PREPARE FOR DE-RESOLUTION ┍ If Sark was completely honest, he wondered how he had lasted this long. Stepping proud forward into the arena, he overlooked the arena. It was like the past round had never happened, all was repaired. The ring, the houses, practically everything was back as it was. He recalled that the other preliminary round had also been there, it had apparently been fairly frosty. Yet only the snow was still there. The weird white stuff that blanketed the floor calm. His footprints were left behind in the snow while he circled the ring. Looking at the workshop he had crumbled beneath his arms, the Program couldn't detect any malfunction in the identical recreation. Was it even a recreation? Perhaps it was a simple way of copying and pasting the building, or perhaps the previous one was one of many saved copies. It mattered little. Turning his face to the rest of the ring, he hoped this other finalist wasn't like the man on the rooftop. One that defied order and simply stood outside of the ring from the very start. It bothered him when one stepped outside the regulations. Sark's functions had been gathered, he was running at full capacity for the scenario and he still was capable of aligning the functions. Much like the previous round, he would be ready if he needed to start crushing things beneath his feet. Now it only came down to the other finalist if he was worth the use of said functions. Placing his arms behind his back, Sark observed. Thus allowing his new foe to take the first action in this round. WORDS: 269 TAGS: @redmage
Actions 1,2,3. N/A, since honestly... I'm unsure where Rojo wants to pop up and I don't want to go assume things. ┚

His cape flew wildly in the midst of a strong gust as Rojo stood atop his new favorite perch, a candy-cane light post. The first round had ended and, of course, the brilliance of the Red Wizards fine combination of White and Black Magic and swordsmanship stood out and granted him victory of a brutal blonde baboon, a strange old maid with a key weapon, and a young, foolish boy with a key. None of them could match the prowess of Rojo, the Red Wizard of Light.
Rojo was slightly impressed with his final opponent, the strange man-thing Sark. Although his palette choice of..was it attire..met red mage's approval, the hues he chose were all wrong. You see, none were better than his choice of Candy Apple Red and a Crimson winter's cape and hat. Oddly enough, some of his choice in color was nearly orange. How dare he mix oranges with reds!
"Before we begin, I shall warn you. I will not judge you by your tacky choices in reds, sir, but know that you have entered in the ring with Rojo, the Red Wizard of Light. I have bested the Four Fiends, each single handedly. My superior intellect bested the Lich before his dark magic could send me to my undeath. I wrestled the Kraken to the ground and pinned him into submission. I defeated Marilith's six swords with my own blade, and my ferocity outmatched even Tiamat. Even Chaos could not stand up to my prowess in combat. En Guarde!"
With that Rojo cast his first spell, Haste, and dashed forward toward Sark in a bright blue flash of speed. He attempted to dash through the enemy with a single, devastating strike to show his expertise in the twenty-third school of fencing!
After gliding through his opponent, Rojo hopped up into the air, grabbing the edge of a rooftop and flipping upwards onto the shingled roofing. He then turned and unleashed a single wave of flame toward his enemy. Fire would be his friend in this harsh winter air, but he had to be careful. If the red wizard were ease up on his offensive, it could certainly spell his doom.
He noticed the man did not have any long range weaponry on hand, which meant that he was likely a hand-to-hand combatant. Therefore, Rojo would do well to continue to attack from afar. It would add to his advantage the added speed of his current buff spell.

