Down and down the body of the blue-haired master began to fall. Water around her crashing down upon her skin. The deeper she felt the deeper her darkness swelled. Eyes flickering between amber and aqua. Hair fading in and out between purest white to blue as if someone constantly tinted her hair. A struggle was ragging on between the light and darkness in a single woman's body. Year upon years of torment and fighting for survival in order to escape the realm of darkness took its toll on the young master. Echos of voice from the past filled her thoughts with worry and fear.
"Ven...Terra...King Mikey...." she coughed aloud as water began to fill her lungs. "No!" she shouted in her head as the darkness began to spill out of her mouth. Despite being submerged in dense water the black flames spread around her like a swirling vortex encasing her in its evil presence. She was becoming corrupted and there was nothing she could do anymore. She had lost the fight and drive she had. Any chance of her friends saving her now was all but gone now and here she was being overcome by the same darkness that took another. Why was she so weak? Why had she failed her friends so? If only she could have escaped then things could have been different right?
Her eyes closed one final time before her body became engulfed with the flames. Once engulfed she began to float to the surface again. Her body rising from the depths to the surface of the black lake. The woman was hunched over with her arms dangling in front of her and she stood still. In her single spot, she rose from the water like a motionless doll. Quickly she jerked her body upwards where her head tilted towards her left shoulder where a small appeared before her face. All sanity has gone from her face she said, "now it's time to play."

So it was finally time. Time to rescue one of his friends. His memories were still cloudy and fragmented, but those memories of the two he cared about the most, they had been recovered, all thanks to the help of Skuld. He could now utter the name of his two friends with confidence. In a way he supposed that now Skuld was ever as close a friend to him as they were, all thanks to what she had helped him realize and recover. ... And it was because of that reason that he was unsure about her making this dangerous journey alongside him."...I think you should stay behind. I don't know what the realm of darkness is really like, but...My armor protects me from it. I can't guarantee your safety if you go in there. Besides, this is something I have to do on my own."...He felt a sharp pain in his heart as memories resurfaced, of his time in Radiant garden so long ago. "Just stay put!! I'm on my own now." ... He tried to convince himself that it was different this time. But was it really? Maybe the Terra that always made mistakes and tried to do things by himself was still here. ... Maybe the Terra that couldn't ever best Aqua in combat was still here.He looked down at the ground for a moment, lost in his thoughts. But before he could really think too much, the portal was open. He took two deep breaths before taking on a determined expression and stature, calling forth the keyblade armor that long protected him in the past, and stepping through the corridor...... He arrived in a desolate, oppressive landscape. The dark aura surrounding every square inch of this place brought to mind terrible memories. But he clutched the wayfinder in his hand, lifting it up to observe it closely. It brought some ease to his mind. No matter how terrifying it was here - He was here to save his friend."Aqua...I'll be there soon. Just hold on a little longer."He followed both his heart, and the feeling of ease the wayfinder brought him. It was almost as if he were a man possessed. There was no real sign of where things would lead you in this landscape. Though it seemed like he was wandering aimlessly, as he fought off the endless heartless, they would soon be lead to a strange beach... And it was here the feelings from the wayfinder were strongest.Certainly enough, just as he witnessed the change of scenery, the wayfinder's path was confirmed to be correct as he witnessed Aqua rising out from under the inky darkness below the waters. His eyes widened with excitement. Had he really found her after all these years? He wanted to run towards her, to call out her name. ... But the feeling she gave off was all too familiar to him. He raised an arm to the side, stopping Skuld were she to try going over to Aqua."She's fallen into the darkness. Be careful."He uttered a simple, straight forward warning to Skuld, before the expressionless mask belonging to the armor once known as "Lingering Will" stared off towards Aqua, motionless, conveying nothing. But all the same, Terra began to speak to her."Aqua. I'm sorry it took so long. ... It's time for us to go home."He reached his hand outwards towards Aqua; he radiated a calming light, watching the former paragon of the keybladers silently after these words, waiting to hear just what Aqua would say in return. It pained him to see what had become of her, but...He steeled his resolve. The past didn't matter in this moment. - What mattered was bringing his friend back home again.------ Aqua Skuld (OOC Note: Any dialogue in italics denotes inner monologue/Memories)

