyhole and the key that was barely in it.
“That’s...mickey’s keyblade...” Riku said as he took a few steps closer, but stopped before getting too close to the object and key. A sense of dread began to fill the new keyblade master as he stared upon his dear friend’s keyblade, worrying for the king’s safety and if he was alright. Turning around, Riku glanced over at Sora and Zidane. He was calm, but it was clear that there was some concern bothering him. “That key belongs to a friend of me and Sora. It is a weapon of sealing and unlocking...” Riku explained to Zidane as he turned back to the object and narrowed his eyes once more. “The fact that he left his key must mean that he must have sealed something big...” Riku said clenching his fist.
His grip tightened upon his keyblade as he stared at the object wondering what exactly could be so dangerous that Mickey would leave his keyblade. “This may or may not be the target we are searching for...I’m sorry Zidane but even if it’s not, I still need to look into this and get to the bottom of it...” Riku said. The urge to go grab the keyblade was strong, but Mickey sealed this thing for a reason and he couldn’t act so rashly.

Zidane came to a stop, just halfway beyond the gates heading back into the town. He raised his head, blond bangs parting just enough to allow his sapphire eyes to peer past. The cat-like pupils dilated slightly at the distraction. The question of his bestiary knowledge had caught his ears, causing the young rogue to lean forward with his gloved thumb and index finger over his chin. As he leaned forward his pony tail slipped down from the confines of his hood, the tied hair as soft as the rest of his locks. If not for his audacious attitude one could mistake his youthful face for that of a woman! It was why the bohemian was often roped into playing the part of women during his family's plays....
He looked to Sora, resting his hands on his hip. The long, black cloak kept his tail hidden beneath as his boots tapped against the ground. He took in a deep breathe, filling his chest with air as his ego swelled. He patted his chest but would grin.
"I don't know a thing about these critters here, but I know plenty about others so how different can it be?!" He regarded.
They would walk and walk and in no time it seems they would find an object, a key and lock. He knelt down, eyes narrowing a bit at the weapon. It had a strange sense to it. He recognized this... His long tail would fall from the cloak, its end beating to his frustration.
"It's a Keyblade, right?" Zidane slowly looked up to them, a soft expression on his face as he rest his hands to his knees. "I used to have a friend who had one of these -- but she's..." Pushing on his knees he stood straight, that tail vanishing as quickly into the cloak as it seemed to appear. Hopefully it wasn't spotted! "Hey if it's important to you I'll lend a hand! Come on, there has to be some tracks, right?!" Zidane looked up to the trees before rolling his shoulders.
Flexing his arms he jumped up and scurried up the tree with the agility and skill expected for an actor such as him, but the pair would like only assume this from his monster hunting prowess, of which he had absolutely none! Moving to the edge of the branch he put his hand to his forehead and looked outward. There appeared to be breaks in the treeline that seemed unnatural, but the Shroud seemed to have a lot of moving Treants too. They didn't seem to cause the wood damage so this had to be a pest.
"Hey, that way!" Zidane pointed. "There's some break in the trees, think it whatever got loose of your pal's trap is that way?!" He jumped down from his perch, landing with ease between the two youths. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

Though none had stepped too close or dared to touch it, their presence seemed to be enough to cause some sort of reaction as the sphere's glow began to dim. Some seconds later, it shook, turned and creaked as the enchanted materials were put under a tremendous strain from inside until its side burst open, scattering petrified chains along the ground. From the new hole stretched a massive right arm made up of gray muscle-like cords that flexed and swelled beneath an equally massive gauntlet, at the end of which was a hand with three huge, pale claws that waggled in the free air. In the palm of that hand was a circular port that shone with a distinct sky blue whenever it was in view.
The arm, no longer held back my its prison, reached around toward the lock on the front to take hold of the Keyblade there, first trying to yank it out and then pausing when that didn't work. In its hand, the weapon turned pale, losing all its color until it was a near-blank item, at which point the creature settled for breaking the hilt off entirely, revealing it to be weak and brittle after its draining treatment. Once snapped in two, both parts of the key simply rotted where they were, turning to dust and blowing off with the weak forest breeze. With the lock no longer secure, the sphere tipped forward to make way for more limbs to erupt from various angles. From the back, two red, narrow wings were sprouted before four monstrously thick legs burst out from the bottom just as the lack of enchantment forced the sphere to stop levitating. The whole thing landed heavily in the dirt, and all the mass of its parts begged the question of just how it all had fit in there to begin with- Assuming they hadn't been grown on the spot.
As for how it got the energy necessary to conjur such a powerful body, well, that was a mystery that could be solved by looking over the surrounding environment and seeing how the grass had all turned too stiff to sway in the wind, and nearby trees had seen their bark slowly turn to sand and crumble away, leaving their trunks barren and their shapes thoroughly damaged. With the Keyblade's incomplete seal now fully lifted, this thing was free to consume anything in the surrounding environment, and it was putting those resources to very good use.
Still, that would not be the end. Through the empty keyhole, the beast inside glared at the would-be hunters, opening its palm toward them and eyeing them up as its next meal from a low, predatory stance. Sora and Riku were both easy to see, but it didn't seem to pay much attention to Zidane, who had scaled a tree before the creature could see. He may have difficulty staying in the canopy, though, as the branches began to wither and turn brittle beneath him, every handhold turning compromised just as quickly as the last...