PREPARE FOR DE-RESOLUTION ┍ Watching the red-cloaked individual enter, the Command Program kept his eyes on him. The man started talking, seemingly enjoying to give his speech. Sark recalled his speech to those destined for the Gaming Grid. He had given them the chance to become eligible for an Identity Disc and joining the Warrior Elite of the MCP. Considering that, he remembered the program, Tron, to have battled him later on as well. The Gaming Grid wasn't really any longer here, but what this “Red Wizard of Light” as he called himself was on about, Sark didn't know. "You talk of Fiends, Magic, and a lot of other unidentified things, but to stand against chaos itself," Sark replied, not being familiar with many of the things the man was on about, "I am Commander Sark, Command Program and Number Two of the MCP. My primary function is to uphold order and command others. Your words, your boasts, your actions will show your true specifications, words alone does not clarify all.” He unfolded the arms from his back and held them out as he concentrated on his functions. The opponent seemed to be a quick one when he dashed forward. The strike at that speed had caught the Command Program a little by surprise and while he was hit back, the Commander kept his feet well on the ground despite feeling the power behind the strike. He tried to calculate the measure of this man as he watched the man glide through the air and going for a rooftop right after the strike. Coding started to circle around Sark when he saw the flames spawn forth from this red mage. A globe of light and code surrounded Commander Sark as the entire ball disappeared with Commander Sark in it. The flames hit nothing but the ground. Sark's globe reappeared from above, a trick he had used before with Morne on the rooftop as he had used Data Transfer to teleport to above the rooftop. From behind his back, Sark pulled the Identity Disc while flipping in the air as he was falling onto the rooftop. Before he stood upon the roof itself, he had thrown the disc at Rojo's torso in an attempt to strike the man unaware while he had perhaps not seen the light from his teleportation above. So far, so good. The crimson caster had found success up close with his magically enhanced agility and his prowess in the art of fencing. However, that's when things got a little hairy. As Rojo attempted a small fire blast, the enemy, a weirdo named Sark (what the hell was a program anyway), put up a shell-like barrier and vanished. Rojo did a quick scan of the battlefield, but didn't pick up his new location until it was too late. He caught a weird energy disc thing right in the midsection. That one kinda stung. If Rojo allowed his enemy to connect a lot of those, he was sure to be feeling it in the morning.
The impact of the disc caused Rojo to lose his footing on the slick, snowy surface. As he slid down, Rojo pressed off the roof, spinning towards his opponent in mid air. He desperately needed to keep up his offensive. He would keep his opponent on his toes as well. This was not going to be a slow paced affair. As he rose, magic gathered into his palm once more, but this time he would take it a little more seriously.
The heat from this next spell began to radiate from the area before he'd even finished casting it. The entire rooftop that the program guy had immediately erupted in a large scale explosion. Firaga was great for situations like this, it was like artillery without the catapults. The large spherical explosion also allowed his to close back in on his opponent. At the end of his leap, Rojo used the lingering effect of his enhanced speed to dash back in for another physical attack. As he closed in he immediately attempted a strike across the midsection and Control, Alt, Delete his opponent. He continued with a diagonal slash and a thrust forward.
Still boasting his impressive speed, Rojo kicked backwards once more, as a healing magic overtook him with a slight Cure spell healing his minor injuries from the disc. The final round had just begun, but it was already brutal. Surely, the program thingy would realize the futility of his efforts soon, or he'd be in for punishment from the man who believed he single handedly saved time itself.

PREPARE FOR DE-RESOLUTION ┍ Glad to see his attack connect, Sark controlled the disc to fly and return in an attempt to strike Rojo from behind while he was doing his magic. Also he started his other sequence to place a wall in case he needed it. The eruption of flame over the rooftop was not one that Sark had immediately suspected and feeling the heat burn through his physical form was difficult. Sparks of electricity came from the burn marks as Sark stepped back, but let the disc still fly towards Rojo's back in the hopes to strike him while he appeared to be moving in quickened state towards him. Sark didn't even move when Rojo came towards him, instead a strange dark grey wall popped out of the rooftop between them before he could strike him as Sark used Fire Wall to block the way for an attack. While the wall was there, he wasn't exactly able to see what his opponent was doing next and still controlled his disc while it was there. He would feel a surge if it connected with anything, but after the attack he allowed it to fly upward into the sky and in his sight. Turning the disc towards the side of the building, Sark allowed it to fly straight across the other side of where the wall stood in an attempt to see if the man was still there. After that the disc returned to him as he pondered on his next action. As small screens started to appear in the air around him, functioned transferred to him as he placed his capacities in the right procedure. His size started to grow as Sark outgrew his wall and the building beneath his feet started to crack. He started his Control Functions as he now stood as a giant atop of the building. Looking down towards Rojo, he punched his fist down to where he stood if he was still in sight. WORDS: 328 TAGS: @redmage

This Sark guy had a lot of strange abilities. Rojo was fortunate enough to land the full power of his Firaga spell, but things weren't so easy for him when he went in for a close up. Rojo's physical combo was blocked by some sort of magical wall that had separated the two of them. It appeared as if this guy could use his own version of magic like Protect or Shell, but somehow it enabled him to completely negate his attacks.
