Watching down from the clocktower, Silv wasn't entirely certain what was going on. She felt the presence of other Heartless throughout the city, but also other dark presences. Other entities that were existing within the city. Not Sombodies, but something else. Having heard of older entities like the Unversed or... Dream Eaters... she felt she did need to learn more on those. Right now she simply did not care. A growl escaped her lips as she held out her axe, Corridors opened in the skies as more Heartless appeared, descending down onto the city. These had wings, Silv didn't really have much control when it came to anything, but her own abilities. She wasn't really a summoner, but the Heartless did respond her call now and then. That was enough for her. At least for now. Closing her eyes, Silv sensed the other people in the tower as she noted another nearby. "What's even the point," she snarled as she tightened her grip on her axe and turned around, walking towards the stairs to head down and perhaps massacre everyone inside this church. Even if they were already there, she suspected some may have noted her summoning some of the Heartless. (tag: Lightning Farron )

| Wishes and dreams I want to come true. The feelings I wish I could tell you. A miracle created from the things I've always believed is connected to the future. Always, always I want you to watch over me, my dear friend. |
● Make my wish come true... let darkness slip aside As she was now Lightning found herself, once again, on a journey. Though this time it was one of her own decision. The world had began to show signs of change, but not in the natural course that chance should occur. While Nova still struggled to get back on its feet and learn to live in a world with under its own power and without the interference of gods and other outside forces, but in the past few months one of the armies had gained advantage. The leader of the para-military had been close to losing his position due in part to losing a great portion of territory to the opposing group. Now Lightning did not much keep up with who was who and their squabbles so long as it stayed out of the major cities where her friends and family lived. But word soon reached even her ears of a great being that descended from the heavens and granted them a great power. She could not find much more evidence than that, until one day...
Well it eventually led her here. To this world beyond the Crux. She still had her powers. She was still the god of death, but how could she forfeit her role when indeed her people … her world, had naught but Chaos to watch over them? She had to ensure it remained apart and that those who became lost could find their way back into the stream. This world was not unlike her old one. The great towers and gleaming bell that dictated the coming days, chiming in the time as they stood over the streets as a reminder… a testament to their slavery to its bindings. The woman was dressed in soldier’s armor. Gleaming silver plate metal sat decorated with a feathered subligar. Gold edges that pierced the silver tint of the cuirass led one to wonder her rank and role. It was not common for women to take up a soldier’s mantle in this world, but when they did they forsook their role as a woman: as a mother, as a nun, as a peasant and became a servant to the crown. But Lightning? Lightning was no one’s slave. She was the reaper come to find what is it that led her to this world.
She was knelt before the altar with her blade in hand and her round shield on her back. She held her hands on the blade’s hilt, the flat of the sword presented to the spirit of their god. She prayed, called to them and asked for guidance in this world. It would do no right for a reaper to interfere with another world. Many seemed to leave her be: a knight praying for all the souls they have likely taken from this world, or praying for their blade to strike true… But her prayers were disrupted by the sounds of distress from the streets. It seemed trouble had already found her. So this was her sign… huh?
“Well, I suppose it couldn’t go on forever.” She bitterly mused before pushing to stand, her body shifting with no loss of mobility, despite the plate armor. With her blade held out to her side she prepared for whatever would come. “Causing such a disturbance in a sacred place… have you no heart?” Little aware of her choice of words. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

As she climbed down the staircase, Silv felt the trouble brewing outside, there was a lot of trouble going on. Even if she did start some of it. Pondering on it, her very presence might just lure the Heartless out as well. “Doesn't matter,” she said annoyed, more hearts were there to collect and a more powerful entity was below. The Heartless woman felt it as she got down. It seemed, whomever was there, had expected her. Silv raised an eyebrow at her choice of words. “colorful words, idiot. But to be heartless is what makes a Heartless,” she returned when holding her axe firm in her hands. Shadows gathered by the edge of the blade, “and what are you to defend this place? Actually, what really IS sacred? This place? There are no Gods, only filth that think they can lord over those below!” she screamed the last word as she slashed forward despite still having a great distance between her and the woman. From her axe, a black aura flew across as she used Dark Beleaguer and closed the distance between the two quickly. While Silv had not charged her attack, the attack would be weak, but it was more as an opening than anything else. Following the slash, Silv bent her knees before propelling herself forward as she dashed after the initial attack, having her axe spun around and ready to follow the initial attack with a second, now physical, strike from her axe.