Sora looked at Riku as he was scolded for his cocky behavior. "Oh come on Riku!" He sighed crossing his arms. "You're no fun!" he joked with his friend. After a bit, he watched as his Riku walked forward and spotted Mickey's keyblade. "Huh?" He peeked over Riku's shoulder, the boy raised an eyebrow. Sora didn't recognize this new keyblade of Mickey, he was only familiar with the Kingdom Key D. "You sure it's His Majesty's?" He would ask confused. None the less he wanted to go grab it, though he looked towards, Zidane and Riku.
"Why would His Majesty come here?" He sighed crossing his arms thinking for a moment. He watched as Zidane swiftly climbed up the tree like a monkey. Sora didn't expect him to be that swift, Sora watched as Zidane steaked out the area. As Zidane landed between the two, Sora swiftly ran towards the break in the trees. The reckless key bearer ran ahead of both Riku and Zidane. He was stopped by the sudden shaking of the sphere. "What the...?" Sora asks himself seeing the massive hand emerge from the ground. "Riku! Zidane! Look out!" Sora was suddenly surprised as the creature snapped the fake keyblade in half. More of the creatures' limbs appeared and the very forestry around the party became simple sand that was blown into the wind.
Sora quickly dashed over to Riku, a beam of light appeared in his hand as he summoned forth his keyblade. His signature kingdom key. He squatted a bit bending over with his back. Holding his keyblade with two hands. Sora decided to take the first move. He jumped into the air and pointed his keyblade forward. The silvertip of the key turned a bright red. "Blaze!" He shot out a large ball of fire towards the beast. The ball had a slight bit of homing to it. Sora landed back down next to Riku, he looked at him wondering just what the next move would be.

Riku’s hand continued to grip his keyblade firm and strong as he stared at the foreign object that was before him. Was this some sort of illusion or did Mickey really seal something out in this world that was strong enough to require leaving his keyblade. The tension was strong, though it didn’t seem like there was much of a reaction just yet. Perhaps he could calm himself for now, but that was much harder to do than say.
If the seal broke and they had to fight whatever dwelled in the prison of chains, he could only hope that Zidane was able to fight it off. The moment Zidane spoke about the keyblade Riku’s eyes widened as he looked over at his new companion caught off guard that he knew what it was. It seemed he knew a keyblade wielder and by extension it was possible that either he was from another world or hold some knowledge about other worlds. Riku’s eyes could only close as he let out a sigh and gave Zidane a nod and a soft smile. “Thanks Zidane...” Riku said.
Turning his attention back to the ball of chains, Riku listened to Sora’s words and nodded. “I’m sure, whatever the reason he came here for, it must not be quite pleasant for him to leave his keyblade” Riku said. Sora ran ahead, but in that moment the prison began to shake and a monstrous claw burst out, immediately sending Riku on guard. Gripping his keyblade, Riku rose it in his usual battle stance and narrowed his eyes as he watched the creature begin to burst out of its prison. Mickey’s keyblade began to corrode and so too did the surrounding area making it clear this was a bad sign. If they were going to fight this thing, they needed to do it fast as it seemed to be absorbing the strength of everything around it.
“Everybody get ready!” Riku yelled out as Riku immediately pointed his keyblade forward, taking hold of the hilt with both his hands. Sora sent a fire spell at the beast and hopefully that would at the very least slow down the beast’s escape. Even if the spell didn’t work, it would give them an idea of what doesn’t work against it. The moment the fire spell was shot, a beam of light was fired from the tip of Riku’s key, attempting to aim at the keyhole that had one held the king’s keyblade. If they could slow the creature down through the reactivation of the seal then maybe they would have a better chance against this unknown enemy.