"Don't worry Terra, I have my own protecton from the Darkness"Skuld held up a bangle around her wrist, the item absorbed darkness, prevented it from getting into her. At times their were concerns about it but right now? It held the function she needed it to, it protected her from Darkness. It gave her the option that this time she woudnt simply wait and see how things turned out. No she do what she was meant to. This time... She would not watch as friends and allies cut each other down. "People running off into dangerous situations, Fighting for themselves or trying to bare everything alone... Its why the worlds are as they are now... Its reckless! I know how that path ends.."Images of a friend, broken and marred in the middle of a graveyard marked by keys flashed before her eyes. Her gaze fell on Terra and she simoly shook her head. Not again, never again. "Its noble, even brave and honorable to try and protect everyone from pain, save everyone but..."Her glare turned to a smile as she continued, so many times before... But this would be different. "So many times it results in that brave persons sacrifice... Their destruction or near destruction trying to do so... But it doesnt have to be that way. Together we can save her... And come back. Let me help you Terra... Your not alone, just like Aqua isnt, not anymore. I dont want a game where we sacrifice every piece to win"Skuld then stepped foward, summoning Starlight to her hand her smile became more warm. "So instead... Let me help you, lets go and save your friend Terra, bring her back to the Realm of light... Aqua's waiting... And besides..."Light shot forth from her keyblade, a portal of light forming before them, she turned back to Terra, keepimg her weapon at her side. "How would you both get back without my portal anyway? Seems like you cant leave me behind huh...?" She would tease Terra briefly before turning serious once more, shaking her head. Besides she had alrwsdy covered her bases. She left the Dream Eater with Vaneera to help her protect herself and anyone else she needed to. She also gave her a steady training scheduale to stick to during her absence. She wasnt just leaving silly nilly. She planned this. This was going to be different. She refused to lose even one more ally to DarknessThey stepped throught the portal of light and, next they knew they were truly in the Realm of Darkness. She felt it all around here. Darkness was stronger here, far stronger... And it was everywhere. They would need to be careful as they proceeded. Skuld would let Terra take the lead, beliving that the bonds he shared with his friend would be what guided them to her. She knew how strong the bonds of friendship could be after all. It worked, and as Skuld looked upon Aqua she could only feel sadness as she rose from the blackned water. Her physical apperance... It had all the signs of something she had seen before. The similarities in fact were frighting. If they didnt stop this soon... Their would be no going back. "No Aqua... Playtimes over, its time to wake up... And come home to your friends"Her tone was solem, full of determination as she held her keyblade at the read, holding a defensive position behind Terra, ready to support his effort, ready to dispel this nightmare once and for all. She nodded to Terra in confirmation of what he said, then turned back to Aqua's darkned form. Her resolve was clear. She hoped Terra's offer was enough, but darkness had a hold of her, so she was ready to do whatever was needed to free her from it. Yes... "Whatever it takes"Aqua Terra

Two figures approached her and the young woman let out a glare towards them. How dare they intrude upon her. The nerve they had to challenge her. There was no saving this girl who existed before now. This body was a vessel now for the darkness and she couldn't be saved. She was corrupted and like a fungus would never die. The woman titled her head and gave a dark smile before addressing her opposition. "Terra you have already succumb to the darkness there is no saving me." She then directed her attention to the girl who accompanied her old friend. "Can you call people who abandon you for a decade your friend?" This new girl had no idea the pain and hardships she had gone through over the years. All the heartless she had to fight and the crippling loneliness she faced. The images of her friends appearing only to be tricks of the realm of darkness corrupting her mind. Everything was exhausting and never-ending. How she was even alive was a miracle within itself. Aqua opened her hand and her masters keyblade emerged from a small flash of light. She looked at the girl with eyes with cold intent. Raising her keyblade she pointed it at the girl and said, "You should just leave now. Fire!" A burst of fire erupted from her keyblade and made its way towards the girl. Without giving the girl a second glance Aqua rushed towards Terra and went to slash at him in a diagonal angle. Skuld Terra