● Make my wish come true... let darkness slip aside Light walked with purpose and grace. Her movements could be compared to a fae’s we're one so generous. Pale skin despite her life outdoors and a body fit for a princess more so than a warrior was known to be blessed with. She was otherworldly in her grace yet seemed an average human by the curls in her hair and hope in her eyes. Hope was a feature prominent in mortals, those who still saw.reason to fight and way to succeed. Despair was another attribute mortals were wont to suffer in absence of hope. It was an emotion that so deeply scarred, one could lose their body and hearts never to return. But despite the mortal hope in her heart, this woman seemed to carry a confidence that affirmed her loss of mortality. She was above them, yet she has to have fallen so far below to reach where she stood.
….with wings….
[Heartless]. The word was spoken clear as day, but it was not one she could recognize. Raising her head she did so in a show of confidence rather than disdain for the woman before her. There was something about her that seemed out of place, that made her uneasy. She was far from afraid but she felt as if she needed to mourn this woman. It seems she has lost much too. But what? Light parted her jaws to avoid clenching them in the tense situation. Her brows knitted lightly at the insulting curse from the silver haired dame. Idiot? Though Light did not allow it to distress her there was a sense of provocation to the slur. Had she reacted it would have painted her as someone was always ready to fight. It was not a wrong assumption for the warrior goddess, but too it was a side of her she could not pleasantly display.
“How pitiable...” Light regretted. She had been like this long ago. “It is sacred and as much as it is sad humans depend on God's to do their work for them… they do exist...” She gripped her blade, Silv’s raised.voice showing her aggression clearly. “But it does not make them filth!” When Silv charge Light only had time to raise her blade and Guard against the woman's assault. The light attack was completely nullified by the by the defensive stance, the second one also hitting her blade with a focused force, causing it to spark lightly against the gunblade’s glistening surface..
Anything heavier would have been able to break through…
Light looked up over her blade which she had pulled in front of her to defend. With her right hand on the hilt and her left gauntlet against the blade she was fully guarded from impending attacks. Silv finally backed away and allowed Lightning breathing room, but it was obvious in that assault the woman was lashing out, really no sense to her actions beyond anger. She exhaled, sucking at her teeth with a tsk. Individuals such as this we're always troublesome. She couldn't fight in such a place. While she had her own views on just where god's belonged in a human’s life she knew that these people still lives and still struggled. It would do no good for her to interfere. Lighting closed her eyes, her bangs curtaining over her eyes. She took in another breath and focused on Silv. The woman assessed the situation an old read the clear disadvantages where she stood. So long as she protected this place… she had something to lose. Raising her blade the weapon rattled with weight. The targe on her right arm seemed to give off a glow.
She rest her hand over it, silencing the energy. She raised her brows and chuckled dryly as she slowly marched toward Silv. “I suppose you leave me no choice.” She submitted.
It was either suffer a loss or fight irresponsibly. She would rather stay her hand when it came to the undies harm of others. She stopped her armored heel sliding against the marble ground. “We fight!” She charged Silv!
Pulling all of her strength into her assault the woman leapt toward the Heartless in a full linge. With her blade at the ready she moved in to attempt and strike Silv before kicking off the ground and dashing towards another blindspot to slash against the provoked Heartless. Strike after strike Lightning put her all into the counter attack becoming a veritable Army of One in order to depose the maiden's attitude toward her target. She hoped a prolonged fight could be avoided.
Just long enough to…
Just enough to… “You’re unwelcome here.” She imposed, words heavy and with deep warning. “I will not do more than I have to.” It was not her world and she would not do more than what was required of her, but she was here now, summoned by the Crux.
There was always a reason paths eventually met on one road.