It was definitely a good thing Rojo had gained some distance, but he wasn't expecting that disc to make a comeback. Just as the cast of his curative magic completed, he felt the familiar sting of that freaking disc rail him in the backside. He needed to find an answer for that thing, or at least keep tabs on its location so he could block it when the time came. That little freaking- wait! Did that thing just return back to him? What the hell kind of boomerang disc was that?! That made the disc even more deadly.
"Haha! I see your game now, Sark. Prepare yourself!"
Rojo was about to act once more, standing in the middle of the plaza, when the red and orange warrior began casting another sort of spell. A weird screen of some sort appeared in front of him, and suddenly the man began to double..wait, triple..no..ok, just multiply himself several fold in size. He could see the building itself buckling under his massive weight. Windows busted out as the foundation slipped and the entire building crumbled beneath this size. However, that didn't slow down the red wizard's enemy. He had launched a fist toward Rojo.
First off, Rojo was going to need added protection against an attack like that, so a white veil overtook him as Protera was cast. Unfortunately Rojo didn't have time to fully dodge the strike. He merely launched himself backwards using his backward mobility to soften the blow, but it was still enough to feel the damage. Sark's punch added to Rojo's momentum, and of course Haste had already ended, and launched Rojo into the side of a building. The added protection made sure nothing was broken, and no serious harm had been done, but the red mage had to make sure none of those punches connected anymore.
Rojo had an immediate plan to continue his damage to the large scale techno-wizard-thing. He immediately vanished to Sark's eyes with his favorite defensive Invis spell and lept upward. His hands found the edge of his favorite candy-cane pole and he pulled himself up onto it, still feeling a little pain from the blow he'd suffered. He was actually impressed by the damage he'd taken even with his Protera spell up. It was no wonder Sark had managed to tear through his competition.
From his new vantage point, the red wizard cast Thundara. This spell began to litter the skies with several streaks of lightning and littered the battlefield with lightning strikes. Fortunately for him, the MCP's 2nd in command was just tall enough to attract 4 different strikes in his direction. Sometimes, bigger wasn't always a good thing.

PREPARE FOR DE-RESOLUTION ┍ His disc returned to his back after circling the area while he grew to greater sizes. Down below, he noted that Rojo was still present. He appeared to have jumped back and back into the plaza, which seemed convenient to the Command Program. It wasn't perhaps like the Gaming Grid, these matches, but there were also fighting games present back at the Arcade. He just prefered the Light Cycle games. Instead he was combating a mage that used real magic while all he could do was simulations that somehow worked in reality presently. He wondered if this was something the MCP had been working on back at the time. As he punched down at Rojo, there was some sort of white barrier that showed up as he hit. The man was still launched, perhaps due to the size difference, but Sark was uncertain whether his strike was doing all that much. The looks were there, but whether it was just show, Sark was not certain. Actually, while Sark watched the man in red, he faded from his sight. "What." He scanned the area, annoyed that this man was able to disappear. Quickly scanning both the ground and the air around him, it didn't take long before sudden lightning strikes littered the battlefield and Sark stumbled back. Pulling a foul face, Sark made a small hop in the air, figuring what the red-cloaked individual could do, he could as well. He landed with both feet and hitting the ground with both arms as lightning strikes once again littered the battlefield as he used his Electric Circuit to summon lightning strikes all around him in an attempt to strike the man wherever he might be. Perhaps it would get him out of hiding. The man didn't have much else for area attacks outside random stomping the field. This was for now the best he could do. Looking around him, he continued to search for the man. Sark pondered on perhaps teleporting again to a better position, but without seeing the man, it seemed pointless. It was better if he could teleport himself somewhere he could flatten the man under his foot. WORDS: 366 TAGS: @redmage

The battle had shifted completely in Rojo's favor. But, of course it did. Rojo was the one responsible for saving time, at least in his own head. His crafty solution for escaping the physical onslaught of Sarkzilla seemed to result in a hefty advantage. Sark grew mad it seemed and began littering the entire town in small blasts of electricity. The red wizard cringed in pain as the wave of electricity washed over him, frying his nerves. Rojo was careful to remain quiet. Any sound would alert the program of his location, and he couldn't have that.
