[ooc: I may edit this post to include a template later on.]
Alhanalem was in shock. It appeared to Alhanalem as the same location, the old city of Rebena Te Ra, but now filled with monsters and demons. Was this a future, a different timeline, a different dimension entirely? It called to the Yuke to figure this out. Behind him was a crystal glowing in the grass, one he had found in his own area. He knew that some time travel had happened before, perhaps some of the lingering effect and likely in other places had created a sort of pathway. The former royal mage had been trying to figure out the crystal and accidentally had used it. Now he was in some new timeline. "This is not inconsequential. To be transferred is demonstrational perfect and very experiential," Alhanalem mused to himself. Figuring he should see this positively. His eyes scanned the structures and area, "unhistorical to my own, perhaps nearby is residential. I should see if certain things are symmetrical to understand what point I am at universal."Alhanalem looked behind him at the crystal, wondering if it was save to leave it there. He hardly could drag it with him constantly. With a shrug and staff in hand, the yuke stepped forward towards the ruins of Rebena Te Ra. The city he knew most of his life, but as a bustling city filled with people rather than the monsters he had seen thus far. He hoped this would be save. It wasn't like he had some people with him to aid him. Perhaps he should go back and gather some guards from the king. Uriel

Uriel had grown up hearing stories about the old city of Rebena Te Ra. Not so much the stories of a golden past, but tales of harsh fights by caravaners against the city's dark inhabitants. The very group that found her egg had supposed only fought in this place to claim myrrh from the tree deep in its depths. If the tree had any Myrrh left over... Uriel could certainly find some use for it.
Fortune Telling had proved a fruitful venture before in the last town she visited, but if she was going to do this at every place she visited she needed fuel for it.
The odd-looking Selkie girl sat in a patch of tall grass, eye up to a spyglass as she scoped out the old city. With the miasma receding so long ago it seemed that there were considerably fewer monsters stalking the streets. If you took only fifteen soldiers out of an army of one hundred it still held a large force of 75 versus one. She still saw a large amount of Bats, goblins, skeletons... none of whom looked particularly fun to play with.
"Perhaps I can get by with stealth..." Said the selkie dressed in whites and bright grays, "That doesn't sound like a terribly reliable strategy for whatever big guy is lurkin' in the center." When you spend a lot of time on the road on your own, Uriel found that talking to herself was becoming a regular occurrence... was she sliding off her rocker? Probably not, she would have assumed that happened a very long time ago. As she put down her spyglass to stow it away she noticed some faint glowing in the grasslands ahead of her. Was that Yuke there before? As she eyed him down from her hiding spot in the tall grass not too far away from him she would take a deep breath through her nose... He didn't look corrupted so she may as well introduce herself.
The curious looking Selkie woman silently slid her way down the hill and through the grass, her form cutting through it with a nimble grace before she peaked her head out from the waves of grain. "Quite the sight isn't it, Stranger?" She asked with a playful grin.

Royal Mage
I'll Assist In Your Task Monumental
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ Slowly, but steadily, the yuke moved towards the city. On one end he didn't like the sight of it at all, on another end it was at least a place he recognized even when now crowded with monsters. Perhaps he needed to find out if there was a way to cleanse the place. Or perhaps the crystal even allowed him to move further into the future where it was reconquered by the old inhabitants. If they still lived. Hope the king's line does stretch this far, considering the death of the princess, it was likely that the king's line had run out.
Honestly, Alhanalem never thought about the future, so now thinking what happens to Rebena Te Ra and seeing the state it was in. He couldn't go and alter the timeline, right? Or was the presence of the crystal a meaning for that this world needed saving. His thoughts then were completely interrupted as rustling of grass reached his ears. Staff in hand, the former royal mage turned to the sound and saw a selkie coming towards him. From appearance alone, she didn't seem hostile.
A question was raised towards him and he looked over the city again, "yes, illustrational this was not the right environmental. My believes had been different expectional, yet the truth exceptional... Truly terrible," he replied with a sad tone, "I am Alhanalem." He wasn't entirely certain if he should introduce himself, being quite well-known for Rebena Te Ra, but he suspected the name would be given to newborn Yuke too. Like perhaps as a tribute to the royal mage of the past.
"Is this where you reside territorial?" he asked, curious if this was a descendant from the people of Rebena Te Ra. They had all sorts of races there back during his time, so it wasn't like they should have just vanished, right?

Uriel was never going to get used that curious speaking pattern so many yukes used. The curious selkie woman would step forward out of the tall grass to bow her head towards Alhanalem, "It's good to meet you, Alhanalem. I'm Uriel, of the Selkie tribe... and no, I'm just scouting out the place. I'm hoping to get in there so I can reach the Myrrh tree inside."
Feeling a bit more assured that this yuke meant no harm to her she would step out of the grass and narrow her eyes at the city, "Thing is I'm not really a practiced fighter." With her body now removed from the sea of grass the rest of her was on display. She wore tribal looking, simple and showy clothes: reminiscent of a dancer of some kind. Of all her features the one that stood out most about her was that draconic tail sprouting off her behind. It didn't look to be any type of accessory as it moved and swayed with her.
"Oh, Where are my manners?" She turned back around to offer her hand towards Alhanalem, "Do you live around here... Al... hana... can I just call you 'Al' for short?"
