Riku walked through the gates of Traverse Town, having arrived on this world just moments ago to resupply after being on patrol on a world nearby. It had been a long time since he found himself here, but the place truly had not changed a bit. Traverse Town was something of an anomaly. No matter how much time passed since you left, it appeared that the world was simply waiting on you to return. If he did not feel so at home on the Islands, he might have made his home here. Chuckling briefly at the thought, Riku began to make his way towards the various shops. That last patrol put a drain on his resources.

He wondered who was running the item shop since Huey, Dewey, and Louie left to live with Scrooge McDuck back in Radiant Garden.

Consumed by the Sorrow of the Past, I shall use it to forge mjyself into a weapon!

The absolute last thing Repliku had expected in any time period was to run into an individual he had tried to avoid. Namely the one from whom he had been cloned, or based off of. Repliku was currently walking through the town - hating the fact he did not have good clothing. And by good clothing he meant clothing that would not freak out the locals. The expressions on some of the inhabitants of the town made him believe he was hated by them. Of course he didn't exactly look like the epitome of a good guy with the purple, and black body suit, nor the red and black logo on his chest.

If it were not for the fact that this outfit was the only thing he personally owned other than his replica of a weapon his template had long since replaced with something that was infinitely better, he would have discarded it by now. Of course, as he couldn't fight to save his skin save to swing that thing around, and look menacing, he had no choice but to use it for now.

The clone approached Riku, and tapped him on the shoulder. "Been a while. You won the last time we fight. When I'm ready, and able to face you on even footing, we will have to see if I am just a replica, or if I have moved past that."

Riku had hardly taken two steps when he felt a tap on his shoulder. Turning to face whoever was trying to get his attention, the silver-haired teen stopped in his tracks and saw a face he was quite familiar with; his own. He was struck mute from confusion and surprise, so it was a good thing the copy decided to speak first. He knew of only one other besides himself who wore that face. He had fallen in battle a long time ago, however. Back in Castle Oblivion. Yet here he was, in the flesh. There was no denying what he saw with his own two eyes. Based on what he was saying alone, Riku knew who this man was. He spoke of their final battle, and how when the time came, the two would fight again to see if he truly was a replica, or if he had at last become his own person.

All the young Master could do in response to this was stare at his replica for a moment before finally speaking. "Is that... is that how you greet someone after coming back from the dead?" Riku still hadn't fully processed the situation. The sudden reappearance of the Vexen's Riku Replica... what could it mean? Things were getting stranger and stranger as the final battle approached.

"Not usually. However, things are spiraling out of control quicker than I would like. You lied by the way. You said my heart would go to the same place as yours, Riku. It didn't. Instead I somehow ended up inside another clone body. Only this one has one defect compared to the original. It does not know how to fight - at all. Sadly, that is one of the reasons I must ask you what I am about to, Riku."

Repliku then looked at him for a moment. Wording something like this was not going to be easy for the replica. Asking for help had never been a strong suit of Riku, nor of himself. However at present he had no other choice. If he was to be ready for his eventual encounter with Larxene where he could stand a chance, Repliku knew he needed help.

"Will you help me shed the connection I have to you?" asked the clone as he manifested Soul Eater in his hand. The blade was one he wanted to get rid of at his earliest opportunity. Sadly enough finding a replacement blade for it did not seem that likely. Still, Repliku had his own plans. "If it were not for decency's sake, I would have torn off, and burned this dark suit with fire, did I not need it to traverse the Corridors of Darkness safely. Eventually I need to find something better looking than my dark suit."