This was interesting. Her attack was blocked, both of them quickly got nullified by the woman, showing this lady was actually capable of fighting back unlike some people she came across. Ignoring her choice of words, she merely grinned at the woman as she moved her back and started her own assault, speaking of fighting. The next quick succession of strikes was beyond of what Silv was expecting. Strike after strike, Silv tried to block some of it with her axe before her, but got damaged well enough to bleed a black stream of blood from the wounds. She laughed. "Gods are no better than Man. We will see what faith is better," she responded with a grin before lunging forward, she tried to chop towards the woman, despite being weakened, her Dark Existence helping her stay afoot better than most people would be capable of. After her initial diagonal strike, she followed it up as she kept the speed behind her axe while flowing it into a turn and a straight cut in the hopes to cut her torso in half. If she was to block, she used her full strength in an attempt to launch her. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

● Make my wish come true... let darkness slip aside Gods. Fal’Cie. Man?
None of them mattered.
What mattered was living your life to the best of your ability, to your own ideas and beliefs. If you believed a god would help you, so be it, but a good may not always be willing to help you. What than? How dependent have you become if you cannot even stand up after that God frees you into the wilderness? All these thoughts pushed Light's attacks into the aggressive woman. She seemed to block a few of her strokes, but the soldier was still a soldier even if her rank no longer meant anything. She was still a warrior, one who's defeated a good far more petty.
Despite the assault the woman sought to proceed. Lightning pulled her arm forward, bringing her targe close to block the attack. Silv’s push to send her flying was met with no resistance. In the air the skirt of feathers fluttered in the motions. Lightning seemed to slow down, everything around her. Above the marble floors with grace and poise: she looked as if she was descending from the heavens. The painted ceilings and solemn groan of the organs. Light in looked to Silv, a pained expression glittering through her blue eyes.
She was sorry. She pitied Silv. “Maybe one day you'll understand.” As she spoke light in crackled around her fingers before the spell swelled over over body and like a cloud over the plains a Surge of lightning magic rained upon Silv before Light landed, knees bending. Using the momentum from landing she would kick off and charge to woman, hoping to land a strike while she was stunned.
Her blade was held tightly by both hands before she slashes across her body, hoping to knock her back and away from the sacred grounds, lest anyone get hurt by their actions.

Noting the pity as the opponent blocked, Silv grimaced and stared with great annoyance at the woman when she spoke. It seemed that this woman wasn't really into this fight at all. It was infuriating to even notice someone that would consider they could understand her. Then as lightning cracked and lightning rained upon her. The Heartless tried to jump a bit back as she tried to take notice of the lightning before a sudden charge struck her. Slashes hitting into her, Silv actively pondered for a mere moment on the past. Her life had been altered so many times, it was even difficult to think back of the past. However, she had hated her life back then and had always sought out more adventures. They had brought her pain and joy, but at the present it was all consumed in rage and hatred. Crashing into a wall, Silv screamed incohorently as she pushed herself off the wall and dashed forward. “Understand what? I'm already dead,” her dash came to a halt, but the momentum from the movement came with her arm moving forward as she threw her entire axe. The axe spun and gave off a black aura as the entire weapon seemed to change into a Black Disc that flew straight towards Lightning.

● Make my wish come true... let darkness slip aside
Lightning's assault was met with question. Amidst the crackle of energy, the lightning flooding the room, the goddess of death stood with her blade touching the ground and her hand upon its hilt. Her head was held high and the winds churned from her magical force caused her skirt to flutter and her hair to dance along its course. She closed her eyes as she exhaled, taking in the worlds spoken by the woman. Though she looked plenty alive to the warrior... Lightning understood that death was not permanent. It was simply a journey. A journey along a new path.
"Yet even in death, you remain." She spoke, seemingly to no one as her gaze was held to the ground where her blade rest. The marble of the church was cracked. She would lament it as the glittering floors poffered up the death god's own reflection. She was dead, was she? "Perhaps I am here to collect." Lightning raised her eyes, the pale blue gems burrowed into Silv's very existence.
The woman seemed intent on attacking and her forward charge after stopping her own crash seemed timeless to the reaper. Lightning pulled up her shield as she stood over her blade, the disc slamming into her with enough force to cause her to slide slightly. The blade remained standing, marking a space between them.
"The dead should rest." She pushed to stand, affirming her own existence with a stomp of her boot. The sound echoed across the church walls, the bells of Norte Dame ringing out as if to confirm her statement. "It is for you that the bell tolls. Your time is up!" She held out her hand as the time around her began to slow for everything and everyone around her.
Lowering to her knee she dashed out toward Silv, grabbing her sword as she went to Launch the woman with the full force of her gunblade into the air. If successful she would Smite the spectre, the downward slash followed up by Ruinga. Her hand would reach out as the energy condensed into her hand to a point that it collapsed in on itself. She threw the white hole as she leapt back, the explosion aimed to strike the woman before the maiden of light landed with a bounce on her heels and turned to face her, sword held out.
"Go back to your grave, or find a new path. It isn't here where the dead come to listen to the whispers of their children." Here, in this church, only the dead had ears.
And if Silv thought her command a jest, as Overclock faded she would hold up her hand as fire swelled into her palm. She would drag down the collected energy and summon a sphere of Flare to consume her.
Overclock - 5 Cooldown
With this ability Lightning can slow down time or even freeze it, for a one post duration, giving her the chance to strike an enemy while use moves at normal speeds. This ability allows Lighting to add an extra attack to her arsenal (instead of a three attack pool, Lightning will have a four attack pool).
Launch - 3 Cooldown
The enemy is launched into the air by a forceful, upward swing, of Lightning's blade.
Smite - 3 Cooldown
When an enemy is attacked with this ability it does a moderate amount of damage, but it only works if the enemy is midair.
Ruinga - 3 Cooldown
This ability deals non elemental damage to all enemies withing a 2m(6ft) radius, which can be launched from a distance.
Flare- 4 Cooldown
Ultimate fire-based magic that effects all enemies. When Lightning is running low on health, this attack does more damage.