As she spoke coldly to the pair, he stared silently from behind the mask he had once been forced to wear for years. He couldn't deny any of the words she directed towards him, and yet... He knew these weren't things Aqua would ever say. He was determined to pull her out of this dark fog she had gotten herself trapped in. No matter the cost."You're right."He paid little attention to her attempts at intimidation, continuing to speak."I made a lot of mistakes. I put both yours and Ven's lives at risk just for a foolish pursuit of power. I'm the reason Master couldn't defend himself against Xehanort. Maybe I'm even the reason you're here now like this. But it's because I fell to the darkness once, that I know now..."He stared at her unmoving, and then took up a defensive stance."The one doing the talking...Is not my friend!!!"His keyblade materialized in his hands in mere seconds, and as Aqua closed the distance, instead of moving to block her attack, he swung the blade forward - In that very instant it became almost elastic, and wrapped itself around Eraqus's keyblade, he swung his own once more, trying to throw Aqua off balance before releasing her from his grapple, but he wasted no time in rushing forward and striking out with a skill their very own master had once used..."Zantetsuken!!"He closed the distance in a flash, his blade striking at Aqua at absurd speeds, he gave her no chance to recover from his grapple before he was already on the offensive. He was going to free her by force. He owed it to her to save her from the darkness, he owed it to Ven.
He owed it to Eraqus. He could only hope Skuld was able to protect herself against the fire attack sent her way. There was no time to hesitate, every second wasted was one he'd lose the chance to stop Aqua.--- Terra used Zantetsuken! [Ignores Defense] [Deals Medium Damage] (Cooldown: 0/3) Aqua Skuld

"Yes, I can"
A swirl of light and petels signaled the summoning if Starlight into her hand as she stared down Ven's friend.. Yes she knew all about abandoment. As a member of the Anguis Union she had often been abandoned by people she thought to be her friend. Their was a time she to her regret even thought the same of Ephemer. In truth it happened several times until she joined the Dandelions. An important fact was Ephemer had never truly abandoned her. He had a responsibility as a member of the Dandelions, same as her once she joined them. The key difference here.... Was that Aqua wasn't abandoned. She hadn't know Terra enough to say for sure about him, though she had her doubts he would have willing left Aqua none the less. She knew one one of thise friends very well. Well enough to know for sure he would have never left her on his own. She knew
"Ventus is waiting for you"
She said the words matter of factly. It was simply the truth. Ventus would be waiting for her, like her other friends. She would help Terra save her-then she would save Ven and all the others. As the ball of fire came flying towards her she focused lighting in her blade and slashed out in defience of her statement.
"Were bringing you home to him... To your friends... I'm not going anywhere, Thunder!"
The electric charged keyblade quelled the incoming fireball like a symbol of her determination. She wasn't going to back down this time. She was here to save Aqua and thats exactly what she intended to do. She knee well what the path she was on would lead to. She had seen many times examples in the past. She would not allow it to come to pass here.
Terra held just as much determination as her. He wanted to set things right, to correct the wrongs of his past. She was right there with him. Together.. this time... They would set her free from the darkness that held her prisioner. She lept back and charged light energy into her keyblade. She timed the attack to come down after Terra's own, she woudn't give any chance for the darkness to pull any tricks, she would give it no quarter as she fire her Laser Barrage. Beams of light would rain down upon the darkned soul.
"Were setting you free of the chains holding you down, of the burden you've held for so long... Here! And now!"
1.Thunder used to charge keyblade and counter Aqua's Fire Spell (1 turn cooldown) 2.Used Light Barrage on Aqua (2 post cooldown)

"How foolish," the specter before them spoke in a dark menacing tone. How dare they defy the darkness within this vessel. How dare they challenge the void of lost minds. This would be their undoing and then they shall succumb to the darkness themselves. The boy would be the easiest to consume as the darkness still lingered somewhere in their heart as for the girl she would be more difficult. If she could feed the despair and regret in their heart maybe then they could join this vessel as a pawn for the shadows.
The being went on with its attacks only for the fire to be counted by lightening. Then their slash to be stopped cold by the elasticity of the male's blade. They began their attacks in exchange and Aqua was hit by a barrage of hits from Terra. "Agghhhh!" Aqua would scream and be launched back to then be hit by multiple hits of light. Her body would lay limp on the ground for a few seconds before laughing. "You think you can simply beat the darkness out of her?" Aqua stood up and with her head tilted to the side and eyes wide with a big smile continued, "You are merely damaging the body, not the spirit! Don't believe me? Just watch."
Aqua's eyes turned blue again and her body collapsed to the ground. She looked up at the figures before her blurred in her vision, but she could make out their outlines. "T-Terra?" her voice was back to its gentle self. She reached out with her free hand and then it fell again. Her head drooped down before raising back up again, "You see? Nothing you shall do will harm me! You say you want to rescue this girl then you will have to destroy her body!" The body began to laugh maniacally before casting blizzard at Terra and then rushing the girl with a piercing strike.