Well, Rojo would reveal himself to Sark, but under his own terms. He cast Temper upon himself and he could feel his physical power growing. His muscles flexed into a bulge and he knew the time was right for close range combat, just as the red wizard dashed forward toward Sark. His invisibility ended just as he reached striking distance. He attempted a dashing slash upon his large scale enemy, under the effects of his physical buffs. As he became visible, the red aura of his physical buff mixed with the white aura of his protect spell and began to swirl and intermingle.
Rojo's unique mixture of physical attacks and long range warfare is what would win him the battle. He was one of the few warriors he knew of that could stand back and cast spell after spell then pick up a blade and wield it as a capable swordsman. If he became injured in combat he could also heal himself of these wounds. This made him a most unpredictable warrior on the battlefield.
Rojo jumped into the air. This time he would use his powered physique to unleash a combo upon the face of Sark. Well, he couldn't reach high enough with a jump alone. The large scale Sark was much taller than even the buildings in the area, so his midsection would have to suffice. He first attempted a horizontal slash, and immediately followed with a diagonal slash toward his lower right side. He finished with another thrust and kicked off backwards, to stand in the middle of the large open field. His defensive buff would be ending soon, but he still had a plan to keep himself out of harm's way.

PREPARE FOR DE-RESOLUTION ┍ Looking around after his attack, there didn't seem like there had been a change to his surroundings. Then when Sark felt a hit, he cringed and gritted his teeth now. He was slowly becoming agitated by the situation. This warrior was throwing attack after attack and seemed to have a full arsenal of them. Whether it was close or from afar, tricks or frontal assault. This looked bad, he even only had a single opponent and he was clearly having trouble dealing with this pest. Soon after, Sark's eyes spotted the red flashing figure. The man with his red robes was right in front of his chest as he felt the strikes hit his mid section. Electricity surged from his wounds, small digits of data seemed to flow from the wounds, lacking the ordinary blood that the Users had in their bodies. Since the man was up in the air, he figured he had a chance as he dashed right after the red-robed man when he kicked off his own body. Both arms stretched, he slammed them together in an attempt to catch Rojo in-between them. If he succeeded to capture the man, Sark followed it up by slamming the man into the ground below him. If not, he continued his dash and tried to hit the man with both arms down to the ground. Right after that attempt, the entire Command Program leapt up with both feet towards the building at the back. He would crush the building below his feet and shatter the pieces away around the building before he would return his focus to the man, hoping to maybe shatter pieces of the walls and windows onto him. Meanwhile the Fire Wall atop of the damaged building on the other side of the arena sunk back into the ground and vanished as its time had ended. It's time for another thrilling round of good idea, bad idea. Good idea: attacking Mega-Sark while invisible and under a physical buff. Bad idea: leaving yourself wide open to a massive thunderclap from the digital wizard. This guy had brute strength to spare, and Rojo was about to pay for all of it. The massive hands crashed in on him, and he again felt pain. This time it really freaking hurt! He no longer had the protection spell to keep him from feeling pain, so the extra large blunt damage really took its toll.
The gigantic program then made it a combo by slamming his fists straight into the Red Wizard from above, and the damage began to pile on. Now, the smart idea would have been for him to continue this onslaught, but instead he made for a power play. The king-sized villain lept towards a nearby house and aimed to jump on it.
