The chance to repair her mirror was upon them. They had managed to find an enchanted rose in a rather unkempt castle guarded by some monstrous beast. However, they had encountered no such beast. Simply some old suits of armor and a few heartless. Nothing that could not be easily dispatched. The man with his magic based out of flowers had agreed to repair her magical object in exchange for information on Kingdom Hearts. That was something she could easily agree to. It would take but a moment to turn over information on Maleficent. It would also be rather simple to bring him along with her to one of the gatherings that she had mentioned. Discussions on how best to handle the current situation. It truly was not something that the Queen bothered herself with. But, it was helping her toward her own goal. Maybe, just maybe, they would be able to assist her in locating Snow White as well.
But for now, her mirror was the priority. Until this man was able to physically repair her mirror, she would have minimal chance to locate her prey.
The Queen opened her eyes and loosened her grip on Lauriam's arm. Her other hand following suit as she stopped touching the pendant around her neck. The Queen took a few steps forward toward her throne and walked up the steps, allowing the man to follow. Finally, she headed up a few more steps and paused to touch a cloth she used to hide the magnificent mirror. It wasn't until now that she spoke to the other being in the room. "Hopefully the size of the object doesn't matter..." She explained as she moved the cloth, one she'd placed over it to keep him hidden, to reveal the large mirror. It was a rather beautiful mirror.
The border of the mirror rather ornate with the colors and gold. However, the most noticeable feature being the large crack up the glass. The queen ran her hand up the mirror, displeased by his current state. It must have been that keyblader who harmed her mirror. She would certainly make them pay for their indiscretions. After a few moments of assessing the damage again, she turned to face Lauriam. "Do you need anything in particular to assist?" She half asked. She preferred to use her mortar and pestle or even some of the items that she had in her private lair.
It was not someplace she would take him. But, she would happily collect any items he needed to repair her mirror. This would probably be the first and only time that she offered such assistance. The mirror was something she did not mess around with.

Lauriam didn't like it when people just touched him without his permission, the queen was no different, but he did stay silent when she just pulled him with her through some kind of spell to bring him to her castle. The moment they entered the other world, his arm would set himself free off her grip, even though she let go willingly, the assassin stepping back a little, holding back a glare. He should have known she was not capable of opening portals like them.... but whatever, the important thing was that they had gotten what they wanted and were able to enter her world without any difficulties.
His eyes traveled around the area, trying to recognize anything, but he had not ever heard or seen from this world before, so this must be one the organization had not been to. Interesting... Lauriam couldn't help but wonder what interesting things could be found here, but he didn't have time to explore it right now. The woman took the lead, Lauriam following her silently, ignoring the slight stinging in his arm. It would take a while, but his anger would fate eventually. Disgusting creatures...
He had to say, the queen had a rather good choice of decoration and architecture. The colors and cloths on the wall really held something he would like, though the sinister undertone could not be hidden even with such beauty in her castle. When the queen led him into the room the mirror was, the assassin narrowed his eyes at the big object hidden by a cloth. So this was the object? He could sense a certain amount of magic coming from it, but it was rather weak. Grimhilde uncovered it, actually asking him if the size didn't matter, which made an eyebrow rise on his face. She was.. offering assistance? This was new... till now she had not cared about anything. It seemed the mirror really was very important to her. Important enough to forget about her majesties pride?
Lauriam almost had mocking words on his lips, but chose to keep them to himself, his feet carrying him up to the broken object to examine the broken glass. Her offer for help however let him chuckle slightly.
“Assistance? I don't need such a thing.”
He moved his hand under his jacket to reveal the flower again, the object floating over his palm, still glowing and intact like nothing had changed. His other hand reached out, touching the mirror on it's surface, his eyes trailing the object like he was searching for something.
“What an interesting object... I hope you will not betray me after I fixed this.”
His eyes flashed dangerously at her for a moment, before an other empty smile would creep on his face.
“We don't want all the afford to have been for nothing. I don't like having my time wasted.”
With that said, he could focus on the object now, his eyes fixed on the big crack in the glass. The floating over his other hand would start to glow more intensively, magic slowly sprouting from it's petals and carrying over to the mirror in front of him, carefully woven by the magician. It slowly sank into the crack, the pieces of the mirror starting to illuminate with the object's magic, slowly seeming to stitch itself back together again. The magic mixed with Lauriam's, his ether mixing and taking over, using the rose as guidance.
It took a few minutes of carefully performed sorcery before the last piece of the mirror melted back together, a strong glow taking over the whole glass before it would vanish again, the mirror intact once again. Lauriam let go of the mirror again, stepping back for the queen to look at his work. The rose in his hand was glowing less strong now, having been sucked of part of it's magic, but it was still alive and functional. The assassin put it back into his coat, his other hand moving through his hair.
“It is done.”

