A quick slash followed by fleeting darkness. Galuf sheathed his sword as he straightened himself while a Heartless disappeared behind him. They appeared like normal statues, but then attacked him. Honestly, he felt like he got lost in this dungeon. Or perhaps he had just been walking in circles. "This place is a bit damp," he said to himself while scratching his chin. His progress thus far was limited to breaking down a door and walking around the dungeons. At least he had reached a staircase that seemed to go up.
Stepping his feet onto the steps, the Warrior of Dawn walked upward before he would find another door. This place is made of stone hallways and doors, it felt fitting, but he was a bit more surprised when he opened said door. The place behind it no longer was mere stone and cold, instead he found a hallway of a castle that was likely an actual floor. Not some kind of dungeon. "Well, there we go, finally something more bespoken of a residence," he said with a smile while he looked around the hallway. Candles were lit, so he assumed someone should be around, but he was quickly reminded of some dungeons he had hone through. Even Castle Exdeath had lights burning in many places, no chance that one of the monsters went around lighting them.
Still, this place was dark and gloomy, but not monstrous like some of the castles he had been to. Perhaps he should also make his own castle in Bal more... alive. All these castles end up looking the same, he sighed before shrugging. He was perhaps a king, or former one, but he never could get fully used to it all. Also he didn't really know what kind of title he would be considered to have right now. Dying and being revived doesn't exactly give you immediately your former title again, does it?
His thoughts clearly all over the place, Galuf continued onward as he noticed more stairs going up. As such, he continued his way up before looking at his left and right. Left went on, but right hit a brick wall, so left he would go, further into the wing.

CASTLE!
Stuff of Fantasy!
Romance of Adventure!
SUITS OF ARMOR!
Cain was pretty sold on the entire place as he roamed around aimlessly, trying to figure out just exactly where he had ended up and what this place was. Of course, it was a castle, a large castle, one with stones, carpets, doors, and most importantly, suits of armor! Ignoring the fact that one of them had somehow accidentally dropped it's halberd right as he was walking past, almost taking off his toes, they were so amazing! Cain had, without anyone being able to actually stop him, decided that while having one arm armored was cool, he needed some more pieces to walk around with.
A bit of fumbling with straps and clamps and perhaps an accidentally crash or two, and Cain was now sporting a new armored leg and a helmet. And boy howdy, did he look cool.
He assumed.
There were no mirrors in the hallway from what he could see, so it was time to find one! Each step was a loud clang, and each turn of his head sounded like a mechanical man in need of an oil can. He searched for a bit of time, but found nothing, no mirrors, no reflective metal surfaces, not even a fountain to stare into. Granted, he barely went further than the hallway with the armor in it, as his movement was much slower than normal, but he was trying damnit!
As he stood there though, the sound of a large door closing drew his attention and Cain began to rush toward the sound, each step alternating between a gentle thud and a loud CLANG. There was another person, hopefully! Someone who could tell him how cool he looked!
He did look cool right?

Wandering onward there was little else to it. The place felt really quiet and dead like this. Perhaps it could use some pacing guards of some kind. Servants wandering around here and there as well. Also some bits were really dusty, it could use a good servant going about to clean the place. Galuf nodded to himself as he thought these things while looking around. This was before a lot of noise drew his attention.
Definitely the sound of armor, it actually sounded somewhat clumsy to the old man. Galuf didn't know what was going on ahead, but he continued onward anyhow. Soon enough, just like that, he found himself another man. One in armor, just like he had anticipated and the Warrior of Dawn pulled up a hand in greeting, "lo! Are you by chance the owner of this place?" he asked loudly while walking towards the armored figure, "I must say! This place could use some cleaning! Also perhaps some more life to it! Like some guards? Servants? Someone pacing around perhaps!"
Galuf came soon to a halt before the man himself, "honestly speaking, this place is cold, dark, and shows a lot of the ways of a dungeon rather than a true lived castle! One would start to think some villain has taken up residence here..." he pulled up a hand and rubbed his chin as he narrowed his eyes while studying the man before him, "... you're not a villain are you? Would be sad to have to strike down the very first person I find, especially when I seem to have trouble remembering anything."
Suddenly the old man stepped back shocked, "or am I the villain?!" he blurted out shocked, "ohhh, why can I not remember! How did I get here? I didn't lose my mind and start some villainous spree, did I?" Stepped back, he studied the figure once more as he rubbed his chin. The armor did look good, but the man didn't seem like he fit the armor entirely. Maybe he found it, he best go to some smith and get it fixed better to suit him per chance!

Goodness Gracious Tick Tocking Crocodile Paces, this man liked to hear himself talk! Or he talked to hear himself speak. Or he liked talks with hearing?
Either way Cain lifted up both hands in a slightly defensive manner and shook his head. "Whoa whoa whoa, slow down there Master of the House, I just happened to find myself here and find myself this cool armor that I decided to pair with my already cool armor." Cain declared, before motioning to himself, "It is cool, right?"
Thinking for a moment, Cain just lifted a hand up in order to stop the man before he shook his head, "Actually, just a moment. I've only encountered suits of armor that almost accidentally gave me a shave, nothing more, nothing less, aside from you, and yet you don't even know who or why you are?" He asked. This situation didn't exactly bode well, could this be a trap in order to keep them here? Looking around, it was a little dark, but not dark enough to really worry him to a certain degree.
"For all I know you're just a figment of my imagination or an illusion meant to trap me here, or I am a figment of your imagination to do the same to you... or we just happen to be two people lost in a strange castle without any knowledge of why we are here." Pulling out a small piece of foil wrapped chocolate, Cain tossed it weakly at the man's chest, in order to test if he was real or not.