That was it! This was Rojo's chance to gain the upper hand once more! He clutched his ribs with one hand and immediately cast a spell with the other. Immediately the entire battlefield covered itself with large icy spikes as Blizzaga activated his trap. He would pierce the cyber warrior the moment he hit the ground!
While he had a quick moment, he also cast a curative magic with the hand that was clutching his ribs. It radiated a green energy that immediately overtook his entire body. Curaga healed his wounds most of the way. He was back in fighting shape, except for a few nagging pains that he still felt in his lower back and ribs. However, that was really nothing major to worry about.
As the building collapsed underneath Sark's weight, the red mage hopped onto his feet. He grabbed his blade from the snowy fields and ran his hand along it. As he did, a loud, screeching sound pierced the nights air in the area. The Confuse spell worked wonders for him in the first round of the tourney, and he hoped it would here too. He would disorient his opponent long enough to gain his composure and cast another round of devastating spells, this time to hopefully finish the job.

PREPARE FOR DE-RESOLUTION ┍ His attacks were doing damage, that much Sark was certain of. It was unlike that of a program, but he didn't know the User's way to show problems in their system. But as his attacks had connected before and this time again as he managed to actually slam the red-robed man into the ground. It seemed the man was losing his defenses or what it seemed like it was. The Command Program wasn't all too familiar with magic. Outside of things like games and such where it was used. He believed some were present in the Gaming Grid, but he hadn't had the opportunity to fully learn all the bits and pieces on it. Jumping onto the building, Sark noted something of a difference. Ice. Where his feet landed to crush the building had him slide and while he still fell atop of the building, he landed with his back atop of the rooftop as the entire building crushed under his weight. Pins of ice sticking into his back. The program stared somewhat annoyed and wary up, electricity was sparking from his back under him as he felt the damage. He had seen the man use a lot of fire-based magic before, so did the man turn to ice tricks now. Thinking of it, he wondered if the invisibility was something ice-related. He tried to search his memory banks for any of such links in what sort of elemental links this man could possess. Working his way back up from the collapsed building, Sark found the ground to be slippery before something hit him. The entire place seemed to spin as he lost his footing and fell flat forward on the ground, his search through his memory banks were now all a mess as he couldn't even put his mind to anything as the entire environment eluded him. The pain of the ice spikes from the ground didn't seem to catch up onto his mind. There was some maintenance, but Sark was having difficulty keeping to his thoughts as they spun. Being a program, his preferred action was to simply reset his systems as the lines on his body slowly lost their lights. His body became darker as his eyes closed. His functions were now being reset and vanished from him. In his Confusion, he ended his Control Functions as his body started to shrink back to his regular size while still flat on the icy ground. Both back and front of his torso was displaying a lot of electricity from the many wounds he had suffered. At this point, it was becoming difficult for him to maintain his physical capacities. Rojo had quickly gone from on the ropes to on the verge of winning this tournament. But, could anyone really doubt him? The program guy seemed to be tough, but it was pure physical strength with a couple of tricks. As long as Rojo had been able to stay out of the way of his massive strikes, he'd been able to hold the upper hand.
The program had fallen right onto his Blizzaga just as he had intended. He saw the small crystalline skewers pierce into the guy's backside. Another spell cast that had come off perfectly. Rojo was surprised the guy was still physically fit to fight, and the Confuse spell made things even better. This guy went completely on the fritz! Those small screen thingies popped up, and the greatest thing happened, he reduced back to his normal size!
Now was the time to strike, to finish this battle once and for all. Now, after climbing back to his feet, he knew exactly what spell to cast. The area around the program erupted into a spherical ball of flame as the explosion spell, Firaga, was cast again. Hopefully the power of this spell would force the program into submission.
"I think you know now how this will end. You cannot win. I've forced creatures stronger than you into submission. I believe you know now the power of the Red Wizard. Submit before I'm forced to finish you!"
As he spoke, Rojo's hand began to glow green once more. A smaller version of his healing spell overtook him again. Cura would finish healing his wounds so that he was completely healed of any damage he'd taken. He stood there, completely ready for another round of fighting if need be, as the harsh winter air picked up and began tugging his cape in the direction it desired.