The Queen watched the man closely after she had turned to face him. He did not seem pleased in the slightest bit. Though, she did not care. As long as he repaired her mirror, the two of them would be fine. The Queen had no qualms striking the man down where he stood had he lied about his abilities. It would have taken her a lot more time to grind the flower to a powder and create a salve to mend the mirror herself. Potions and magical items were her specialty. Though, the power of the mirror was a bit outside her working knowledge. She would have tested the water, but she did not want to damage and harm it.
The man practically mocked her offer for assistance and any tools he may need. Her eyes narrowed at his tone. But she said nothing in reply. The mirror was her priority. She simply could not speak down to him at the moment. Not when they were as close as they were. So, she bit her tongue and took a step back to get out of his way.
Lauriam pulled the flower from his coat before stepping forward to examine her mirror. It annoyed her that he was so close to something so precious to her. However, it was necessary. The queen folded her arms as he touched it to determine the damage. Lauriam commenting on the object and stating again that he'd not be pleased if she betrayed him. "The only way you will not get the information you seek if if you are unable to repair my mirror." She stated rather coldly.
The stare between the two was rather intense. However, he broke the gaze to take focus on her most prized possession. It was truly her closest and only ally. She trusted his words more than any other's.
The Queen watched intently as he drew the magic from the rose and worked to alter it's magic to mend her mirror. It would have been rather enchanting to most people, the beautiful colors. However, Grimhilde was not most people. All she wanted was the outcome to be for the best. The woman watched closely as he cast the spell and worked on using his magic with the power from the rose. Eventually, the crack became smooth and the magic flashed off the mirror before disappearing. Lauriam removed his hand from the mirror and took a few step back. The rose was not her concern. He could have it for all she cared. She listened as he spoke, her eyes on the mirror as she stepped forward to touch it, running her finger where the crack was. "We shall see....." The queen stated quietly before facing the mirror straight on and speaking.
"Mirror Mirror, On the Wall.
The One who speaks in slow a drawl.
It's time to wake, you must agree.
Come Forth, I beacon thee."
The mirror stayed silent for a moment as she waited, a faint frown beginning to form across her face at the delay. She was beginning to believe that it had not worked. The woman had begun to turn when the flames began in the mirror. Her eyes redirected before the flames died and the smoke rose, the face green and reminiscent of a mask. It spoke after a moment. "A restful sleep, I must admit. A keyblader with sky blue hair was the culprit. But all is well with thy Majesty. Perhaps you'll grant me amnesty. What wouldst thou know, my Queen?"
A faint sigh of relief leaving the queens lips at it's greeting. "We will discuss my requests later. I am pleased that you are still alive, in a sense of the word. You are dismissed for the time, slave in the magic mirror." The head listened before bowing it's head and fading, the mirror becoming just that, the queen's reflection.
The queen then turned to face the light rose haired man benind her, a pleased expression. "I suppose you deserve your compensation for your assistance." The queen began as she stepped down the steps before facing Lauriam again. "The woman's name is Maleficent. A formidable sorceress. She explained to me that she plans on unlocking Kingdom Hearts. If you do fail to locate her, in a few days time if you return, I can escort you to the meeting place she arranged to discuss the plan further. I had not decided if I would attend, but if you are unable to find her, then I suppose I must attend."