Silv actively grinned at the mention of the woman being there to collect. This was ridiculous. Her attack bounced upon a shield, so it seemed she wouldn't go down too easily. Always more fun that way, the Heartless figured, when the bells started ringing and the woman came with more statement, Silv laughed, "twice I've been denied the rest, twice I have denied a God, Altana? Promathia? Neither the Goddess of Dawn nor the God of Twilight can claim me no more," she replied as she moved to dash at Lightning, but then there was something wrong. The axe was returning towards her, but while it should easily have spun and returned to Silv, the woman seemed to speed past it with ease. She didn't understand what was going on, how did she suddenly get so fast when suddenly she was hit and launched into the air. Though, after being launched, her own body came to a normal falling speed again, at least from her perspective when another strike hit her in the air. It appeared this person was trying to beat her out of the game as fast as possible. She had honestly thought to have fun with this person before she took out all the joy of trying to do some mutual torture. Hit down by the downward slash and then bullied by even more magic, Silv crashed into the floor where she remained and a sudden sphere of flame consumed her. Gritting her teeth, she didn't like this any more. They had meant to only just get started, but instead she got bullied into eating the dust so fast that she simply could not keep up. Her vision was slowly failing and the Heartless tried to get up. Parts of her body was fading in black smoke as she was getting in an upright position. "What grave am I meant to find anyway?" she called out annoyed, "you'll see, the dead will hear the cries of their children soon. When the Heartless overrun this world, they cannot be denied," she continued irritated as her body sunk into the ground as she opened a Corridor to Darkness beneath. "I will haunt you, some day I will take you down!" she called out as a last warning before the portal closed and the Heartless had vanished. Silv left the thread.

● Make my wish come true... let darkness slip aside A pity.
That is what lightning carried for this spectre of the past. When the maiden ended her assault, her vigorous attempt to spare the church the unwanted casualties of its peace she stood there, equal to Silv. Her force had already done to disturb the peace. In Truth, Lightning did not belong here either. She stood there, regal and strong. Her hand rest on the hilt of her sword as it once again lay blade down against the ground. Her chest heaved with breathe, the concurrent actions had taken their toll. Manipulating time did always seem to come forth as a wholly illogical means to gain advantage when you were left so weakened. But this she would not show for it was not who she was.
Right now she was Lightning.
Lightning frowned as Silv poured out her heart, however contradicting as it seemed for someone in the warrior's position. "I'm sorry." Was all Light was able to provide as Silv fled, her pride as much hurt as her corporeal form. "You will be of the many that haunt me..." Though Silv was gone she felt need to respond.
How many haunted her still, those of her past? In time they faded. She could no longer hear the admonishing voice of her mother and so too would the encouraging, chiding warmth of the Lieutenant would fade away in time. That was all anything ever took.
Time...
Lightning knew her time here was up. With the dead vanquished she would turn toward the altar and walk toward its raising step. As she walked toward the cardinal's vacant throne a Gate would open and swallow her. With that the ringing of the bells would resume to their normal speed and the would would never know that the Goddess of Death and her opponent were ever here. Perhaps ... another time.