PREPARE FOR DE-RESOLUTION ┍ Already on the ground and with electricity sparking from most of his body, Sark wasn't really able to do anything as a sphere of flames surrounded him and he was set aflame. It was as if lightning popped all out of his body when the flames fried his systems and he collapsed on the ground again. As his reset finished, the Command Program noted all the pain and damages all over his body. His very Program wasn't going to last in this current situation. He had no way of repairing himself, he needed to get repairs right this instant as things stand. His arms cringing and shaking as he pushed them underneath his body, Sark tried to look up at Rojo. "I am Commander Sark," he barked, fully angered now as he tried to stay in a position that was neither comfortable nor easy to maintain. "You fried my coding, but I do not submit to an User!" he continued as the lights of his body lighted up and started to surround him. In a sphere of light, Sark disappeared before the entire orb vanished. Sark used Data Transfer to disappear from his current position. Behind another building, the sphere reappeared and Sark appeared from the light as the sphere vanished. He had teleported himself out of sight from the Red Mage. Moving his arm to his back, he removed the disc that sat on his back. With difficulty, he pushed himself to his feet as he started to move towards a side to find a way to keep check on Rojo. Throwing the disc to his left, the Identity Disc started to fly automatically and flew further around the buildings before allowing it to appear at the destroyed building at the other end of the field. The disc flew upward while Sark had moved himself to the side and started to sit on the ground to rest while keeping control of the disc. From the side of the building, he checked for Rojo to try and strike him with the disc. As it took some time to crawl to the side of the building, he hoped the red mage was still around there and hadn't moved himself inside a building. He chose to start attacking the wizard from long range, having full control over his disc made it easy for him to hide his body while continuing his assault if he was lucky. Perhaps this had been a better idea at the start, now he thought over it. WORDS: 423 TAGS: @redmage NOTE: Totally trying to keep the fight going. xD Though, I bet if Rojo find Sark, this comes to an end. Sark's incapable of using any healing and is pretty much just trying to keep himself stabilized.

The final round of the tournament was nearing its completion. Rojo had poured it on against the unique program, Sark. His own mixture of physical attacks with black and white magic proved to be an effective combination. The black magic enabled him to attack from a distance while the white magic made his physical attacks stronger and mitigated his damage. He had taken plenty of damage from Sark, but his white magic also proved to restore him back into fighting shape.
When his Firaga had blasted straight into the confused Sark, it had nearly destroyed his opponent. He wasn't bleeding, but leaking some sort of electricity from the open wounds on his body. That's how Rojo knew his opponent had been beaten. When the familiar sphere erected around him, the red wizard didn't object. He was certain he knew the techno wizard's plan.
When he vanished, Rojo did a quick survey of the surrounding area. He kept his ears open as well as his eyes for any sign of the vile Sark. Nothing. He didn't see the faintest spark nor could he hear the echoes of a single footstep. It seemed he was correct. His enemy had left the battlefield and forfeited the remainder of the championship round. A small sigh of relief escaped the red mage's lips before he began gloating.
"And thus the red wizard proves successful on another endeavor! I conquered the villainous Sark and preserved even the slightest inkling of sweat from escaping my brow! I, Rojo, claim the championship!"
Now, Rojo, with his arms raised in victory. Moved toward the edge of Sandy Claws's workshop. His epic victory would reward him with a brief respite. However, just as he was about to seat himself, a familiar sting struck him in the back of his head, knocking his bright red hat off of the crown of his head. It would seem the disc had made its third successful strike at Rojo. Individually these disc strikes didn't do enough damage to cripple Rojo, but the damage had added up. Thankfully, he'd healed himself of all his prior damage.
Anger now seeped into Rojo. His favorite hat was laying in the snowy field. It was filthy. How dare he?! This...monster has soiled Rojo's favorite hat! That was unforgivable.
"You're still here. Show yourself and let us finish this. You have committed a crime I can no longer turn my eye to. You're more vile than Chaos himself!"