Lauriam watched as the queen walked in front of her mirror, chanting something to it in hopes of activating it. Lauriam just watched with his arms crossed, the silence that stretched shortly after she was done not doing anything to make him nervous or question his skills. He knew he had done what she had wanted him to and when flames started to appear in the mirror, a grin would form on his face. A face appeared behind the glass, only a mask, but it was a live and answering her. He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow when he heard what the mirror had to say. A keyblader with blue hair...? Interesting.. he didn't know anyone that fit this description, so there was a rather strong keyblader on the move? Maybe, maybe not. Who knows how long this object had been broken.
The queen dismissed her companien again, now turning to Lauriam with an expression on her face that told him she was very pleased with his work and would finally give him what he wanted for the trouble he had gone through. The information was something he had not expected, a familiar name being mentioned by the queen that made his eyebrow move up ever so slightly.
“Maleficent, you say...”
He knew about the dark fairy, so it was even more surprising to hear she was alive. From what he knew, she had been slain by Sora and vanished into darkness. Lauriam couldn't help but wonder how exactly she had come back from the dead. That aside, Maleficent would truly be a good point to start at. She knew about Kingdom Hearts even without her meeting Ansem. She had gathered the princesses of hearts to unlock the door and this alone was a remarkable job.
Grimhilde mentioned that Maleficent and her had business with each other that would involve a meeting in a few days. A meeting she would attend with him to make it easier for him to locate her without having to search the whole universe for the witch.
“I see.. hearing that the witch is alive truly is rather interesting news. News that is worth my work, indeed. You say this meeting will be soon... Her majesty doesn't know where the sorceress has her domain?”

The Evil Queen watched the man closely as she spoke to him. He certainly did not seem surprised, repeating the sorceress's name as he did. It was like he already knew what she was telling him. It was honestly a bit annoying, but it did not stop her from explaining the situation completely. At the very least, she would be more than happy to escort him to the meeting. She simply knew that she would be stuck attending if she did take him. Then again, maybe it would be in her best interest to do so. Especially with the way Lauriam was looking.
It was a few moments before he spoke up, surprised that she was alive. He didn't take long before asking if she knew where she lived. The queen frowned a bit in response. Why would she know such information? That was not something that you simply exchanged in passing for the first time. The only reason that she had brought this man to her castle was to repair her mirror. That was all. Otherwise, she would have never done so. Her domain was that. Hers. She did not need others learning of her home world. It was hers to rule.
"Why would I know such a thing? It's not something that we exchanged casually over our discussion. I'm sure she'd much prefer neutral grounds to discuss whatever it is that she plans to go over." She explained with a displeased expression once more. She almost wondered if he was simply stupid or enjoyed acting that way to irritate her.
"So as I stated, if you are unable to locate her, in a few days time you may return here. I'll escort you myself to the meeting." She responded, displeased at having to repeat herself again. "...that's all the information I have for you at the time." She would have a rather intense discussion with her mirror once this man left. She had many things they needed to go over including their deaths and the location of snow white.

Lauriam raised an eyebrow at the words she shared with him. So.. he really had no choice but to wait for the meeting that had been set between her and the witch long not ago. Like he already stated before, he didn't like to have his time wasted. With a sigh, he would move his hand in front of him, his magic creating a rose that he carefully took between his fingers.
“Well, I guess I have no choice at the moment but to await the said meeting.”
He turned away from her, placing the rose on a table close to him. Maleficent was not stupid. Of course she would chose neutral grounds to make sure her new home is save from any intruders that might could cause problems.
“I will leave this here for you.. a little token of our partnership for now. When the time for the meeting arrives, take this rose with you. I will find you easily with it in your pocket... I don't want you to start searching for me when the time has come.”
With that said, a portal opened up in front of him, his face turning for him to look at her once more with a smile on his face.
“Until then, your majesty...”
And with that, he would leave this world and the queen with her thoughts and the mirror he had fixed for her. Even though it was much more work than he had wanted it to be, it had been useful in more ways than one. Not only did he find a new tie to the darkness, he also good a nice souvenir. The Beast's Rose.

The queen watched Lauriam as he sighed before creating a lovely rose between his fingers. It wasn't anything too grand. Just a simple rose. He spoke up saying that he had no choice before laying the rose on a nearby table in the room. He planned to leave that here? She certainly had no use for a flower. That is, until he explained it's intent. The woman nodded in understanding. I had no intention of seeking you out. But this saves you from needing to arrive early, I suppose." At least she did not need to bring him herself. But, it meant that she would surely need to attend such a meeting.
The man's smile bid his farewell as he criptically spoke before stepping through the portal. Once it had closed the woman glanced at the flower, shaking her head as she did. It was going to collect dust for the time being.
She turned herself and moved back up the stairs to admire her mirror. The salmon haired man had done quite an amazing job on him. The crack had disappeared like it had never been there. She ran her finger carefully across the glass before a smirk graced her lips.
"We have much to discuss, slave within the magic mirror." [End Post]
